Mob didn't understand the Awakened sometimes.

"Did you really think that Shiori was inside of the vending machine or did you just want candy?" asked Mob as she knelt down beside one of the Awakened. She hadn't gotten his name, people thought that she knew everyone's names for some reason, and it would have been rude to ask it now. She would figure out, or try to anyway, how to ask him his name later. Right now she needed to get him out of this mess.

She kind of understood why Dad had taken all the vending machines out of Tokyo HQ.

"….candy." said the Awakened as he tried to wiggle his arm. Mob sighed and shook her head. The candy in this machine wasn't even that good, no milk chocolate at all. Maybe she just needed to start making candy a part of lunch, or maybe dinner, but not breakfast because that was way too rarely for candy…but then again they didn't need any more sugar than they already had in their systems.

They were a lot like little kids, like Mukai, they couldn't really handle their sugar that well…even though they were all Hatori's age or older.

"And what did you learn?" asked Mob in that same way she asked Mukai what she learned after she did something dumb…not smart. Not what Mob would have done. She liked to stick her hand in places that it didn't belong, too. Like the drain, or animals holes, or in cakes….but that was for a whole different reason. Though Mukai could have grown out of it by now. Mob didn't know, she hadn't seen her sister since Christmas…or her brother…or her friends…

Most of them.

"That I'm not as skinny as I think I am." Said the Awakened. He tried wiggling his arm again but Mob stopped him. That wouldn't do either of them any good. She glanced down the hallway. She made eye contact with an Awakened who was peering down the hallway. He gasped and ran away. There were plenty of Awakened but none of her friends…her close friends. She had sent Serizawa to go and get buttery from the kitchen, that was what had worked last time, and she had sent Joseph with him so Serizawa had someone familiar nearby and didn't freak out. It was important to think about people other than yourself, even if thinking about people other than yourself could get pretty exhausting after a while.

"No, well yes, but also no. You shouldn't stick your arms in vending machines. That's why my Dad tried to get rid of them, because you guys kept on doing things like this." Said Mob

"Don't tell President Suzuki! He'll end ME!" said the Awakened

"I would never let my Dad do that, not to any of you." said Mob

"But-but he's the President! He's in charge, he's the Avatar of a-" said the Awakened

"Dad isn't in charge here, I am, and if I tell him not to hurt you then he'll have to listen to me. I won't let him hurt you or reassign you or even yell at you. That isn't nice and I don't like things like that." Said Mob

"Thank you so much, Vice President Suzuki, thank you so much." Said the Awakened. He took her free hand in his free hand. She wanted to pull away. It wasn't that she didn't like him, she just didn't want to be touched by people she didn't know…but that was mean and selfish. It was important to think about people other than yourself. If you could be of some kind of comfort to someone else then that was what you had to do. Mob knew that she had wished, so many times before, that someone would have been there for her. Back before there had been people to be there for her, of course, back when she had been little. Young.

As young as the Awakened acted like they were.

"You don't have to thank me, I haven't even done anything yet…but hang on, here comes Serizawa with the butter." Said Mob. She could sense him before she saw him. There. That was a good excuse to get go. She had to get up, of course, if her friend…friends….were coming. It wasn't mean at all. She wiped her hand against her skirt. It was all wet and sweaty…kind of gross….

But that was mean.

There was nothing gross about sweat. Everyone sweated, everyone in the world. Unless you didn't, like that thing Emmy had told Sho about a long time ago, so maybe it was better to say that most people sweated. Her, the Awakened, even her best friends. Serizawa was shiny in the light, like the time Mukai had greased herself up so nobody could catch her that one bath time, though she knew that he hadn't done anything like that.

He was holding the butter tub in his hands, and it wasn't opened…and he knew better, too. He wasn't a little kid, and he wasn't one of the Awakened either.

"I-I got as much as I could carry, Miss Suzuki!" said Serizawa holding up the butter tub like Link did when he found things. He did look kind of like Link, the green shirt tied it all together, thought it didn't really go with the orange of his robe. He made it work, though.

"And I brought vegetable oil, that might help more than the butter. Got my head stuck in a banister once, that's how my mom got me out." Said Joseph, walking slowly behind Serizawa. He had a big bottle of vegetable oil in his hands, but he didn't hold it up like Link. He just kind of held it like normal. The top had ashes on it. He was ashing on the floor again…that was going to be more work for the maintenance people. Boys didn't really think about those kinds of things.

