"What should we call it?" EXE asked Noire and Plutia. Noire's red eyes stared at the newly constructed Basilicom. Twin tails blowing in the soft wind. "Ummm, I dooon't knooww," Plutia yawned. EXE chuckled, his orange hair slicked back. He's wearing a maroon, pinstriped suit.
"Well, this is Plutia's nation, she should name it," Noire said matter of factly. "Hmmm, maybe, Planeptune?" Plutia blurted. "Why Planeptune?" EXE asked and Plutia gave a soft smile. "Because, wasn't that the name of the village?" Plutia asked.
EXE woke up from that dream. It was a happy memory enternally tainted. What Plutia had become, it sickened EXE. He put his hopes into her, and she stepped on them. Still, it wasn't all her fault. Everyone, including EXE was at fault. For what EXE did, there was no justification.
For weeks Uzume has gone out for more quests. She has been donating a lot of her money, and her name is becoming more passed around in Zero District. EXE went down the stairs to see the everyone eating and mingling. "Where are you going EXE?" Ms. Fami asked, the old lady held baby B-Sha.
"Out," EXE replied briskly. "Out? What about the guards? Uzume will be sad if you're caught," Ms. Fami pointed out. "I know that, which is why, i'm sticking to the underground and rooftops," EXE said before walking away.
"Hey! Dude!" Inker called out as he ran to EXE. "I got the maps of the rooftops and underground made for you!" Inker said, handing EXE two pieces of dirty paper. EXE's eyes glowed, as he scanned the papers' contents and uploaded the map to his brain.
"Thank you," EXE said as he left the backdoor. His eyes critically viewed the alleyway. Before he opened a manhole, and climbed down into it. Closing the manhole as he went in. He jumped down, and EXE was in the sewers.
His pace was leisurely and guarded. EXE is here for a reason. 'Uzume, I might have to get my hands dirty for your pure dream,' He sighed. He's no stranger to wetwork, having beaten up of some of Plutia's aggressors when she first started as a CPU. Now, he's doing it again. EXE is a sinful man, but he accepts it and luckily will never revel in it.
"Hey! Asshole! The fuck you doing down here?!" A thug yelled to EXE. He and four others are standing guard. "I'm looking for Rockstar, where the hell is she?" EXE asked, his voice cold and razor sharp. He's not here to mess around.
"Why would you want the boss? She's not seeing anybody! Turn around before you get killed!" He warned, readying a crowbar. EXE just stood there, and held his hand out in front of him.
Holographic circles went over his hand to his forearm. A cannon appeared over his hand. It was shaped like a mechanical, black wolf. It's eyes glowed as dark, magenta lightning sparked across it. This is EXE's weapon, the Gospel Canon. "N-No fucking way! It's EXE!" Another thug sputtered out.
A ball of energy charged in the mouth of the Gospel Cannon. It shot out of the Gospel Cannon, and vaporized the crowbar in one thug's hand. Then, he aimed at the other four. Taking out their weapons with one shot. All of this happened in three seconds.
The thugs collectively fell to their asses, staining their pants in the sewer water. EXE, feeling pent up after hiding away for months, waited for them to get up. He dismissed the Gospel Cannon, so now all of them have no 'weapons' so to speak.
"Anybody feeling lucky?" EXE asked, his face remained stoic. His voice was more vicious and condescending. "You bastard!" One thug stood up, along with the other four. He ran at EXE, who effortlessly side stepped the charging punch.
One thug tried to attack while he was focused on the thug who face planted from the momentum of his failed charge. EXE turned faster than humanly possible. He was slugged across the face. However, besides a small jolt, he felt no pain. The thug's fingers were bent and twisted.
EXE drove his robotic fist into the man's stomach. Causing him to crumble to the ground, and is knocked out. EXE heard the sound of a gun cocking. He held his arm up, blocking the bullet. The bullet folded, and fell into the water. Not even a dent on EXE's arm.
