Falling into Darkness
The light is fading
The doors are closing
Leaving me in the dark
Closing me off from the light
I feel cold, wrapping my arms around myself
But nothing can stop the dark creatures
The dark creatures of the night
Stealing away my heart
Taking me to a battleground
Where I find myself there
I'm the enemy
I kill anything
I hate you

The darkness creeps along my arms
Cutting me with sorrow and pain
Hurting me, like I hurt so many others
I'm like this darkness
This darkness that took everything I loved
The people, the place, the world
Instead I close myself off from society
Like the way those doors closed on me
My heart burn with regret, for what I did
But I can't change the past
Only make the future
Is that why I was created?
Is that why I'm here?
To cause death and destruction to the places I touch
To the people I love
Or is it destiny?
