Dean dropped the woman off in town and then drove non-stop toward Bobby's. He was surprised a cop didn't stop him at the speed he was driving at but he was so glad they didn't. When he got to Bobby's, he parked the car and ran right up to the door.

Just as he was about to knock, the door flung open. Bobby moved aside so Dean could come into the house. Dean began pacing back and forth across the kitchen, Bobby watching the movement with his eyes. Dean did this for several more minutes before turning toward Bobby with worry.

"What are we going to do?" Dean asked, throwing his hands into the air before slamming them back against his thighs. "Azazel just took them and I have no idea where they are."

"We'll find them," Bobby reassured

"How the hell are we going to find them? For all we know, they're already dead!" Dean shouted in frustration.

Bobby shook his head, placing a hand on Dean's shoulder. "Don't talk like that. We will find them and everything will be fine. I promise."

Dean's gaze met Bobby's as he nodded, slowly taking a seat at the small table. Bobby went to the fridge and got two beers, handing one to Dean. They clinked bottles before taking a sip at the exact same moment.

"I talked with Ash this morning. He said he may have an inkling of what happened. I told him we would head to the roadhouse after you calmed down. It may be nothing, but it's a start." Bobby admitted, taking another sip of his beer.

"I just hope we find them in time." Dean worried

"We will...I know we will..." Bobby muttered in return.

Sam and Ethan followed Carly's gaze with wide eyes. Both were just as horrified as she was. Carly heard the woman being attacked and she still couldn't get there in time to save her. Her stomach dropped as her fists clenched tight.

"Oh my god...I think I'm going to be sick." Ethan whispered, a hand rising to his stomach.

Sam looked back at him with annoyance. "You killed like five people. How the hell is this making you squeamish?"

"I was on adrenaline and at the time I thought I was getting revenge. This is different…" Ethan replied

Carly listened to their bickering until her fist flung out and collided with the wood of the windmill in front of her. She knew the second she hit it, she had cut open her hand as her skin felt warm and throbbed in pain. Sam and Ethan noticed this as Sam ran over to her.

Her hand was covered in blood with a splinter or two. Sam pulled off his plaid and used it to wrap around her hand. As he worked, Carly looked toward the ground with guilt.

"I could've saved her. I should've saved her…" Carly muttered, her vision blurred with tears.

"There's nothing you could've done." Sam insisted

Carly shook her head. "I heard her thoughts...she was screaming. I heard the terror in them as everything went silent. If I had been faster then maybe…"

"Maybe, what? Maybe, get yourself killed?" Ethan asked, swallowing the spit in his throat as he looked from the woman toward Carly. "It wouldn't solve anything. Pretty sure you told me that."

The others came around the corner and were confused why Carly was crying and bleeding while Sam and Ethan were white as ghosts. Well, that is until they looked up. All three were shocked, Jake voicing his concern.

"Who could've done this?" Jake gasped, covering his mouth with his hand.

The blonde still hung by her neck, swinging in the breeze. If she didn't have the power to kill with her hands, someone would've gotten her down. Yet touching her could still be dangerous, meaning there wasn't much they could do.

"We don't know who did this," Sam muttered, shaking his head. "Carly heard her thoughts and we followed them to the windmill, but by the time we got here she was already dead."

"So, what do we do now? I mean the blonde chick is dead and one of us is probably next. I say we run for it and hopefully one of us makes it out alive." Andy suggested

Everyone went silent, not really knowing what to do next. That is until Sam came up with an idea. He made sure Carly was okay before pulling Andy off to the side. Sam had no clue if this would work, but it was better than not trying at all.

When they were a good distance away, Sam whispered to Andy. "Can you send a message to Dean?"

"A message?" Andy asked, realizing what Sam meant. "I've never sent a message that far before. I'm usually only a few feet from the person."

"Can you try? Please." Sam begged

This was one of the only chances they may have to get help. They had to try or whatever killed the blonde may come for them. Andy met Sam's pleading gaze and caved.

"What do you want to show him?" Andy questioned

"Anything to tell him where we are. If he knows where we are, he'll be our rescue. Can you do that?" Sam pleaded

"I will do my best...here goes nothing." Andy sighed, focusing on what he was going to show Dean.

Dean and Bobby finished their beers before heading out on the road. Yet, when they arrived at the roadhouse there was nothing left. The building had been burned to the ground. The place was in ruins with burned bodies scattered about. Smoke rose from the brick-like walls and smelled even worse. It was completely destroyed, nothing left that even looked like the building that once stood there.

"I know demons are evil, but did they really have to do this?" Bobby muttered

"It was full of hunters, eventually they had to act." Dean sighed

"Do you think Ash, Ellen, and Jo were in there?" Bobby asked

"Ash definitely was," Dean muttered, picking up a melted payphone with a body still holding onto it.

"How do you know it's Ash?" Bobby questioned, peering down at the burned corpse.

"Because his computer's right there, part of his plaid vest is showing, and you can kinda see where his mullet once was," Dean said, pointing at the singed hair.

"Do you think the others got out? I mean I didn't see anything that resembled Ellen or Jo." Bobby murmured as they headed back to the car.

"There are too many bodies to tell," Dean said, rubbing his forehead with his hand.

Bobby noticed Dean's sudden pained expression with worry. He took a step forward as Dean collapsed onto his knees. Dean gasped in pain, clinging to his head as if he was trying to crush it between his fingers. Bobby crouched down in front of him, grabbing onto Dean's tense arms.

