Twelve and A Half Months Later…

Sookie couldn't believe that it'd been so long since she'd went to the Fae world. It felt like only a couple of minutes. Jason told her that Belle had gone missing too and Sookie searched her mind for Belle in her time in the Faerie world, but she knew that didn't see her there. It was like she dropped off the face of the Earth. Sookie understood why Belle had just gone up and left everything especially since her father died that very same night because of vampires.

She probably went somewhere where vampires couldn't be involved in her life. Sookie knew that was why she left too (not by choice obviously and not for over a year) because Bill had betrayed her and Belle. He was planning to give Lillian to the queen, but Lillian caused a rebellion and that went down hill...but then the queen noticed Belle and Leon too.

Sam had told Sookie that they all pitched in to pay for Don's gravestone and funeral in the cemetery just across from her house. Apparently someone had bought Belle's house even they tried to save it from the company who bought it, but they just didn't have the money. She knew that they were trying to save it for Belle for when she returned or so they hoped.

When she returned last night, neither Bill nor Eric knew where Belle was. Eric and Godric came to her house every night in case she might know where Belle had run to. Eric was trying to contain his fury, but luckily Godric was there to help him. Sookie was very surprised when she found out that Celeste had lifted the spell on Godric because of Belle's disappearance. Everyone was angry when Celeste went on air and practically milked Belle's disppearance to the bone. She even made a gravestone for her on national television, saying that this was her finally moving on after a year for her daughter.

Celeste came out to world on national television, stating that her reason for doing this is that for too long had they stayed in the shadows because of vampires and how they bend them to their will until they became extinct. They were tired of fighting until they killed all of her children then she knew that it time to fight back. Jason had the whole thing recorded because it was such a "fucking awesome" speech. Yeah, so she won most of the public over with her emotional speeches and the vampires did not like it so they were upping their kindness game.

Alcide popped around every since she returned and he too was anxious to know about Belle. Sookie was shocked that everyone wanted Belle back in their lives. She was so troublesome sometimes and sarcastic and hated everything and everyone on this planet. She wished that she could provide answers to everyone, but she hadn't got any.

As Sookie worked a nightshift, she thought about asking God or her uncle archangels about where she run off to. The door opened and Sookie knitted her eyebrows in confusion as she felt pairs of eyes on her. She turned around and saw five gorgeous men of all different kinds staring at her. Sookie blushed and grabbed some menus, walking over to them.

"Hey, y'all, welcome to Merlotte's. Party of five, okay?"

A tall man in wrinkle free navy blue suit with long black raven hair tied into a ponytail back came forward, nodding. "Thank you, Sookie Stackhouse."

Sookie froze. "How do you know my name?"

They didn't answer her as they sat down at the booth, one of them with brown hair slicked immediately fell asleep, muttering, "Black coffee, fae."

Sookie jumped backed and held the menus up in defense. "Okay now you better tell me who you all are right now-"

A man with dirty blonde hair was looking through a pile of mail in his hands looked up. "We're Belle's uncles. I'm Gabriel. Sleepy over there is Azrael. Suits who greet you is Michael. Baldy is Raphael, and Denzel Washington's doppelganger over there is Uriel. Nice to meet you now I want the cheeseburger and fries-well done. Stat!"

Sookie looked at the five of them in disbelief. "Hold up. How many are there? Archangels I mean."

"Seven," Michael answered. "There used to be seven before my brother and sister fell of course. Anyways, I want the caesar salad."

Raphael laughed as he tried to play it off as a cough. "Since I'm not a twat, I'll have-"

"Language, Raphael!" Michael scolded. "We are angels in front of a human so watch your mouth."

"Oi, watch your tone with me," Raphael threw back at him. "Don't care if you're older than me, I don't take orders from people with sticks half way up their arses."

Uriel rolled his eyes. "Ignore them, Miss Stackhouse. I'll have just the Iced Tea and pickles please and thank you."