Sometimes it felt like boys didn't ever really think at all.

"How did you get your head stuck in a banister?" asked Mob as she took the butter and vegetable oil from them with her powers. She got back down onto the floor. Serizawa practically threw himself down beside her. Joseph leaned against the wall and ashed his cigarette right down onto the floor. The grey stick out against the white.

"I stuck it in there." Said Joseph as he dropped the end of his cigarette onto the ground. He crushed it with his shoe. Mob frowned but kept up with what she was doing. She made sure to spread as much of the butter as she could with her powers. She would try the vegetable oil later, if this didn't work.

"Why?" asked Mob as she worked. Serizawa tried to help her with his powers but just got butter on the vending machine…but that was ok. Things that weren't solid were hard for some people. They had never been hard for her, of course, but she wasn't going to brag or complain. At least he was helping….but that was mean. She wasn't sure what Joseph could have possibly done to help, or any of the other people just standing around and watching. Anyway it was her job to take care of everyone here. That was why Dad had put her in charge, because she was so good at helping people, and also because he wanted to get away from her….but that didn't mean that she wasn't good at helping people.

"Did someone dare you to?" asked the Awakened. Mob frowned…that needed to be a rule. No more dares of any kind.

"No, I kind of dared myself. I just wanted to see if it would fit, and it did." Laughed Joseph. Mob laughed, too, to be polite. She didn't get it. Why did boys have to do things like that? And like this? Why did…she kept on working. Serizawa wasn't helping her now, just holding the butter container…but that was kind of like helping. Body heat made butter melt.

"But…why?" asked Serizawa

"Because I was twelve and stupid. You didn't do stupid things when you were a kid?" asked Joseph

"I…I…" said Serizawa. Mob put her hand over his. She knew that look, the one on his face and aura. She knew he was thinking about things that he shouldn't have been thinking of. She held his hand tight in hers.

"Here, help me pull. Use your powers, it's easier." Said Mob

"But…but what if I mess up? I could hurt him." Said Serizawa

"Mess up?!" gasped the Awakened

"Nobody's going to mess up. I trust you, Serizawa, and if I can trust you then so can he." Said Mob. He looked at her and nodded. Behind her she could hear the click of Joseph's lighter. She felt Serizawa jump a little. She rested her aura on his.

"I…I trust you." said Serizawa

"Trust yourself." Said Mob. He did. She could feel him there, helping her, or maybe she was the one helping him. She guided him, made sure he didn't pull too hard, made sure that he didn't lose control. It was important to help people, to hold their hands through the hard things, to do what she wished someone would have done for her when she was learning. Dad just told her what to do and got mad when she messed up…back then, back when she had still been learning.

But she wasn't learning anymore, she was the one teaching, and she was doing a better job of it than Dad ever had.

"I-I did it!" said Serizawa as the Awakened pulled his arm free. He held it over his head and cheered. There were other cheers, from down the corridor, and a sudden burst of red. All she could see was red, aurally, so much red…she couldn't even see Serizawa. There was the sound of running feet and then the Awakened in front of her had been whisked away into the crowd like he had never been there.

"Well you don't see that every day." Said Joseph as he came up to her. He held out his hand and helped her to her feet. Serizawa gave him a look and helped her up with his powers…a little too hard. He helped her to her feet alright…but then he helped her right up off of the ground.

She pulled herself back down to Earth.

"Are-are you alright, Miss Suzuki?" asked Serizawa

I'm fine, you didn't pick me up that far. I can make myself fly higher than that in my sleep." Said Mob

"You can fly? Not just hover?" asked Joseph. His eyes were on her, now. It felt kind of like he was looking through her, like she was a Christmas gift and he was trying to figure out what was under the paper. She crossed her arms in front of her chest. Serizawa looked down at her and then his aura showed. She got ready to keep his aura steady with hers but she didn't even have to. He picked up the butter and handed it to her, and he took the vegetable oil in his hands.

"We…we should get these back to the kitchen…they might need these for dinner. We might be having something slippery." Said Serizawa. Mob didn't know if what would be having would be specifically slippery, she didn't personally approve every single menu, but she could see his point. The butter tub had 'keep refrigerated' written on every single side, and the top too.