"Dean, what's happening?" Bobby asked

"I don't kno…wahhhhhh!"

The world around Dean washed away to show a new picture. A town of broken-down buildings and a giant bell with a fancy-looking tree carved in it. Sam and Carly were wandering around as everything came back to reality.

Dean's eyes went wide as a raspy breath escaped through his clenched teeth. Bobby helped Dean to his feet. He was a little dizzy, but Dean felt better within seconds.

Bobby looked him over with concern. "Did you just have a vision?"

"Do you have a pen?" Dean asked, ignoring Bobby's question while pulling a piece of crumpled paper from his pocket.

Bobby sighed and scoured his pants for a pen. He found one and handed it to Dean. Dean moved closer to the car and used it as a table. Dean tried his best to draw the bell he saw, which by Sam's skill was like a kindergartener trying to draw.

"Have you seen this before?" Dean asked, holding up his drawing so Bobby could see it.

Bobby squinted his eyes before recognition flashed across his face. "Yeah, I've seen that bell before in a history book. It's from a town known for all its residents disappearing."

"What do you mean disappearing?" Dean questioned

"I mean one moment there were people and the next there were none. Everyone just...disappeared. No one knows what happened to them, so they closed the town to avoid anyone else from going missing." Bobby explained

"Like the Croatoan virus," Dean whispered to himself.

"Exactly like the Croatoan virus," Bobby replied, meeting Dean's gaze.

The gears within Dean's mind were turning. Whatever he just saw, whether it was a vision or something else, pointed him to that town. A town that was definitely vacated due to demons. It was the best shot they had and he was going to take it.

"Do you know where the town is?" Dean asked

"Yeah, but why do you want to go there?" Bobby questioned

"Because that's where Carly and Sam were taken," Dean said, getting into the car. He dug through his pockets and found the keys, starting the engine.

"How do you know?" Bobby asked, getting into the passenger's seat.

Dean looked toward Bobby more seriously than he ever had before. "I just know...now hold on."

After Andy sent the message to Dean, the sky was beginning to darken. Until Dean arrived they were sitting ducks. Sam led the group to the building with the least amount of windows and decided to set up camp there. In case Dean arrived while they were asleep, Sam carved his initials into the wood of the doorframe so Dean knew where to look.

Once that was done, Sam decided to keep watch so the others could get some sleep. They began to retire, but Carly couldn't stop thinking about the girl and the windmill. Her screaming thoughts kept repeating over and over again in her head.

"It's not your fault," Sam whispered. "Just because you heard her thoughts does not mean it's your fault. You didn't kill her."

"But I feel so…"

"Guilty?" Sam finished as Carly nodded. "Look, I know what you are feeling right now. I have felt that same type of guilt. When my girlfriend Jess died...I had visions days before she died of her death."

"I'm so sorry…" Carly muttered

"I treated them as just bad dreams, but then she died. I felt so much guilt I could barely breathe. I could've stopped it from happening but I denied their meaning and it got her killed. It...took me a long time to understand it wasn't my fault," Sam explained.

"Can I lay down beside you?" Carly asked

Sam nodded in response as Carly tiptoed over the others who were fast asleep. She came to sit down beside him, laying her head on his lap. As she did, he began to play with her hair. A shiver ran down her spine as she snuggled against him.

"Do you think Dean will find us in time?" Carly whispered, closing her eyes to enjoy the sensation of his hand running through her hair.

"I hope so...I really hope so," Sam muttered

He continued to play with Carly's hair as she fell soundly asleep on his lap. It was the best sleep she had since she lost everything. It was so peaceful until REM sleep kicked in and a nightmare plagued her mind. Not of the one Azazel put there, but of the deaths of her friends, her family, and the girl hanging from the windmill. Carly shot up with their screams ringing in her ears.

She could tell it had been a few hours since she fell asleep due to the sky being darker than it had been earlier. She turned around to find Sam asleep against the wall. She smiled at his cute sleepy face and was prepared to go back to bed when she noticed Ava wasn't in the room. Terror filled Carly's gut as she feared Ava had died or worse, so Carly rose to her feet and sighed in relief when she noticed Ava standing outside. Carly needed to calm her racing heart so she decided to go outside as well.

Carly walked from the room and came to stand near Ava. "I'm guessing you can't sleep?"

"Yeah, I just needed some air," Ava muttered, meeting Carly's gaze. "You?"

"Same here. It's just a lot to take in. I've only known about all of this for a short time." Carly shrugged, sighing deeply. "I've lost a lot and I don't even think I've had time to comprehend what the hell is going on."

"Sam told me about your late-blooming powers," Ava muttered, kicking the dirt with her shoe. "I've had to deal with this for over a year and I can barely handle it half the time. I cannot even imagine what you're going through."

"Yeah, it's not easy," Carly whispered

"At least you have Sam to help you through it. He tried to help me before Azazel took me to this place." She whispered with a deep sigh. "I'm glad you have him, but I'm sorry."

"Sorry? Sorry for what?" Carly questioned with a raised brow.

"This…"

Ava moved a cloth from her pocket and pushed it against Carly's face, slamming her backward into the side of the building. Carly tried to push the cloth away, but the more she fought the more her body weakened. She tried one last time before she lost consciousness, falling down upon the dirt.

Ava crouched down beside Carly, pushing a hair from her face. "I'm sorry, but it had to be done. He wants you alive and I can't have you getting in my way."