Who knew angels could be so well mannered and yet so normal in a way?

"Who orders Iced Tea?" Raphael questioned in amusement. "It tastes horrible, pickles just leave a bad taste too."

"That's because you have a sweet tooth," Gabriel reminded him with a knowing smile.

Raphael furrowed his brows. "And? I like it. I'll have the biggest chocolate cake you have in this place, darling-and you're probably think a slice or two, no, I mean an entire cake."

Sookie wanted to laugh at the order of unusual food items since they were all so different. She went to Sam and said, "I think Belle's uncles are here, Sam."

"What?" Sam whispered and looked over her shoulder to the group of men. "The archangels, the ones from the Bible? Shit. What do they want?"

Sookie shrugged and looked down at her tiny notebook. "Oh, just a black coffee, cheeseburger, Iced Tea and pickles, caesar salad, and a whole chocolate cake. The usual."

When Sookie returned, she had filled Sam in on what they had learned about Belle's life and where she actually came from. He was sort of surprised to find out that she came from such an angelic background since she was anything, but that. Sookie remembered her mischievous smile in that moment and she wished her best friends were here with her right now.

Sookie brought out their food items, setting it down in front of them. She watched them dig in within record time and Michael asked, "Is it true you're a woman of God?"

Sookie nodded and noticed how prideful he was of her answer. "Yeah, I am. I believe in him. Why?"

"Just wanted to make sure that those irritable faes didn't stray you from my father's path," Michael said. "I heard that I am your angel too. How exciting it must be for you to meet me, huh?"

All of the other angels rolled their eyes as Gabriel shook his head. "Mickey, no one cares. Besides, I'm pretty sure she'd rather have me to be her angel since you can't obviously protect her."

Michael's eyes flared in anger as he questioned in a deathly low voice that even made Azrael perk up in his seat, "You dare question me?!"

"Calm yourself, mate," Raphael advised. "You'll frighten everyone here."

As they all had some kind of weird death glare stare down at each other, Sookie spoke up, "Honestly, I don't think it would've really mattered which one of y'all were my angel because I seem to attract a lot of trouble. I'm basically a lost cause right about now if I'm being honest."

"Cool," Azrael murmured before falling back asleep.

Sookie pointed to him. "Is he okay?"

"Just a lot of work goes into being the Angel of Death these days," Gabriel explained. "Plagues are always a tough couple of years for him."

"Where are you all headed off to anyways," Sookie inquired as she noticed their fancy attire.

"Fangtasia," Michael answered. "We have business with the corpses."

Sookie wanted to laugh at how Michael had said corpses because it sounded just like the way Belle would've said it. Where are you, Belle? Please come home. I know it's hard, but we all miss you here.

This place was so beautiful.

You found peace at every corner it seemed...I was always smiling.

Seriously, all worries just melted away and you were able to be free. I had literally everything here. Everything was bright and happy, there were no such things as death, pain, or sorrow. Only happiness. On other days, I would've found this annoying, but not here. Nope, this place was literally perfect.

I walked around the surban neighborhood as people waved hello at me when I walked past them. There on my porch stood Lillian watering the plants, she smiled as I approached her.

She then frowned a little bit. "You're still so young. I wish you didn't die so young, Belle."

"I'm not dead," I said.

"Why are you here then? You shouldn't be here."

I shrugged. "Azrael took me here. He said that this place would make me finally happy. Dad!"

My dad came striding out of the house and engulfed me in a hug. "Kiddo, you're not suppose to be here. Lillian's right. What happened?"

"I lost everyone because of vampires. What's the point of being somewhere if your family ain't there with you? I missed you guys. Where is Leo?"

I had the air knocked out of me as I tumbled to the ground with Leo on top as he laughed hysterically. "You asshole!"

"Hey there, sis! Can you fucking believe it? I'm an angel-wait, why are you here?"

