To love is to embrace life. To love fully is to embrace both
death and life.
To love someone is to accept their whole. To accept their faults, their strengths and their quirks.
Yugi first met his Yami when he put together the puzzle. His Yami was cocky, arrogant and rash. Yugi was meek, submissive and lonely. These two completed each other.
Then they went through trials, where they learned just how much they cared for the other. How it was impossible to survive without the other.
And then they had to duel. Then they realized how much they loved each other. How it had been such an unspoken, underlying part of their relationship. Yugi didn't want to beat his other. Didn't want to cause him pain.
But he did. Because he loved him.
