After we moved far away from the statue, we continued our way to the city as my anticipation of finding other beings begin to rise and longer can I express how happy I'm that we found a civilization. The city becomes more and more apparent, my patients barely contains itself until I hear the sounds of life, then the sub descended deeper down underwater as we try to avoid contact. Finally we reached the shore beneath the land and the sub stopped then switched to land mode as I felt the whole sub along with the tires touching the ground and finally...parked down.

Zoe:"This is as far as we can go captain" she informed as I rotated the metal chair to words her holographic face and give her a satisfied expression.

Jack: "That's good enough for me Z~...thanks~, we can continue on foot and stayinvisible from here on out" I praised her as she formed a blushing expression on her face and made a cute blushing gustier on her body.

Zoe:"Awwww~...your just had to make me blush hun~"

Jack:"Well someone had to keep you motivated~, just as much as you did with me back in the bunker~"

Zoe:"I was just doing what I was created to do, but then again~…It probably is my own intention to keep you alive and sane~, at least…..with my own way~" she teased as I shook my head with a smile on my face before I got up from my metal chair.

Jack:" In any case...let's get going and see what kind of people are we dealing with. We COULD see and hear all of this here on the monitors with your hacking ability safe and sound but, I think it's just about as interesting as seeing the world on TV at this point" I said in sarcasm as Zoe laughed in the irony of this scenario that she was about mention.

Zoe:"HAHAHAHAHA! That's hilarious~!...Hehehehe~, phew~….anyway the lunching bay for the divine zero suit is functional as I did some repairs on it and it's ready, to, go!" she said in enthusiasm as she opened suit and it looked clean as day.

Jack:"Good work as always Zoe...thank you so much, and it really is a good thing that kept your word about cleaning the suit, otherwise I might need to find a different solution to hide in the shadows. You look great by the way~ "I say as I entered the suit while she giggled.

Zoe:"Hehe~...thanks~, and of course I had to since you already did a good job on pleasing me. I believe you don't want your first impression had to be covered in a pool of your own jizz hmm~?" she said as I only raised on eyebrow with un expression that I could only describe as a cringe smile with a deadbeat face.

I shook my head once again as I had nothing to say on the matter before entered the suit, Zoe only giggled in reply as….well, I...moved to the launching bay that was in the center of the sub on the left, we were scanning around the sub the moment we departed the island, when we found it...physical is ok, but digitally it was not, the main function was broken mess so we manage to fix it. Zoe did the last finishing touches so I wouldn't have to, with all honestly I really wanna finish something of my own...but with the lack of proper food nutritions my body and mind are not as durable and focused as it used to be. However the continuous exercise to regain my strength did make the effort...but it's not enough to get my REAL strength to come back. Hope the food in the city of inkopolis provides better nourishment then shit fruits...at least I can wash it down with the stay fresh bottle to which it was already attached on my belt...Then I looked at my bag.

Jack:"What did you bring?"

Zoe:"Just a couple of gold ingots that I extracted from that room where you find that weird silver gold coin, which by the way you still need to explain that to me: what remains of the octo-flouter, your diploma, two bottles of alcohol and a few packs of smoke streams along with shit fruits...sorry, that's all we have at the moment"

jack:"Wait what did you do to the o-octo-flouter?"

Zoe:"I extracted the parts from it and upgraded the suit for it, I figured that way we can have a more balanced flight and easy way maneuver around the city. I also took the time to make a whole new chip when I….upgraded the suit~" she teased about our time together as I just look away for a bit before I look back so she could continue.

Zoe:" To which that allows the tentacles arms shoot a tiny bullet at anything it touches will becomes invisible and visible however we wanted~!" she said as I felt joy of her efforts.

jack:"Amazing!...I'm assuming that inspiration took place because of the bag?"

Zoe:"Along with everything else we touch, will be only visible to us, and yes~…..it was the idea of the bag will be a dead giveaway at this point, so I had to make it before we reach our destination….How about that?" she said a proud achievement as I felt a bit envious of her work.

Zoe:"Wwwww~, don't be sad~...I don't mean to rub more salt on the wound~, your still tired after all and you lack real food at the moment so don't feel so bad~...I promise that you'll be guaranteed to have all the things you didn't get and the things you will get in no time~, so chin up...you'll be amazing of what your REALLY capable of in the future. But right now...we have to survive"

She reassured to me as feeling of envy washed away in instinct. However she is right, I did mention to myself that in my current state...I am weak, but I suppose the real deal has to wait until the times comes, so might as well make it worthwhile of what I CAN do for now.

