"Keep moving," Gabriel grumbled as I rolled away from him, kicking to my feet as I raced around him. He swung that stupid ugly sword at him. I was fuming as I felt it just barely nick my skin. I'M SO TIRED! IT'S ALREADY NIGHT TIME! I WANNA GO TO SLEEP ALREADY! STUPID WINGED BIBLE FREAK ALMOST KILLED ME RIGHT NOW!

"HEY! Watch the blade, Gabbie! I'M PRECIOUS CARGO!"

Gabriel didn't laugh as he stated coldly, "This isn't a joke, Belle. You have to be quicker."

The bastard tried to nick the blade at me AGAIN! I'm getting real tired of his shit right now, the world ain't ending just yet. "Oh my god, get off of my dick already! I know-"

"Nothing," Gabriel finished with a scowl. "The entire world's fate will be decided by you."

I groaned loudly. "Oh my god, you're so annoying...I need a...five minute break."

"Your enemy won't care if you're tired, Belle. They will slaughter you the first chance they-"

I fell to the floor, panting heavily as I looked up at the sky. Man, is it me or is the sky moving?! I think I have a concussion.

Gabriel rolled his eyes which I did not appreciate since that little shit was totally giving me attitude. He's so sassy… "You can't have a concussion. Your head wasn't hit hard enough, but if you like, I can correct that."

I yelled out in surprise as I jumped away from Gabriel as he swung a huge freaking sword down at me. I glared furiously at me. "Look. I get that your little seers saw a war coming between all the things that go bump in the night, but what do I have to do with any of it? It's not like I can just jump in front of them, put my hands on their chests, and tell them to knock it off."

"No, you're right," Gabriel sighed as he stuck his sword into the ground. "But you have to fight. Hecate is having Lucifer guard Godric as well as Eric's memories."

I stared blankly at him. I don't think he's getting my question at all. Hey, that means even an angel can be just as stupid as a human too. They're just like everyone else. "Okay. Again, why do you all think I'm so important here? I know that I'm powerful and all, but I can barely control it and that power is not even mine...it belonged to Lillian so she's your girl for saving the world, not me. Besides, you winged bible freaks are shady just as much as you all are hot and cold like that Katy Perry song."

"The world-"

I screamed in frustration as I wanted to pull my hair and punch him in the face all at the same time. "I know! God, I know, okay?! I'm not stupid. I know what's going to happen if I fail...that...well, I actually don't know what's going to happen if I lose. Hey, what is going to happen if I lose," I asked curiously. "I mean is the world going to end?"

Gabriel sighed. "If you lose, Lucifer will be freed from his imprisonment in Hell. Your blood frees him. There's a ritual...and a sacrifice."

I tried to find words, but even I was stumped. Of fucking course there's a fucking sacrifice! I need to die in order for Lucifer to live. A life for a life. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't.

"So is that why I am here?"

Gabriel nodded. "We believe that Celeste knew that a child of God-a human child could bring Lucifer out of Hell. Your father is a great wolf among his kind-was at least. Celeste put a demon in him when they created you which is why you can't turn into a wolf like Alcide could. She needed a child born of angel and demon. We believe that she used him specifically for the purpose to free our brother Lucifer. Your blood is the key to everything, Belle. Don knew this and kept you safe for so long."

"What about Eric and Godric? Did they know too? Was the thing about me being some enchantress a lie just to cover up the fact that my life was planned to end in death?! Did Lillian and Leo know too?! IS that why she gave me her powers?"

"She did it to protect you. Before she transferred her power into you, you were helpless. Your sister died saving your life."

"Oh my god," I gasped. "I cannot fucking believe this! Did everyone know that my entire purpose in this life was all to free the Devil?! IS THAT ALL I AM?!" I yelled at him, feeling my world start to crash down. "You know, what? Screw all of you! That's right! I said it! I'm done with all of you, don't ever contact me again. I want to see any of you ever again. Stay away from my friends and family-oh, wait, I don't have any family left anymore thanks to you guys."

I turned around to storm away and out of the woods. Well, this is weird...one minute I'm in the woods and the next I'm in a town. I was minding my own business and they decide to pick me up like game piece and place me here in some strange town!

Ridiculous!

