Talbot was pissed when Russell took Eric and I out on an "adventure" and not him. So I decided to fan the flames on this sad corpse marriage made in hell!

"Is he always so rude to you," I asked bluntly. "Are you sure he ain't cheating on you?"

"How dare-"

"I mean not that I would because you are an insanely gorgeous corpse," I told him. "Your skin is flawless and your brows are on point-I mean who could turn you down?"

I FUCKING WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT! But I kept my smart beautiful mouth shut for once.

Talbot then smirked. "You're the only one appreciates me, you know?"

"How dare Russell destroy this…" I looked around the home trying to find "nice" words, but was unable to because I fucking hate this mansion. "Piece of art. Your home is where you're so happy so maybe you should be comforted elsewhere if you catch my drift."

Talbot looked amused as he replied, "And what did you have in mind? You?"

I gagged and scowled. "How dare you even think-(deep breath) I am not worthy of you...Eric though seems to have caught your eye."

Talbot shrugged. "I noticed. Then I saw how he looks at you, witch, and I wanted that."

"How does he look at me?" I always hate it when the corpse stares, but even I'm confused on how exactly he looks at me.

"Wanton. Torment. Love."

I shook my head, trying really hard to keep in my anger. "Eric loves sex and I may have given him a hard-on ONCE! That doesn't mean the corpse loves me. I think he likes the idea of me, he's kind of a spoiled prince figure and he likes the chase and the fact that he can't get away with anything while I'm around."

Talbot smiled. "So it's the chase that excites him?"

Hook, line and sinker to the foreign corpse… "Oh yes. He loves to play hard to get. Story of his life if we're being honest here. Oh! He likes body oil too and that song Push It by Salt-N-Pepa! Always gets him in the mood."

Talbot smirked and spared a questioning glance towards me. "Really? I guess some men have their kinks, don't they?"

Yuck! Eric's kink involves role play and me dressed up in some slutty outfit. Nasty corpses they all are.

"My dear, let's hurry," Russell called out and I swear that my eye twitched because Talbot backed away and held a hand over his heart. Finally these corpses are taking me seriously! I could burn them alive if I wanted to! But I won't for Eric...he needs this.

"Let's keep her," Talbot announced. "I'm sure she's quite the entertainment."

What the hell?! "HEY MY LIFE IS NOT-"

Eric gave me a look and I growled, silencing myself as I spoke, "Yeah fine whatever. I'm your fave tv show."

Talbot patted my head and Eric quickly took me away towards the car where I fumed. Ugh! I'm going to kill all of these corpses.

"Thoughts are aloud again," Eric reminded me. I rolled my eyes. "Control. We are going to free Pam."

"Wait what happened? Who hurt Pammy?! I'll kill 'em-"

I stopped talking when Eric started to laugh. "Didn't know that you cared so much?"

"Look if anyone is gonna kill you corpses, it's gonna be me," I confessed with a light shrug. "Besides, Pamela is cleaner than you so her death would mean I'll have to keep scrubbing your nasty ass stained clothes for eternity. Duh."

"I could kiss you-"

"STUPID CORPSE! WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT SPREADING YOUR HERPES TO AN INNOCENT GIRL LIKE ME!"

As Eric and I argued, Russell ushered us into the car, smiling at me.

"Hey did my devilish old hag of a mother really kidnap Bill?"

Russell shrugged. "No one knows. One thing interesting and yet annoying about your dear mother is her unpredictability. One day you're her friend-ally if you will then the next, she's trying to kill you because she's paranoid that you're trying to kill her. Killing your sister was a power play that kept everyone away from her family even the queen...that's gone now thanks to you so naturally all of her enemies have come flocking to here to kill."

I growled. "Whatever. My devilish mother is shady as fuck."

"Devilish mother," Russell echoed in question. "What is with the names? Corpse, dog, old hag."

"It's her way of coping," Eric replied. Ugh, the stupid corpse always says that whenever someone questions my mentality.

"What do you call Miss Stackhouse?"

I had a blank expression on my face. So that's why he invited me...he wanted more inside info on Sookie. Wanted to know what she was, I don't even know what she is, but maybe the covens might. How many covens are there? I need a broomstick-WHERE THE FUCK IS MY PURPLE POINTY HAT?!

