God is my grandpa...my old man. He is fucking God! Will he smite me for bashing on his churches?

I don't like them so does that make me a demon then? OH NO! WILL I BE SENT TO HELL FOR SAYING THAT?!

"Stop it," Godric commanded softly as he gripped the steering wheel on our way back to Fangtasia, we are going to save Sookie now. "I can feel everything that you are feeling, remember?"

"Whoops," I chuckled. "But hey corpse, I got every reason to be freaking out over here...I was not expecting this biblical plot twist in my life. If anything I was expecting that my devilish mother came from vampires and she was actually their queen since she created them because she wanted to save the love of her life blah blah blah which was why she hates them because it backfired on her."

Godric smiled. "That's quite amazing actually. You should write."

"Fanfiction? No, I'm no good at the whole shipping and Alternate Universe line thingy," I told him. "But if I did then I know that I would be fucking famous, corpse!"

Godric shook his head. "Perhaps not that particular area."

I smirked and leaned closer, asking, "Aw, Godric please don't tell you never thought about what your life would've been like if Celeste was never born. You probably would've died and well, Eric would've been borishly pining away for Sookie. What a horrible plot line! You should be thankful that I graced all of your lives. I made all of you corpses better."

"Do you mean boorishly? Like rudely, Belle?"

"No. I mean boring just with an -ish at the end."

"I don't think that's a-"

"No," I snapped and pointed at him. "It is a word a-and...God is my grandfather so I'm right and you're wrong, corpse! Deal with it!"

As we arrived onto the parking lot, Godric's head shot up and he sped inside. I scowled and narrowed my eyes.

"Thanks for leaving me, idiot corpse," I grumbled as I got out of the car to see Sookie and Bill running out along with Godric who had a solemn look on his face. I felt sad all of the sudden. I knew that it must've been hard for him to leave his grandchild there, Eric would assume that Godric betrayed him.

"Let's go," Bill urged as we rushed back into the car.

"Where are we gonna go? To my mom's house?"

"Hell no," Sookie screeched. Which actually hurt my precious ears. "Your mother is shady as you put it. So Godric?"

"Yes."

"You scary/evil or are you moral/nice?"

"Moral/nice...for now so keep your eyes on me. I could change back. I can feel him trying to claw his way back out. I might not come back after this."

"How did you come back," Bill asked.

"I caught him off guard in my subconscious. He was distracted by Belle and what he learned," Godric explained. He looked to Sookie. "I am sorry for what Eric has done in my absence, you've proven yourself to be a good friend to all and this would never have happened if I were here."

"I tell you what. That dungeon this time did me in."

"Well, if you'd stayed put as I asked you to." Bill spoke.

I rolled my eyes. "We're women! Heroines. Do you honestly think that Sookie nor I would've just sat back and let you dumbass corpses handle things with violence and bloodshed?!

"She's right, Bill, but I was sitting there in the dark, and I thought, 'I am done with this shit.'"

"That's why we need a fresh start. We'll be free of it, I promise you," Bill told her passionately which actually warmed my heart.

"Imagine that," I murmured in the silence of the car. "I mean imagine the endless possibilities that could happen. A fresh start of life sounds nice."

Godric nodded. "No knowledge of pain and horror. I could imagine myself doing mundane activities."

"What would that be like? Who would we be if we were all normal? It's hard to even picture it. Bill, would we live in gran's house or your house?" Sookie questioned curiously.

"Both,: Bill answered with a soft smile on his pale face. "We'd be married, happily married."

"And I'm not a waitress anymore. I'm I'm going to college," Sookie imagined with a firm nod, excitement seemed to bubble in the air. "No, I'm a real estate agent, and I'm really rich."

I laughed. "Sounds about right, Sook. I would actually probably still be in high school right about now. Worrying about college and how the hell am I going to pay for all of it...and my graduation coming soon too."

Godric gave out a light chuckle. "I would be a sophmore in high school."

"Oh, yeah and you would be pinning away for Belle who's a senior," Sookie added in.

Bill smiled. "They live nextdoor to us!"

Godric looked off into the distance as he said, "Belle would've probably picked on me during high school and always cheated off of my math homework. She would've called me 'Geek' too."

