I think I Might as well go to the forest; I am hungry and I really need some food... even if it was dry or expired, I have to eat something.

Jack:" Let's go to the forest, also I'm really hungry so can you scan me some fruits along the way? "

Zoe:" that I can but... are you really sure you want to eat a dry fruit?"

Jack:" hay, we find whatever I can eat, I don't ask for anything. I just want to eat something before I literally die from starvation"

Zoe:" hmm, fair enough. Also, I'm going to scan whatever I can find useful in our journey as well as edible stuff"

Jack:" good call... thanks, z"

Zoe:" your welcome doc"

And with that we went to the dry forest for shelter and find some food.

Hmm.

I should also check of what else the suit can do; it will make my job a lot easier if I know of what sort capability's that it has...and... if... possible... I would like to record videos and...take photos of everything I see, so I wouldn't forget everything I know and hold it as a documentary of my story. I won't forget who I am and forget of what I've done.

After a few minutes of walking we have arrived to forest, I could run but I'm to weak to do that now, the only reason why I run before is because I wanted the taste of freedom in my grasp... a bit too much though considered that I break the glass door.

Anyway, as I arrived, I looked around for edible fruits.

but...

upon my arrival.

jack:" oh my god" I said and sighed in disbelieve.

Zoe:" this doesn't look good all" she said in a concerned tune.

The forest looks dry as hell, the poor tree's looks like there life force has bean sucked out. Same goes with the fruits too, apples, oranges, pineapples, bananas and more.

sigh...will.

jack:" lunch time I guess" I said as I walked, looked and pat my stomach.

Zoe:" I'll scan for the once that still has somewhat juice left in em" she said as she begun to scan the area.

I kneeled down and picked one up with my right hand and dusted off with left one, its a dry pineapple and I was surprised because it looked like American foot ball. Zoe then scanned the fruit I was holding via the small dot holographic laser through the gas mask. She scanned it and analysis it in a few seconds.

Zoe:" it's 37% edible"

Jack:" good enough for me, I was going to eat it anyway...assuming that is not poisoned" I said in amusement but also with concerned.

Zoe:" AHAHAHA!... don't worry it's safe to eat" she laughed before consulting me.

I rip it open with my hands since it's dry, took one peace of it and...

HOLY SHIT!

my gas mask splits itself open from both sides, as it immediately shows a holographic blue mask.

jack:" OK THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME!"I said in with pure joy.

Zoe:" I KNOW RIGHT! YOU CAN EAT THROUGH IT AND STILL NO ONE WILL KNOW! "she said with the same emotion.

I begun to eat the dry pineapple and I have no trouble eating it through the gas mask especially the holographic blue mask...and as the taste implied, it was unsatisfactory.

Jack:" EEEEHC!"I digest the fruit in disgust.

Zoe:" do you like it~"

jack:"NO!" I shouted cutting her off.

She chuckled after she teased me about the awful taste, I kept eating the dry fruit while I was walking and looking around the forest. I keep picking up more on the way and put them in my bag, as I was amazed the different shapes and sizes of all kinds fruits then the usual normal once, the apples are star apples, the oranges are cube oranges, the banana's are moon banana's, the watermelon's are big ring shaped watermelon's, and kiwis...well just kiwi.

Zoe: OK that last one was disappointing"

jack:" I agree, not so much for the a mount of imagination"

we both said in disappointment as i collected enough food, thanks to Zoe collecting the food was easy as she highlighted them, green for the good once, yellow for the dry once and red for the once that are no longer edible.

barley any green once though.

I'll take I what I can get anyway.

anyway after eating and the gathering, I wiped my mouth before the gas mask closed it self. as my stomach is now full with unsatisfied food, after that we begun to look for a suitable place as shelter for the night.

I feel thirsty.

a few minutes later we found a shelter, a small cave just underneath the tree.

jack:" We could use this one" I said with a smile.

Zoe:" perfect, we secured our new and only home base." she said with a happy tune.

I need water.

jack:" ok zoe I know we just found our new home and i should sleep for night but I am really thirsty, besides (I took one of the stay fresh bottle's out of my bag as I look at it) i think it's the perfect opportunity to give my invention a test drive wouldn't you agree?" I said with confidence about my invention.