"Where is what," Russell asked, clearly surprised by my outburst. Eric was annoyed. Anyone could tell this by the largeness of his forehead...his eyebrows got lower and his mouth thinner-oh and he flares up his nostrils. There's always this fucking nose hair that I just wanna yank out. You all know what I mean? Your friend has that one tiny piece of hair between their eyebrows and you just can't stop looking at it and wondering if they'll let you pluck the fuck out of it...well, this was one of those times.

"My purple pointy hat," I responded unfazed. "My witch hat and all I need now is a broomstick-do you own a broomstick, a flying one?"

"No, that's completely ridiculous!" Russell laughed, sharing a look with Eric. "Those things aren't real, they are simply fabrications of witches."

"So were coffins," I threw at him with a smile. "And yet you guys still sleep in them. Corpses have their coffins and blood and the old hags got their broomsticks and spells."

Russell shook his head and Eric looked behind him. "Where are we going? We should've taken that exit to Fangtasia."

"Oh we are not going to Shreveport just yet, Mr. Northman. First, we need to visit the queen and her vast knowledge of collections."

My fingers tightened in the leather. Damn these corpses, why are they always lying to me about everything? Now I got them after me since my mother is losing her power and I gained Lillian's powers. So basically I got a large ass target on my back...thanks a lot, assholes.

When we arrived at the mansion, Russell and Eric abandoned me in the car. I snarled and hissed at the corpse driver who tried to help me out of the car. He backed away with a curse and held his hands up in defense. Wow, I didn't realize how slow I was into getting into the mansion.

I rolled my eyes as I saw piles of blood and guts everywhere. Corpse guts. Yuck!

How messy too!

I passed various statutes and other expensive things that I'd rather not mention or look at since I may get sticky fingers and take them all. Eric would get mad at me then the corpse would have the upper hand. I WILL NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN!

I pass a very bright room and groaned as I saw a red-headed regal type of woman in a cage-actually she looked like she was from the twenties or was it the thirties... "Oh, god! What the...why the cage?"

She sat up straighter and wait, did she just sniff the air. She looked skeptically at me. "Who are you? You're not a vampire."

"No, I'm not a fucking corpse," I told her and crossed my arms over my chest, walking closer. "I'm Belle Deveraux. Are you the queen?"

"Sophie-Anne," she replied. "Deveraux? As in your mother is Celeste? Your sister is Lillian and your brother is the lovely Leon, yes?"

"Maybe," I drawled out. "Why?"

An excited grin came onto her face as she came closer to the bars. "Oh my, I am so very happy to see your face. I've heard so much about you. You are very beautiful. I knew you would be too when I saw Lillian-"

"You knew Lillian? I thought you didn't like her, I mean isn't that why you sent Eric after her."

Sophie-Anne gave me a very dirty smirk. "I wanted your sister. She was very delightful. I wanted her to be with me forever. She too believed that men were useless beings and she already grew bored of them such as I did."

"She was fifteen."

"True, but she didn't look like it or act like it. Besides, all we did was kiss-"

"STOP!" I yelled, shuddering. "I don't want to hear about you locking lips with my sister."

"Hadley looks like her...my new human-I could never let go of your sister. She wasn't like anything I've ever met," she explained. "I can tell that you are much like her. My god, you are so beautiful. Do you too play for the other team as your sister put it?"

"Nope. I'm a one-way street baby."

"So was Eric Northman," she reminded me.

"Eric thrives with the sense of touch. I swear that he's got a thing for Russell and Talbot, but if it gets him off my back then who am I to judge?" I said, shrugging.

"Oh, I like you. I'm very attracted to you in this moment, Belle."

My expression was horrified as I gasped and backed away. "Are you serious? Not another fucking corpse...how can you like me, you just barely met me! Now this story is just plain stupid. I'm a Mary-Sue now, thanks, corpse, really! Why does everyone want me? I get that I'm awesome, but come on, this is getting a little bit unreal here."

Sophie-Anne smiled softly. "It is because of your exceptional beauty and your sharp tongue. You don't have one of those faces, you're rare I suppose like Celeste, your brother, and Leon. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that a divine goddess is your family. Rarely do humans fight back, you know? You're refreshing."

"I'm an Enchantress just to clarify things a little bit. Second, I'm not following you. I'm not...Sookie's beautiful inside and out. I'm not. I have a bad temper, speak my thoughts aloud, I have an inner slut that comes out whenever whiskey is present, I yell, I assume things, I don't like talking about my feelings, I don't like being touched, I will always be in denial about everything, I'm a sore loser, and lastly I'm pretty sure my heart shaped birthmark is questionable," I confessed.

