Eric flew down to the window, tapping on it with an amused smile. Belle was brushing her hair when she saw him. "GAH!"
Belle flew backwards off of the bed and he smirked as he heard a loud lump. He saw her pale hands grip the sheets on the bed as she pulled herself up, glaring at him. "I hate you, corpse."
"Why?" He asked when she walked over and opened the door.
"You scared me half to death. I hate surprises, stupid corpse!" Belle yelled at him as usual. "What the hell are you doing out there?"
"Waiting for you to invite me in," Eric threw at her, still smiling.
"Can all vampires fly?" She asked curiously and Eric wondered if she wanted to fly someday. Her eyes were bright on him as she looked down at the ground and then up at him with wonder.
"Can all humans sing?"
"Don't be a smart ass," she replied. "I can't sing so I'm guessing that not just any corpse can fly, huh? Fine. Come in."
"So, um, how goes the search?" Eric asked as he came through the window and started to look around the small room then back at Belle who stood in a light blue robe.
"Turns out, my mom's kind of a bitch and I want something else," she said softly. "I hate being a witch and wish it could all go away."
He watched curiously as her fingers touched his chest, her head leaning towards him as if she were smelling him. When her head was closer to him, he smelled her hair like he always did whenever she was close to him. He made sure to be careful of when he did this since he didn't want her to cause a dramatic scene in front of everyone as she always did.
Belle chuckled lightly. "You smell like the ocean in winter. How is that possible? Usually, you smell not nice, but this smell...I like it."
"That's not possible," Eric told her, amazed by her power.
"You played by the North Sea as a child," Belle replied with an amused expression.
How could she, Eric thought as he looked closely at her. He felt more drawn to her than ever. "Yes. How did you know?"
Belle smirked widely. "I'm something special, Eric. According to my mother, I'm pretty strong. As long as I'm touching you-touching your energy, I can see inside of your mind."
"Not even you can do that," he said in disbelief.
"Come on, corpse," she murmured seductively as her hands slid across his shoulders, pulling the jacket off. Her eyes gleamed brightly. "I blew up entire cities...I think I'm powerful enough to see what's going on in the blonde head of yours."
Belle pulled him close to her as she began to kiss him passionately. "Touch me. Eric, don't stop."
Eric's hands entangled themselves into her brown curls as her hands travelled all over his chest. Belle laughed into his kiss as he squeezed her butt. Belle pushed him down onto the bed, smiling as she untied her robe and bit her lip when she straddled his thighs. Eric's gaze on Belle was full of lust and hunger as his hands went all over her body. Eric kissed the side of her breast, but Belle's hand on his chest firmly held him back down.
"You want more?"
Eric's eyebrows knitted in confused. "Huh?"
"You want more?" Belle questioned except it was Yvetta's voice instead. Eric blinked furiously and came back from his daydream. Yvetta gave Eric a weird look as she stopped dancing on the pole and was now looking at him. "Or I boring you?"
Eric shook his head a little bit and waved her away, his mind tenaciously gripping onto the idea and dream of Belle herself. Her eyes, her smile, her voice, her curly hair, her breasts-Eric stopped the thoughts quickly as he commanded, "That'll be all."
Pam surveyed Eric as he hastily got out of his chair and walked away from the eyes of everyone in the bar. He went to his office, slamming the door behind him as he let out a heavy sigh.
Why was she always there, he thought urgently as he gripped his head. It's like a poison I can't find the cure for...no, she needs to leave my mind. She doesn't belong there.
Godric carefully watched the brown haired girl as her face turned almost red as she started to hit the wolf in front of her meanwhile the blonde one, the waitress tried to hold her back. He smirked, knowing that they were foolish to think that they could tame such a woman. Godric hid himself in the shadows of the trees, buildings, and even in the crowds of people.
He always kept his eyes on her, desperately wanting to know what was so special about her that caused even his child to become entranced with her. He knew that she was not some simple witch. No, she was much more powerful than she led on. When he touched her, he felt this surge of power course through him that even being in the same house as her last night gave him power. He suspected that his child felt the same thing.
He always was so greedy even with his prey, Godric mused in his thoughts.
Godric's lips curled in a conniving way as a plan started to form in his head. He wanted to test this relationship between Eric and the witch. He could slowly start to see that Belle is starting to have feelings for his child.
The usual first sign is jealously.
You scumbag...you better answer me or else, corpse.
