We managed to help out both Celine and my lord wraith before things ended up rather messy, I checked if Celine was really ok after the many blasts that she had to endure before her armor went from full to zero real fast, but she told me she's ok and the surprise to her only caught her off guard.
Can't help but think this surprise was meant for both of them instead of the 'supposed' traitors who turn their backs on them willingly this time, but I guess the big ones are the obvious one's to take out.
Either way I kept checking on her if anything else was wrong, but she kept telling me that she's fine and all good. Even though I wanted to believe that, I am too scared for her safety, I know she is so much better than me with guns and skills alone. I still otta keep on the lookout for anything she needs to feel both better and ready for the next attack, funny how things are the opposite instead of me being the famous one that has to be taking care of, eh. It comes with a good quality brother of mine who showed me how to be something that Marie should have done all those years ago.
But beside that, Nicky is checking on our lord's health or his suit armor more like, he is covered in what looks like a black powder with a faint white smoke coming off of him, but from the looks of it he's doing just fine. I know that because he gives us the thumbs up, but since he is interagading one of the still brainwashed octoling soldiers, he's kind of occubide. demanding some answers on how they get the stuff in the first place.
him using his multi arms grabbing him real tight in the air, as if he was squeezing his brains out. and surprisingly he is only calm, which is weird for a god of greed like him, one can only comprehend what he is thinking right now. his arms are folded together as he's still holding him like a doll, before the soldier insulted him with things can't do this and can't do that or whatever as I was just ticked off by his stupid face to insult him so casuly like that, but he still remained calm.
Not mad or bothered, just standing there, watching him. Suddenly his being slammed on the ground three times before sliding him once on the floor. Then he shook him around to give him some motion sickness, three methods did not work as he still didn't say anything. hmp...Stupid brainwashed octoling.
Then I saw Zoe, who I could describe as a metal flower, with her changing colors and forming all kinds of odd and cool shapes to make so she can show us how she can express herself, work and guide us up to this point on, even using the few free arms to twirl around wraith's bodysuit like a majestic being. I just call her 'flower z' just a nice nickname for her on the fly~.
The soldier then jolted in surprise as wraith started squeezing his body tightly, slowly to squeeze out the answers out of him while having his arms legs being mislocated for more painful torturer, offf that's got to hurt really bad. Cuz it looks so fragily painful even tho we have no bones to begin with, I can still feel how his body makes it look like a jellyfish body has easy time with it that I felt a strong shudder of how really wrong that sounds. Wraith moved him closer to his masked face without a hint of stopping this unjoyful thing I'm seeing, all he did was make him either spill the beans or it gets worse, still didn't say a thing.
Wraith then loosened his grip on the soldier before he breathed in grunty pain, once he caught his breath back he looked at him with angry look and said gruntingly that he has no reason for him to spill anything other then his spit on wraith's masked visor, which he really did!...ok, forget the uncomfortable stuff because now I'm really mad!
But before I get to have my anger being unleashed on his disgracefulness on my lord like that as I wanted to give that rude octoling a piece of my mind, he surprised me by throwing it off to the pit. The soldier screamed in panic as he was falling fast.
I switched from being angry to being shocked as wraith looked at his digital holographic watch on his wrist thanks to 'flower z'. Then he quickly grabbed him all the way back up as he looked completely terrified, he said he would talk if he would never do that again...yes!
Wraith then said that he was really disappointed of how easy that was to him since he had much better challeng's back in the day, I felt more confused when he suddenly chuckled after he said that.
I wanted to ask him why and what he meant by that as I noticed something was glowing behind his masked one eyed visore, what is that?...It looks so orange and yellow, it's like very shiny gold. if these are really his eyes, i would ask if he would let me borrow them, just so i could have something to make me feel better and happy on my everyday idol stuff~. Then I saw something strange, golden balls were spinning around like a roller coaster as they looked really pretty. I don't see wraith or the guy anymore, only the goldy balls floating around me that their colors are super pretty with their perfectly mixed orange fruit and golden apple candy.
