They say that New York is a great city, but New York has a good crime rate. Lots of muggers and thugs are around there. The perfect place for two people from the past.
"We are here, Jackal." Two people jumped out the back of a truck after hiding out in it. These two people are ones Nashi has dealt with before: Jackal and Mard Geer. "Mr. Jackal, welcome to New York." Mard Geer claimed.
"Oh yeah, baby!" Jackal said. "A fitting city for us. Too bad Kyoka and Tempester couldn't make it with us."
"Perhaps, but our escape would have been compromised with more people." Mard Geer said. "No worries. We'll go back for them eventually. We just need to make a few preparations. Let's go." The two criminals started to make their way through the city. They managed to escape from jail and are up to no good again. Normally, being in such a big city, it would be rather difficult to meet with someone from the past. It might not be as hard as you think. Nashi and those two were walking down the same street in a crowd of people. Nashi was looking at a map and tried to figure out where she should go. They walked closer and closer to each other, but they ended up passing each other without even noticing it. Mard Geer thought he did see something as he looked back, but he couldn't quite see Nashi through the crowd.
"What's wrong?" Jackal asked.
"I thought I saw something familiar." Mard Geer said as he kept walking. New York might be a big city, but there's still a chance of running into someone from the past. If those two find out that Nashi is in New York and alone, she could be in real danger.

Miami Airport
After realizing that Nashi was missing, Lucy and Natsu went to security to file a report on a missing child.
"When was the last time you saw your daughter?" The officer asked.
"At the airport." Natsu said.
"Did you make sure she get on the plane?" The officer asked.
"I tried to, but we were in a hurry and the flight had to take off." Lucy said. "They told me I had to board, so I just went with it."
"Has the child been left alone before?" The officer asked. The two of them were a little hesitant to answer that.
"Actually... Actually, yes." Natsu said. "She was left alone last year. I guess we might be starting a tradition or something. Knock on wood, right?" Natsu said as he knocked on the desk with him and Lucy having a laugh. The officer was not laughing.
"We left her home alone by accident last year." Lucy said. The officer was looking at them with a questionable face and made both of them a little anxious.
"It's unlikely she would be anywhere else except the airport you came from." The officer said. "We'll get in contact with the police there and see if they can find her there." That's what they thought and like to believe, but if only they knew the truth of where she really was.

Nashi
Nashi continued to travel around New York on her own. She soon found herself in Central Park and was having a walk around the place. As much fun as she was having, she still needed to find a place for her to sleep. As she walked through the park, she soon spotted a sign that was pointing to a place called the Plaza Hotel.
"Plaza Hotel?" Nashi questioned as she thought that sounded familiar. She took her recorder and tried playing it back.
"Looking for a place to stay? Come down to the Plaza Hotel in New York, one of the best hotels in New York with a rating of five stars." That sounded like a nice place for Nashi. She also had access to her father's money. She started making her way through the park to the hotel until a pigeon flew by her and nearly hit her.
"Crazy bird." Nashi said. She watched the bird until it landed down near someone. Nashi could see there were a ton of pigeons near a woman. She turned to Nashi, but Nashi easily got scared by her and ran off. Nashi kept running until she soon found herself at the hotel. She was able to step inside and saw the place looked incredible. It almost looked like a palace. "Wow..." Nashi loved the place, but she knew she was going to need a plan. She was aware they weren't going to let a child check in. She looked around until she spotted a payphone on the wall. "Excuse me." She stopped a stranger for a moment.
"Yes?"
"Is that a phone over there?" Nashi said as she spotted the payphone.
"Yes. You just put a quarter in and dial the number."
"Thank you." Nashi said. Now that she has a phone, she just needs a number to dial. She looked around the lobby and soon found a card for the hotel with the number on it. Once she grabbed that, she could put her plan into action. She grabbed her recorder and pressed record. "Hello, my name is Natsu Dragneel. I would like to book one of those rooms called a suite for the next few nights. I will also be paying through credit card." Once she recorded herself, she altered the sound around to make her sound like a grown man. After that, she was able to get a quarter and called the hotel's number.
"Plaza Hotel. How may I help you?" Once someone answered, Nashi hit play and was able to book herself a room. Her little plan seemed to have worked as the person on the other end believed she spoked to the real Natsu. All that was left was for her to speak with the reception desk. She walked on over to the desk, but she did not escape the sight of the concierge.
"Hello." Nashi said as she reached the reception desk. The receptionist looked around and didn't see anyone. "Down here." She looked over the desk and spotted Nashi.
"May I help you?" The receptionist asked.
"I'm checking in for Natsu Dragneel, my father." Nashi said.
"Your father is letting his daughter check in?" The receptionist questioned.
"He and my mother are outside making business calls." Nashi said. "They said I can check in as long as I use my father's card." She took out the card and hoped she would take it.
"I'm still confused. Why would your parents let their daughter check in?" The receptionist asked.
"Because they have to take some important calls and I don't want to wait out in the cold." Nashi said. "Are you trying to chase away people who want to stay at this fine hotel in one of your finest rooms?" The receptionist found this all very strange, but Nashi is making a convincing story.

