Carly was shocked by the change in Andrew's eyes. She had no idea demons could even make another supernatural creature their meat suit. She thought it was impossible and yet she was wrong.

She tried to keep her cool with a grimace. "Has Andrew been the one killing people or was it you all along?"

"Oh, Michael had nothing to do with those killings. That was all me," The demon smiled.

"Why the hell would you do that? Why kill Emily and all those other women while pretending to be a werewolf?" Carly asked.

"I didn't kill Emily, that was on Andrew. He was heartbroken, so much so he tried to make a deal with me to take his pain away and so I did. With me in control he is in a peaceful rest, no longer feeling the pain of accidentally killing his fiance."

"But why kill those other women? What was the point?" Carly asked.

"Because I was hoping you and Dean would come to investigate," The demon smiled.

"You killed all those women in hopes we would come to town? Why do so much just to pique our interest?" Carly asked.

"Because I wanted you."

Carly stood there with confusion and surprise. The demon's words made no sense. What the hell was going on?

"Why would a demon go through so much trouble to get me?" Carly asked with crossed arms. "Sounds like a lot of work for someone as unimportant as myself."

The demon slowly shook its head. "Oh, you are far from unimportant. In fact, I would say you are one of the most important pieces on the chess board. Your boyfriend Sam…"

"Ex-boyfriend," Carly pointed out.

"Your EX-boyfriend Sam broke the last seal and released Lucifer from his cage. Sam has abilities that outmatch everyone, well, aside from...you. You are just as powerful, if not more so. Lucifer finds you intriguing and would love a one on one chat. You have no idea what kind of evil is inside you," The demon explained.

"You mean the demon blood coursing through my veins? Pretty sure I know all about it," Carly mocked.

"Oh, it's worse than that. Why don't I show you?"

The demon appeared in front of Carly before she had the chance to react. It placed it's hands on the sides of her face, it's fingertips on her temples.

"What are you...ahhhhhhhhh!" Carly screamed.

It felt as if a fire was lit upon her brain. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head as she saw flashes of death, blood, and destruction. Right before he stopped, one last image ingrained in her mind. Bodies were scattered all around and she was at the center.

Her vision was blurred and spinning. It took her a few seconds to focus, but she got her vision to clear. Her breathing slowed as she looked up at the demon.

"What the hell was that?" Carly asked, almost hyperventilating.

"That was your future," The demon said.

"I'll never have that future, I won't allow it," she spat.

The demon shook his head. "It's in your blood, Carly. There's nothing you can do to stop it. Some things are just fate."

"There's no such thing as fate."

"There's also no such thing as demons." It said with a sigh. "But I think I'll have to use some force to get through to you."

"Are you planning to kill me?"

"If I killed you, that would go against what Lucifer desires and getting on his bad side is not something I wish to experience. I don't plan to kill you, I plan to get you to see things our way."

The demon took a step closer, pulling his sleeve up. As it did, it lifted its arm into the air and took a blade from it's belt. It placed the blade against It's flesh and cut deep into it's wrist, blood pooling to the surface.

Carly's heart raced in her chest as she took a step backward, closing her eyes and reopening them with a deep breath. "I'm not Sam. You can't tempt me with your blood."

"Not yet I can't, but once you truly have a taste, you may just change your mind," The demon said.

"Sam's already tried. It won't work," Carly insisted.

"Well, we'll just have to test that theory, now won't we?"

Its eyes turned black as its smile widened. The demon stepped forward and went to grab for Carly's shoulders, but she ducked just in time for it to miss. As she did, she took the blade in her hand and slashed across the demon's back.

The demon gasped as it shot around to face Carly, anger flaring up in its eyes. It lunged forward, Carly getting some deep cuts into its arms.

Yet, those cuts didn't keep the demon back for long. It lunged again and this time it knocked the knife out of Carly's hands, throwing her backward into the wall. Her back collided with the drywall, leaving a giant dent behind her.

Her feet hit the floor as the demon grabbed her by the throat, slamming her back into the same spot on the wall. When she was stuck in place, it began moving its cut-up arm toward her mouth. When it got close, the demon screeched in pain.

Carly and the demon looked down to find Dean had slashed the demon's ankle with the blade Carly had dropped. It let go of Carly as its attention turned on Dean. Carly noticed the demon blade in the bag beside the bed as the demon picked Dean up by his throat, throwing him backward out the door into the bushes outside.

When it turned back around to handle Carly, she tackled the demon onto its back as she plunged the blade into its chest. Not deep enough to kill the demon but damn close. She straddled it as she kept her grip on the blade.

"You won't win, Carly. Another demon will come to take my place and this will happen again and again until you give in," The demon gasped.

"Well, then I'll just have to keep on killing you bastards," Carly said.

"He won't stop until he has you," The demon admitted.

Carly was getting frustrated. "What does Lucifer want with me so damn bad?"

"You'll just have to ask him yourself."

The demon grabbed at Carly as she lost her patience. She tightened her grip on the blade's handle and pushed it deep into the demon's heart. As it flashed, it used the last of its strength to throw Carly across the room into a nightstand. She hit her head in the same spot as the other night and pain flashed through her body as she collided with the floor.

Consciousness left her as the demon went limp. As everything went dark, Carly found herself in the living room of her old home once again, but this felt much more sinister than the others. Her mother was sitting in the same chair Carly had found her in the first dream, turning to face Carly with that same loving smile and yet it felt off somehow.

"You can tell something is different this time around, can't you?" she asked.

Carly nodded slowly. "Yes, but why?"

"Because we need to talk."

That uneasy feeling in Carly's gut strengthened when her mother's smile went from loving to sadistic. She rose up from the chair as her eyes lit up bright red, turning her head to the side as her neck cracked.

Carly stumbled backward, tripping over her own foot and collapsing onto her butt. She began to crab walk backwards away from her mother until her back hit the wall behind her. Carly's mother stopped in front of Carly, crouching down so they were eye to eye.

"Who...are y...you?" Carly stuttered.

"I think you already know…"

Her mother looked down toward her feet, dipping her head as she did. When she looked back up, her mother was no longer in front of Carly but a man. He was wearing a green T-shirt, a dark green shirt hanging loose, blue jeans, and dark shoes. He had messy, short blond hair and light blue eyes that looked toward Carly with interest.

Carly stuttered once more as she tried to speak over her heart pounding in her chest. "L…Lucifer."

"The one and only."

He smiled at her recognition, the type of smile that made every hair on your body stand on end. The man before her didn't look dangerous, but she could feel the power radiating off of him and knew this wasn't her imagination. This was real and that scared her more than anything.

"Were you pretending to be my mother this entire time?" Carly asked, trying to sound brave when she was anything but.

He nodded slowly. "Indeed I was. I was hoping you would grow more accustomed to these dreams before I revealed myself to you, but I was growing...impatient."

"How are you doing this?" Carly asked, meeting his steely gaze. "I didn't give you permission."

"I'm not possessing you, Carly. I need permission to enter your vessel as any other angel or demon. I am merely at the door to your mind, just far enough in the door to speak to you rather than have any sort of control, I promise," Lucifer admitted.

"What is it you want?" Carly asked.

"I want you. I want all of you…"