Kept swirling around me with a feeling of being relaxed and joy beyond what I could ever ask for, like a wind whispering at me that everything is going to be ok and losing the sense of danger more and more as I just find myself mesmerized by their very goldy essence, so happy. but I know that feeling wouldn't last very much forever as I saw something shaped like an animal with soft paws. making rough sounds but not like a stomp or anything like that as It moved closer to me, It didn't want to hurt me or even try to eat me, I don't know what's even going on. I feel like I'm losing my mind with all this thing that suddenly-...wait, It's that….a fox?
Suddenly I was snapped back from whatever fever dream that was before I saw someone shaking my body from both shoulders, Nicky was the one who snapped me back as she told me that I was spacing out for like a solid minute. I didn't even say anything when she asked me what wraith was doing, followed by me asking if I was ok before she shaked me very lightly. Then I shook my head to get that weird hazy feeling out of my head as it felt like I was someplace out of this world. I didn't even know what I saw but it was nice while it lasted at least. Wraith then shouted at us that he didn't get the info he was looking for, but he got something about his old civilization teck. Only problem is how they got it but never knew who and what they got that much info is a mystery. Oh darn dammit...
I looked at what happened to the soldier as I see him on the ground begging for things to stop, while his body is shaking like a traumatised sick guy in the crazy hospital as he's saying stuff like pipe water is pouring non stop at him. with the spiral torpedo water is rising up from below his feet or something. Whatever it is, it's really creepy, especially the water part. I hate it...and good thing I didn't take that scummy human drug thing that everyone wanted so badly to be a part of, gods or so these commercial's should be taken down for good even if it actually works. I feel it's more insulting than anything. I don't care how much they would like to say if they didn't have that many lawsuits against them since it's good business as they like to call it, I want it to stop before the rest of the gods are still alive see this.
And I'm not gonna take it no matter what my friends or other people say. That's good now. I big the defer since that drug has something that always goes wrong anyway.
Wraith:``Alrighty then, we got at least something out of him. Can someone get this guy and take that thing off him please? I'll go on ahead and see if the rest of the residents here want to come back with us" he said humbly as I felt his smile behind his mask.
Nicky:" But my lord, there's no one here but rocks and a huge pit. Are you sure there's people here? Also are you sure doing this guy any favors being like that?" she asked before letting go of my shoulders and do what wraith asked.
Wraith:'' No matter how you look at it, he's still not himself, so I gave him a little something before saying bye bye forever. Not like he ever needed one. and of course i'm sure, z located some as they were watching us in hiding so I'll talk to them if they want to escape quickly back to our sub or stay here until next time. Do the same with the rest of these knocked out soldiers but remember to ask first, Don't want them to come back if they don't want to for some reasonable reasons or not. I'll be scouting and scanning around the area for potential threats or more after so. Go do that" he said before she took the knocked out guy without the brainwashing thing on his face to the rest of her team.
Nicky:``Roger that, if things go well we might have more people on our side to help our cause. Don't worry I'll get more new info on the way, and maybe even of what we're looking for while we're at it. So leave it to us and go do your thing!" she said with a happy smile before wraith gave her a thumbs up as i just pouted and puffed up my cheeks of how she got the praise and I don't.
He left to do his 'codly' business before Nicky just walked right past me with her tongue out mocking me with that smug face of hers of how she got the thumbs up, I huffed while looking away of how annoyed I am with her, still pouting while I folded my arms showing how i'm not that impressed.
So what...I'm sure he already gave a ton of praise to a lot of people out there, when they do his wise miracle work. I'm confident he will give me that special hug to comfort my idol stress just like before. So there!
Just then I noticed that Celine looked at me, shaking her head while rolling her eye's in amusement. I ignored her before I started to think about what just happened, what was that? Seriously, did I really just spaced out?...more importantly what did he just do to him? Is It some kind of special God power? Because the guy said those things like, like he was really there?...T-that's, kind of cool!...b-but also pretty scary.
Celine:" you ok agent 1?"
Agent. 1:" oh!..uhhh, yeah agent 3. Just uhh, a little on the down side but still got tons of energy on me. see?" I said as I smiled widely while I performed one of my signature poses.
