Sam and the others looked toward Azazel with confusion. None of them understood what he meant. So, Sam took the lead.

"What the hell do you mean you want us?" Sam snapped

Azazel smiled in return. "I've come to collect what's mine."

Dean made sure the woman was alright before coming to stand beside Sam, Carly, and Ethan. His face was pulled into a grimace, a fire burning behind his eyes. Dean's hand returned to his gun.

"How are you doing?" Azazel asked, turning his gaze to Dean. "I haven't seen you since your daddy's death. You know when I tore his life from him with ease?"

"You son of a…" Dean muttered

Dean pulled the gun out of the back of his pants and pointed it at Azazel. With anger he pulled the trigger, landing a shot right in Azazel's chest. Both of them knew a bullet would do nothing to Azazel, but it made Dean feel just a little better. Azazel looked down at the hole and pulled the bullet free with a flick of his wrist.

"How rude." Azazel whined, looking down at the hole. "I loved this shirt and now it's ruined."

"Oh boohoo. Why don't you cry about it, Princess?" Dean mocked

Azazel sighed with annoyance. "I may just do that, Dean, but that is after I take what I came for. Now I know you all will try to fight me. So, let's fix that, shall we?"

Azazel lifted his hands into the air and squeezed his hands into fists. As he did the others dropped to their knees in pain as if he were crushing them within his grasp. Then with a snap, Carly, Sam, and Ethan were gone. Dean watched with shock as one minute they were there and next they were gone.

Dean's gaze met Azazel's. "Where the hell did you take them?!"

Azazel crouched down in front of Dean with a smile on his face. He took a hand and grabbed the chin of Dean. He scanned him up and down with a grin.

"I took them to battle and by the end, only one victor will remain." Azazel admitted before disappearing from sight.

Ethan, Sam, and Carly landed upon the rough gravel of a dirt road. They had all gone unconscious in the process, Sam waking up first. He sat up with a start, gasping for air as he looked around in utter confusion. He checked himself for injuries before he noticed Ethan a few feet from him. He checked and Ethan was breathing.

That's when he didn't notice Carly beside him. He got to his feet and scoured the land, spotting her almost 15 feet to the right. He ran to her side with worry, noticing a few cuts on her arms from landing on the rock beneath her. Sam checked for breathing first and sighed in relief when he felt her breath against his hand.

"Carly? Carly? Carly, are you alright?" Sam asked, shaking her unconscious body.

At first, there was no response. He was worried she may be hurt worse than he thought, but then her fingers moved. Seconds later, her eyes fluttered open.

She sat up, rubbing her head. "What happened?"

"Azazel sent us here," Sam said, grabbing Carly's hand and helping her to her feet. "For what reason, I'm not really sure, but I have a feeling it isn't going to be pretty."

They were transported to an empty town. The buildings were old and falling apart. Paint chipped and windows shattered. Wood cracked and bent. It looked like it had been abandoned for years with no one to call it home. No one to even notice it at all.

Ethan awoke a few moments later with the same confusion Sam and Carly had. He was bewildered and frantically looked around before spotting them. He didn't know Sam and Carly well, but he didn't want to be alone. He scrambled to his feet and approached the two, scratching his head.

"So, where the hell are we?" Ethan asked

Sam shook his head. "I have no idea."

"Great…" Ethan muttered

Carly nodded as this high-pitched sound filled her eardrums. She gasped, grabbing at her head. Sam and Ethan both noticed, concern smothering their features. Sam maneuvered to the front of Carly so he could look into her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Sam frantically asked

"Where am I?"

"What's happening?"

"Is this a dream?"

"The voices…" Carly murmured, squeezing her hands tighter against her ears.

"Voices? I don't hear any voices?!" Ethan asked, looking around with confusion.

"I just killed my girlfriend."

"I have no one left."

"My baby."

Carly met Sam's gaze. "We're not alone. There are others...here. They are scared...so very scared."

They were all frightened and confused as their thoughts rang through Carly's head like someone was torturing her with a bullhorn. They were speaking over one another as if she was at the center of a rowdy crowd. This was the worst it had been since she got her powers and she just wanted it to stop.