I gave them my most offended look as they seemed to plan out my imaginary future here. "Hell no, corpse! As it may have come to a surprise all of you, I was actually smart in high school. Duh. I mean how did you guys think I got into all those schools especially since I blew up most of my schools anyways. No one can resist a straight A's student like me!"

They all laughed. Rude. Bill started to relive the fantasy he created again. "I teach third grade and I love my job."

Peaceful smiles came onto all of our faces as Sookie said dreamily, "We'll have a a big flower garden."

"We grow vegetables."

"Tara comes over for dinner and sometimes we double date with Arlene and Terry," Sookie responded. "We always make jokes about how the kids, Godric and Belle are too dumb to realize their feelings. Normal adult stuff."

"And I go fishing with Jason."

"We don't even know Eric Northman."

I frowned, sadness suddenly enveloping me. I thought maybe that it belonged to Godric, but he looked at peace. I didn't like the idea of Eric not being in our imaginary dream world. He had to be in there. He could be the cute professor that I pine-wait, a minute, no! Teaching kids is not his thing.

Where would he fit in?

"Everything is peaceful."

Suddenly, the car screeched to a stop as Russell and Eric stood in the middle of the road. Sookie screamed as Russell put his hand on the hood of the car causing all of us to jerk upwards in the air then fall backwards with the yellow tiny car.

I glared at Eric as Godric sped out of the car before I could stop him. Ugh, stupid corpses!

Godric strode for Russell as Eric and I tried to stop him. When Eric tried to interfere, Godric pushed him away and into a lamppost. I watched as Godric started to throw sucker punches to Russell. He had his fangs bare as he threw Russell's body away from him like a ragdoll.

Russell started to laugh, looking not the least bit tired. "I'm three thousand years old, Godric. Do you honestly think that you can defeat me?"

"Yes," Godric said simply before flying them into the trunk of a tree causing it to crash to the ground. "I'M ANGRIER!"

Godric grabbed a piece of wood and had it angled towards Russell's heart before he stopped in mid-air. Time froze as I called out, "Godric? What's wrong? Kill the mofo already?!"

Godric slowly turned around and then charged towards Bill, sticking the stake in his face as he warned, "Don't move or I won't think twice about ending you."

"Godric."

"I thought you said that I was Gary," he mused and his eyes seemed darker than before.

I growled, "You bastard! What did you do to Godric?!"

He shook his head. "Don't worry, darling. I put his tormented soul in a nice place...he won't be pulling any of the crap he pulled tonight for a very long time."

I ran to kill the corpse until Eric held me back. I kicked my legs wildly, yelling, "I WILL END YOU, GARY! I WILL KILL YOU!"

"Then you lose your precious Godric," he reminded me as he moved his hand to my cheek. He howled in anger when I bit his finger when it came close to my mouth. He pulled away as blood dripped down my chin. Russell laughed and said, "You truly are quite the entertainment. I'll enjoy breaking you."

Russell's become my nemesis now. I thought Eric was the worst corpse I ever came across, but Russell surpassed every corpse. Gary was on my shit list too especially since he couldn't keep his mouth closed about my family. I guess Godric coming out to be the hero really didn't suit well with him. He was so bitter and it was nasty.

"God," Russell questioned. "You mean Christianity and all that bullshit is actually real? You're lying."

"Not Christianity exactly. I don't think that it's a coincidence that Celeste's name means heavenly...after all, each of the archangels who are children of God all represent some part of him. She's the first witch and Hecate created all the rest of them including Lilith herself," Godric explained to the shocked faces of everyone. I hated how they all kept on looking at me like I was something odd and unrealistic. So what? God is actually real and so are angels and demons. Whatever. Get over it. "There is God, and then his wife who is mostly known as The Great Mother, Moon Goddess or Hecate. Lucifer is real and I'm assuming some of the archangels are real as well. Bring him in!"

I watched as my father, Don was dragged in by Pam who threw him onto the ground. "Papa!"

I ran over to him and held his bleeding face in my hands. His face was swollen and bloody. "I'm sorry, Belle. I failed you…I'm sorry I didn't tell you about everything, but I didn't want you to look at me differently."