Zoe:" I absolutely agree! also more for the road" she agreed happily before suggestion.

Jack:" a good suggestion from zoe everybody, give her a big applaud!" I compliment her with enthusiasm before I give her applaud as I her giggles but this time with full joy.

it's nice to have someone with me even if it was just un a.i.

Ok personally If I came a cross someone who don't give a damn about un a.i and all that shit, then I also don't give a damn what they think as will. hay...it's a fair trade, if she can keep safe and sane at the same time I have no problem what so ever.

then we moved to find the nearest pond in the forest or at the very least a shore, which it didn't take very long to find one, I gazed at the small pond as it looked very dirty before I made a disgust expression.

jack:" ech...nasty... but you'll do just fine" I said before I looked at the bottle.

The bottle has no button but I remember it clearly of how it works and frankly, it's just that simple honestly. I kneeled at the edge of the pond and dip the top part of the bottle into the pond before I hear soft buzzing sound, as I see small waves around the bottle. Then I see the bottle is absorbing the dirty water as it got filled, then I hear more soft buzzing sound. I waited for a few seconds then the water started to move in a typhoon motion for a few more seconds as it stops again, then it made a dinging sound before I dip it out from the water and examined the result of my creation.

it worked.

the water looks clean and purified for me to drink.

but dose it taste good?

I was about to open the bottle but then it popped itself open as it revels a small straw, oh...i forgot that part.

zoe:" you can drink it through gas tank, it's a lot easer since there's already a straw inside" she informed.

Jack:"WHAT?!" I said in surprise.

Zoe:"you were part of the team temporarily to make some of these cool features" she continued to informed.

Jack:"ok but why?" I questioned.

zoe:"WHO GIVES A RATS ASS IT'S FUCKING AWESOME!" she delivered unexpected answered as it made me surprised for few seconds.

Jack:"hmm...can't argue with that" I rolled with it as I insert the bottle in the gas mask as a straw appeared right in front of me from the inside the helm.

jack:" ok...moment of truth" I said hoping that my invention will work as I was about to take my very first sip in a while.

zoe:" bottom's up and ill keep check on your health while you drink" she said as she prepared her diagnosis.

I begun to drink the water from the bottle it self, as I drink the water I begun to cry... not with sadness...but with joy. The water taste amazing, it taste so heavenly that it's like something that is not supposed to existing.

I opened the visor as I wipe my tears of joy away while drinking.

because I couldn't believe something like that exist.

but I made it exist.

I am very happy that I made it exist.

I am very happy that I invented it.

I am very satisfied from the result.

but.

the taste IS clear from flaw's, yet still half rich from the ACTUAL taste that I was trying bring.

I finished the bottle as i unplugged it from the gas tank and looked at it.

I guess that's were my big project come in.

zoe:"aaaand...diagnosis complete...it's perfect and healthy, how dose it feel to try your very own creation for the first time~" she said before teasing at the end.

Jack:" it's wonderful" I answered her before the bottle it self closed.

Zoe:" there's more were that came from if the project it self was around, but I am pretty sure will mange to find our way out of here" She said before informing our situation.

hmm.

Ill worry about that in the future, for now Ill just refill the two bottles. And call it a day.

we went back to our little home base as I examined the small cave before I entered, as I put one hand on the top edge of the entrance as I watch my head, Then sat down on the ground before I take off the bag from my shoulder and put it right next to me on the ground as I get comfortable in my new home of what's left with nature.

jack:" I love it~" I said with a loving sigh, as if I found a lost home that I was meant to be.

Zoe:" I love it to~, it's sooooo much butter then being in a shitty computer" she also said with a loving sigh.

I begun to enjoy the comfort of my new found home like a giddy little child who enjoys his mother's embrace.

my eye's are starting to get heavy.

then before I know it, the land of dream's decided to take me away before I here Zoe say.

Zoe:" sweet dreams~"

is all what she said, as my consciousness fade.

Zoe:" sleep mode activated" she said before a few soft sounds begun to wonder.

out and about and we are both a sleep, in a world that filled nothing but ocean deep.

there's still more to go before leaving the land of keep, we looked we selvedge but we were never too deep.

once dawn comes it's time to up our pace, so we can finally leave this nasty place.