And very rude too! I'm reporting them to HR! Wait...do Angels even have an HR department?! Imagine. I bet you they go to it only when their feelings get hurt by someone...they're all a bunch of sensitive Sarahs like seriously get over it. Wait, Belle, stop thinking about those winged bible no-good lying freaks and put them out of your mind...after this is all over, I swear that I am gonna go to Hawaii and take a vacation that lasts forever.

I just can't believe it.

My own mother practically drugged my father, bumped uglies with him, got knocked up, had me, and then is going to sacrifice me just to bring back Lucifer. The Devil. She's gonna unleash Hell and my blood will help her. Wait, where does Hecate stand in all of this? Who the hell is the one pulling the strings around here anyways?

I wonder who put me here anyways. I looked up the sky and gave God the middle finger.

"Ow!"

I rubbed my head as I narrowed my eyes at the old lady who fucking smacked her stupid purse over my head. As she walked away, I told her, "It's okay. He's my dick of a grandfather. We're related. Sadly."

My brows furrowed as I read the sign of the shop that I was next to, "The Moon Goddess Emporium...Hecate!"

I quickly walked into the shop, and bumped into a red haired middle aged woman. "Hi."

"Hello there, I'm Marine. Can I help you with something today?"

I nodded. "Yes. My name is...is Bonnie. Bonnie Clyde. Have you seen any snakes lately?"

Shit. I'm crazy. I just have two serial killers names to her and I just asked her about snakes. Maybe I am really insane. I smiled politely. "I know. My name is weird and I'm weird. Don't know what my mom was thinking. She was probably drinking! I lost a snake-a serpent a couple of days ago. Two serpents."

Marine nodded. "No snakes around here. Is there anything else in particular that you were looking for tonight?"

"I need a spell that can return something that a friend of mine lost a couple of days ago. He seemed to have forgotten his mind," I explained. "He doesn't know who he is anymore. I think he was glamoured."

Marine nodded in understanding and took out a book. "Here. This book will help you. If his memory is lost then it will be in one of the five rivers of the Underworld named Lethe. Follow the instructions carefully, word by word or you'll end up killing someone like yourself for instance."

I nodded. "Okay now is there like some type of guard there? Or can I just pluck that sucker out?"

Marine read the text in the book. "This is dark magic. Expression is what modern witches these days call it, but to mess with these forces is...they will always follow you. They won't stop until they have you, Bonnie Clyde."

I thought of Eric and Godric. I have to do it. What kind of person would I be if I didn't take the risks for them...I would be the biggest asshole alive. I owe Godric for not killing himself so that I can live still. I should thank him-nay! I am going to thank him.

"Got it," I replied. "Dark magic equals bad and creepy stalky things."

Marine scoffed. "You humans…you all have no concept of the kind of power-"

"Believe me, I know power and I've seen what it does to people and I don't want it. I'm doing this for a friend, or else I won't hear the end of it. He's kind of annoying that way."

Marine seem satisfied with my answer and nodded. "Good. As long as you understand what door you're opening here. Sign here please."

I signed my name on a couple of forms and paid for the book. Once she handed the book to me, our fingers touched. Marine gasped in shock as she was thrown away from me. I stood back, holding the book to my chest protectively.

"You…" She stuttered.

"Gotta flash," I joked quickly and turned to walk away.

"Sister, wait," she called out to me. "Your magic is uncontrollable! It will kill you!"

I stopped in my tracks and asked softly, "What? You're wrong-"

She shook her head furiously. "Some power like that cannot be contained. You've experienced this, didn't you?"

I suddenly remembered all those explosions that happened because of me. Those deaths and destruction followed me like a shadow. "I was told that all I needed to do was control it."

Marine scoffed as a fire started to burn in her eyes. "Silly humans don't know what true power is, none of them do."

Is it just me or did her accent change? What's with the fire in her eyes thing too?!

Is she Ares?! Oh hell, I ain't down for this Gods shit?! Nope already stuck with angels, don't need any of that!

"I am not him," she said as I cursed myself for speaking allowed again. "I am Antonia. Marine tied her life to my soul so I am here. I've seen your power before, Bonnie. You can't control it because it is too big and powerful to control like a storm in the middle of the sea."

"I can control it," I said defiantly. "I know I can."

She looked at me with sadness in her eyes. "I admire your strength. No, you won't be able to control it. You are a living breathing bomb in shorter terms."

"What would happen if someone were to press the red button on me so to say," I cautiously inquired. "Like say during a war."

