Chapter 4

AN-Now I really don't have much to say. There has been a pretty massive timeskip since the last chapter. I really can't find a way to phrase this. Whatever is happening in Flames of Hope happened, But with a twist hero ya know because Luna was killed. I have not finished the Dangerous Gift yet as it is literally impossible to get from the library, so please do not bag me in the reviews for inaccuracy. Also why do the Nightwings just up and leave their old kingdom when Darkstalker is turned into Peacemaker. Why not have someone who would lead it right. This is the one thing Darkstalker did good. It just seems strange why the prideful nightwings just lay down and submit to rainwings. Then again the rainwings in Darkstalker's time were much more powerful. I want a winglet on how the rainwings turned from the most feared tribe in Pyrrhia to the laziest. Ok my rant is over.

It had been a year since Moon and Secretkeeper had moved to the night kingdom, and things had been going fairly normal since the Pantalin dragons had restored peace in their continent. With Cricket, Blue, Luna, and Sundew gone in the JMA massacre it was up to Queen Tsunami who had been with Pantalin dragons when they had formulated their plan to help the rest of Pantala to defeat the othermind. Now all of the leaders would meet on an island halfway between continents to discuss tribe relations. Moon was now waiting for Darkstalker to return from said meeting, which seemed to always dread. Moon was waiting by the entrance to the palace waiting for him to come back and tell her everything that had happened. It was always funny to hear about what had gone on.

"Your back," Moon called out as she watched Darkstalker, who due to difficulty navigating the Palace had decided to shrink himself down.

"Yes, yes, this one has been most frustrating."

"What happened?" Moon asked

"First off Snowfall did not show up as expected. The one thing that was good about Glacier is she always showed up. But now Snowfall is just shutting up the icewings from going anywhere. The whole tribe could be dead and we would not even know. Then Glory suggested that there should be some sort of new Jade Mountain academy for both continents to enjoy."

"That sounds like an amazing idea!"

"Yes, but the after Glory suggested that we were all subjected to lectures about how evil and bad animus magic is from Tsunami. Then we got into a debate about how things like my scroll actually protected dragons from losing their soul. That's why the Nightwing animus registry exists. Not to mention the mandatory animus tests."

"What about the school?"

"We finally agreed on a treaty. It would open and every tribe who wanted students to learn at it had to supply some funding. Of course with the help of the sandwings and the nightwings we will be able to have many more students than the first Jade Mountain. We are planning to build on one of the bigger islands from Pantala to Pyrrhia."

"I wish I could go back there," Moon said.

"You could you know,"

"I don't think I would want to interfere, there will be much younger dragons there. Nothing that I should be involved in, besides I like it here with my mother." "And you," She thought, glad to have the skyfire, specially enchanted so soon, could read minds, but no one could read hers.

"Anyways, I have duties to attend to, including dealing with my mother."

"Why do you need to "Deal with her ``?''

"I am simply erasing memories about my father from everyone who knows about him, I don't want the rest of them to keep thinking she is just a nightwing who falls for Icewing princes who are abandoned by their tribe." Darkstalker seemed to be referring to Winter, who had recently started a relationship with Foeslayer.

"See you soon, Darkstalker said as he walked off into the palace."

AN-So it begins. Disclaimer I do not ship Moonstalker or Winterslayer, I am just putting these in here for shits and giggles. I am trying not to make this a romance oriented story. This is just a little project I am doing. If you don't like these you don't need to read this. I am just throwing these in here for the people that do. Also Mention of Turtlejou next chapter because I wanna throw in a normal one. Sorry this is so short. This was a set up chapter for something bigger.