"I'll talk to you later Joseph, ok?" asked Mob

"Wait, I've been meaning to ask you something about the new assignment that the President-" said Joseph

"I'll talk to you later, this needs to get back to the kitchen right now." said Mob. She didn't want to talk about Dad right now, about how Shiori had run away from him. This was just like when Mom had run away. She remembered him in his office, all locked away, screaming into his phone that people had to do more to look. That he wanted them to look under every single rock, behind eveur corner, and in every single closet until they found her. It hadn't worked, of course, and Mom was still missing. All he had done was get his hopes up.

She didn't know why he was making the same mistake again.

She wasn't going to send anyone here off to look for someone who didn't want to be found. It would have been different if he had evidence or something that she'd been kidnapped, then Mob would have been worried, but feelings were just…feelings. Dad just didn't want to admit the truth to himself, that he was mean to people, and that being mean drove people away. He just didn't want to admit that no matter how much he loved someone his love was all mean and smothery and of course people wanted to get away from him.

He would never admit that.

And she would never tell him. That would have just caused a fight and the last thing she needed was another fight with Dad. Sometimes it felt like all they did, towards the end, was fight. Dad could do whatever he wanted to do and she could do whatever she wanted to do, he had said so, and what she wanted to do was go down to the kitchen and put this butter back.

So that was what she did.

On her way down she felt auras, a lot of them. There were more people here than there was work to be done, it felt like, or maybe people just kind of didn't always do what they should have done…but she wasn't going to be mean to people. She wasn't going to be bossy. Sho was always telling her how bossy he was, or at least he used to. She hadn't heard from him in so long. If he had been there he would have told her…he didn't even know. He probably would have taken the butter from her and greased a hallway so he and Mukai could go sock skating, or maybe he would have gone and shaken the vending machine so he could get the candy out for everyone…or mostly Mukai, or maybe he even would have helped her and Serizawa carry things even though they didn't need help and then they could spend the rest of the day together…it would have been great, if he had been there. She could nearly feel his aura, hear his voice, see his red hair-

Wait.

"Sho!" said Mob. She dropped the butter and ran…that hadn't been good. She had been so near to the kitchen, just crossing the cafeteria, and it would have been just a few more steps…but she didn't have time to make those few more steps. Not when her brother was there for the first time in forever…if Sho was back then that might have meant that everyone was back and-and that would have been-

It was just Sho that she could sense, and see, but that was ok. At least her little brother was back.

"Big Sis!" said Sho as she ran to him. He reached out and hugged her, or maybe accepted her hug, she wasn't entirely sure which of them had started the hugging first. She just knew that she was so happy to be back with her little brother, the best little brother than anyone could ask for.

"Oh Sho, it's so good to see you again. I missed you so much-" said Mob

"You're crushing my skeleton!" said Sho. Mob let him go immediately. She could see Serizawa's aura behind her. She motioned for him to come over but he shook his head and clutched his umbrella in his hands…it was kind of crowded down here, being so close to a mealtime and all…but she couldn't leave. If she left then she might have never seen Sho again…or at least that was the way it felt.

"You came back, little brother. I mean I knew that you were coming back but I didn't think that it would be so soon, not that I'm complaining or anything, I'm just happy that you're here!" said Mob

"I'm happy to be back, Big Sis, but this isn't about…this isn't about hanging out. I need your help with something really important." Said Sho

"Of course. Whatever you need, Sho, I'll give it to you. Money, a plane, something from Shimazaki's weapon collection-" said Mob

"He collects weapons now?" asked Sho

"Yes, but it's mostly just knives and a few guns. He takes them from people who want to hurt him first so it's ok…but maybe be careful if you borrow something from him. Unless you brought Fukuda back with you." said Mob

"No, he went to be with Dad because of what happened-" said Sho

"Shimazaki found a box of grenades, too! I mean I don't know if you need grenades but he has them…but they're kind of dangerous…but you know that already…sorry." Said Serizawa quietly. He had made his way to them so slowly she hadn't even noticed. He had been late to the conversation, too, because he had been moving so slowly…but Mob wasn't going to make him feel bad about that.

"Wait, do you mean real ones or-" said Sho

"Serizawa, thank you for telling us. Sho, I'm not sure if you should be playing with grenades if Fukuda is gone. I'm sure that if you bring Shimazaki, if I can find him for you, then he'll help you with whatever you need." Said Mob

"I don't need Shimazaki, I need you. You're the most powerful person I know and I need you to help me right now!" said Sho

"I will, I will." Said Mob. Sho took her by the wrist and started to walk towards the door.