I had it up to here (the top of my head) with the stupid corpse! He's stalking me and I ain't liking it. Not that I ever would in my entire life. But the dang blonde idiot isn't answering my calls.
"Are you...why you calling him," Sookie asked in an exasperated voice.
I shook my head at her. "He's gotta learn."
"He ain't gonna answer you."
I started to tap my foot impatiently as the line kept on ringing. He will answer me, I'll make him...somehow. "If I keep bugging him, he will. He'll have to."
Alcide chuckled. "You know-HEY, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH MY PHONE?!"
I scowled at his angry tanned face. "Sharing is caring, dog. Didn't your mother ever teach you that?"
Alcide lunged for the phone in the hand very dramatically. Like I'm talking about entire body in the air type of thing. Sookie's eyes widened at me and I moved out of the way as Alcide came flying at me. I laughed loudly as his body made a hard sound on the hardwood floor.
"Oh, dog," I mused and poked his head, seeing if he was dead. He let out a grunt and I assumed that he was still alive physically, but not mentally of course.
Time of death: 9:47 a.m, I concluded mentally with a large smile. Sookie must've read my mind because she gave me a tiny glare and shook her head as she drank her coffee. With a sudden warrior cry coming out of his mouth, Alcide sprang up on his feet and AGAIN went for me. I blinked and then zapped him. Alcide shook on the floor as Sookie went to his side to help him up and to see if he was even alive.
I frowned. "Dog, I am trying to have a conversation here."
"Why do you even have his phone," Sookie asked.
"Well, I called him and Pam over three hundred times on mine and neither of them answered."
"Sweetie, it's daytime," Sookie reminded me. "They're probably sleeping."
Oh, yeah...I forget that they're dead right now. SCREW THAT SHIT! I NEED ANSWERS! NOW!
"Yeah, don't care," I replied giddily and growled as I heard the phone pick up. "ERIC NORTHMAN, HOW DARE YOU TRY TO HAVE ME FOLLOWED-NA, STALKED! I WILL FIND YOUR CORPSEY ASS AND DO SOMETHING HORRIBLE! AND WHEN YOU WAKE UP TONIGHT, YOU WILL FIND YOUR COFFINS OUT ON THE SEA SOMEWHERE! I WILL KILL YOU-"
"This is Yvetta." A woman answered the phone.
I was completely frozen as I heard her voice and then I regained my composure. "What the fuck? This is just sad. Are you a stripper? I bet you are and since I've never heard of your voice before-which is a stupid voice by the way, you're new, aren't you? Anyways, you outta be ashamed of yourself for doing whatever it is you are doing for those corpses! I would be. I mean he made me wear stuff that even my ex never saw me wear and he was one kinky guy. I mean I'm eighteen and I'm kind of a prude. How is that possible? Anyways, you should dump the corpse before he dumps your body somewhere and I would know since I helped him throw out some bloody sheets one time which is very questionable in my opinion. Are you having sex with Eric? If so then use protection, you don't know where his dick has been. In fact, you should wear some kind of woman protection too...I mean who knows where your vagina has been."
I stopped as I heard cackling in the background of the phone and my hand tightened around the phone. My eye twitched as I ordered, "I'm the main bitch around there so hand the phone over to Pam before I tear those false eyelashes off."
Pam's laughed came closer to the phone as she answered, "Hey, witchy, how's it going?"
"Horrible without you," I teased. "No, seriously, I'm going to kill all of you for sending a dog to babysit me!"
"You get into too much trouble, this is a direct quote from Eric himself," Pam repeated to me, obviously amused by something.
"Sooo," I drawled out. "Who the hell is Evetta? Is she his girlfriend or something?"
Pam hummed. "It's Yvetta by the way. You seem jealous? Eric will love this."
"Shut up, corpse," I hissed at her. "Whatever I don't care anyways. So how is the estate going after I left? Is Marshall still keeping track of the inches to cut on the hedges? What about Mindy? Is she taking care of his laundry? If so then she must make sure it's warm and not cold or else everything will shrink."
"How the fuck am I supposed to know that? But I guess he-oh, wait," Pam suddenly said and I started to hear muffled voices in the background. "Everything is fine, Belle. You are not needed since you left-abandoned us. Eric's new daytime man Mustapha Khan is taking very good care of the estate."
