Severus, Minerva and the twins were enjoying breakfast at Minerva's seaside cottage when the Daily Prophet came. As expected, the front page article was about their soulbond and subsequent wedding reception. Images from their reception the night before graced pages 1, 2 and 3 of the paper. It seemed it had been more of a social event than they had realized.
The article covered their want of a private, intimate wedding, the twins helping Severus pick out the wedding bands, Apolline arranging the wedding reception. "Minerva became my sister when she married my almost sister Arwen," Apolline had told the journalists. "Arwen's death didn't change that. Her children referred to me as Auntie Apolline and mine refer to her as Auntie Min. It is my honor to plan her wedding reception to the wizard who is very much in love with her. Minerva is very lucky in finding not one soulmate but two in her lifetime. I can only hope all of the children are so lucky."
The article also quoted Pomona Sprout when she was asked about the missing Headmaster. "Albus Dumbledore would have loved to be here to support Minerva and Severus but it just wasn't possible. Hogwarts is still in session and he was honor bound to stay at the school while Minerva, as Deputy Headmistress, is away. Albus sent his regards for the happy couple and arranged for some of their closest friends and family to be able to attend the wedding reception for a few hours."
"I wonder if Albus will choke on his lemon drops when he reads Pomona's quote," Severus asked amused.
"Its likely," Minerva answered amused. "I still say he will be too shocked about my official sorceress status and disuse of my glamour charm to notice it right off."
The article had included a certified Ministry certificate that Minerva's magical ability and core size put her in sorceress range. The reporter had discovered Minerva and Hermione were the only witches in that category in Magical Britain at the time. It also discussed Minerva's mother and how she had pleaded with her daughter to hide her abilities from those that wished her harm. It discussed her acceptance of her mother's pleading and then Celeste's request for her to be herself by foregoing the glamours.
"I want to see the students reaction when they see Severus smiling in the pictures," teased Robbie with a mischievous grin to his new stepfather. "They will probably die of shock."
"Not to mention what panic his unmarred forearm will cause at the Ministry of Magic and those within Voldemort's ranks," Hermione offered.
"Indeed," Minerva said amused by the look of disdain Severus was giving the children.
Severus and Minerva entered the Great Hall for dinner on the night before classes were to resume. They had decided to present an united front towards the students. She had her arm looped through Severus' and both wore smiles. Minerva had replaced her emerald teaching robes with a form-fitting pantsuit with a small outer robe. Her hair was at the nape of her neck in a braided updo she had worn in her youth. Her emerald and black diamond wedding set was proudly displayed on left hand.
Severus had done away with his standard stiff looking suit. It had way too many buttons for Minerva's liking and he had given in to her want to steal moments here and there. He dressed in a classic three piece black suit with a Slythrein green button up. His black outer robes were still as billowy as ever. He looked more relaxed to all present.
Applause started at the Head table but soon the entire room was cheering for the newly wed couple. Filius graciously scooted down a spot so Severus could sit next to his wife during meals in the Great Hall. Severus pulled out Minerva's chair as his manners demanded of him. Minerva smiled lovingly at him before tucking into the meal that appeared before them.
Minerva let out a groan as she slid into bed next to Severus that night. She flopped to her side and threw her leg over his waist and laid her head on his chest. "Have you had as a trying day as I have," she asked.
"You mean about lovesick girls wanting to know about soulmates and teenage boys trying my patience with inappropriate questions? Or was it when Albus visited me and gave me an inquisition regarding our need to marry," he asked. She chuckled at the aspiration in his tone. "I have given out more detentions today than the last month before Christmas break. I also threatened to quit teaching if Albus persisted with his questions. You should of seen his face when I told him you had enough in your vaults to ensure I could be a kept wizard if I desired it."
"Glad to know I wasn't the only one dealing with emboldened students," she replied with a smile. "You will have to show me your memory of it. I bet Albus was furious."
"He was," her husband whispered. "I don't want to discuss that right now. I want to worship my wife's delectable body." Severus tilted Minerva's chin towards him and kissed her lovingly, passionately. She moaned as he pulled her fully on him. Clothing was tugged off in between passionate kisses and loving caresses. Severus slipped a finger in her womanly folds and moaned at the wetness he felt. "You are so wet," he whispered as he sucked on her neck.
"For you," she replied as she tangled her fingers in his hair. "Now make me forget everything but you."
He rolled her onto her stomach and used his weight to hold her there. He moved her legs apart and settled himself there before he invaded her slicken womanly folds with his firm member. He smirked as he heard his wife moan loudly. "I love you Min," he whispered seductively as he rolled hips.
She cried out lustily at the sensations flowing through her body. He wrapped one of his strong arms around and then underneath her chest to play with her nipple. He used the other one for leverage as he set a steady pace of moving in and out of her. Time ceased to exist as they made love. Moans, gasps and pants were all that was heard as sweat coated them from their efforts.
When Minerva cried out her completion, Severus allowed himself to fall off the brink. He bit down on her neck lightly as he did which prompted Minerva to shake in pleasure. "You're all mine," he claimed roughly.
"All yours," she agreed wholeheartedly as she calmed herself down from the ecstacy her husband managed to bring her. He had a way of making her lose herself in her pleasure. Arwen had been the only other person who had managed to bring out the same emotions in her.
