Minerva smiled at the pouting face of her daughter. The wedding and reception plans had sailed smoothly with the exception of Hermione's dress. Apolline and Celeste had arranged quite the showing of Magical and Muggle options; however, Hermione hadn't felt any of them were the correct one. "I dread the day I have to take my girls to shop for their wedding attire now," Apolline commented dryly.

Hermione sighed before looking at the Veela. "I'm sorry Auntie Apolline," she whispered. "I just feel like something is missing."

"Might I help?" Minerva asked as she took out a box from her pocket and magical enlarged it. "Open it love."

Hermione looked inquisitive towards her mother but the older witch remained silent. She opened the box and gasped in delighted suprise. The vintage off-white dress was made of the finest silk, lace and pearls. It was flowy without be cumbersome and would highlight Hermione's figure without showing too much. She lifted it gently from the box and held it front of her. "It's perfect," she breathed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror.

Minerva smiled at that. "It was your mother's," she revealed. "Arwen had it placed in our Emerald vault for safe keeping. I found it this morning when I was looking for some sort of jewelry for you."

Hermione teared up and raced into her Màthair's open arms. Minerva held her daughter as she sobbed emotionally. She wasn't entirely sure if it was because of the situation she and Harry found themselves in, missing her mother or a combination of the two but she held her regardless. "I love you dearest," she whispered, Scottish brogue ever-present. "Shall we see if your Grand-mère has any sort of jewelry to match your dress?"

Minerva McGonagall Snape cried happy tears as she watched her daughter glide effortlessly across the dance floor with Harry. The young wizard had managed to learn how to properly dance, thanks to Andromeda Tonks of course. Harry seemed to only have eyes for Hermione and it warmed her heart. Their wedding had been quite the social occasion for British and French magical communities. There were more people than she anticipated but she had understood why. Apolline and Andromeda Tonks had joined forces to try to garner support for Harry.

The current political climate was always there in the back of their minds nowadays. The self proclaimed Dark Lord was operating out in the open now and it was time for the fence sitters to join one side or another. Minerva hoped most would support Harry but she was sure some of the more traditional ones would lean the other way simply due to Hermione's parentage. Same sex marriages weren't really the norm for Magical Britain.

"May I have this dance," Robbie asked as he held his hand out to his mother.

She shook her head to rid herself of her thoughts and grinned lovingly at him. She graciously accepted his offer and allowed him to lead her onto the dance. They had danced together each formal occasion they attended and she hoped he would always seek her out for a dance or two. Her mother's heart desperately sought any time they could spend together. "The wedding was lovely," she commented lightly.

"Mya is happy," he replied.

"You love your sister so much," she said with a light smile. "It is so refreshing to see."

Robbie offered her a grin. "Growing up with the Grangers, it was always us against everyone else. We didn't make friends easily nor did we really care much about it but there was always a piece of us missing. Mya settled some when she received her Hogwarts letter but something was still out of reach for us. When you came into our lives, the missing piece was smaller somewhat. When we learned about the Bellamy Family, again that piece was smaller. I think Mya no longer has a missing piece. She needed the soulbond to be complete."

"And your missing piece?" Minerva inquired.

Robbie offered his mother a reassuring smile. "My missing piece wasn't as large as Mya's but I have an inkling of what would help."

"And?" she prompted him to elaborate.

He offered a reassuring smile before uttering, "Teaching."

Minerva teared up at the notion of him following in her footsteps. "Really?" she asked suprised.

"Aye," he mocked her accent which caused her to laugh delightfully. "I want to start a primary school of sorts and bridge the gap between wizarding and muggle customs. I can introduce wizarding world raised children to muggle society and muggle raised children to wizarding customs before they start Hogwarts. Squibs could be introduced to the muggle school system and be integrated more easily."

Minerva was immensely proud of her son during that moment. "I shall help you in any way you need," she promised. "That is a very noble cause. I shall search for property in Hogsmeade for a potential school. It will be tricky to find enough property to have space for a school and play area for the children."

Robbie grinned at his Máthair and her willingness to help him achieve her goals. "It will but you will have plenty of time. I still have to earn my muggle teaching degree."

Minerva grinned at him and shrugged. "I plan on having the building built by the time you have your degree. Your siblings will be your first pupils."

"Thank you Màthair," he said with overwhelming gratitude for the woman in his arms. He offered a mischievous grin before dipping her at the end of the song. The room filled with her musical laughter!