I could very well tell that she was lying to me, but I decided to let it go for now. "Mustapha? What a weird name...what is he?"
"A were," Pam replied with distaste. "He has no pack and he was in prison. I don't know why Eric hired him. I don't like him. He smells."
I nodded. "Alcide smells too. Worse than Eric though."
"Hey!" Alcide growled next to me. "I don't smell!"
"No one cares, dog," I yelled back at him then went back to Pam. God everyone is so dramatic today. Why would a vamp hire a were? I mean weren't they like mortal enemies or something cliche like that?
"Oh, don't be so dramatic," Pam scolded. "You really should get help for that speaking aloud your thoughts thing."
"Thanks, Pam," I said sarcastically then rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Tell Eric to stop stalking me by using poor Alcide to help him...or I'll come over there and castrate him."
Pam laughed. "Now that'll be a sight to see. A witch against a vampire-scratch that a virtuous witch against a thousand year old vampire."
I rolled my eyes. "How many times am I gonna have to tell you guys that I'm not a virgin."
"I like the idea of you being pure. It gives me the chills."
"That's not sounding lesbian at all," I replied sarcastically. "We have a weird relationship."
"I don't think so, witchy…mmkay, night."
I frowned as I heard the line go dead. "WHAT?!"
"What?" Sookie asked hesitantly which actually confused me.
"The bitch hung up on me," I growled and threw Alcide's phone at him. "Here you go, dog, now stop whining!"
Alcide hugged his phone then stormed out of the apartment. You know, I'm really starting to hate this guy. He's becoming a pain in my ass honestly. I glanced at Sookie who kept on smiling at me as she asked "innocently", "So you wanna play dress-up today with me?"
"You know I'm not really into the whole roleplay thing...Eric is though which is strange and awkward for me." I explained to her, slightly moving away from her in worry that she would touch my hair and face. No one touches the hair!
Janice was a hoot. She kept on trying to touch my hair, but I kept STRONG! I decided to go to this party bar thing looking like myself. Hey, I can be pretty scary. Anyways, I found out that Alcide's ex-girlfriend named Debbie (gonna call her Debo or Deadbeat) is actually getting initiated into an exclusive doggy club, drinking V and everything. Ugh, what's so good about corpse blood anyways, probably tastes like moldy milk...you know the kind that goes from liquid to solid. YUCK!
And that she's kind of engaged to the guy she cheated on Alcide with or something. OH, THE DRAMA!
Anyways as she gave a Sookie a whole new look which was completely the opposite of what Sookie actually wore. She was forced to trade light colors for dark ones and she has a black bob, black lipstick and clothes too! She's looks kind of badass to me in my opinion with the awesome tattoos she has.
I waited for my tattoo to dry as Alcide came striding into the room with a new pan. What a loser dog he is...he froze when he saw how different Sookie looked.
I'm pretty sure that he's drooling a little bit. I smirked as Sookie blurted, "Debbie's getting initiated into Coot's pack, and she's addicted to V."
Just don't think about it or Sookie will know and she'll go babbling her mouth to everyone she knows.
"Shut the fucking door," Alcide said incredulously, the smile falling from his face. "Debbie's a bloodhead? How'd you find out?"
"I was poking around in Janice's brain. She didn't tell you because she's trying to protect you."
"Why don't you let her?" Alcide questioned with fury. Poor dog...I almost feel bad for him.
"Because I know you care about Debbie. No matter what she did to you. I figured you'd wanna know if she were in danger."
Mmm, why does that sound like she knows the feeling? I'm very suspicious of Sookie now and what hell happened when I went to New Orleans.
"She's gonna let those fucking mongrels brand her. V's the only reason. It's gotta be," Alcide said, mostly to himself though.
"Of course it is," Sookie nodded. "Maybe it's not too late for you to get through to her. Stop her from ruining her life."
Alcide sighed, "Fuck!"
"That mean you're coming with us?"
"Obviously," I muttered sarcastically. Wait a minute! "HEY! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY US?! WHO YOU TALKING ABOUT, SOOKIE?! I am not going with you to a dog club."
"I probably won't get in otherwise," Sookie continued, fully ignoring me. Rude.
"Fine." Alcide growled out the word.
My eyes widened and I gasped, "What?! This is a stupid idea."
"It's not like you both can stop me anyways," Sookie reminded us. Wow, she is such a consistent pain my pain.