"I don't care who my real dad is. Your family are the people who raise you and always have hope in you no matter what. They are the people who stick by you and love you no matter what which is what you did," I muttered, holding his cold hands into mine. "You're so cold."

"Leon is an angel which means that Celeste at some point...yeah, which is a no-no up there as angels are supposed to be pure-no sex, marriage, love etcetera which is how Don was cast out of heaven," Godric revealed. "So Don...an angel, huh? Do you know what angel blood does to a vampire, Russell?"

"I can't imagine the possibilities," he murmured as he bent down and licked the side of my father's face.

I growled and moved to stop him, but Godric held me back as I screamed in fury, "Don't you dare touch him or I'll kill every last one of you!"

"How extraordinary," he murmured, licking the blood of his lips. He gripped his heart and started to laugh. "Angel blood turns you human! My heart beat twice! What about Miss Stackhouse anyways? Fairies? You seriously expect me to believe she's fairy? A species extinct for millennia? If they ever existed at all. Angels, well, I can believe that, but fairies?! Do you think I wouldn't notice if there were fairies bouncing around in the world?"

"I didn't say she was full fairy," Eric corrected. "She's a human-fairy hybrid, which helps save her from detection. She may well be the last of her kind, your only chance to walk in the sun."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Russell muttered as he watched Sookie.

"Drink her blood. You'll see," Eric suggested.

"Now, that's just nuts. Nothing in my blood is a supernatural sunscreen for y'all," Sookie protested. "Why would you even think that?"

"Sookie, you're wrong. What Eric says is true." Bill said and I immediately felt betrayed by all of the corpses. How could he?! Scowl lines loves Sookie! Why would he just throw her to them?! I thought that...who was I kidding? These corpses will never change...they will always be monsters no matter what. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice-that's never gonna happen. I'm done with them. They hurt my father, Leo, Lillian, and now Sookie. I should've killed them all a long time ago.

Sookie started to tear up as I listened into the conversation, "A new beginning? We'll start over? Why are you doing this to me?"

"We've tried fighting him. We'll never win," Bill told her. "If he develops a taste for your blood, he may let you live."

"GO TO HELL, CORPSE," I yelled out at him. "I HATE YOUR FUCKING GUTS! THEY'RE GOING TO KILL HER AND MY FATHER BECAUSE OF YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!"

"So?" Eric prompted.

"I'm intrigued."

"Excellent." Eric said with a faltering smile as he looked at me. I wouldn't let him see me cry. I hope he felt everything that I was feeling.

"I hate you," Sookie cried out. "I hate you all."

"On one condition."

"Whatever you like."

"You go first," Russell stated firmly with a hint of question in his eyes.

Eric didn't miss a beat as he replied, "I'd love to."

"Oh and I don't trust God's Miracle over there, glaring at all of us," Russell added in. "Who knows what kind of rabbit she may pull out of her pointy hat?"

I groaned, rolling my eyes. "Listen, corpse, one: my precious purple pointy hat is gone and I can't find it. Two: I am not God's miracle or some shit especially when I hate church so much that my skin always feels like it's burning. Third: Corpses, let's be clear about one thing...I am a enchantress and I can kill all of you if you kill my father and best friend."

Russell smirked. "I have an idea!"

Russell sped away for a moment before he came back with a cross a minute later. I fell to the floor, screaming in pain as he put on the cross onto my chest after he opened up my blouse. I heard sizzling, but all I can tell you guys is that...the pain I felt was unimaginable. Everything was fading real fast as my vision started to fade.

"How...could...you," I whimpered when I saw Godric and Eric standing over me.

I heard screaming and that was it. Black invaded my sight and that was all I saw. I'm pretty sure that I was having pretty bad degrees of burns on my chest. How did corpses do this shit with silver? I gotta give them props for being strong and not crying like a pussy.

I awoke to a blinding light and saw Ginger standing over me. "Ginger ale? What the hell?"

"Niece," she scolded. "You shouldn't use such words. Language, please."

My eyes widened. "Ginger, you're...my aunt."

