Ugh, they won't stop looking at me. I felt his eyes on the back of my head.

I whirled around in my chair, yelling,"STOP. STARING."

Cooter, my horrible mistake of an ex-boyfriend narrowed his eyes at me. I was in an extremely large mansion with a bunch of wolves surrounding me, ready to attack. I was in some kind of parlor room that was the color of a dark maroon color. I looked around the room and saw that there was a bunch of weird artifacts around the room. Scrolls, vases, pictures, statues...even a golden crown that stared at me. Okay, I'm not crazy, but I swear that I could hear voices in my head. They were whispering and I couldn't really understand what they were trying to tell me...weird thing.

"You think I like having to keep watch of you. You disgust me. I mean how could you sleep with that wolf-"

I pointed a threatening finger at him as I reminded, "OH, no, dog and I aren't together!"

Cooter then asked, "Okay then what about that dead man? Godric?"

Suddenly Godric breezed into the room, smiling like the cat ate the canary-or well the corpse who ate the human, he had shit eating grin on his face as he said, "Yes. The Little Witch and I are together. We're getting married!"

WWWWWHHHHHAAAAATTTTTT?!

My nose turned up as I opened my mouth to yell at him, but then Cooter beat me to it. "NO fucking way you are! Over my de-"

"Ah-uh," Godic teased as he wiggled a finger at him. "I wouldn't finish that sentence if I were you, mutt. I tend to be unpredictable."

Cooter scoffed and looked extremely annoyed by Godric. Ha! Now he knows how I feel and what I'm basically up against every single fucking day with these corpses. Hey, wait a second!

"Do you just call him 'mutt', Gary?!" I inquired loudly to show my anger. He's trying to copycat me and my awesome personality! Ew. "Nicknames belong to me. That's my thing! He's a dog, you're a corpse, and shifters are the mutts, duh!"

Godric smirked as the man in a good suit whose name I found out was Russell, strolled into the room with his husband, Talbot and Godric handed me a velvet bag with something inside of it that I couldn't figure out what it was. I took it and stared cautiously at it because I was pretty sure that the thing was going to blow up or do something crazy. Russell eyed me and the velvet bag, asking, "Do you have something for me, sweetheart?"

"Hey," I snapped. "I ain't no one's sweetheart, corpse!"

"Corpse?" Russell echoed, completely bewildered by the word that came out of my mouth. He looked around the room for answers, well, he specifically looked to Cooter. "Well?"

"She's crazy," Godric spoke up first.

"Am not, corpse and you're one to talk, pervy corpse!" I yelled furiously at him and then rolled my eyes. I shoved the velvet bag into Russell's chest. "Here. Take this. I don't want it."

Like I would ever accept a gift from Gary also known as the Devil himself Godric of Gaul. Stupid corpse! I will never like him! HE'S MY NEMESIS!

Russell opened the bag and looked into the bag, smiling widely then showed it to Talbot who started to chuckle playfully. Talbot sat himself in a lounge chair with a mischievous smile came onto his face. For some reason, all vampires seemed to have these kind of smiles. Weird things they are...and creepy too like they knew something that you didn't know about. A dirty little secret or an inside joke they all had.

My expression was perplexed as I watched Russell take out a large dagger with a golden handle (because silver would burn their skin off obviously) with rubies, sapphires, amethysts, and emeralds all around the handle. It was really pretty and all, but I don't get why it suddenly so special. Cooter looked tensed as he glanced over at me-wait, why the hell is he looking like I betrayed him or something?! He was the reason we broke up in the first place! I mean who cheats on a girl an hour after you proclaimed your love for her. Seriously, what a jackass…

"Why are you two smiling," I asked suspiciously, narrowing my eyes at all of the corpses. "What's going on here?!"

"Oh, the witch is so loud," Talbot pouted at Russell. "Why must she be so loud and why did you bring her here? I feel as if I'll need to put the maid service on speed dial now to replace all of our beautiful things."

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, brother, I feel as if I'm going to tear my ears out at the sound of your voice, corpse. Do you all always complain?"