Leo had a sad expression on his face as he held my hands when we stood and kept on shaking his head. "No...no, no, no, you can't be dead. Not you. Belle, you were supposed to fight our devilish mother! For God's sake, do you know how many people gave up their lives just for you? Try an entire coven."

My eyes widened and I looked to Lillian and my dad. "What? You're joking."

Lillian shook her head. "I told my coven of my plans. You were my failsafe in case anything ever happened to me. I told our mother that she would never get my powers like she'd hoped and that someone in the world would get them. Someone worthy of them. She never expected you, Belle."

I smiled. "Thanks, Lillian. I wish I could've saved you from death."

She shook her head. "Don't be. I'm way happier here than I ever was in that world. I'm at peace. I'm not alone either."

"Belle, you need to go back," my father kept on pushing. "I know you miss us-believe me, I miss you too, but there are people down there that still need you."

"Like who?" I asked, genuinely confused.

"Sookie," Leo replied.

"Godric," my father said with a hint of a smile.

"Eric," Lillian added in.

I scowled. "Fuck him! Stupid corpse killed my father! Nope, I'm with the readers in rooting for Godric. Woo! Team Godric!"

My family laughed and Lillian shook her head. "Trust me. Choosing between the both of them is not that easy. I was wrong about telling you to run from Eric, Belle. He let you go."

"What? What are you yapping about now?" I asked in exasperation as I threw up my hands.

She shook her head again and held my hands. "He loves you. Everything he does is because he loves you. He was never going to give you Russell so he was going to let you go because he loved you."

"I don't believe you."

"Then ask him."

"FINE I WILL!"

"OKAY THEN!"

I huffed and stormed away from her. "Well, how the hell do I get back to my world then since everyone needs my awesomeness?!"

A white light encased me as my father said softly, "I love you, Belle. Give him a chance. Not Eric obviously, but your real father."

"You're my real father," was all I said before I popped up in front of my house. I tore open the door since it was locked and found that everything was covered up. I wiped the tears from my eyes as I went to my room, I sat on my bed, glancing around, wishing that I could hear my father's voice once more.

"You bought her house," Michael stated in the now empty Fangtasia as he glanced around the place. "Give it to us."

"No." Eric said. "She's gone because of your brother."

"You drove her away not I," Azrael told him as he drank coffee (He's kind of obsessed with it in case you didn't catch on already). He sleepily smiled at the corpse. "Remember? You were going to give her to Russell."

Eric growled as he shot to his feet, "No, I wasn't. Someone put that into her head and I think that it was one of you. Let's face it, you all don't like vampires. You hate our kind."

"Of course we do, you cause misery and pain amongst the humans to the point where it's become hard to protect all of them at once," Uriel pointed out. "Human death rates have gone up to the point where Azrael can barely get any sleep anymore. There is no peace as long as your kind is in the world. You bring chaos and destruction wherever you go. Sookie Stackhouse can atest to that."

"Brother," Gabriel said. "Enough. We get it. This won't help what we strive to achieve. Look, Mr. Northman, we want our niece's house. It would mean a lot to us if you could give it back, we'll repay you the money you put into it. I know you are a good man or else why would Belle have wasted her time with you-same with Godric."

"He's imprisoned her," Michael said with a loud voice. "Yet you sympathize with him?"

Uriel nodded and added, "And how dare he think himself worthy of our niece-a grandchild of God himself."

"Mr. Northman," Azrael began. "She's happy where she is since I know her best, I have her best interests at heart...since she always was so close to literal death."

"While we do approve of her choice of best friend," Raphael said. "She's almost died more than twenty times and we think that you lot are bad for her. She appears to have a very short lifespan if you two were involved according to Azrael."

Eric scoffed. "This would've happened eventually. Someone would've found her out whether tomorrow or twenty years from then."

Michael shrugged. "Yes, and our dear sister, Celeste has made things much worse by coming out of the shadows as the first witch to ever walk among them. We are angry at her as well."