Jack: "Thanks Z~…..you're making my life easier. I promise I'll explain everything I know about this coin after we're done of our big detour around the city….deal?"

Zoe:"Deal. And you better show me how much of a man that keeps his words~"she said with a playful tune as I just chuckled in laughter.

jack:"Hmhm, I always do~….now then, shall we get going?" I said as we made it to the lunching bay and entered it through the squire door as it closed behind me.

Zoe:"Ye~...oh I should mention that since I'm part of the sub mainframe, I'll be circling around the island scanning everything and possibly find un appropriate hide out for the sub~" she replied with the same playfully tune as I only smiled in approval.

With that, the lunch tube was filled up with water as I feel it around me once again, if I had to count of how many times I have been in the water. it would be something that a diver would do, though if he could….he would count of how many times he had to complain about the filthy water. I'm not joking the water here is fucking polluted to point that I think I can taste of how bad it is, metaphorically speaking.

Jack:"UGH!...I would really like to leave now!"

Zoe:"DITTO TO THE MAX!"

The tube then launched me out of the sub like a torpedo as I immediately used the jet back thrusters to boost the launch and activated the invisibility cloak as I hear the sounds of dematerialisation, then I hear Zoe said that stealth is activated before I felt the great pressure of the force as I was speeding out of the water, now I'm in the high air as I looked at one building to land on with no people on it, I found one and landed on it with one knee on the ground Somewhat like a superhero landing as my eyes were closed to let my ears do the work instead. There was only silence…...however, I begin to hear sounds, sounds that one represents of each of their own, and one by one is coming right after the other, the sound of bird's, the sound of wind, the sound of cars, the sound of people, the sound of everyday machine's….everything…..tears begin to shed down from my eyes as I at last hear the sounds of life into my very own ears.

Jack:"We made it"

Zoe:"We sure did jack~…..we suure~ did~" we exchanged our moment of joy as I begin to take in the moment.

I never felt so happy and so alive at the same time that I would hear the sounds of everyday life coming back to me. I still remember that I was never a been a big fan of the outside world even though that I am an extrovert person myself. But consider that my everyday life was nothing but hardship that I HAD to go outside to find a job in order to support the family that I hold dear so much….I suppose that I won't be doing that anymore as I felt a lingering regret in my heart.

However the moment has passed as I hear a strange gurgling sounds. 'What could it be', I wonder as I stand up before noticing that the bag is already invisible as I only see a digital cyan coloured silhouette, I smiled for second as I walked to the edge of the building as I kneeled down with my left fingers on the edge while the my right arm rest on my leg and looked down…

I see the sight of life right before my eyes…..Street's full of life people, walking left to right, talking, eating, drinking, that sort of thing. Cars and traffic, birds singing and soaring through the sky and all around city as it is the afternoon. Life couldn't more simpler….Well I say that if it weren't for that weird gurgling sounds….seriously what is that?

Zoe:"Uh..Jack. You might want to see this"

She sounded worried and confused. I asked what's wrong before she formed a hand and pointed down at the civilians as I looked closer with the visor zooming in like binocular and…What in the name of all things that are unholy am I looking at?! As I got a clear look of what these ACTUAL people are, their appearance are more like aquatic looking then more of a human, although...they do have a human featurestics….but there more like cephalopod looking?! What the hell?!

From what I can describe there all kinds of aquatic lifeforms on this island from jellyfish to manta-rays to these humanoid like squids that seems to more noticeable than among others, despite their height being a bit small...for the most part. Their appearance consisting on these black eye masks as a part of the squids face, but there entire body skin looked normal like a human being from white to black, there teeth's are somewhat normal as they have some noticeable fangs, they have big elf like ears, but the most interesting part is their "hair" - tentacles shaped in various hairstyles. The top side of the shows the colour orange as it looked silky, but it's not the only colour, there are blue, red, green, white, black, pink, cyan and more...The bottom part only shows a white coloured side of the hair as it has the suction cup at the end of it on both side of the tentacle, and two large eyes that seem to be joined to which is around the black mask shows more than one colour, same thing with their hair. There's both male and female cephalopods, however the male one seems to have something that keeps his clubbed tentacles on top as I also noticed that they have clothes on, the female one has a soft high pitched gurgly voice while the male has a deep pitched one, and I have to say…..they do have a sense of fashion just much as a human would~.