Miami Airport
"She's not there." The officer said. He finished checking and Nashi doesn't appear to be at the airport. This isn't good for Natsu or Lucy. "We'll keep you posted if we find anything. Do you have a photo of the girl we can use?"
"I do in my wallet." Natsu said as he reached for it until he realized something. "I don't have my wallet. My wallet is in my bag. Nashi had my bag! She was looking for batteries!"
"Did you have credit or debit cards?" The officer asked.
"Yeah..." Natsu said.
"If you can give us the info we need, we can track down your daughter when and if she uses them." The officer said.
"No... That might not work. I don't think Nashi knows how to use a credit card." Lucy said.

The Plaza Hotel
Apparently, Nashi figured out. She was able to check in the hotel using her father's card and managed to convince the receptionist in.
"Here you go, but be sure to tell your parents that we like to talk to one of them when they get the chance." The receptionist said. Nashi acted like she understood and agreed. She's quite the actress.
"Is everything okay?" The concierge asked as he came over.
"Yes, Mr. Von Graham. I was just checking Miss Dragneel and her family in." The receptionist said.
"Splendid." The concierge said. "Thomas!" He called for the bellman to come over.
"Yes, Mr. Von Graham?" The bellman asked.
"Could you show this young lady to her room?" Von Graham said as he gestured to Nashi.
"Certainly." Thomas said.
"Excellent." Von Graham said. When Nashi turned away, he whispered more to the bellman. "Keep an eye on her." He already suspected something was wrong. He understood and showed Nashi the way to her room. The bellman showed the way to the suite Nashi managed to get. She stepped inside and she was amazed with how the place looked. She can see why this place is ranted with five stars.
"We do hope you enjoy your stay." Thomas said as he rubbed his fingers together indicating he wanted a tip.
"Oh..." Nashi said as she reached inside the bag. "Here you go." She said as she placed a piece of gum in his hands. So much for a tip. As for Nashi, she had a feeling she was going to enjoy her stay.

Mard Geer and Jackal
Mard Geer and Jackal were making their plan. Now that those two managed to escape, the two of them needed a plan on what they're going to do now.
"So, what's the plan, Mardy?" Jackal asked.
"We need a way to get enough cash for fake passports and to help Kyoka and Tempester to get out." Mard Geer said. Jackal can understood that. That's why he was about to do something stupid. He spotted a nice looking purse that a lady had and tried to grab it. When he did, the lady noticed and their eyes met.
"Hello." Jackal said as he tried acting with swagger, but the lady just slapped him across the face and walked away.
"Why did I have to be stuck with you?" Mard Geer complained about Jackal's stupidity. "Listen, I believe I found a way to get what we're looking for." He said as he pulled out a flyer and showed Jackal.
"A toy store?" Jackal questioned.
"Trust me." Mard Geer said.

Nashi
Nashi was having a fun time in the hotel. She ordered all the ice cream and food she could from room service, had the suite all to herself, and was enjoying a movie...a movie she shouldn't be watching. Right now, she was watching a scene where a lady was asking her man for forgiveness.
"Donny, please." A lady in the movie said.
"What's going on here?" Donny said.
"I came here to make amends. After all, it's me. I'm your sweet baby."
"I know it's you. You were here last night." Donny said. "You were here with my brother. You were smooching it up real good."
"I was not!" The lady said.
"Don't give me that. You've been smooching with everyone. G.L., Baby Linnie, Chuck, Seth, Cliff..."
"Yes, but they were all mistakes! You're the only one for me, baby."
"Okay. I believe you, but my little friend here doesn't." Donny said as he had a gun on him. "Now, get down on your knees and tell me you love me." The lady did just that.
"I love you."
"Come on! You can do better than that!" Donny said.
"I love you!"
"Okay. Maybe I am being unreasonable. That's why I'm going to give you until three to get you're lying, deceptive, filthy little toosh out of here!" Donny said. "One... Two..." That's right when he started shooting around like a madman. That's what caused Nashi to look away from the movie. "Merry Christmas you filthy animal." Nashi couldn't look anymore as she turned it off.
"Why does Gale's dad like these movies?" Nashi said. She was about to go to sleep when she heard the door open up. She moved quickly and looked to see. Von Graham was sneaking in. She knows that if he sees her alone, she's in real trouble. Luckily, she had a plan as she headed for the bathroom. Von Graham was looking around to find any proof against Nashi's claims. If he just sees her alone, he'll have what he needs. Suddenly, he heard water running from the bathroom. He quietly moved to the bathroom and opened up. He heard the shower running and heard humming that sounded like a woman, but made it only seem that way. When she opened the curtain, Nashi screamed like she saw Von Graham peeping. Von Graham felt like he was in trouble and backed away. That was when she used the recording of Laxus as she slid it across the floor when Graham wasn't looking.
"Get out of here, you little pervert, or I'll slap you silly!" She made it sound like her father was close by. Without questioning it, Von Graham ran out of there. Nashi laughed at her own little joke. That might keep him away for a while.
"Moron." Nashi said as turned off the water and was getting ready to go to bed. When she reached the bed, she dug around her father's bag to see what else she has. She's got plenty of money, and found his address book in it. She looked inside to see if there was anyone inside that could help her. Luckily, she found one person. "Uncle Zeref and Aunt Mavis live here! He might be able to help!" She'll have to go there at some point. When she dug around further, she spotted a photo of her and her family. Seeing that made her start missing her family. All the way in a Miami hotel, Lucy was feeling the same about her daughter. She's just hoping Nashi is safe and hopes to see her soon.
