Minerva opened her eyes and started to panic somewhat. She was laying on a mattress that was floating in the middle of a loche. A chuckle sounded beside of her. She turned to the right and saw Arwen laying next to her. "Where are we," Minerva asked, calming down at the sight her love.

"Limbo," Arwen whispered as she drew Minerva in her arms. She pressed a kiss to Minerva's forehead and sighed contently. "I have missed moments like this with you."

Minerva snuggled closer to her wife and breathed in her scent. "I have missed you Arwen," Minerva replied tenderly. "I love you so very much!"

"I know my muse," Arwen replied with a loving smile. "I shall miss you when you return to the land of the living."

"I don't want to," she confessed. "I want to lay here with you forever."

Arwen chuckled at her wife. "You would be bored within minutes," she pointed out. "You must go back. If you stay, Robbie and Hermione will be devastated. Severus would be crushed with guilt at not only losing you but your twins as well. Would you really deny him the chance to be a father?"

Minerva shuddered slightly at the mere thought of losing them. She would move heaven and hell to protect her family. Her hand moved to her belly and caressed it. She smiled when she felt the fluttering within. Her babes were safe and sound in their cocoon. "I wouldn't," Minerva answered. "I love Severus deeply."

Arwen smiled at her. "I know," she confessed. "I am grateful you found happiness. Severus is a good man and will be a great father. I must confess I am beyond thrilled he stepped up for Robbie and Hermione. He sees them as his children, not just his stepchildren."

Minerva was suprised at that. She hadn't really thought about the way Severus interacted with her children before. They had just became a family! "I shall protect our family," she whispered emotionally.

Arwen smiled brilliantly at her and kissed her heatedly. "I know you will," she uttered. "I love you so muse. I want you to live well and be ridiculously happy."

"I shall my dearest Arwen," Minerva whispered as she closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

"It has been five days and she hasn't woken yet," Severus said desperately to Poppy Pomfrey.

"Her heart stopped Severus," she reminded him. "Her body has been through a severe trauma. Her sleep is rejuvenating her body and her magic. Need I remind you, she is recovering not just for herself but for the babies as well? You very nearly lost all three of them."

"I know," he sobbed brokenly as he dropped his head down to hide his tears. He was painfully aware of how close he came to losing his love and their children.

"Màthair will wake up soon," Hermione reassured him as she grasped his hand. Robbie, Hermione and Harry refused to leave Minerva's side. Severus had reluctantly conjured cots for them in the corner. "I can sense her magic," she revealed. "I felt her break the binds she placed on her own magic. She tore them down right before she blasted Dumbledore away from her physically. Her magic has steadily gotten stronger in the past couple of days."

"You can sense it," Poppy asked suprised. That was unheard of! The mediwitch moved towards Minerva and scanned her with her wand. "Her magic has strengthen. Her core appears to be replenished."

"Why would you ever doubt Hermione's knowledge on something?" questioned a roughen voice.

"Minerva," Severus cried happily as he moved closer to her. "Thank Merlin you are awake."

"I'm fine," she whispered hoarse as she sat up with Severus' assistance.

"Here," Poppy said as she offered a glass of cold water to Minerva. Minerva drank it greedily and sighed as the fire in her throat lessened.

"Thank you," she said gratefully. "The babies," she inquired.

"Stable," Poppy answered. "You nearly miscarried them but thankfully you were rushed to me quickly enough. You will be highly restricted in activity until they recover from this trauma."

"Understood," she whispered emotionally as her hand rubbed her belly lovingly. Her entire belly rippled in response. She laughed happily at the feeling and quickly pulled Severus' hand to her belly so he could feel it as well.

"Amazing," he whispered as his eyes widened and a grin made its way to his face. "Our sweet babies," he said as he caressed her belly gently.

Minerva put down the Daily Prophet and just stared wide-eyed at her family. It had broadcasted all of Albus' misdeeds throughout the entire paper. His love affair with Grindelwald and his birth of Arwen was discussed in great detail. His murder of his only child and his attempted murder of Minerva was printed and accompanied by images of his attack on Minerva. It told of her devoted protection of her children and of Harry from Albus' grasp.

"The fall out?" she inquired curiously.

"None," Sirius answered as he strolled through the door with Remus. "I just returned from the special Wizengamot session. Albus' trial was conducted today. Based on the memories Hermione and Harry provided to the DMLE, Albus was given Veritaserum for it."

Minerva stared at Sirius in suprise. "The Unbreakable vow?"

"I asked the questions the DMLE wanted answered while Albus was in his holding cell since I was the bonder of the vow," Severus responded with a rare grin. "The DMLE read the manuscript of the questioning at the trial and therefore bypassed the unbreakable vow."

"That's ingenious," she commented amazed by the lengths her family went to. "What was the verdict?"

"Guilty," Remus offered with a grin. "The darker houses voted right away while the lighter ones followed Lord Black here. By the way, he managed to get pushed into the Chief Warlock position by Amelia Bones."

"How did she manage that?" Minerva asked suprised.

"The she devil explained I had been so wronged by the system. I would naturally be a great fit to avoid the same mistake from happening again," Sirius answered with a pout. "Why must everyone try to make me responsible?"

Minerva snorted in amusement at that. "Why Lord Black," she said properly. "One would assume a person of your upbringing would immediately be able to lead the masses to where they need to go!"

Harry, Hermione and Robbie laughed loudly at the wounded look on Sirius' face. He whined playfully, "But Min, I don't want to be responsible. I want to live life to the fullest and do whatever crosses my mind!"

"That is out of the question Lord Black," she answered with a grin.