Is this my only it purpose here? To kill or to be killed? How can that be? Seriously, why even bring me here into this world? I don't want to kill anyone. I don't want to die either.

"You are the most powerful weapon alive. The outcome in this supposed war would be nothing, but tragedy for both sides. Don't use your power."

"But these people are telling me to use it-"

"Don't. Resist the urge to. Whoever is telling you this then they have one purpose and that is to most likely sacrifice you for their war."

"Listen, you old hag, I've just about had enough of people tonight telling me what I am or who I am. All I know is that I need to save my friends and that's it. Leave me alone and go away. I won't say please because that's not me."

I turned away and ran out of the store, I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs at the world. At the Angels, my mother, father, my brother, God, and even at Lillian. It was her fault that she did this to me. She gave me her power for the Angels to use in the war. I get that she was trying to save me in a way, but now I'm a freaking time bomb that gonna be sacrificed in order to free Satan himself.

Terrific.

I was only a pawn in this game. I don't like being lied to and I hate when people try to use me.

"It's irritating, isn't," a charming voice chimed from behind me. I turned and saw a gorgeous man draped in a black suit with a dark purple tie, he had blue eyes and messy wavy dark hair. "Hello, niece. I'm Lucifer, but you can call me Uncle Satan."

Impossible.

"I thought that you were imprisoned in Hell."

"I still am, but this is merely a shadowcast."

"A shadow what?"

"It's like a hologram though much better," he explained. "Now I can't touch anything so that's a pain in the ass. I'm not actually here so you're safe from me."

"Give me Godric and Eric's memory back."

Lucifer chuckled and waggled his finger at me, tsking. "Uh-uh, you know my mother's rules. You fight with us or against us then everyone you love dies simple as that."

"Okay how about no," I said happily. "How about we skip to the part where you guys lose, I keep my friends, and I make your lives living hell? Literally."

"I live in Hell. What can you possibly do to me?"

I shrugged. "You'd be surprised. I know that you can't be freed from hell unless you have my blood."

Lucifer gave me a cold look. "All I need to do is wait a couple of forty to sixty years for you to grow old and die and then I'll be free. It's that simple. I'm patient."

I smirked. "Really? I have it on good authority that if I die then a handsome arrogant Viking is gonna turn me so you'll stay in there forever."

Lucifer frowned. "You're bluffing because I know that you would turn yourself into their kind. You call them corpses for goodness sakes. You honestly expect me to believe that you would turn."

"If it means not unleashing hell then I'm game."

I crossed my arms over my chest, a stubborn look in my eyes too just for dramatic effect of course. Lucifer's jaw ticked as he looked straight into my eyes. "Is that true now? What changed your mind? Could it be the moral Godric or the damned Eric? Which one?"

"Neither. Look, for some reason people think this is some sort of love triangle or whatever, but listen up, you goat-"

Lucifer rolled his eyes. "Goat? I'm not-why does everyone associate me with a damn goat?! You wear goat's skin one time and they never let you live it down!"

"I don't care about your bad rep, okay? Stay away from me and my friends cause you and my grandmother and mother are never going to get my blood and yes, I will change into a vampire before I let anything happen to the people that I love. I don't mind playing dirt either to get what I want."

Lucifer eyed me with glee as he noticed, "My mother and sister were right about you...we are too much alike. Pity that we are on different sides and that you have to die."

I shrugged. "I wouldn't have liked you anyways. You annoy me more than those winged bible freaks. Give me Eric's memory and Godric's freedom."

Lucifer thought about it for a moment before he smirked then snapped his fingers. "Fine. It's better this way anyways. Remember, my beloved niece that all magic comes at a price. You just paid that price I'm afraid."

"Hey, that's not your line. What-"

My vision darkened as I suddenly passed out and fell to the ground.

Eric remembered.

He groaned in pain as he lifted himself off of the ground. He looked around and found Sookie staring curiously at him.

"Eddie?"

Eric scoffed. "Who's Eddie, Sookie? Did you forget me already?"

Sookie deflated and sighed. "Dang it. Your memory's back, isn't? I resend-"

"Wait! What happened first?"

"You don't remember," Sookie questioned.

Eric chuckled. "Well, I wouldn't be asking that question if I did know now, didn't I?"