"Humans these days are always so cautious of the way they look. Yet you don't care...at all. You don't care what anyone thinks of you, such freedom you have is very admirable. I mean why don't you care that you're not a size two?"

I narrowed my eyes at her. Stupid queen corpse. "Hey, don't talk about my weight, corpse! It's perfectly healthy to not be a size two, I'll be skin and bones if I were."

"Exactly," she said in triumph. "You're happy with yourself. Lillian was a lot like that. Then we grew apart I'm afraid when I almost forced her to turn which was why I sent Eric after her in the first place. She ran from me. I gave him some bullshit about politics...I cared about her and your mother took her away which is why one day, I am going to take away everything from her."

"You shouldn't have forced her to do anything, she was fifteen." I told her. "She didn't know what she wanted."

Sophie-Anne shook her head. "But she did know. Sadly, we were forced to be enemies because she was trying to steal my land from me, but that's all apart of the game so who am I to blame her? It was quite clever even I'll admit that. She always was the smartest person in the room."

"What do you want with Sookie Stackhouse?"

Her eyes glittered. "Nothing. She means nothing to me. Lillian wanted to know. Your sister was always sticking her nose in things a nose shouldn't be stuck in."

"And so her findings lead her to Sookie," I realized. "What was she looking for?"

"I don't know."

I shook my head. "You're lying. I don't know how I know, but it's this feeling...you know about Sookie. What is it?"

"I don't know anything," she insisted.

"You sent Bill after her so that can't be true. I think you do know and you're just being a little bitchy corpse about it," I said before grabbing her hand through the sliver metal bars. I didn't see anything, but I heard a name.

"Fey," I echoed after she snatched her hand away from me. "Who is that?"

Sophie-Anne was silent as she turned away from me. I threw my hands up in the air and went outside of the room where I found Eric holding a blonde girl in a white dress.

"Corpse, I touched Sophie-Anne and I heard a name when I asked her about Sookie...it sounded like Freya or Fey, it was weird."

"How do you have a bond with her?" Eric asked, he sounded a bit jealous.

"Lillian," I answered. "Apparently, they were lovers, but don't worry all they did was kiss. She played you because Lillian refused to turn for Sophie-Anne so she needed someone to go find her which would've been you."

"Not surprised since she's always been lying to me, I guess she wanted me to take the blame for that as well," Eric replied. "Good thing I refused her. I think I can make her talk with the help of her new human."

I looked to the girl. "Are you Hadley? I guess I can see the resemblance of you and my sister."

I followed Eric and Hadley into the dayroom. I hate the beach, I always get sad in my boobs and butt. I always get hurt there too! Beaches are not a safe place!

"Hadley, I wish you didn't have to see me like this," Sophie-Anne said with disappointment.

"The reason your human is trembling is because I've let her in on my plan," Eric began. Wait, what plan?

"Which is?"

"Which is to sink my fangs into her and drink until you tell what is so interesting about Sookie Stackhouse that has so obviously peaked your interest."

Sophie-Anne scoffed. "Sookie Stackhouse? I have no interest in her."

"And if I drink too much, well so be it."

"Fine so be it," Sophie-Anne said spitefully, but I could tell that she cared since she already told me that Hadley looked a lot like Lillian, but more chubby.

"Really?" Eric questioned. Hadley flinched when Eric pushed aside her bangs. "You've kept this one around a long time. Must be some reason for that."

"Hey, corpse, keep your pervy fingers away from her hair," I scolded him.

Hadley looked gratefully at me. Eric rolled his eyes as Sophie-Anne inquired, "Why do you care about Sookie? I thought you liked Belle."

"Don't be gross," I reminded her.

"Belle is mine and I care because you do," Eric answered. "And because my king does."

"Your king," Sophie-Anne chuckled. "Russell Edgington is the most duplicitous vampire in the Americas, maybe the world. You honestly think you can trust him?"

"Like I can trust you? The only vampire a vampire can trust is the vampire he made," Eric snarled before biting into her neck. I flinched when I heard her scream, I wanted to turn away, but Eric would never let me live that down for sure.

"Mm, mm, mm," Eric hummed as he fell to the ground with Hadley in his arms, his mouth was very bloody and disgusting too. "I give her three stars. What do you know about Sookie?"

"Nothing."

Hadley shrieked again when Eric tore into her neck. I had to stop this. I couldn't just stand her and let this happen to her. It's not right.