Agent. 3:"...alright…also it's not 'THAT' much to do with the pose you know" she said as if she was not easily convinced.
Agent. 1:" yeah but it's the only one i know that doesn't require so much stamina so"
Agent. 3:``Still, you otta tell me if there's anything going on. Were not in inkopolis so try to be clear both head and body cool?"
Agent. 1:" yeah yeah cool. I'll be just fine so don't worry!" I said in enthusiasm while putting a thumbs up.
Agent. 3:``Fine but stay close, we're going to take these guys away from here along with the zapfish. After that we're going to the next stage and repeat the same thing and we're golden just like that. So eye's open and stay sharp" she said as I nodded with a smile before we left to get the rescued octarians out of here as I stayed close to her just like she asked.
Watching everyone doing their thing as we saw the rescued octarians gave us an unsure look, at least most of them are since they don't know how to take this whole thing of being rescued rather than being the opposite like always, guess things don't happen all that often around here huh?...I feel kinda bad.
but there are those on the other hand who were just amazed and thanked us all the same while getting their heads together of what just happened, of course I said your welcome and all that before I talked to them to make them feel comfortable and more. Celine did the same as we talked for a while and learned both their names and their lives, small talks always gives people time to open up a bit.
Same thing with the indifferent octarians but more gentle and no rush, much since they're still new to the whole being rescued thing. At least they shared some of it so no biggie here, after we talked to them and made them feel less uncomfortable we left to wander around for a bit.
I really do love talking, you would say I am only inkling's or so but in reality I just talk to any kind of sealings, especially with the fans because some of them are indeed a biiiit much on the loving side, but they mean well and are still fun to talk to. But the majority of them are actually pretty awesome! They have some stuff to talk about and ways to show us support.
Like singing, making videos, colourful animations, hell even games too! They are sooo freshly wickedly rad!...I just hope my fans don't think less of me after I rescued some octarins. They really need to see what I see, and so do inkopolis.
Laim:``Alright guys, we're going to the sub now. Form a line and follow me"
Nicky:" hey don't I need to do that? I'm the leader here and I'm the one who does that kind of job limmy" she said as she put the guy down who's name is Loff while he is just confused just like the rest of them are.
Ha!...limmy~, what a cute nickname~.
Laim:" sorry nicks, you have to go with them where the next fish battery is. I have to clear things up with Wraith before then. I want you to go and keep them safe for the time being" he said as he pointed at both of us.
Nicky:" oh come on man! You know it's not your fault in the first place!" she pleaded as she's trying to convince him.
Laim:" oh but it is nicks, so far I still feel responsible for the things I shouldn't have done. But, here I am. I still feel that way about everything that happened on that day when I lost myself to his every whim" he said with a sad smile as if he was trying to brush it off as a joke.
Nicky:"but-"
Laim:" I'll do the names and ranks for you, I promise I won't miss one octarian or octoling. Just go with them and we'll join you later, ok?" he said as Nicky looked frustrated but worried too.
Looking back at us trying to get a grip on her role before she told him that she approved his request, while she of course rolled her eyes in sighing disappointment and after rubbing her head, he thanked her despite her role protest with a smile. I wonder if he's going to be ok, I mean I believe Wraith can spare him at least so….let's hope things will turn out good after his personal request.
time skip as Marie is still lazing around in the shack, One leg across the other while eating some chocolate. As she briefly looked at her celine going to the next kittle before she huffed again.
Celine and I are now in the next stage, marching forward to get our next zappy zap fan power back for the city to be working again. shooting the small cube sponge and making it bigger and swim up, rinse and repeat on almost every platform we see to get across . Soon after Nicky joined us after using a hidden route in the pipes, she traded one secret with me for a special autograph. But I guess it's one of the perks of being octarian huh? knowing your way around in the underground and being bold to the end of it all, but i also hope that it doesn't count as a racist way of thinking, b-but i'm only counting my own luck if it was...i think.
We mostly snuck around the place without any problems, but occasionally we had to fight off more enemies head on with the no killing rule obviously, I don't want to have blood on my hands for no reason since this is just the start of me being part of wraith's work, and I do hope his work is going to help me reveal everything that's been hidden all these years. since most of my friends and i I've dying to know what really is going...Hope is the same with mine too.