Then I found the source of the gurgling sounds. It's their voice, I couldn't believe it myself as I kept listening on there conversation, but there communication seems to be nothing but gibberish….Wait! Gibberish…...Is the mysterious women are one of those creatures?….I….really don't know for certain just yet, the thought left as I continued to listen. They seem to be happy of what they talking about that their facial expression give it away before they started laughing. I have a few guesses of what there conversations could be but some of them might be a bit unpleasant to say the least.

Odradek/Zoe:"Oh..My..gosh….THERE SO CUUTE~!" she squealed in excitement as she was using her inside voice as her peddles now shows a yellow glow which no brainer that it described happiness.

Then again, I have to admit….there are pretty darn adorable. This is truly is fascinating!….So it seems that the mollusks creatures are the new dominant species of this world?!..Hell. My inner scientist is about to EXPLODE from opportunities! Just think of the things to learn myself...to learn THEM! So much to see! And I want to discover everything about their history and their continuous generation of this new era!….but! Big but - how do I even confront them first? And most importantly how do I talk to them if, and I say IF strongly here because I don't know if they have knowledge of MY language?

Odradek/Zoe:"If you have a language barrier problem then I got the solution for it, but I can't promise it would be very effective" she suggested as my eyes perked in interest before I looked at her eye to eye.

Jack:"Anything would do, lay it on me"

Zoe:"Remember the needle ear auditory system function when you checked the blueprint on the arm-droid? Well this should provide you the ability to hear and understand them more clearly with the language that your are familiar with that is translated by the sound waves of the helmet ears, and permanently implant that new information into your brain, after that you don't need the helmet to understand them~"she unveils this information as I smiled in joy. I guess Hellven's tech knows no bound. But then I had a thought.

Jack:"Wouldn't be better if I'd already learned the language completely?"

Odradek/Zoe:"Sorry, no can do. If were going to learn more about them, we have to put more effort for it"

jack:"I know that for sure, and I don't mind doing so. Anyway let's get this thing working"

Odradek/Zoe:"I was already on it the moment that we stepped in"

jack:"What?...then why did you asked for it then?"

Odradek/Zoe:"Just to make sure that you know your shit before you had to jump the gun on again~"

jack:"…...I just said that I won't do it again"

Odradek/Zoe:"I know you won't. That's way I need to tell you to watch out for this one~" she said with an odd description before she pointed what she's talking about as my expression turned from joy to surprised face as I was already in deep shit.

There was one of those squids climbing up the stairs of the side building, running in a very fast motion, I was ready to leave quickly before she jumped out as I see it was a female one, however while her jump was indeed graceful with a few trails of ink-like substance that I dodged. I noticed that she was indeed A squid and It was a major shock on my part. I could have swore when I saw her a moment ago that she was already humanoid.

Then the next part shocked my very soul, before she landed her jump far behind me as I followed, she turned back into her humanoid form. Wha..wh-what?! How did she-?! Oh, never mind that. She was facing backwards, her hair is orange and her uninformed seems to be an agent of some sort, her next move got me in high alert as I immediately put my guard up while I was still on the ground despite that I am invisible to the naked eye, as she turned around sideways she pulled out her weapon with one hand that looked like a paint gun as her aim was….at me?!….h-how?…...how could she know that I am right here?!

?:"%£ $^* £*#!" she said a few word's with high pitched gurgling sound as her tune was quite serious and kind of aggressive.

Her face also looked serious as her blue eyes has this look of soldier that it get pierce through the heart of her enemy, fortnightly it had no effect on me since I had a tough times myself to ever get me over heels like that. Then I noticed her small number three that looked very faint on her left shoulder, the one she is holding her gun.

I decided that I'll do a little experiment to make sure that she in fact knows that I'm there, I moved slightly to the right before she give surprised me with a quick warning shot with the direction of my movement to right, the bullet then splatted on the ground as it become a small peddle of what the visor analysed and that it is in fact ink with colour orange, then she said a few more words with an angry serious tune along with her face.