"How many others?" Sam asked, taking Carly's hands away from her ears. She looked up into his eyes as he whispered. "Don't let it make you go insane. You can do this...how many are there?"

Carly sighed, trying to decipher them. "At least four, maybe more."

Ethan realized she was hearing thoughts rather then real voices. He appeared beside the pair so he wasn't left out of what was going. He looked around before turning back toward Carly.

"Are they like us?" Ethan asked

"I think so." Carly muttered

"Where?" Sam questioned, looking all around.

"Follow me. From the volume of their voices, it gets louder going this way. So, we can start there." Carly said, heading deeper into the abandoned town.

After minutes of searching, they finally found another person. He was of medium height with brown hair and clothed in jeans, a green t-shirt, a grey sweatshirt, and white tennis shoes. He was exploring near an old little red schoolhouse when they spotted him. Sam took the lead and they tried to get closer.

"Who are you?" Carly asked, startling the man who didn't expect people were behind him.

He shot around with his hands raised into the air. The fear on his face was replaced with relief and recognition. His gaze traveled to Sam as Sam's gaze traveled to him.

"Andy?" Sam questioned

"Sam?" Andy asked, running up to us.

"You know him?" Carly and Ethan exclaimed at the exact same time.

"Yeah, he's a...friend." Sam muttered

Andy smiled and brought Sam in for a hug. Sam awkwardly hugged him back, patting Andy's back slightly. When he pulled away, Carly stepped forward.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Carly and I read minds." Carly admitted, shaking hands with him. He had sweaty hands but Carly didn't react, just smiled. He didn't look like a bad guy but you never can be sure.

"And I can turn invisible." Ethan announced, wanting to be included.

Andy looked toward both of them and smiled. "Well, my name is Andy and I place thoughts/actions into other people's heads. Do guys have an idea why we're here?"

Carly could hear the thoughts of more people coming closer to them. She tapped Sam's shoulder so she would catch his attention. The three heard footsteps coming from around the corner. They tensed up in fear that the group was filled with demons or something even worse. Yet, as they made it around the corner, Sam recognized the woman at the front.

He stepped forward with confusion. "Ava, you were taken months ago, I thought Azazel killed you."

"No, he didn't kill me. He just dropped me here, leaving me all alone. Well, until all of you started popping up." Ava said, crossing her arms over her chest. "I found these two while I was looking for food. We decided to head closer to the center of town and that's when we found you."

Carly looked toward each of them. She could hear their thoughts loud in her head, speaking over one another. She tried to control her breathing and block them out, but it was harder than she expected. At the crime scene, she was near the cops for only a short while before she ran after Ethan. She wasn't stuck beside them, but the more she focused on her breathing the voices got quieter...turning into nothing but whispers.

Sam, wanting to get to know everyone so we weren't strangers, took the lead. "My name is Sam and I have premonitions. It can be a real pain in my ass but also helpful at times. What are all of your gifts?"

"Well hi, my name is Andy and I can put thoughts into other people's minds. I can make them do things, see things, or listen to things. Like this one time I made my boss think about gay porn for all hours of the day, it was hilarious." Andy admitted, giggling awkwardly.

The man beside Ava went next. He was tall with dark eyes. There was a heavyweight on him that Carly could see clear as day.

"My name is Jake and for the past few months, I've been able to lift things I never could before. I don't know how I got these powers but I love mine. I was training one day and when no one was looking I reached for a cruiser and picked it up with one arm." Jake said

"So you're in the army?" Ethan asked

Jake nodded. "Yeah, if you hadn't noticed I'm still wearing my uniform."

Ethan awkwardly nodded as he explained to the others that he could go invisible. Ava went next basically saying she had visions just as Sam did.

The blonde next to Ava was slowly getting angrier and angrier. "I wouldn't call this a gift, I'd call it a curse. Ever since my abilities started my life has gone from good to worse."

She started walking past Sam but he moved in front to block her path, questioning her. "Why do you think it's a curse?"

