CHAPTER ONE
MAIN OFFICE
Jonesy:
I still can't believe you two were born on the same day...
Joss:
Weird, huh?
Kelly:
So who's coming?
Jonesy:
I'm in
Amy:
Count me in too
Alex:
Why would I miss out on the chance to pick up some hot babes?
All:
Alex!
Alex:
Just joking!
Everyone was in party mode. Just then, Tom stormed out of his office.
Tom:
Everyone, it's not knock-off time yet so get to work!
Kelly:
Are you coming tonight?
Tom:
Oh loud music and drop kicks? (He looks at Joss) I think not.
Joss:
(to Kelly) How come he looked at me when he said the word dropkicks?
Man
from front counter: Because he knows you too well!
Joss
looked up and saw his big bother. He smiled.
Joss:
Terry! What are you doing here!
Terry:
You didn't think I would miss your party, did you?
Joss
got up and hugged his brother. Joss and Terry were best friends as
well as being brothers.
Joss:
It's great to see you - how long are you up for?
Terry:
Just a couple of days. Are you going to introduce us?
Joss:
Oh yeah right, this is Alex , next to him is Susie and Kelly, at the
desk behind is Jonesy, at the desk next to him is Mark and the two in
plain clothes are Amy and PJ. Oh yeah, this is the boss.
Terry:
No wonder you have grey hair - it must be from all the stress of
keeping Joss in line!
Tom:
(rolling his eyes) If one Peroni wasn't bad enough now we have two…
Tom
was about to walk into his office when he noticed tears steaming down
Kelly's face.
Kelly
was sitting at the front of the court room. Beside her sat her crying
mother. Kelly looked up at the man in the docks with a look of hate
as she heard the foreman of the jury say "we find the defendant not
guilty".
Tom:
Kelly what is it? What's wrong?
Kelly
ignored the question and ran past him hitting him in the left arm.