At least the experiment confirms that she can see me, however…..Something about this situation that I'm in brings a sense of a giddy sensation of struggle that bring a big sadistic smile on my face as if I had awakened to another lost trait, the same thing with my own greedy nature have returned…..are there anymore traits that I have lost it through time? How many of them are there that I don't remember even though all of my memory's have been restored? I booked the thought before I slowly creepily standing up like a rising undead while keeping the smile, then with a risk, I slowly uncloak with a re-materialization sounds right before her very eye's as her expression was slowly forming a big shocked expression as she looked at me with all of my glory before I slowly take off my hoodie, Zoe then activated the illusion of the odradek to create a shining glow behind my back. Wonder why.

Jack:"Hello there~"

I greeted her with a sly tune as my voice was already has been switched to the modified electro demonic one. This scene causes her to lose grip on her left arm along with her weapon as it slowly dropped from her hand before her jaw was dropped completely, the moment lasted for one full minute before I make my move.

Jack:"And goodbye~!"

I shouted with the same voice in departure before I super jumped out of the building with the jetpack activated along with the boost as I fly away very fast with the holographic blue wings giving a show as they were flapping about with the small blue fathers left a trail in sky before they started to disappear before I did the same as I was completely out of sight.

Thanks to stealth mode I got a way easy, because every movement I make just only followed by wind. As I am soaring through building, Zoe then showed me a small screen on the visor to showing me her perspective in the odradek, in the screen….I see the same female squid raising on hand with her palm is shown, and her fingers opened as if she is trying her best to reach me in desperation, and her face looked very troubled as she was saying something but I was to far off to hear, but even then I wouldn't understand it, though I think the obvious one would be 'stop' or 'wait'. But I'm not stopping nor waiting as I kept souring and manoeuvring around the city buildings.

I keep seeing life blooming in every corner of the city far below, from this point on….I felt a sense presence from every direction, a sense of relief begin to fill my with my very being, though I don't like people as much in the past and despite of how things have been. I still yearn for a single presence. And apparently….I already got it. it felt good~. Then I spotted another building and landed on it that is far away from that female humanoid squid soldier, the building that I landed is taller and it's the perfect hiding place since there was no entrance nor side latter's to get up here, I assume it's probably a company kind building.

Then we look around and made sure that there's no one was following us or even catch glimpse of me….despite my odds have been improved of not being able to be detected or not. Had to make sure we're in the clean here. We looked around for conformation, and only then I set down as the concrete floor was a bit hot but It was nothing new. I rubbed my face in confusion before I begin to collect all of my confusing thoughts…..how the hell did she notice that I was there?...is it because there's still some water on me?...i checked but only to find that I was already completely dry, but even then…..how did she know? How did she even notice that I was already there in the first place?

Odradek/Zoe:" She sure is a cutie~" she said in flattery tune as she break the silence and my thoughts about the situation were already in.

Jack:" And quite sharp to say the least, not to mention she can transform into a squid or whenever. As amazing as it looks, I really can't get over of how or what make her even noticed me, but we have to be more vigilant from now on ok? Don't want the new residence of this new world to know my existence just yet, and yours as well. The stunt we did was a necessary risk to create a shocking opportunity to get away from her, hopefully it's more than enough to make her not talk about it at least for a good while"

Odradek/Zoe:"No need~"

jack:"Huh? Wha? What do you mean?"

Zoe:" becauuuuuuse~ You gonna love this: I've already hacked the entire population of both internet AND government information of this city. No way they'll know what we did. He-he-he~ We're now officially invisible to the public~"she informed to me as she giggled before I was in complete shock with a hint of horror.

….Now I fully understand why Prof. Lee Higgs didn't bring her to the outside world before - at the very least - explaining her certain things and restrictions. She is….too dangerous and too powerful! I hear more giggles escape Zoe as she used the tentacles to wraps around my body for a comforting hug.

Odradek/Zoe:"Don't be scared~ I don't want you to think of me as some sort of distractive A.I. or any of that cliche shit~, I'm not going to hurt anyone or any living thing ever~….unless they are complete absolute and utter douchebags. Then might as well go for it~...hmhmhmm~, Besides, I'm still providing protection and security for you with everything that I have~"she said with sincerity as I hold out one of my hands.

One of her tentacles then slowly wrapped around it as the claw stopped at the palm at my hand, I gently pressed and hold my hand on it.