Nicky:``So, just throwing that out there. How long have you two known each other since both of you are not exactly in the same boat, cuz you seem very close as far as i see" she said as we stopped mid way to the next five more checkpoints.
Agent. 1:" hey! were still on a mission you know" I said as I stopped rolling.
Nicky:" yeah i know but, i feel like it's good to have it out there now before we might never get the chance again. If you feel like it at least " she said while keeping an eye on the enemy's.
Agent. 1:" not going to tell octo-gall. There so much things i'm not going to tell"
Nicky:" hey I'm Just saying"
Agent. 1:" well too bad cuz i ain't-"
Agent. 3:``We met coincidentally on the beach, somewhere in the criminal zone of inkopolis. Rad place actually"
Agent. 1:" agent. 3! What are you doing? We can't share that!"
Agent. 3:``It's not like we have that much of a story or history really. I got lost, you were doing something that I promised not to tell anyone. And that's it…really puts you in a bad spot if you're not that careful in the first place doesn't it?" she said like it's no big deal it all as she has her smug face on.
I just looked at her with an extreme form of death glare and added pouting noises to show how I Am not happy with her spelling it to her, and of course she's milking very hard with that damn face. Then I heard Nicky before I looked at her as she was holding her breath trying not to laugh and didn't help her chuckles say otherwise. I tried to think of some clever come back but all I got was just a frustrating stutter before finally got my words.
Agent. 1:" i-i..you still can't share that! We still don't know her to be that trusty!"
Agent. 3:`` and yet so far you're getting along with her just fine, what happened with that trade secret a few minutes ago?" she said as i just left my mouth opened in disbelief.

Agent. 3:" specifically you" she said as i just yelled back at her which made Nicky Job holding her chuckles became almost impossible.
Agent. 3:``And another thing, it's not like we're broken friendship protocol. We never even officially made one so it seems to me she's 'trusty' enough with that info. And bonus, we could use a third person in our gaming sessions in the future so it's all good"
Agent. 1:" oh yeah you right, glad we sort that-NO WAIT"
Agent. 3:``I'm glad you saw it my way, agent 1. Good talk, now let's get going. I think I found the next checkpoint" she said while ending the conversation with a blast off towards the enemy.
Agent. 1:"wha?...what just happened?...Nicky what just-(sees Nicky bursting in laughter on the ground)...hey get up and Stop laughing!" I called her but she just lost it completely.
I was both embarrassed and angry at the same time but mostly confused about what just happened. Nicky was just rolling around with her hands holding her stomach captive in unescapable laughter, and because of how she totally failed to hold it I quickly ditched her and ran off to blow all this confusing steam with my roller. While speeding my way to total victory if I have too!
I passed and dashed through some of the enemies while screaming my lungs out in anger, most of them ran away but had no way to run since there's no more place they could run from my roller. Next platform? I don't think so buddy! Because without that spongy thing being decreased. You're as good as mine!
All this was too much of a perfect chance to not show off something that they will never forget!...oh right, they're brainwashed.

And to be honest this might be the first time I felt really angry about the whole thing being said by agent 3, and to someone new no less! And it's un-octoring of all sealings?...After this mission is over I will get her back for this.
As for her she just cleared her side of the area as she was just watching me with her smuggy face still on, like usual she is just so insufferable when she puts it on. And now I feel more frustrated as I just yelled at her to stop looking at me with that face, only to reply with a sarcastic shrug before pointing behind me.
Felt a jolt from behind as I knew what she was doing this whole time, looking back to her I saw Nicky was holding agent 3's phone with the light's are on, as it already clued me in that she was already recording me this whole time.
Nicky:'' gotcha~" she said with a giggly tone before pressing the stop button for the recording as i just looked at her in distraught….they played me?
Agent. 3:``good work nicky!...I'll add that with the collection like usual and give you what I promised in return!" she yelled as I was still distraught before I let go of my roller of how unbelievable it was that it happened again.
