"I assure you, we tried our best to handle the situation. We gave what the girl asked for and made her feel welcomed." Von Graham said. Natsu, Lucy, and everyone else made it to New York and arrived at the Plaza Hotel. They were told what happened while Nashi was in the hotel.
"How could you let a seven year old check into a hotel?" Natsu asked.
"The girl is quite an actress. She had a very convincing story." The receptionist said.
"What kind of idiots do you have working here?" Lucy said with annoyance.
"The finest in New York." The receptionist said.
"Then, you discovered she did had my card instead of her own." Natsu said.
"I discovered it. I attempted to speak with her about it." Von Graham said to sound like a big shot.
"You scared her off!" Natsu said. "You thought she was some sort of criminal! Instead of just talking to her about it, you scared her and she ran away!"
"It's Christmas Eve and thanks to you, our daughter is lost in one of the biggest cities in the world!" Lucy said.
"Could you just take our stuff and show all our friends to the room." Natsu said.
"Of course. I believe your daughter did book a suite." Von Graham said as he had Thomas and others help them out.
"Okay, I'm going to the police station to see if they know anything." Natsu told Lucy. "You stay here in case Nashi comes back."
"Natsu, Nashi is out there alone. There's no way I'm staying here." Lucy said.
"Ma'am, your daughter is lost in one of the biggest cities in the world." Von Graham quoted.
"Stay out of this!" Both of them said as they were still furious at the staff.
"I don't think it's a good idea for you to be running around New York." Natsu said as he tried to talk her out of this.
"I think if our daughter can do it, I can do it." Lucy said, but Natsu still wasn't sure. He kept trying to talk her out of it, but Lucy won't let him. "Natsu, our daughter is out there alone! The way I'm feeling, I'm more dangerous than anything out there! No mugger or murderer would dare mess with me!" Natsu could see he couldn't do a thing to stop her.
"Ma'am, with all due respect, there are tons of parasites out there and..." Von Graham tried stopping her, but she glared right at him like tiger about to pounce at her prey. Especially since she blames them for this mess. "Do bundle up. It's awfully cold out there."

The Toy Store
"Closing time!" Alvin Copper said as he was closing up his store. He had no idea what was about to happen to his store. After he locked it up, Mard Geer and Jackal made their move. They hid themselves in the store. Now that it was locked up, they could come out of hiding.
"Jackal, where are you?" Mard Geer said. Jackal hid himself in a giant dollhouse and came out by lifting the roof.
"All clear?" Jackal questioned.
"Indeed." Mard Geer said. Jackal stepped out and they both made their way to the money. They opened up all the registers and the chest that had all the money for the hospital. All that money was theirs now, or so they thought. Nashi made her way to the store and was getting ready to set her plan in action as she set a seesaw-like structure under the window.
"Haha! We really win! I told you there was nothing to worry about!" Jackal said as they basked in all the money. Nashi knocked on the window and got their attention.
"She's back!" Mard Geer said. Nashi took a camera and snapped a photo of them. "She took our picture!"
"How'd my hair look?" Jackal questioned. Nashi moved back and held up a rock with a piece of paper tied to it.
"No turning back now." Nash said as she was about to throw it.
"Nnnnnoooooo!" Mard Geer shouted as she threw the rock and it smashed right through the window with the alarm going off. The fun starts now. "I knew we should have taken care of her!" Mard Geer went at her. He jumped out the window and landed on the seesaw. "Oh no."
"Here I come!" Jackal called as he jumped out. When he did, he landed on the elevated side and caused Mard Geer to fly through the air. He ended up crashing on a car. That was just the first trap. "You okay, Mardy?" He asked as he tried to help him.
"Hey!" Nashi called to get their attention. "Smile!" She took another picture with Jackal actually smiling. Nashi ran off with Mard Geer getting up. They hurried after her and intended to finish what they started.

The House
Lucy arrived at Zeref's and Mavis' house. She had hope that Nashi or someone was there as she knocked on the door. When she couldn't get an answer, she just took off and continued her search for her daughter. She actually just missed Nashi as she arrived at the house and made her way inside through the ventilation shaft.
"This way! She went down this street!" Mard Geer said as they hurried after. They tried chasing after her, but they lost sight of her.
"Where'd she go now?" Jackal questioned.
"Up here, dummies!" Nashi called from the roof.
"Let's get her!" Jackal said as he was ready to storm in, but Mard Geer stopped her.
"Wait. Let's not underestimate her. She's smarter than she looks." Mard Geer said.
"But this isn't her house. She's running scared." Jackal said.