Ginger looked down at her barely clothed body, asking, "Is this what this vessel is called?"

I knitted my eyebrows in confusion, I sat up on the floor. Time stood still for a moment as Ginger smiled softly as I asked, "Who the fuck are you? You called me niece? Oh fuck are you Lucifer?! Hey, I don't want horns or a tail or even a pitchfork either! I don't wanna turn red too, but the pitchfork thing may be in my brother's view, he has one-"

"My name is Gabriel and I have a message for you, niece," Ginger said-well, Gabriel disguised as her.

"The archangel? One of the three archangels?"

He nodded. "Well, actually, there were seven of us until Lucifer fell then Celeste with him. Troublemakers those two are...anyways, we can't have you dying on us, niece, so I got Raphael healing you while we're talking though once you wake up, time will move forward quickly. I just wanna let you know that you children were never mistakes."

"Thanks for saying that...but I just wished that it didn't feel that way from her all the time. She looks at us like we're some kind of burden."

Gabriel/Ginger nodded. "We've seen that. Our father's punishment to her was that she would never be satisfied in life for all eternity when he cast her out. Lucifer received the worse of the two, but even then they both were lonely and in their own personal hell in a way."

"All she did was fall in love with another angel. What's so bad about that?"

Gabriel/Ginger gave a mirthless chuckle. "You only got one side of the story. Celeste always knew how to make a real good sob story, she knew her audience, but angels can't marry. Celeste and Daniel-you may know him as Don for short, married each other in secret which is forbidden since we give our lives to protect the people here in this universe. That is the whole point of us, what good are we if not to protect and guide them?"

"I don't know. Winged bible freaks," I suggested. Ah, a new nickname for angels. Yay!

Gabriel/Ginger shook their head. "You have the same sense of humor that Luci has. It's dangerous."

"I live for the danger zone," I joked.

"You must protect your friend or else, she's gonna be in a world full of hurt if you don't," they warned. "We have Leon by the way."

"Why?"

"He's an angel. He needs to be properly trained since my sister almost screwed him up, but then he stood up to her so...I'm sorry, niece, but it's his time."

"No, you can't take him away too. He's my brother. You already took my sister."

Gabriel/Ginger looked confused. "What? No, we didn't. Lillian is well."

"Okay," I scoffed. "To me, she is dead, remember? Heaven doesn't count as her being alive."

"Oh yes, I completely forgot about that little detail."

Did he just...forget that Lillian was dead?! What the hell are wrong with these winged bible freaks? I bet you they're all snitches too! Yuck!

"Is that all, Gabriel?"

"Uncle," he corrected proudly. "I am your Uncle Gab. Call me that, okay?"

"Look, I grew up most of my life without a mother, a sister, a brother, and uncles, aunts-basically my entire family. All I have is my father and now I got Leo so don't take him away...please," I asked softly.

"Time will tell," Gabriel/Ginger said. "Oh before I leave, I just thought that you should know what Raziel told me today."

"Who the fuck is that?"

"Language," he scolded fiercely. "Potty mouth, you need to chill alright? Stop cursing my father-your grandfather out. That is a direct message from Michael himself, your other, less handsome uncle-hey, shut up, dickweed!"

I backed away and murmured, "So you have crazy thoughts too?"

"It's hard when you're a messenger of God and so everyone literally sends you things straight to your head," he explained. "It's horrible especially when they won't stop talking. Raziel is the keeper of God's secrets. He moved in when Celeste was kicked out."

"Oh."

"Yeah so he wants me to tell you that Eric has your purple pointy hat. Okay, bye!" He said quickly.

"I KNEW IT," I yelled out in victory as I sat up straight on the floor. Everyone looked at me and I scowled at a blackened Russell who was extra crispy tonight tied to a pole. "Oh fried corpse, huh?"

Eric was by my side in a moment and inspected my chest. I scowled and pinched his nipple. "OW! Stop that!"

I rolled my eyes. "Oh please you are just trying to look at my chest, you creep. You have a creepy hoarding habit, Eric Northman! Where is my purple pointy hat?!"

Eric laughed and suddenly started to kiss me passionately as he rolled on top of me. "I missed you."