Before I could kill Eric, Hadley whimpered breathlessly, "Stop. I'll tell you."

"Hadley, don't."

Eric surprised at her confession, asked, "The queen's confided in you?"

"Some. But also Sookie's my My cous...Cousin."

"Tell me."

Whatever Hadley had said had surprised and shocked Eric as his mouth was left open and he trained his eyes on the queen. I handed him a napkin which he laughed at as he took it. "Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that."

"You're so messy," I grumbled as Sophie-Anne pouted.

Suddenly, I zapped Eric away and pulled Hadley away from him. She was Sookie's family and I let this happen to her. I felt guilty about letting my best friend's cousin be eaten for pleasure and hurt for information. Stupid corpses!

"I'm sorry, Hadley," I whispered. "If I had known you were Sookie's family then I would have…"

My hands glowed a little bit as Eric stood up and Russell came into the room, asking, "What is going on here?"

"I didn't sign up for this shit," I glowered at them as I held Hadley in my arms. What have I done? Who am I? "I don't hurt innocent people. I'm not my mother!"

Russell chuckled. "I think you're being a bit melodramatic-"

"Shut the fuck up! A girl is dying here! She was...why don't any of you care?"

"Cooter told me that you were dramatic. I mean are you acting this way because I would not kill him. He's one of my best wolves. You did kill your unborn child so naturally he would get angry."

I had a miscarriage...but I guess Cooter is telling lies now. Good to know.

Rage build inside of me as I said in a deathly low voice, "I hope you never find happiness, that your loved ones will be taken from you and your pain will never end. Wherever, you go, you will find torment. You'll never find peace and I swear upon every coven out there and Hecate herself that I will be your undoing. I curse you, Russell Edgington.!"

I didn't notice until it was happening, but my hands glowed every brightly and Hadley's wounds were healed immediately. Russell laughed, but then stopped as the ground started to shake underneath everything. I gasped as I felt a horrible pain in my chest like I was having a heart attack maybe.

In the bottom of my stomach, I knew that something horrible was happening to someone I loved. I blinked as a blinding white light came in front of me. When I opened my eyes, I wasn't in the mansion, I was in the cemetery. I looked around confused at why it was suddenly daylight and the cemetery seemed much more brighter and happier. I looked around again and I saw all kinds of flowers especially roses. I squealed at the sight of them, bending down to smell them. They even had blue ones! Those are the rarest of them all!

"Do you know like them?" A woman in a gold gown asked. She was glittering in the sunlight, I saw the serpents on the bottom of her gown.

"Hecate?"

"Hello, my darling Belle," she said softly. Her brown hair looked golden in the sun as she smiled at me. "Come. We need to have a little chat."

"Where are we?"

"The crossroad between the mortal world and the fae world," she answered. Finally, someone who gives me fucking answers when I ask questions. "After all, I am the goddess of the crossroads. I am here to guide you to a friend of yours. I heard your prayer of the sorts to that corpse Russell and amongst other things too...I've watching you."

"Why?"

"Because your power is extraordinary especially when Lillian gave you hers. It somehow heightened everything in our world."

I raised an eyebrow at her. "Okay then."

"Oh my god," Sookie called from the pond. She and I ran to each other, hugging one another. "You're okay! Where are you?"

"I'm at the queen's."

"Was," Hecate corrected. "You've vanished I'm afraid and will be wherever your heart desires when you awake."

"Oh, Goddess Hecate," the woman beside Sookie bowed suddenly. "I'm sorry I did not greet you properly."

"It's okay...I guess I can let this one slide, Claudine," Hecate said and Sookie laughed looking between us.

"Cooter's dead." Sookie announced. What? My heart felt lighter suddenly and I was breathless, he was finally gone. He couldn't hurt anybody anymore. Though I always wondered why he did decided to hurt me. "I'm in the hospital apparently since Bill drained me. He needed blood-"

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE! HE'S DEAD, SOOKIE! LEMME AT HIM-"

"Calm yourself, child," Hecate said to me, chuckling. "Quite the temper...just like your father. It's in your nature."

"You better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, Hecate," I warned her, pointing at her. She laughed and smiled.

"Woof," she teased.

"Oh, you are lucky you are a goddess," I drawled out. "Anyways, who killed that bastard?"

"Alcide. He was gloating about how hitting you and Alcide just lost it or something," Sookie explained.

I scoffed.. "Typical. Big brother instinct."