"We're gonna have to go in separate, though. You might be able to fool some with that getup," Alcide told her. "They're just gonna beat the shit out of me, again."
"Oh, what fun, dog, now you two don't go having too much without me," I replied with a large smile.
Alcide grabbed the back of my shirt when I tried to walk away from them and he said, "Northman's I can't let you out of my sight so your juju ass is coming with us."
"I can't go there!"
"And why not?" Alcide challenged.
"Because," I drawled out. "You all smell nasty. I mean-phew! Go take a shower or something, stinky pants!"
Alcide looked down at my totally serious face. What? THEY SMELL! "I really hope that a were kicks your ass tonight."
I scowled. "As if! I can take 'em! Look like a butterfly, sting like a bee-woo, they won't even see me coming!"
Alcide shook his head. "You're crazy…"
I shrugged. "Probably. Hey, Sook have you found anything on scowl lines yet? My mother was useless in finding him...well, I think she wants him gone for some reason."
Sookie shook her head. "Well-"
"Bill broke up with her last night," Alcide told me.
"WHAT?! WHAT A STUPID HEAD?! LET'S GO KILL HIM THEN! WHY ARE WE EVEN GOING AFTER STUPID SCOWL LINES?! WHAT AN IDIOT! LET ME GO AFTER HIM! I'LL TEAR HIM TO PIECES FOR BREAKING UP WITH MY BEST FRIEND-"
"Jesus Christ," Alcide breathed and put his hands out in front of him as if to stop me. "You really are crazy. How are you gonna kill him?"
Is he stupid or something? "I'm obviously gonna stake him, duh. With a big ol' stake too!"
Sookie shook her head vehemently. "Look, I don't what's got into Bill, but I have a feeling that he didn't want to break up with me. He did it to protect me somehow."
I blinked.
"Because he loves me."
I blinked again.
"And when you love someone you're supposed to do everything in your power to save them."
Again. I blinked.
Alcide chuckled and said quietly to Sookie, "Uh, I don't think she understands the concept of love."
I yanked on his ear so hard that he yelled out in pain as I screamed, "I CAN HEAR YOU, DOG! I'M NOT DEAF!"
As Alcide and I fought hand to hand, Sookie sighed heavily and shook her head. If she keeps on doing that, I'm gonna hurt her real bad. "Oh, Lord, why you always getting into fights?"
"Because," I tried to sound gentle to her as I responded calmly. "...THEY DESERVE IT!"
I quickly jumped onto Alcide's back and pulled his stupid doggie hair as he retorted, "Get off me, you crazy witch!"
Uh-oh! Looks like Sookie's got herself into trouble again.
I sat in the corner of the room, gulping down beers. You all are probably wondering why they're letting an eighteen-year-old drink...well, I may have touched the bartender and made him pass out onto the floor for denying me.
I regret nothing. I set the glass onto the table and smiled as I strolled up to Alcide, his ex named Debbie and Sookie who looked worried, but was going strong.
I pushed the two dogs aside who were by Sookie and they growled loudly at me, "Hey! Watch it, bitch!"
ZAP!
They both twitched as they fell to the ground, groaning. I stepped around them, warning, "I don't like being called that unless I use it myself, dogs."
"You are not fucking serious right now," Debbie practically growled at me. What is it with wolves and their growling? Was it a common thing? "You did not just insult me at my own fucking party."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever, dog...this party is kind of lame though. I'm disappointed."
Debbie snarled, "I'm gonna rip your fucking head off especially for what you did to Ralph and Gus."
"You mean Dumb and Dumber," I joked. Sookie and Alcide obviously didn't want me to trigger a fight with her, but they didn't know me that very well. I can control my powers now, every single day I get stronger and stronger since I'm an Enchantress. "Bring it on, you drug addict piece of trash. I love a good bitch fight."
"Enough," Sookie yelled. "Alcide came here despite every good reason in the world not to because he believes the woman he fell in love with still lives inside you somewhere. He's willing to risk his life to make sure that you hold onto her, even if he doesn't get to."
Debbie looked guilty and slightly hopeful for a moment as she looked at Alcide. I sighed. I don't know why Sookie and Alcide put themselves through trouble for their exes. Bill cheated on her and told her everything he felt for her was a lie and Debbie practically did the exact same thing. Why would you...why would anyone spend that much energy fighting for something that is gone?