"You have to come with me, we have to find Shiori. She got kidnapped!" said Sho. Mob pulled her hand free. Oh. So that was what this was about. Serizawa's aura was showing again. His eyes were on her…he seemed worried…but he had nothing to worry about. She wasn't going to get upset no matter how upsetting this was. No matter how angry it made her that Sho had to go through this again…hadn't it been bad enough with Mom? Why did people have to be like this? Why did they have to just leave?

Maybe because it was just easier than breaking up.

She had done the same thing, sort of, to Shimazaki when she hadn't wanted to be with him. She had just avoided him and pretended to be busy whenever he wanted to hang out with her and…and that had been mean…but not as mean as just completely disappearing never to be seen again! That was…Mom could have at least left a letter or a note or…or something…and Shiori wasn't even married to Dad. They didn't live in the same house and…and she could have texted him that she was running away instead of putting them all through something like this…instead of acting like she was the only person in the world who's feelings mattered! Sho's feelings mattered too and right now he was all hurt that this lady, this witch, this b-word thought that she could just-just come into people's lives and leave and-and good riddance! Goodbye! Good-

No not good. Mob wasn't being good at all.

"Come on, what are you waiting for?!" asked Sho

"M-Miss Suzuki wants everyone to stay out of it…" said Serizawa softly

"What the fuck!? Why!?" shouted Sho. He shouted so loudly that people were staring at them now. Everyone, most everyone, here had the same aura…it felt like a million eyes were watching her but also at the same time one giant set of eyes, or maybe more like being under a microscope….she didn't know for sure. All she knew was that she didn't want to be watched right now.

"Sho…let's not argue here…I mean I don't want to argue with you at all-" said Mob

"Then don't argue with me! Come and help me before it's too late!" said Sho, tugging on her again. She stayed in place. She didn't want to go wherever it was that he was taking her. It was old outside, she was only wearing a sweater, and anyway there wasn't anywhere to really look. If someone wanted to disappear then they would disappear. That was just how it happened sometimes. She wasn't going to let him get his hopes up again, not like before.

"Sho, no, it's cold outside." Said Mob

"Then here, take my jacket." Said Sho as he took his coat off and shoved it into her arms. She held it in her hands but didn't put it on. His sleeves had ridden up, or maybe that shirt was just too small, either way she could see the scars on his arms….the ones that she had let him get. She hadn't been able to keep him safe that day but she could keep him safe now. Not every scar was on the outside…and Sho didn't need any more scars anywhere anyway.

"Come on, it'll fit you." said Sho

"I don't want it." Said Mob, handing it back to him.

"Do-do you want my robe? I mean it's going to be much too big on you but…but maybe that's going to keep you even warmer…I mean…I don't know." said Serizawa

"I don't want anything because I'm not going outside. Just…Sho…can we go somewhere and talk?" asked Mob

"We're talking right now, Big Sis." Said Sho

"I meant somewhere where people weren't staring at us." Said Mob

"I don't give a damn if people are staring. Let them look." Said Sho

"I just…Sho, it just doesn't…I don't think we should look for her. We have a lot going on right now and if we want to stay on schedule-" said Mob

"Fuck the schedule! Fuck it sideways and upside down!" said Sho. Mob gasped and covered her mouth. Serizawa pulled his robe up over his head and hid like a turtle.

"Sho! You can't say things like that, and not in front of the Awakened! They repeat everything they hear, they're kind of like Mukai like that." Said Mob, glancing at the crowd that had formed around them.

"I can say whatever the fuck I want to say-" said Sho

"Then say it in my office!" said Mob as she grabbed Sho by the hand and practically dragged him to the elevator. People got out of her way as she walked, with Serizawa close by behind her, and they even let her have the elevator to herself. She didn't know if she was being mean by hogging the elevator or if everyone was just being nice in letting her have it…she could figure this out later. Right now she needed to figure out what she was going to do about Sho.

She wasn't going to let him get hurt again.

The ride up to her office was a short and quiet one. She wished that it had been long and quiet. Then she would have been able to think of something to say, some magical combination of words that would make Sho drop it, that would make him realize that Shiori wasn't worth it. That it was just like when Mom left. That it wasn't worth it to get so hurt over someone who wasn't their mom and could never be her…it hadn't even been worth getting that upset over Mom. There was no reason to get upset over someone….over someone who had no interest in being their Mom.

Or their stepmom….not that they even needed one.

