I AM FREE, BITCHES!

"No more weird explosions, supernatural people coming at me, or even my strange angelic bible freaks of uncles. I know you all might think that I'm heartless (fuck you by the way if you honestly think that) for thinking this way...but honestly, have you been listening to this story? This is me. I really don't know jack shit about these people, my memory still hadn't come back. I can't stand any of them actually. They're always whining about someone of something. And liars. Yeah they keep on trying to lie to me about certain things. I think the only person who hasn't lied to is now dead. Ironic, isn't? Godric's cool, he's old, but cool to me. He's not as pervy as Eric is, but they both won't stop staring at me. I mean I had to throw plates and pillows at them to get them to stop. Sookie had to hold me back! Ugh! She says she's my best friend, but I don't see it. We have nothing in common! I just don't get it, mom."

I stood beside the unmarked grave of my mother outside of my childhood home. Wow, I'm an orphan now that I think about it. When I woke up this morning, I felt good about everything. The air was nicer and I had this new outlook on the world. I know, it's crazy for me even as I think about it. This weight had been lifted off of my shoulders and there wasn't a burden to be something great. I could literally pop out a few kids right now and I wouldn't have to worry about them having the shit that was out on me.

I was brought out of my thoughts as I heard someone banging on the gates and yelling. I walked to the front of the house as I saw three men come towards me, carrying something heavy and covered in a cloth. My brow furrowed as I asked them, "Hey, who are you?"

"We're here to put in the stone," they answered. One of them uncovered the heavy object.

I was stunned as I read the white engraving on a black marble stone"

Here Lies

Celeste Deveraux

In the end she was a loving mother to extraordinary children

Sometimes she was the villain, but when it counted she was the hero

Celeste did have a heart afterall, it may have been dark,

but there was still light inside of it

She will live on forever inside of us all

I didn't even realize that I had been crying until I felt something wet and salty between my lips. I wiped them away as I questioned, "Uh, who did this?"

"Uh," one of them started to answer as he looked through the papers. "A Mr. Eric Northman."

"Oh. That's nice," I whispered before walking inside of my house. "You can put it near that willow tree in the backyard.

I was confused at why he did this. I wondered if it was another ploy to get inside of my pants. I don't remember him so maybe he's trying to put only good memories of him inside of my mind. I bit my lip as Eric filled my thoughts for another time. I looked outside and saw that the sun was about to go down. I dialed his number.

"Hello, Belle." Eric greeted on the second ring.

"I don't trust you," I said blunty. "The tombstone doesn't change anything."

"I know. Even when I thought of it, I knew that you wouldn't trust me. I'm gonna lie and say that I don't want your memories back," Eric confessed. "You loved me and I loved you. I told you, but you never said it back to me, you felt it."

"You love me?"

"I loved you since the moment I saw you."

"When was that?" I asked curiously since no one knew how Eric met me. I was sick, my father was desperate, and Eric popped up out of nowhere like daisies.

He chuckled. "It's a long story. I'm coming over."

I scoffed as he hung up on me. Was it wrong that I was a little offended by this. How dare he hang up-

A knock on my door stopped my rant once again as I opened the door. Eric walked in as if he owned the place which seemed to be his personality now that I think about it.

"I love you," Eric immediately said as we stood face-to-face.

I huffed and replied, "I don't know what to say to that or well any of the shit you guys say. So why did you?"

Eric glanced around my home. "I liked you strong nature. I became obsessed with you and everything about you. I first saw you in a bookstore when I was walking to a restaurant to meet some woman-"

My eyebrows raised at that as I smirked. "Whore? Slut? Call girl? Streetwalker? Escort? Harlot? Prostitute-"

"Some woman," he repeated with a glimmer in his eyes. "No one has ever...you're not some woman to me."

I eyed him curiously as I replied, "Continue before you get all mushy and broody on me again and become Bill."

Eric smirked. "And what a tragedy that would be, yes?"

I snorted. "Corpse, don't make me hurt you. Again."

"You were at this little bookstore and you had a handful of books in your arms-ten times your size. You started to throw them at someone who was trying to get you into bed. I was a little impressed. The man was taller and ten times stronger than yourself, but that didn't seem to detour you. I planned to meet you then, but I was distracted. You left and the next time I saw you was when you exploded into energy all those years ago. I waited and waited until I could have a moment with you. I never met someone so strong, insane, and powerful especially someone human. You are extraordinary to me."

"Ah, shucks," I said softly. "You're making me blush. Seriously though, why do you feel this way? I'm not that great-well, I am pretty badass. I mean I took down Satan and the Wicked Witch Goddess."

Eric mused, "Let's just say that your crazy matches mine."

"I'm not," I began with narrowed eyes and an angry expression on my face.