"You would do anything for your dad," Sookie reminded me. Clearly, she read my thoughts WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! "You would do it for love. So why are you questioning are our actions when you would do the exact same thing for your dad?"
"It's not the same. He's family. My family even though he's not my real dad, he's all I got besides Leo who's actually my real brother. They're blood. I would do anything for them because they are family, but...I wouldn't do it for someone who doesn't have any respect for me, someone who's selfish," I confessed. "I may not have ever been in love before, but I know that if you love someone then you can't be selfish, you put their needs before your own always."
Sookie couldn't reply to me because even I knew that she thought that I was right. Her sad face made me a little guilty so I said softly, "Maybe that's what Bill is doing. He's willing to be with a woman he hates for all eternity as long as you're safe."
Sookie smiled victoriously. "I knew you always had a good heart."
"What's it like to be in love," I asked very softly so that no one could hear me.
Sookie looked surprised for a moment as she inquired, "Wait, you've never been in love, Belle?"
"I thought we already covered this-"
"So you never loved me," a man voice spoke out from behind me.
I cringed as I turned around and faced my worst mistake ever. "Cooter. Ugh, I thought I put thousands of miles between us!"
"Wait, you know this witch bitch, Coot?" Debbie asked angrily.
Cooter looked very smug as he swung his arm around her shoulders. "Pack meet the infamous Belle Deveraux. The witch who broke my heart. My ex."
Sookie and Alcide looked towards me as I crossed my arms and Alcide said in a accusing voice, "So that's why you didn't want to come here? You were with Cooter."
"Sadly," I added in. "Let the record show that I broke up with him because...well, just look at him!"
Alcide shook his head as Sookie forced herself not to laugh by biting her lip. "Our exes are together."
I looked at him with caution. "I think we have more in common than either of us know, Alcide Herveaux."
"So you two fucking each other-" Debbie started to say and I gagged.
I looked completely disgusted at her as I growled, "Don't ever put the dog and I together again! I already have two old as dust vampires coming after me, I don't need a dog after me as well."
"I agree," Alcide said, nodding.
Cooter shook his head. "You never change, Elle. I'm hurt that you said that we weren't ever in love because I can remember times when you said otherwise."
I smirked at him. "I said that I could see myself falling in love with you, Cooter. I never said that I was."
"So he's why you hate werewolves, huh?" Sookie asked. "Why do you hate vampires then?"
I shrugged. "They all smell."
Cooter came closer to me and shoved his finger into my face. "You said you liked my smell."
I pointed my finger back at him and reminded him once again, "Ah, but remember how I kept on getting you cologne and body spray, Cooter or how sometimes I let out huge breaths. I was on a strict breathing schedule because of the way you smelled."
Alcide and other wolves around us started to laugh, but Debbie and Cooter did not look happy at that. I shrugged and continued, "I'm over it, Cooter. You fuck whoever you want to. I can't really give a shit anymore since I already have too much on my plate and ex-boyfriend drama will be crowding it a little."
I gave a nod to Alcide and Sookie, "Hey, I'll be outside when you're ready."
"Be safe," Sookie warned as I walked away.
I started to walk out of the noisy as hell bar when I accidentally bumped into someone. "Sorry."
"It's alright, darling."
I snarled, "Gary, what the hell are you doing here?!"
"It's Godric," he corrected angrily.
I opened my mouth to call for Alcide and Sookie, but Godric put his hand over my mouth, giving me a fanged smile. "Don't take it personally, it's just business, witch."
I widened my eyes as he tied me up and put a cloth in my mouth before throwing me over his shoulder. Godric slapped my butt whenever I kicked him Oh, he's gonna pay for that! I growled into the cloth in my mouth as I looked up and saw a smiling older man with his brown hair pushed back. He was elegantly dressed and looked powerful.
"Thank you, Godric," he laughed. "I've been looking for the witch for a long time now."
He nodded. "I remember you liked to collect things much like Louisiana did, Russell."
Who is Louisiana?!
"Sorry," Godric said. "She tends to speak her thoughts aloud. A lot."
I squealed as he smacked my butt again, this time harder than the last one. I really hate Gary. It didn't help that he was stalking me either.
"Yes, the queen does love her collections," he mused. "Which was why I wanted this one before she could get it. Bring her to my house. I'll give you want you wanted."
"Good."
I locked eyes with Russell and glared at him, vowing that I'll kill the motherfucking corpse once I'm released.