Sho wanted one, though, it seemed. That was why he kept on talking to her and stuff. She didn't know why Sho wanted one. She had done a very good job taking care of him, or at least she'd thought she had. She had done her best to make sure that he was happy and healthy and all of the other things that a mom should have worked hard to do. She had filled in for Mom for years now and…and she didn't know why Sho wanted to replace her with someone as mean as Shiori…why he wanted to spend time with someone like that…why he wouldn't just let her go.

When someone wanted to go then you let them leave. What else could you do?

"Yeah, we're here, what do you want to talk about?" grumbled Sho as they made it to her office. Sho slammed the door behind him as he stepped inside, nearly crushing Serizawa. He gasped and practically ran to his spot…she would worry about him later. Right now Sho needed her. She used her power to call over one of the fancy liquor bottles and two glasses. She put them down on the table and poured some for her and Sho all the way to the rim.

They both needed it.

"Here, you're upset." Said Mob as she passed him a glass. He held it in his hand and stared at for a moment before he sipped it. Immediately he made a face and stuck out his tongue.

"This shit burns!" said Sho

"I know, that's why you have to drink it really fast like this." Said Mob. She turned her head back and drank as much of it as she could at once. Her throat burned but not as bad as when she'd started, when she had been little. She was used to it by now…but Sho wasn't. She needed to keep things that other people like in this office, not just her. She could be so selfish sometimes without even realizing it...and she had been selfish. It came to her as she drank. Sho needed her and she was being selfish in not helping him…though maybe she wasn't since she was trying to spare his feelings again…

Now she was even more mixed up than ever.

"I don't need a drinking lesson, I need your help. You're the most powerful esper I know and…and I need you, ok? If these guys kidnap espers then…then it's not like with normal people. We need to fight and I know I'm not as strong as you. Even Serizawa's stronger than me and he's a scaredy cat." Said Sho

"Thank you! I mean…for the first part…though the second part is true." Said Serizawa, looking up from the Gameboy he had clutched in his hands. She opened the blinds behind him with her powers so he had more light to play by.

"Sho, be nice. Serizawa is…just a little bit…he gets scared easily, that's all. It doesn't make him a scaredy cat." Said Mob

"Then what's your excuse?" Said Sho before he took another sip of his drink, this time like she'd shown him how to.

"I don't know what you mean…and if you drink more at once then you'll feel it faster." Said Mob

"I don't want to feel it faster, I want to know why you won't help me. Why not? Why do you think that I can't do it? That I can't save her? Because I'm not as strong as you? Because I'll never be-" Sho

"No! No! It's nothing like that! You know that I could never think of you, feel like that about you, you know that! It's just-" said Mob

"What is it, then?" asked Sho

"I don't want you to get hurt, ok? I just….I don't know what I would do if you got hurt." Said Mob

"That's why I'm bringing you. I know that you hate fighting but this is important. I would have done the same for you if you'd gotten kidnapped and you know it." Said Sho

"But that's the…that's the thing. I don't know if she's been kidnapped and neither do you." said Mob

"I know that she was, I can feel it." Said Sho

"But doesn't it feel like…like what happened with Mom?" asked Mob. Sho didn't say anything. He just gave her a look and finished the rest of his drink. Mob watched his face turn red and scrunch up. Serizawa kept on glancing up at him. Mob didn't blame him. That was a lot to drink at once even if you knew what you were doing…which Sho didn't. She used her powers to push the garbage can nearer to him in case he had to throw up.

He didn't.

He just finished and put his glass down onto the table. The polite thing to do would have been to pour him some more…but she didn't know if that was smart. His face was still red, though that happened every time he drank. She kind of wanted to take a picture, it was adorable, but she didn't. She knew that he wouldn't have liked that…he didn't seem like he was in the mood right now. He didn't seem like he was in the mood for much of anything…anything but another drink.

She left the bottle on the table.

"Mom wanted to leave. This is different and you know it. I know her, I know that she didn't want to leave." Said Sho

"Sho…how well do you really know her? You've only met her once-" said Mob

"So have you! How do you know, how can you pretend to be such an expert, if you only met her once and that was just because you had to fight with her. She actually talks to me and…and she didn't leave. She didn't want to leave. Something must have happened. She loves Dad-" said Sho

"So did…so did Mom, and she still left." Said Mob quietly

"Don't compare Shiori to our Mom." Said Sho

"But can't you see, Sho, that this is just like what happened with Mom? She was there one minute and gone the next and-and Dad…Dad turned everything upside down looking for her but nothing helped and…and we never saw her again. We got our hopes up that she would come back and she never did and…and I don't want that to happen to you. Please, little brother, listen to me and…and just think about this." Said Mob. She reached out and tried to pull Sho in for a hug…but he took a step back. He backed right up into the desk. His cup rolled off the desk but didn't break, no, Serizawa caught it.