EXE tilted his head to avoid another bullet. Then, as the thug unloaded the magazine towards EXE. He became a brown blur. He grabbed the gun, and pushed the thug down, disarming him. EXE, ejected the magazine and any remaining bullets before crushing the gun. Letting the pieces fall into the water to further establish dominance.
Three thugs rushed him, one behind, one on the left, the last on the right. EXE turned around, and put the charging thug in a headlock. EXE then kneed the thug, and spun him around, knocking out the other two. Then he threw him into the thug, who's gun EXE crushed. Taking out four in one fell swoop.
The last remaining thug begged for mercy. EXE dropped a pack of Healing Grass. Before kicking the thug in the ribs, taking him out. EXE positioned the thugs so they aren't drowning. While he is willing to kill, he'll try to avoid it if he can.
"She's beaten, Plutie, please don't do it," EXE begged, as Iris Heart was about to punish one of the members of the Seven Sages, Arfoire. Who was holding a child named IF hostage. EXE's suit is scuffed and dirty from the adventure and battle that happened. "Ex, just let her do what she wants," Purple Heart sighed.
"What? No! This isn't right! We shouldn't be doing this!" EXE exclaimed, looking at the rest of the CPUs for any type of backup. "Noire.." EXE looked at Black Heart, his other friend for validation. Black Heart looked between him and Sadie. Before shaking her head.
"Be a good boy and watch, or you can join her" Iris Heart threatened EXE, like he was any other enemy. His face had turned into one of horror and betrayal. That his best friends, Noire and Plutia, are acting like this. 'CPUs, they just take and take,' EXE clenched his fists as Arfoire was punished. 'We were doing just fine without them,' EXE's growled in his mind.
EXE was now in the basement of a building. He dragged an unconscious thug by the hair, and threw him at the feet of two thugs. They opened fire with their automatic rifles. EXE brought out the Gospel Cannon and fired two shots. Vaporizing the bullets and the hands of the guards who fired them.
They howled in pain, as the cauterized stumps of their hands hissed and popped. Steam rose out from the stumps. EXE's eyes glowed red, and he shoulder charged one into the wall. Creating a crater, and knocking him out. EXE then kicked the other guard in the stomach, knocking him out when he impacted the wall.
EXE jumped onto the railing of stairs, and up to the next floor. Men pointed guns at him, and EXE exhaled through his nose in annoyance. His Gospel Cannon flared up and the men opened fire at the Super Criminal Cyborg. He held up his arms to cover his face. The bullets sparking off his body, crumbling and falling to the floor one after the other. His already tattered cloak has been torn to shreds.
He ripped off the remains of the cloak. He pointed the Gospel Cannon at some guys. Then opened fire. Energy balls vaporizing weapons and, parts of the goons. He jumped to the next floor. A grunt ran at him from behind, knife raised to strike.
EXE whipped around, and the jaw of the Gospel Cannon clamped down on the man's arm. He struggled and dropped the knife as the Gospel Cannon bit down further. EXE let him go, then gave a strong punch to the temple. He fell to the floor, unconscious.
EXE observed the fallen grunts. All their weapons are either on the ground or turned to ashes. Some have died because of their wounds, the rest are alive and critically burnt. He jumped to the next floor.
It appears he's taken care of the guards. He scanned for any lifeforms. Finding only one signature in a room down the hall of the building. He went to the door. 'Rockstar, I won't let you have a stranglehold on Planeptune anylonger, for Uzume!' EXE readied himself and kicked down the door.
A man yelped and fell to the floor, on his arse. "You're not Rockstar. Where is she? She should've been here, checking in on her operations," EXE wondered in confusion, he scanned over and over. Besides the guards he took down, and the quivering coward before him. There was no one else.
The coward was holding his phone to his ear. Then he held it out, and EXE snatched the phone. He put it up to his artificial ears and asked who was on the phone. "So, you're the one who came to my property and fucked up my men," a voice came from the phone.