"Let's not chance it." Mard Geer said as he was being smart about this. "Oh my dear!"
"Yeah?!" Nashi said.
"As much as I would like to make you suffer for what you've put us through, I'm willing to make a deal!" Mard Geer said. "If you throw down your camera, we'll leave you alone! You'll never hear or see us again!"
"Promise?!" Nashi said.
"Promise!" Mard Geer said.
"Okay!" Nashi said, but she knew better than to trust them or let them just getaway again. She took a piece of stone on the roof and threw it down. It ended up hitting Jackal in the head. It knocked him down and threw him for a loop.
"How many fingers and I'm holding up?" Mard Geer asked as he held up two fingers.
"Numeroony..." Jackal said. Nashi didn't stop there as she threw down another stone. Mard Geer saw it and moved away with it hitting Jackal right in the chest.
"Is that all you got?!" Mard Geer said. Nashi threw down another one, but Mard Geer avoided it and it hit Jackal right in the stomach. He kept getting the worst of it. All it did for Mard Geer was make him mad. "I suppose we don't have a choice. You go through the front. I'll go around back." He made his way around back while Jackal tried to pull himself together.
"Let the fun begin." Nashi said as she couldn't wait to see what they do. Once Jackal pulled himself together, he made his way up the steps to the front door. Jackal arrived at the front door. He grabbed a hold of the doorknob, but he didn't realize something. He was standing right in a loop of rope. He grabbed the doorknob and tried pulling it open, but the knob came off and saw rope attached to it.
"What?" Jackal said. He pulled the rope as hard as he could, but the rope he was standing in was pulled inside. It pulled against his legs and caused him to fall back with him tumbling down the stairs. Mard Geer tried going around back to find another way in. He did spot an open window.
"I have her." Mard Geer said. He jumped up and grabbed the ladder to the fire escape to swing in, but he end up slipping because the ladder was coated in slime. He ended up falling and landed on his back. Back with Jackal, he got himself back up and readied himself.
"I'm coming for you kid!" Jackal shouted as he charged right for the door and tried to bust it down. He was able to push through the doors, but there was a giant hole that he fell right through and fell in the basement.
...
Mard Geer
Mard Geer was trying to find another way in. He looked around and spotted a door that leads inside. After carefully making sure the knob wasn't trapped, he saw that it was unlocked.
"Oh no. I'm scared now." Nashi said as she was just on the other side. Mard Geer thought he had her. He pushed the door open, but there was a small rope tied to the doorknob. When it was pulled down, it caused a hammer to fall right on Mard Geer's head and caused him to drop down. Nashi saw it happen and laughed as she moved to a different spot.
...
Jackal
Jackal pulled himself together after the fall. He managed to get back up and saw how much he fell.
"What a hole." Jackal said. He looked around for a way to get back up there. He spotted a rope that showed it went up to the first floor. He grabbed a hold of the rope to make sure it was secured. In actuality, it was tied to a filled sack. When Jackal thought he had it, he jumped on it tried to climb down, but he ended up pulling the sack down. He looked up and saw it coming down and it crashed on his head with powder getting all over him. "Should have seen that coming."
...
Mard Geer
After recovering from his head injury, Mard Geer got back up and tried looking for Nashi. He tried moving around carefully to not set off another trap. He wondered where she was, but it was dark and he couldn't see much. He reached for a switch to a light bulb, but the light detonated over him. It gave him a good scare and he frantically patted himself to not catch on fire.
...
Jackal
Jackal was still in the basement and tried to get the powder off him. He looked around for anything he could use. He soon spotted a sink and figured he could clean himself. However, Nashi had something else in stored for him. As he reached for the handles on the sink and grabbed them...
"Hi." Nashi said as she showed herself. Before Jackal could do anything, she flipped a switch to an electric box that was connected to the sink. Jackal began to get electrocuted from him holding on the sink. While he was being electrocuted, Nashi made a run for it. Jackal fought through the electrical current and was able to let go.
"Get back here!" Jackal called as he chased after her. The two of them went up the stairs, but Nashi weakened one of the stairs. When he stepped on it, it broke and he almost fell through. He struggled to get back up with Nashi staring down at him.
"Don't you know a kid always wins against two idiots?" Nashi taunted and ran for it.
"Mard! She's heading up stairs!" Jackal called. Mard Geer heard him and spotted Nashi running up the stairs.
"I have you now!" Mard Geer called as he went after her. Jackal was able to pull himself up and ran up the stairs. However, the two of them ended up crashing against each other. Sometimes, Nashi doesn't even need to do anything.