Jack:"We are too dangerous in the eyes of others, you have to understand that everyone has a perspective of their own"

Odradek/Zoe:" Unless if they have a shitty perspective such as pigs thinking they are the top notch wolfs, while in reality they're just old lonely pathetic wanna be dick bags who only have a common since of a feral horn dogs, then there's these pansy ass push over's who don't know how to get their act together and just let things happen as if someone find there answer for them…..WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT LOGIC AND PERSPECTIVE AS THAT!?" she said with frustration as she hold my arm tightly as if I'm holding humanity's restraints.

I am not too familiar for it….but I do relate to that thought completely, because I have seen people like that everyday in my previous life before I moved to Hellven's, but even that never changed as I keep seeing it over and over again. I then soothed her with my own fingers, rubbing around the claw as she begin to calm down before I felt the grip was loosened….I took a deep breath before I make my words.

Jack:" Easy, easy...I know how you feel, and I can fully understand that. It's pretty fucked up in both areas, but there are already plenty of people that are already the opposite of that factor and thinking the bigger picture. However I don't know of what the common since of this city lies to, and the only thing we do need to worry about right now is what we have and what we do; just as much they need to deal with whatever thing they have. Until then we need to hold our own as we'll know more of how this new form of society operates. Trust me...I will still do what I always have been doing as well…..but not right now, at the very least. We're checking things out first, then will see….ok?" I said with acknowledgement as she hugged me a bit tighter for it felt there's a feeling of warmth behind it...to which it almost felt…..alive.

Odradek/Zoe:"Thank you so much jack~…It really means so much that you think opened minded like that~"

Jack:" I'm always opened minded, and I don't take words from any moron and think it's official news, I trust only with my own intel until it's actually is official news, that's how I roll back then, and I still do that now"

Zoe:"Jack I'm hurt~"

jack:"Oh quit it~ You know me better then that~" I say with a sly tune as Zoe laughed.

Jack:"Also that was a nice trick you did back there.."

Odradek/Zoe:"I had to put on a little show to your little pre-reveal. Figured that'll make for a good first impression tactic; but wouldn't better if we make it bigger and louder?"

She suggested with enthusiasm as I thought about it before she unwrapped her hug along with my arm as I folded both of them. Come to think of it….we did see a plane passed bay in the sky above the city as I make my escape…...which means there are more of them out there…I…..can't even…..I just…..can't...even! Hooo I good moment I thought of how good It would be to make a huge impact on the city, as well as the rest of world. It will shake the world to a greater height as we make the whole thing feel like a one big giant show…..a global show. The thought was so tempting that it actually made my heart race with the feeling of anticipation as a huge smile put on my face.

Odradek/Zoe:"I don't hear a nooooooooo~" she teased as I just chuckled as if I already gave her my answer.

Jack:"Hhmhm~…..well~ we lack a good idea at the moment, and we don't need to rush things to make everyone knows that we survived, we have all the time in the woooorld."

Odradek/Zoe:" I completely agree….If we're going to make ourselves known, we gotta go with style! And I hope this orange little cutie will see the hole thing." she said with more enthusiasm as I agree with more chuckle.

After we finished our little conversation I get myself ready to jump before I see something intriguing in the far distance below, that outshines everything I see before me.

Odradek/Zoe:"I was going to tell you about that anyways but….eh…..I guess it shouldn't be that surprising"

Jack:"Is that a fucking giant electric ell?!"

I stand up in surprise as I cut her off before I look in the far distance as a literal giant fucking eel wrapped around on what it looks like a white the past I have seen mutants that are questionable at best. Yet it's still beyond belief that such odd barbaric fish got in the mix. I think I know what I'll be investigating next.

With that I put my hoodie on before I took a leap of faith from the edge of the tall building as I am now free falling. When I got in close range on one of the buildings, I fire the hook and got attached to it before I begin to swing my way to the giant electric eel and I started to scream in joy as we continue to swing as if were are in a roller coaster. We're just taking every experience we can as we go to our target, so might as well make it a fun while we can. As I swing around the city, I keep hearing the people's gibberish voices...One after another as it becomes more and more strange by the second, because of how it felt like the earth I knew got taking over by an alien race. But these old aquatic species seems to have evolved naturally by their own. And yet the whole thing felt like a different planet. Gonna admit, I do feel a bit alienated by the fact the world I used to know is nothing but aquatic beings all over…..I still have no idea what their reaction will be, including the world…

…..Will they welcome me?