It was heavily accented, making it hard to understand. It was coarse, growly, and wrath is coming from every word. Yet, this was also clearly a woman. "Rockstar, you fled like a coward instead of fighting till your last breath," EXE taunted stoically. His lack of emotion in his taunt made Rockstar even more infuriated.
"I didn't think that the Traitor himself would show up. Before I could have that girl's head impaled on the antenna of my car," Rockstar said and EXE kicked the coward who handed him the phone unconscious. "Who are you talking about?" EXE asked, hoping it wasn't who he thinks it is. "She's been getting popular, doing charity and shit. Moving in on my fucking business. A business that I busted my fucking ass for!" Rockstar replied, her voice teerting on cold fury and red hot rage.
"By some miracle, you come out of hiding and started gunning for me. Right as that girl is starting to make waves. She important to ya?" Rockstar asked. The phone in EXE's hand cracked as his grip tightened.
"I'll take that as a yes. Most in my position would blackmail you or some shit. That's not gonna happen. I'm gonna grind you up and use you to make my boys new guns! I'll force your friend to watch and then cut her to pieces and hang her fucking body off a lamp post!! Then everyone will see what happens when you fuck with my business!!" Rockstar roared.
"See you in hell, EXE," Rockstar snarled before hanging up. EXE's fist clenched and the phone was turned into a pile of scrap. He left the office, and jumped to the ground floor. He then went to the sewers in the basement.
EXE's feet barely touched the water as he sped back to the tennant he and Uzume lived in. He crawled out of the manhole and burst inside. Everyone jumped and looked at EXE. His normally cold and calm face is twisted in rage. "Where's Uzume?" EXE asked and no one answered.
EXE felt his anger leave him, he feels, fear. 'No! No! They can't have gotten to her already!' EXE couldn't believe that possibility. Uzume, she has to come back. She just has to.
Luckily, his prayers have been answered. Uzume limped inside the tennant. EXE ran to her and kneeled down. She was beaten up and bruised. "Exsy, I took care, of the meanies," Uzume said exhausted and she fell unconscious. He picked up Uzume and held her close.
He can't lose someone else. Not again, especially when it was his fault.
EXE's hands were cuffed behind his back. His suit torn, his normally slicked back hair messy and greasy. He was battered and forced to look at his mistake. A girl stood in front of him. Her body is voluptuous and plush. Her hair is a pale yellow, quite long, and some of it styled in a tail on top of her head. Her eyes glowed orange with a power symbol in them. She has a skin tight, white suit that shows off her body, and she smiled happily.
"Hi mister! I'm Yellow Heart!" She chirped, and EXE's face is one of revulsion. He screwed up, this wasn't supposed to happen. He was stupid, so stupid. EXE can't trust anyone. Not his friends, or even these supposed revolutionaries, the Seven Sages. He's all alone, and it was all his fault. This the karma he deserved for kidnapping a child and handing her over to a group no better than the CPUs.
EXE watched as Uzume's chest rose and fall. She has been patched up by a doctor who went bankrupt and lost his business. 'Uzume, stay strong, Planeptune needs you, I need you,' EXE's faith and desire for her safety is flowing into her, Share Energy. His self loathing, fear, and anger at Rockstar is also flowing into Uzume, Negative Energy.
Inside of a dream, Uzume was in some weird apocalyptic world. The sky has been broken, and is a strange purple and green color. The land is cracked and dead, and distant cities have been mostly destroyed. Uzume is standing in front of a ravine.
"Planeptune," Uzume suddenly spoke, her mouth moving on its own. Her voice and mannerisms being darker, colder and soft. Like a dangerous lullaby trying to make you fall asleep into a never ending slumber. "That is the name of your... no, the name of MY nation," Uzume said before her body turned around. While the gathered people were familiar. One girl caught Uzume's eye.
This girl, she looks just like Uzume