I smiled sweetly. "Get the fuck off of me or I'll fry your dick off-WHY ISN'T THE FRIED CORPSE DEAD ALREADY?!"

"I'm taking a page out of your book. I think death would be too kind."

I smiled widely. "Oh, you are right about that! I like this side of you!"

Eric and Pam both raised their eyebrows at me. I shrugged. "I had a touch with near-death experience."

Pam strode forward with a bloody face as she touched my forehead. "You okay? What the fuck happened while you were out, witch? How come you're not trying to kill us?"

I rolled my eyes and wiped away her hand. "Corpse, get your filthy hands off of me! By the way, if any of you hurt Sookie-"

"Too late," Sookie grumbled in annoyance.

I narrowed my eyes at them. "Then they'll all face the wrath of God, duh."

"You're not serious," Bill said with a chuckle.

"Who do you think met me while I was out," I said, smiling at Sookie. "Gabriel told me to protect Sookie, Michael told me to watch my potty mouth, and Raziel told me that Eric took my awesome purple pointy hat too!"

Sookie laughed, coming closer. "They said that?! So I guess you're supposed to be my protector now, huh?"

"I'll try, but with these corpses, old hags, dogs, and mutts wandering around you, Sook, it's gonna be hard."

Sookie chuckled and hugged me tightly. "You were out for such a long time. Everyone kept on feeding you their blood and you just kept on puking it out. Even Godric tried!"

"Where is that fucker?!" I growled.

Sookie shrugged. "He left when dawn ended."

I nodded. I looked to Eric and said, "Give it back."

"No."

"Oh, why not?! Do you wear it?"

"No, I have the women I bed wear it while I fuck them," Eric joked though he looked kind of serious honestly.

I scowled. "You look like the type, corpse. I bet you even cry my name out. God, that sounds really hot-Sookie, stop me from talking!"

"Are you-"

"Oh, no," I cried out as a horrible thought came to me. "Why can't I stop saying my thoughts aloud? I have no control."

"God is punishing you," Pam teased.

I growled, "Don't joke about that or you'll give him ideas, corpse! I need to go."

"Wait, what?" Alcide spoke finally. "Where are you going?"

"Who are you? My father, dog, stay out of my business!" I snapped at him when he blocked the doorway.

Alcide's hands balled into fists. "Listen here, Belle, I may not be your true brother, but you're still my friend. You were in a coma for a day for God's sake! Had us all worried!"

"I will leave whenever I please," I told them before walking out of the bar.

"Where are you going?" Eric asked as he followed me. "Tell me now!"

"Why?! Why do you kiss me all the time? Why do you care?!"

"Because I love you," he said softly.

I froze as silence filled my ears. The crickets didn't even fucking chirp because they knew that this was a moment that seemed to last forever. I tried to deny it even. "W-What? No, you can't."

"I do."

"Eric, I...you hurt me," I reminded him. "You will never change. You don't think you did me any wrong, but you did! My father got hurt today because you wanted your stupid vengeance! Where is he anyways?"

Eric looked away. "I'm sorry, Belle."

I shook my head. "No...no, you're lying to me. He's not…"

"He's dead," Eric replied. "Russell drained him after he tried to kill him for hurting you."

I tried to keep my tears in...but I just couldn't as I started to sob angrily, "Why didn't you save him?!"

"I was too late-"

"HE'S DEAD, ERIC! YOU KILLED MY FATHER! AFTER EVERYTHING YOU PUT ME THROUGH-I KNEW IT! I KNEW THAT HE WOULD DIE, BUT YOU TOLD ME DIFFERENTLY," I screamed at him. So that's the real reason why everyone was so concerned with me, they were trying to see if I knew that my father was dead. "I could've saved him, you know? If Russell hadn't put that cross on me or if you would've...who am I kidding?! Why do I always put my blind faith in you? A dead man who only cares for himself and NO ONE else! You don't care who you hurt as long as you get what you want, right?!"

"I would never hurt you," he promised and held my face in his hands.

I shook my head, tears rolling down my face. "But you did hurt me! My father is dead because of you! He's gone!"