I mean I thought Eric was a drama queen, but this Talbot guy makes him look like a child.

"I don't like you. You're no fun."

"Good," I said with a shrug. "I don't care. I would let me go if I were you guys, I come from the original bloodline of witches, a direct one too. I'm basically a princess and I tend to cause explosions according to another corpse. I'm very dangerous."

The room was silent as I smiled widely. YAY!

"I'm a three thousand years old vampire," Russell informed me, expecting some type of reaction out of me. "I've lived through many wars, battles, and deaths so horrible that they'd make you cry right here and now. I'm not afraid of witches least of all you. Now Celeste would be a different story-"

"Oh, I'm not just any witch," I warned him. "I'm an enchantress."

Talbot looked to Russell. "Aren't they extinct?"

He nodded. "Very. I made sure of that two thousand years ago. It's impossible. Everyone out except for Godric and the...whatever she is."

I smiled when everyone left the room. "I visited my mother a couple of days ago and she told me that she had nothing to do with the disappearance of Bill and that you took him. Why?"

Russell looked a little annoyed. "Listen here, witch, the Queen of Louisiana and I want your mother's kingdom. Your family has always owned New Orleans, even when the Authority was created there and tried to take it from your family, they failed. The AVL has their place just outside of the territory and they don't like that."

"So the queen wants that little part of Louisiana, but she can't have it because the Deveraux witches took it first-claimed it before they could. You want the same territory as well. If a vampire owned the territory then what?"

"Then we own the witches, that's how it works," Russell informed me. "If a witch were to take over the state of Arkansas then they would reign over it and it wouldn't be apart of the AVL territory and it would become a witch state again and we would have to obey their laws. Your mother is Queen Celeste Deveraux of the Crossroads-"

"Crossroads," I repeated in confusion. "Why does that sound familiar?"

Talbot smirked and said to Russell, "I'll take it from here, darling. I'm from Ancient Greece, a prince there and in my time as a human, we believed in the Greek Gods. One of those gods was Hecate, Goddess of witchcraft, sorcery, night, moon, ghosts, necromancy, and crossroads. I believe that you come from Hecate, a direct line and that's why they call your family the original bloodline of witches. I don't know very much about this, but I had a very interesting conversation with Celeste when she first came back to town."

Holy shit, Hecate, a fucking goddess is my ancestor and well, that explains why Leo and I are so powerful...even Lillian was powerful too which was my mother killed her I believed. Lillian would've been able to take-over the throne in New Orleans...now who's gonna knock my devilish mother off the throne? Me? Nah, I would just order everyone around and make them do ridiculous things like dress in a fish costume and dance around for me.

I bet Leo would be a good king and I doubt that there's ever been a male king for the Deveraux's reign.

"Came back? Where did she go?"

Talbot shrugged. "Don't know. No one knows anything before Dallas, we thought she was a nobody witch who was fucking the sheriff there. Isn't that correct, Godric?"

Godric nodded. "She hid everything from me. Quite clever. I'm getting a headache talking about my ex and so let's move on with the ceremony, shall we? Russell, the knife?"

Russell looked towards me and spoke, "Before we do, do you know the true definition of an enchantress?"

"No, what are they? I know they're powerful and love to bring out justice to people who try to get away from it. They balance the world out basically."

"From what I learned over the millennia or so, is that an enchantress is a witch who came late to the craft, but learned to use it quickly. They are gifted with the power of manipulation, any sort of manipulation to their will. They could use glamour if they wanted to on someone, vampires if a witch is strong enough. They are very skilled, clever, independent, and by more one of the most powerful kinds of witches out there," Russell explained. "They had to be removed from the world because they were a nuisance for everybody."

"You killed every one of them and why didn't you kill my family then?"

"They weren't like an enchantress, they were ordinary witches," Russell told me. "Your sister, Lillian was like you and your mother knew it too. I think your brother could be one too. I don't know what went wrong with all of you."

"My mother killed Lillian, do you know why?" I asked evenly.