Nicky:" thank you agent 3!...I'm really looking forward to it!" she yelled back with her hugging the phone like a tiddy bear.
Agent. 1:" YOU DID IT AGAIN 3!?" i yelled at agent 3 as she just nodded with a smile like she is sooo proud of herself before running off to the next chick point.
Nicky:``I can't believe it, agent 3 is right about you being cute when you're angry~. I have to get in this"
Agent. 1:" no you don't!" I said as I tried to take the phone away from her.
Nicky:" ah uh uh ahh~. No touching the goods``
Agent. 1:`` I'll touch your goods if you don't give it to me, you octo-kluts! I'll end both of your deals now!" I yelled to her more but she kept the phone away from me as she played this little game of trying to capture the flag...or in this case a phone.
Nicky:``Come on agent 1 you can do it, i believe in you"

Agent. 3:"You're doing great out there! Just a little longer!" she yelled as she is really enjoying this way too much.
Because while I was trying to get the phone, I saw agent 3 is watching us from far away with her fighting the enemy at the same time, feeling like I'm getting trolled in both directions with no way to win this prank battle. I hate them both!
?:" what is actually happening?" said a confused voice before we saw who was talking…..it was laim.
Standing there while processing what he was seeing, I felt both embarrassed and idiot of not noticing him from the start. I'd say it's funny how much of a thump truck he is and somehow got close without a problem. But I think I want to keep that for myself until I get that damn phone!
Laim:``Nicky? mind telling me what are you doing?"
Nicky:" oh im just-mhf!" she was about to tell him but i shut her mouth with my hand covering her.
Agent. 1:" nothing!...nothing is happening!"
Laim:``Are you really positive about that? Because it looks like you guys were fucking around with that phone"
Agent. 1:" yeah im positive! There's nothing your trucky thump truck brain needs to know about``I said as Nicky was laughing as I felt her breath in my hand.
Laim:``First, ouch. Second, I was only asking so don't worry, and third. wraith is going to take care of the other stages and go right to the so-called boss kittle Were the next machine is waiting for us"
Agent. 1:'' oh you gotta be kidding me..why do that while we can just work as a one team anyway?"
Laim:``After our little talk, some more higher 'cods' technology weapons that the soldiers are using specifically to get him, they shifted their target from us...to him, his high priority now. So he told aiva and ivy to retrieve all the zapfish and quickly go to the last one, before things get way worse than they already are now. It also means that makes things a bit easier on our account I think" he said with no hint or clue of fear in his eyes as Nicky just stopped laughing almost shockingly.
Fred then came from behind laim while whipping and dusting off some ink mixed with black powder...da freash fuck?
Fred:" shit…fucking self explode walkie's, tryed to get myself away from them but my armor took the blow, I should greatful for that but his getting really desperate to take him down. And I was saving it tell the next machine we have to worry about after beside the giant walking square depressed face thingy" he said as he finished Dusting his somewhat damaged armor until he looked at me and Nicky with one eyebrow.
Laim:``well I won't be surprised honestly, since it's pretty clear he's doing a good job keeping the city safe and even overtime. Imagine him doing the same thing here but less effort put on to it"
Fred:" ok…but if he is that good shouldn't we head back and do something else instead? Or keep going with our investigation?"
Laim:" do you really want to disobey him and let him down then?"
Fred:" what!? No no, I'm happy to be by his side and I'll follow him till everything is over. I'm just wondering since his doing good solo so far"
Laim:" he is yes, but with zoe unable to hack or control things that have no form of control. At least to my theory, she won't do much with our network being the only use for nothing but report and info. Which has already come in handy before we started this mission, So in short he needs us to pick up the pace in Zoe's stead we're she can't reach. So no lollygaggin until then alright?" he explained and declined casually just before an enemy got to attack him from behind but Fred punched him away.
Fred:" hmm...i guess that is true. Tons of havely guards are surrounding the big gates, surely she can only back him up with only so much but…she can just hack that right?" he said just before Nicky took my hand off to say something.
Nicky:" no can do buzzero, they're not mitric. There are Kay cards only, so we have to steal those to advance our movement. I'm also sure she will keep us all in check so at least we have that right?" She also said casually like nothing bad is happening in her form of bravery.