"Because she killed her girlfriend…" Carly muttered

The woman stopped dead in her tracks. Her glare turned on Carly with a murderous glint. Her fists were clenched and so were her teeth.

"How did you know that?" She asked, moving closer to Carly. "How!?"

"Because you're thinking about it right now. She would not be mad at you because you didn't mean to do it. You stayed away as long as you could but eventually, something would've happened." Carly retorted, keeping a confident look on her face.

"You can…"

"Yes, Carly can read minds." Sam said, meeting her gaze.

The blonde looked from Sam and back to Carly. Instead of causing confrontation, she huffed. Taking a big step backward she flew her arms into the air and slammed them back against her thighs.

"You know what...I'm done. I'm going to find a way out of here." Said the blonde, walking toward the edge of town.

Sam yelled after her. "We should stick together! We were sent here for a reason and if something bad happens, we can protect one another!"

"I kill people with the touch of my hand!" She snapped with anger. "You don't need me. I would just get in the way or kill you. I will not take another life, never again."

She took a few steps backward before running off into the woods. Sam wanted to follow her, but they had to stick together. Separating was not a smart move and he knew that. So with a regretful sigh, the group watched her vanish into the treeline.

Ava turned back toward the rest of the group. "I think we should split up. If Azazel did send us here, she shouldn't be alone. There could be monsters or other nasty things out there."

"Azazel?" Jake asked

"That's the demon who gave you your powers." Sam explained

Jake nodded slightly, muttering under his breath. "That's probably the least of the weirdest things I've heard."

"Alright, Andy, Jake, and I will go this way. Sam, Ethan, and Carly you all go that way. If you can't find her, meet back here and we'll regroup." Ava planned, turning to look toward each of them.

When they went their separate ways, the others' thoughts were still clear as day like they were talking right to Carly. She tried to focus on Sam's, which were all about saving the girl and if he'd ever see Dean again. That's when she heard someone's thoughts begin to scream.

"Ow…" Carly gasped, putting a hand to her ear.

"Carly, what is it?" Sam asked

"I know where she is…"

Carly ran ahead of them as Sam and Ethan tried to catch up. She ran off down a side trail, getting closer and closer to the woman screaming. She wasn't screaming aloud, but her thoughts were loud and scared...terrified even.

Carly made it to the voice just as it got cut short. She made it to a large wooden windmill. Sam and Ethan caught up to her, all three out of breath. Carly was confused until she looked up. The blonde was hung off the windmill as if she was an ornament on a Christmas tree.

Dean rose to his feet with confusion and anger. Azazel was gone and so were Sam, Carly, and Ethan. He was left with the crying woman who hadn't gotten off the ground since Ethan dropped her.

Dean kept his priorities straight as he went to the woman. From what he could tell she was in such shock she didn't even notice the others vanish. So, Dean helped her to her feet and got her to the car. She asked where the others had gone and Dean lied saying they had called the police and were waiting for them in another location.

The woman wasn't convinced, but she had no reason to question him after he saved her life. Dean helped her into the backseat and then pulled out his phone, dialing the only person he knew would pick up. It rang and rang before Bobby finally answered the phone.

"Hey Dean, how is the case going?" Bobby asked

"We figured it out and stopped him." Dean muttered

Bobby noticed something was off. "You don't sound as relieved as I thought you would. Did something happen?"

Dean sighed aloud, squeezing his eyes shut for a quick moment. He had no idea what he was going to say as he didn't really understand what happened. Yet, if anyone could help with this it was Bobby.

"Azazel showed up and took them."

"Took them...what do you mean took them?"

"I mean he showed up and then...they were gone." Dean explained, clenching his fist. "Sam, Carly, and the other special child are gone. He said...he took them to battle and by the end, only one victor would remain."

Dean could hear Bobby's sigh on the other side of the line. "Alright, can you make your way back here? I have a few friends that will hopefully be able to help us figure out what happened."

"I just have to drop this woman off in town and I'll be on my way." He replied

"Dean...please hurry."

"Don't worry, I'll be there as soon as I can."
