The first snowfall of the year was gently falling on Ever After, and it had one blonde in a cheery mood.

"I love watching the snowfall," said Apple as she stood by a window to her and Raven's room looking out at the blanket of pure white that covered the ground.

"Aren't you cold standing there like that?" asked Raven who was sitting on her bed, wearing three layers as she was ready to go out for class.

"No, not really," said Apple while closing the curtains.

"There's not much of a draft from it," she said. A flash of light then appeared between the two which caught Apple by surprise.

"Raven, I need your help again," said a fairy in a plum-colored dress who appeared from the light.

"Not happening, Sweety Plum," said Raven while hopping off of her bed.

"Please, you know that I get sick really easily this time of year, and you did a good job last year," said Sweety Plum while clinging onto the witch's arm and looking at her with pleading eyes.

"What did she do last year?" asked a confused Apple.

"Nothing," said Raven while pulling her arm free of Sweety Plum's grip.

"I have to get to class, if you tell her anything about last year I'll hex you to oblivion," said Raven to Sweety Plum, her eyes glowing in order to tell her that she's not kidding. The witch then left the room, leaving the two standing by themselves.

"Guess I should get going too," said Sweety Plum.

"Raven may hex you," said Apple while placing a hand on Sweety Plum's shoulder which instantly made the girl grow a little concerned.

"But I can have you banished from the country entirely," she said with a smile that worried Sweety Plum even more.

"What… what did you want to know?" asked Sweety Plum.

"I want to know what exactly Raven did for you last year," said Apple.

"Alright, I'll tell you, but I'm doing this against my will," said a nervous Sweety Plum.