She was grateful that at least she didn't have to clean that up.

"You're wrong, Shigeko, you're just…you're wrong! Shiori isn't our Mom and she doesn't want to be, she said so, so it's not like with Mom at all." Said Sho

"Little Brother-" said Mob holding out her hand. Sho pushed it away.

"If you don't want to help me then-then fine, I'll figure it out on my own. I'll find someone else. Someone who actually cares about me-" said Sho

"I care about you, Little Brother, that's why I just…I don't want to see you get hurt again, ok? That's the last thing that I want…" said Mob

"No, the last thing that you want to do is to help me." said Sho before he turned around and walked right out the door. Mob held out her hand and tried to get him to stay, tried to make the words come out, but the only thing that came out was a sad sort of sound. He didn't want to be there, he didn't want to be with her, and she…she couldn't make him stay…

She wanted to.

"M-Miss Suzuki? I caught the glass…I mean it didn't break." said Serizawa. Mob nodded. She turned around and took it from him with her powers. She put it down on the table besides hers…and poured herself another glass.

"Thank you, Serizawa, thanks so…so much…." said Mob

"I-I'm sorry, about Sho…I mean I don't know what happened, I mean I do know what happened but I don't, too." said Serizawa.

"I had a mom, her name was Masami, and she left. She put us to bed one night and then when we woke up she was gone. She didn't even leave us a note…Dad was sad. When he gets sad he gets mad, that's how he shows all of his feelings, and he was really mad when she was gone. He yelled at everyone, us too, but that was normal. There were people coming in and out of our house…I'd never seen so many people at once before outside of school…Mom was supposed to take us to school but she didn't. So we never went back. We left the house, too, and we never went back…and Dad was sad for a long time. We were all sad. It took a long time for us to get back to…to not being sad and…and I don't want Sho to be sad ever again." Said Mob before she finished her second drink. It just happened. It just came out, like word vomit. She just talked and talked…and it felt better. it felt like she was lighter than before…like she was floating up off the ground…

She checked, she wasn't.

She was still standing in the same spot. She was still there, in her office. There was a draft. The door was opened, Sho hadn't closed it behind himself when he left…when he left her. When he went out to get hurt. His feelings and…and other things, too. If dangerous people really were involved then…then he was in trouble…but she was sure that there was another explanation than dangerous people and kidnapping.

Dad would never have let that happen to her.

He loved her. Dad loved Shiori more than he loved her…more than he loved his own family. He had chosen Shiori above his own family so, of course, he wouldn't just let a dangerous person take her away. She had guards, too, Shimazaki had been one of them and he did very good work. She knew that Shiori had left on her own…she knew that it was just like with Mom…and she knew that it would happen again the next time Dad fell in love…why did he do it? If he knew that he was a jerk, and he knew that every girl he was ever with would leave him, then what was even the point of falling in love in the first place?

She didn't get it.

She heard the squeaking of a chair and before she knew it there was a hand in hers. There was a shadow over her. She didn't look up. She just leaned backwards into the chest behind her. Two arms wrapped around her and pulled her in close. She let them, even if they did crush her a little bit, her skeleton…

She didn't mind.

"I just don't know what to do…" said Mob softly

"I-I think that you'll figure it out…like earlier with the butter. You always know just what to do, Miss Suzuki, you're the smartest person that I've ever met in my life. I can…I know that no matter what happens I'll always be able to count on you to know just what to do." Said Serizawa as he held her close. She nodded and let herself be held.

"I…I do, I guess. I mean I have to, don't I? I'm the one in charge. I'm…I'm the Vice President…I'm in charge of this family. I'm Suzuki Shigeko." Said Mob. She just…she wanted Sho to be happy…and helping him would have made him happy but…but if she hadn't been kidnapped, which Mob doubted she had been, if she had just ran away then….then there was no point in looking for her. She knew how impossible it was to find someone who didn't want to be found…but Sho was so upset….

She wished that everything was as easy as…as just add butter…but it wasn't. Sometimes things were just so complicated…sometimes there were things that she just couldn't understand.