Eric leaned his forehead against my own, his fingers gripping my head. "I am sorry for the suffering and pain I've caused you. It hurts me because you are one of the few people I've come to care about. I love you."

"STOP SAYING THAT! You can't love me," I urged as I pushed myself away from him. I kept on shaking my head, not knowing how to process everything Eric was telling me. He can't love me...he just can't! "You're a liar! I don't believe you, Eric Northman!"

I took out my brush quickly as Eric insisted, "I love you, Belle Deveraux."

I looked behind me as I got on my broomstick, "Good-bye, corpse. Hecate, give me flight!"

I heard him call out for me as I flew out of there. Why did he have to complicate things? Why did he have to love me?! ME?! OUT OF EVERYONE HE HAD TO LOVE, HE CHOSE THE PERSON WHOSE LIFE HE TOOK AWAY JUST A YEAR AGO?! My father would still be alive if Eric didn't come into my life. Maybe Sookie was right about having a normal life without Eric inside of it.

I literally made it about a mile until I dove into the ground. I grunted in pain as I rolled across the dirt road. I looked up and saw my broomstick stuck up straight into the dirt ground. I tried to the damn thing out, but it wouldn't let me. What the hell?! Stupid shit!

I threw my hands up in the air and started to walk down the road when a large blue cross appeared on top of a building, illuminating the entire street. I was at some kind of run-down church. I was scared to touch the crosses after what happened. I walked up the steps, they creaked underneath my feet when I opened the doors. I yelped in surprise when a bunch of birds came flying out around me.

I saw the glass stained windows which showed all of the archangels and God in the middle of them. A family portrait. The benches were rusty and filled with dusty. The place literally looked like no one touched anything inside. I almost tripped over a couple of bibles and grumbled, "I could've died, you know?"

I sat down on one of the benches, relishing in the silence before my eyes closed as tears began to form in my eyes. My shoulders shook as I held my head in my hands and said aloud, "Why? Why did you take him? He was everything to me...he was all I had left now that Leo is gonna be gone. Why are you taking everyone I love? You could've had anyone, but you took my dad instead! He was a good dad, he was always there and I knew that he would protect me until his last breath which was what happened! It wasn't his fault that all this happened to him, it's Eric's fault! I hate him for what he did. I hate that he loves me and...and...and I hate that I may l-love him too. I hate myself for feeling this way because my father is gone because of his selfishness. I didn't even get say goodbye to him...he was my dad and I didn't even get to tell him that I love him so, so much."

My voice turned into sobs as I thought about my father and what would've happened if I'd only been there. I could've saved him. It's my job to protect the innocent yet I couldn't protect my father from those monsters.

It's all Godric and Eric's fault. They are the ones to blame...Godric because he told Russell everything and Eric because he dangled my father out in front of him and preyed on the weakness of my father's soul.

I jumped back when a hand touched my shoulder. I saw a tall man in a suit with brown hair like mine slicked back, he greeted me with a warm smile as he held out his hand.

"Who are you?"

"You know who I am."

A tear raced down my cheek. "Tell me."

"I can feel it," he said softly. "I can feel you seek death. I'm here now, niece."

A name came to me. "You're the Angel of Death."

"I'm Azrael," he answered, still holding out his hand. "Take my hand. I know that you desperately want to see your family now. Leo, Lillian, and your father are all waiting for you."

"Will I be at peace?"

"Whatever peace your heart desires." I watched in amazement as large black wings came popping out from his back. "You won't die. You don't belong here, Belle, the beauty of God, it's about time you come back to your family. Your place is with us."

I walked forward, unable to stop my feet as I stared into his light blue eyes. I grabbed my Uncle Azrael's hand and then we flew away from the run-down church, leaving everything behind us.

TBC…

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! Now I have been waiting for season 4 because it's gonna be a witch season then we have full on angels and demons and all kinds of messes going on in this story. I had to kill off Belle's father! Don't hate me, but in my mind, Belle wouldn't just run off to heaven unless it was for a good reason.

Leon is sort of dead now that he's an angel, Lillian is up there too along with Don also known as Daniel. I love the next chapter because that's when everything starts to change and so does the plot lines too for the characters of this story. I hoped you liked this chapter.