...if I ever was like that back then when the first time I picked up a splattershot. I might be just as good, but I can't even do a sniper because they're so...weird to shoot with that long distance. It kind of makes me woozy. not a fan of it anymore after what I did to my, well…um… mother..ehehe~...but I have to agree that Nicky is right about Zoe's natural goddess-like danger awareness has really proved to be already awesome from the get go.
Agenet. 1:" yeah yeah, she is really good at that. Can't exactly find someone who can spot every upcoming danger then her! I should know because she protected me with clever tactics!" I said with encouragement before they all smiled in the same agreement as Nicky doing a thumbs up.
Agent. 3:" iiin coomiiiing!"
The moment was interrupted after agent 3 came down from upov while screaming in warning with someone on one arm with the inkzooka on the other…ah, classic inkling rocket, Love those~. even the screaming soldier was panicking like a screaming screeching kid, the kind that one you want to slap a unbehaved brat. It really fits! Agent 3 finally crashed down with style as the enemy's goggles were done for completely, stopped screaming too. As for his body….wellll.
A-anyway the important thing is that he's back to normal now, her crash splash is really like a volcano kind of but it was still cool. She got up and did a pose to exaggerate her coolness like she always does when she does that….pussh, show off~.
Nicky:" wow 3!...That was awesome! Can you show me how to do it next time?" she said as she left from my locked arms before giving her the phone...damn it.
Agent.3:" nope, secret technique for agents only. I promised you for the other thing and that's it"
Nicky:" oh come on pleeease~? Can I change the deal for that?"
Agent.3:``No, we're still on that. So no back going on it" she said with a smile as she waved her phone before going back to that guy.
I did ask her but she just looked at me with this mocking eyebrow thingy as if she has the high ground, i really hope one day i get to get my fair share of pay back once this is over, also the guy was as would anyone expect is confused and started asking questions about what happened and like sooo very worried kind of asking before looking back to fred.
He went over to him rather fast as Fred tried to calm him down and tell him exactly every detail he needed just before wanting to know where he was last time, he managed to calm his stressful tentacles and started to breath slowly. Looked at his surroundings and us of course but trying to keep his cool about the fact there's two inklings being here in this platform, not wanting to pass out from confusion.
Finally gave us his name, and started talking nonstop about file this and file that. Going here, going there. It's a long story but I'll shorten this whole story. Fred's old friend named Malac wanted to do some computer stuff before he got his mind screwed after Fred called him over under Liam's orders, then you guess what happened next.
After that he doesn't remember much, other than having the big gate kay around here somewhere, that got Fred, Liam and nicky excited and saw this as an ironic miracle to take it with them now for future hit back on the king. but of course as anyone would have guessed it is not that easy.
It's pretty much heavily guarded and all that, also there not that stealthy to slip by to take it without getting the whole place going into a frenzy warzone if they knew what they were planning. Even the two stealthy pinky's as nicky liked to call them are not exactly trained for something this crazy. They're really good but not extremely expert on that, so they need our mighty prince of darkness- I mean 'cod' to make this possible.
But they also said that we need like three or two more members for that kind of dispatch or whatever that word means to take the kay card and possibly get something extra while they're investigating the place.
As they kept planning and talking I just got bored and started to wander around the platform, kicking some metal rock pointy things and started to think about a few things since the action has stopped for a good while now. It did start to be sort of easy but looks like we're not going to be that much trouble now, since our lord and savoir is the main target now.
I mean I should feel safe that he's here...but, even I have my own wants and needs to see him in the first place. But feeling safe is not one of them, I just wanted answers, answers of why the family is torn apart really bad because of her. And why do I have to put up with it for the rest of my life. And I figured if anyone has those answers it has to be him, or at least help me find one...if not then….i, really don't know what to do after that.

Then I won't know the truth anymore if I am not myself to know it.
My feet stopped at the edge of the platform as I looked at the coming octolings soldiers along with ore octarin stuff, but i felt cold shoulders only as my feet felt very much the same.