Gabriel stepped forward, stating, "But we are even more angry that you did not end Russell and send him to hell with Lucifer. He was looking forward to it. He likes to punish the evil."

Azrael started to laugh lightly as he looked at Eric, "Oh, Luci is gonna wriggle your corpse neck!"

Michael pushed him to the side to shut him up causing Azrael to bump into Uriel who accidently hits Gabriel which caused him to smash right back into Raphael who lost his balance and spilled his cake onto the floor. Eric and Pam watched as the brother began to brawl each other. The tables and chairs were thrown to the side as Michael and Azrael threw their bodies onto each other. Uriel grabbed Gabriel's as Raphael slapped Uriel's bald head to hurt him. Eric could've sworn that he heard them throw out some weird nicknames at each other that he dared not repeat.

Eric and Pam quickly broke up the fight as Pam slapped the angels' faces and yelled, "Pull yourselves together! You're fucking angels for Christ's sake!"

Raphael adjusted his suit as he explained, "We may be angels, but we're still brothers and brothers fight. Celeste was the strongest whenever she and Luci teamed up together."

Eric noticed the distant sad looks on their faces as they remembered their brother and sister except on the faces of Michael and Uriel who had annoyed expressions.

"We shouldn't dwell on the past," Michael said in irritation. "They rebelled against the kingdom-against our father and everything we believed in. They did horrible things while they were here too which only proves that they were never meant to be an archangel after all."

Eric froze as he walked back to his "throne". He had this strange feeling in his chest like his heart was hurting and felt so many emotions all at once. "Belle," he whispered before flying away to reunite with her once again.

I couldn't believe it. I ran outside and came face to face with Godric who smiled widely at me. I ran into his arms as he swung me around.

"You're here-you're alive," Godric breathed as he set me down onto my feet. "Where did you go?"

"Wait, why are you so worried? What's the date?"

"October twenty-second," Godric answered.

My eyes widened. "Jesus fucking Christ, two weeks! I've been gone that long!"

Godric frowned. "You've been gone for twelve and a half months, Belle."

I gasped, I know, but I couldn't help it. This was a gasping moment. "No, you're shitting me...Godric, I was only there for a couple of minutes I think."

"Where?"

"Heaven," I replied with a happy smile. "Oh, it's so nice, Godric. Everyone was there. Lillian, Leo, my dad...everyone that I love."

Godric opened his mouth to reply, but a smooth voice spoke from behind me, "Hello, witchy."

I turned around and faced Eric. "Hello, corpse."

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! I know I am cruel for ending it here, but I will update soon alright!

Honestly, right now I don't know who Belle should end up with because I can picture her with both Godric and Eric, but then I can also see her pulling a "I'm Switzerland, bitches so fuck off" type of path. I don't see her moving on from Godric and Eric right now. Belle still needs to grow up honestly and even Lillian said that the choice between isn't gonna be an easy one because that's not how love works.

I do see Eric was the aggressive type of beast and Godric was the soft gentle type of beast in this Beauty and the Beast theme of the story so Eric's got a long way to go before Belle can see that there is something there between *wink *wink* She's gonna see Eric as the person who took her father away even though no one is to blame, but Gary and Russell for killing him. With Godric, I think he needs to work on how to control his other side. I was going to have Belle come back with her memory erased, but then...I thought of no memory Eric and her in the same room and you'll just see what I mean in later chapters.

Honestly, right now she's leaning towards Godric because he's never done anything to hurt her unlike Eric who's new to all of these weird feelings and he doesn't know how to process them. Belle has to realize that Gary is Godric and Godric is Gary no matter what, he has an uncontrollable darkness inside of him and he's gonna need to deal with that instead of running away from it at every turn.

Obviously, now we're entering a new era of the angels so instead of Corpses in the chapter titles, expect Winged Bible Freaks then as the seasons go, I'll change it to whatever theme is being focused on.

I hoped you liked this chapter.