"She crossed her," Russell replied. "Your sister was extraordinary, the queen wanted her-the Authority wanted her once they saw feathers floating in the air or something."

I froze. Those memories...I thought that they were of my own, but no, they were Lillian's. I felt a little envious of her at that moment, the way my mother smiled at her...I knew that she would never smile at me like that. Ever.

Who was that man then? Did that memory belong to Lillian as well?

I'm going crazy. I knew it! All these corpses are gonna drive me early to the grave!

"She was barely a child. She was fifteen years old! She was innocent and didn't deserve to die."

Russell looked at Godric. "Godric, control your wife."

"WIFE?! WHAT THE HELL?!" I screamed at them. "I AM NOT HIS STUPID WIFE!"

Russell smirked. "Yes, you are. He gave you the ceremonial knife that we use in marriage ceremonies and you accepted it by giving it to me, his king, Miss Deveraux-well, Mrs. Gaul, I should say."

What? The corpse tricked me...into marriage. I'm married to Godric. How could this possibly get even worse?!

"Your Majesty," Eric greeted as he came into the room. "You wanted to see me...Belle?"

"Hey, corpse," I muttered, trying to keep my temper in check. I was so pissed off that if anyone talked to me, I would claw their eyes out and tear their skin off. Oh great, this asshole was here now! Why does God hate me?! What did I even do to the guy?! Oh my gosh, is it because of that time I cheated on the SAT's...they were really hard questions! I didn't know what the hell those words meant!

"You cheated on the SAT's?" Russell questioned. "That's quite sad, my dear."

Are they...ARE THESE FUCKING CORPSES JUDGING ME AFTER THE SHIT THEY PULLED ON ME RIGHT NOW?! THIS ISN'T FAIR! I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE BAG!

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. Why is the stupid corpse here anyways?"

Russell sat back in his chair and chuckled. "I was given word that you were his slave-"

"I was his servant," I corrected curtly with a nod of my head. "What's your point, king corpse?"

"Mr. Northman, I would like to introduce you to the newlyweds, Mr. Godric of Gaul and Mrs. Belle of Gaul. Congratulations, she's your maker's wife now."

Eric...had on a scary face right now that I did not want to be on the other end of honestly. In the blink of an eye just as Godric said, "Belle is my wife now, Eric", Eric tackled Godric and threw themselves out of the windows. All I could see was blurred figures and nothing else. I gasped as I saw tree after tree being broken in half when they started to slam each other into the trunks of it.

Talbot gasped too, but for a different reason. He looked horrified at his ruined front yard. "Darling! Do something! Quickly, they're ruining the grass that took nearly thirty years to put in! Do you know that they don't make that kind of green anymore?!"

I quickly sped out of the room and planned to escape while I still had the chance. I froze as I saw Tara tied up in the dining room with a weird pale guy standing over her. She looked to me for help, she looked so terrified that it made me feel guilty for not coming sooner. My hands glowed and I put it towards him, warning, "Stay away from my friend, corpse or I'll release the sun onto your grimy looking skin."

"Well, you're a mean little witch, aren't you?" He mused. "I'll have fun killing you."

I smirked. "Ditto, corpse."

Before we could lunge at each other, I felt Cooter's arms around me and I snarled, "Let me go, dog! I have to save Tara!"

Tara struggled in the chair to get to me, but the ropes around her were too tight for her to escape. I focused all of my energy on Franklin and I watched as he fell to his knees, gripping his head in pain as he yelled, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO ME?!"

I gasped as I felt a pain my own as someone had knocked me out causing my world to become dark.

TBC…

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES!

Well, Godric tricked her into marriage. I would just like to say that this idea came from the novels of the TV series when Eric tricked Sookie into marriage which was hilarious so I decided to apply that idea to evil Godric because he wants the upperhand on Eric, really wanted Belle for a reason even he can't explain, and he wanted to show Eric and Belle how powerful he can be and try to drive them apart(even though they aren't together, he's crazy).

I hoped you liked this chapter.