Sookie frowned and replied, "Eric, you lost your memory and Belle was taking care of you-"

"Belle? Why would she?"

Sookie shrugged. "Don't know. She named your other side too, she seemed to really like him. He was a sweet-"

"Don't," Eric cut her off in a firm voice and there's was a hint of warning in his eyes. "Don't you even think...where's Pam? I need Pam."

Sookie smiled sheepishly. "Well, she sorta made the witch who cast the spell on you mad and according to Tara, she's literally decaying."

"Decaying?" Eric echoed. "Where's Godric then?"

"Hecate kidnapped him and Lucifer held him hostage," Sookie explained. "Belle and Gabriel had me babysit you while they went off to train."

Eric nodded and in another moment, he was gone. Sookie shook her head and wanted to pull that vampire's hair right off. Eric followed Belle's scent and came to the woods before it completely disappeared. He furiously looked around for her and found Godric curled up on the ground. He kneeled down and whispered, "Godric. Awaken."

Godric opened his eyes, looking around as he quickly asked, "Where is she? Where is Belle? She's in trouble. Lucifer appeared to her, Eric. I know why Hecate and Celeste really want her. She mustn't know."

"Know what, Godric? What happened?"

Godric looked into Eric's eyes as he revealed, "They want to kill her, Eric. They need Belle's blood for the ritual in order to bring Lucifer from Hell permanently. Belle is half-demon and half-angel."

"How? The wolf is her father."

"Celeste used him to put a demon inside of him, it tore him apart. Belle was brought here to specifically bring forth the Devil. Lillian gave her the power of the enchantress to save her from that fate."

"Which was probably why Celeste killed her," Eric finished. "Godric, this will destroy her. Belle, can't know."

"My child, she will hate us forever if we keep this from her."

"It will save her. You and I both know the lengths that I am willing to go to save her."

Godric nodded. "You love her."

"So do you," Eric added with an amused grin. "Let's talk about the elephant in the room, Godric. We both love Belle Deveraux."

"A woman we can never have."

"But will die saving her," Eric chuckled. "Gods, we're pathetic."

"She deserves better than us. Her own mother will use her in order to free her brother and that only happens if Belle dies, her blood is the key. His life for her's."

Eric eyed his maker as he questioned, "What about Hecate? Where does she fit into all of this? Where the hell is Belle then? Her scent ends here."

Godric let out a sigh as he looked around, sensing something in the darkness. "We're not alone."

Both Eric and Godric felt their eyes widened as they both watched Belle race past them. A mob followed her as well as they hastily hid themselves in the shadows. Godric sped over to her and dragged her into the shadows as they watched the mob run past them. Belle kicked her feet at them and pushed herself away from them as she growled, "Hey, you pervs get your hands off of me! Hands off, okay?!"

"Belle," Eric greeted with a dirty smirk as he went to kiss her. Belle scowled and punched him in the nose, Eric growled as he held his nose. "You...you hit me."

"Well...yeah! You tried to kiss me!" Belle yelled at him as her fists curled. "DO that again and I'll...well, something weird will come out of my hands and hurt you. I know! I'll throw fire at you! That's what I'll do. So back off!"

Godric and Eric shared a look as Godric asked carefully, "Belle? It's Godric and Eric."

"Who names their kid Godric? We're they bible freaks or something? Cause I know this friend of mine and her entire family is named after people from the Bible," Belle shuddered in disgust. "Yuck. At least be creative. I mean I hate my mother for naming me Belle. It's just a basic name. I mean how unfair is that?! She gets Celeste and I get Belle. Lame. Eric isn't creative either."

Eric's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Belle, what am I?"

Belle had a scowl on her face as she answered, "Listen, Blondie and Kid, I don't know you. I don't want to know you, you perverts and I'm leaving. See ya later, suckers."

Belle turned around and walked away, groaning when they started to follow her. Belle kicked her legs out as they grabbed her arms and started to drag her backwards as she told them, "Hey! Let me go! This is kidnapping, assault, and possible murder too! If I kill you both then I'm gonna say that it was in self-defense! Help!"

Eric shoved a piece of cloth into her mouth as Godric said, "You'll thank us later for this."

"He's right," Eric agreed. "Besides, you attract trouble like a moth to a flame, witchy."

"Witch?!" Belle yelled out in shock, her voice muffled by the cloth as her eyes widened.

TBC…