Sookie's eyes widened as she yelled out in shock, "What the fuck? Alcide's your...your brother."

I nodded Oops, looks like the dog's out of the bag now, Yikes! I totally forgot that no one knew that he was my brother. "Oh yeah...his father is mine so technically, I could be a dog now."

Hecate scowled. "Oh gods, no! I made sure of that. But that doesn't mean that you can't have the personality traits."

Sookie smiled. "Oh, we know where Leo is!"

"Where?!"

Claudine spoke up after she finished her staring contest with Hecate who was not interested. "Uh, your brother is trying to tap into the dark arts in order to undo the spell placed on Godric. I believed he's located in the Appalachian Mountains, in a hidden cave."

I turned to Hecate and asked, "Hey, immortal, can't you just undo that spell since it was your spell that you created."

She shrugged. "I know every spell that is created, true, but I refuse to undo this one. I think that Godric needs to be disciplined and needs to try to tap into his dark side instead of running from it. Every creature needs a balance. Godric needs to build character."

I sighed heavily. "You are such a pain."

Hecate smirked. "I always hated Lilith's children because they whine too much and are power hungry little turds."

"Wow," Sookie said. "I guess you two really are related to each other."

"I must go," Hecate told us suddenly. "It appears my presence is needed in New Orleans, but before I go, here...I heard you wanted this."

I jumped up and down when she presented a broomstick to me. I gasped as Sookie shook her head, smiling a little bit. The broomstick handle was cherrywood and had a red-orange brush at the end of the stick. There was a Latin inscription in gold on the handle and I read it aloud, "Hecate give me flight."

"I must warn you though to never let another fly it or else they want to seek death," Hecate chuckled lightly as Sookie was holding the broomstick then quickly handed it back to me.

"That's right. No one can take this baby away from me," I murmured, holding it close to my heart.

Hecate glimmered out of the crossroad and I threw my hands up in the air. "Wow, thanks for not telling me anything. I guess gods don't say goodbye anymore."

Claudine looked around as the ground became darker. "She knows. The darkness is coming. You two must stay away from the darkness. Sookie, they will steal your light."

"Wait, where are you going?" Sookie questioned urgently.

I froze as I fell to the ground, passing out for a moment.

When I opened my eyes, I saw that I was in a cave-a dark cave, might I add?! Scary!

"AH!" I screamed when a hand touched my shoulder.

Leo shook his head. "Calm down. It's just me. Hecate sent you?"

I nodded. "Kind of. I was in a crossroad and she just appeared. Oh and she gave me a fucking flying broomstick! Suck it!"

"I was trying to call her, but she won't answer me."

"Oh, well, that's because she won't help you. She's trying to teach Godric a lesson like he's a child, he needs balance," I explained.

"Eric found me." Leo told me. "I gave him some of my power to defeat Russell. I also took away Pam's pain."

"How?"

"We have a bond, duh."

"Wait, you and Pam?" I yelped and gaped. "REALLY?!"

"We hooked up once or twice," Leo explained. "Eric was mad which was why he won't ever speak of our friendship."

I rolled my eyes. "Well, he is a drama queen and he likes to hold grudges. So wait about a thousand years before you try to be drinking buddies with him again."

"Eric needs revenge and he won't stop, Belle. We gotta stay away from the vampire mess he got himself in. We need to pick a side."

I shook my head. "So you're saying that we should be on Celeste's side."

"There is no such thing as equality with vampires. You either win or lose against them. The wolves lost and so did the witches, but now times have changed. Vampires came out," Leo began to say. "We can too. You can be the face of it! Imagine."

"Yeah, imagine all those devil worshipers and what about those bible freaks, they're just gonna burn more people alive," I said sarcastically. "We need to stay hidden for now."

Leo shook his head. "No, I can't stay in the shadows. It's a new world and I won't let the vampires wipe us out of existence like they do with every other supe out there. Goddamn it, Belle, have some balls!"

"I have very big ones thank you very much, but I'm just trying to be smart here and going after the corpses especially with Russell looking for us-"

"Edgington? King of Mississippi, he's looking for us?"

"Oh, yeah! By the way, Celeste is losing power I guess so now we got a large ass target on our backs. Everyone wants a piece of us," I responded.

Leo groaned and rubbed his eyes. "Guess we gotta kill people now, huh?"

"Lots of blood," I realized. "It's gonna be so messy. EW!"

"Get over it!"

"Shut it, boy wonder!"