"You are, but it's why people love you," Eric explained. "It's why I do the things I do. You are everything to me and I realized it too late. Is it too late, Belle?"

I sighed heavily. "Eric, I don't know you. Not really anyways."

"Then give me the chance to show you."

"What about Godric? He felt something for me, my mother told me so," I reminded him. "I will say that there is something there."

Eric grabbed my hands into his large ones, his grip felt tight, but I was comforted by it. "Give me a chance, Belle. One date."

I thought about it for a moment before saying, "Fine. ONE DATE! I mean it, no little sub-dates or flowers or something weirdly romantic."

Eric swooped down for a kiss and I froze as I felt my lips moving with his. I mumbled against them, "Hey, this is considered weirdly romantic."

"Good," He mused. "It means you do actually feel something mushy for me. Usually I'm the no-feelings one. It's strange I'll admit that."

Somehow I kept finding myself speechless with these people. I didn't see how I could love any of them Maybe I'm just weird. They all seemed genuine towards the truth whenever I asked.

"Why do I hate you? Why don't I love you?" I asked hastily, very curious at his answer.

"People got in the way." He said softly. "In a way, we weren't ready to be together."

"If you weren't a master at lying, I might've believed that Romeo and Juliet plot line, but I'm a pessimist. I can smell the bullshit coming out of your mouth."

I grabbed his arm and saw a flash of something. We stared at each other as he questioned, "I thought you were human?"

I nodded. "I don't think that those winged bible freaks tricked me into thinking that I was human?"

"Belle, I don't think so. What did you see?"

I crossed my arms over my chest as I replied, "Me trying to escape time after time. Escape Plans A-Z?"

Eric let the smallest smile grace his face. "You were my maid. That was the deal I made with your father."

"I'm not your maid."

"Servant then."

I scoffed loudly. "I am NOT your servant or slave either."

"I still have the contract, the new one that you signed when Godric married you. The evil part of him that is. It breached out deal," Eric explained.

"So Godric is my pervy corpse husband," I said to him, but mostly to myself since no one told me this. All my mother gave to me was the bigger pieces of the puzzle and not the little ones. Gave me the plot, but no background. I wondered if she did it on purpose or on accident as she knew that she wouldn't have time to tell me. "Call those angelic bastards."

"They won't answer to me since in a way vampires are part of Hell, not Heaven," Eric vented, clearly pissed off at my angelic uncles. "Sookie can help."

"Maybe I'm getting my memories back. Sookie can read minds, right? Maybe she can go into mine and try to find them," I proposed. I looked to the clock. "Sookie might be at work still. Let's go bug her!"

Sookie kept saying she wasn't mad at us for being the worst customers she ever had, but anyone could tell Sookie was mad because Tinkerbell liked to really hit the first words in her sentence. And her mouth always tightened.

I downed my fourth vanilla milkshake when I started to get a brain freeze. Shit! I don't think brain freezes have images flying across your mind. I frowned as I saw something purple and orange then Sookie and a word…"blah".

I heard myself saying aloud, "I had a purple hat-it was pointed too. A-and a broomstick. It was orange."

Eric and Sookie looked at me in surprise. Sookie sat down as she smiled. "Yeah, you had a broomstick, B. Your purple hat popped up in your hands the day we-"

"Became friends," I finished, my eyebrows furrowing. "A woman with horrible hair tried to hurt you."

"Yes!" Sookie said with excitement and tears in her eyes as she leaned over, grabbing my hands. "Yes, B. We're best friends. That horrible woman was Bill's maker, Lorena. You said that she was a rapist and you saved Bill from her. You liked zapping people away."

I laughed. "That does sound like something I would do."

"Well, that's because you're a dick," Alcide said as he came towards us. "Hey, little sis."

"Don't call me that," I growled. "Sookie, get me another shake. Make it a double."

Sookie chuckled and went back to work as Alcide took her place. "We need to talk."

"Nope," I said. "We don't. Eric and I are here on a date."

Eric scoffed. "This is not the date, Belle. Stop trying to get out of it."

I rolled my eyes. "Come on, corpse. This is totally date-material."

I tried not to scowl as I glanced around the loud bar then turned back to Eric smiling. "I mean look we got a candle here and there. Music, food, and obnoxiously loud people who are treating their waiters like shit because they think they're royalty. My god, this is a date, Eric Northman."

Alcide laughed and put his word in even though no one asked him to. "Belle, this is not...Merlotte's is-"

"Trash," Eric finished with a look full of disdain. "Pure sad trash. Not good enough for the likes of you, Belle. I intend to made it something to remember."

I scowled. "Mmm. I don't like it. What did I say about being weirdly romantic with me?!"

"Why the long face, dog?" I asked, catching a sad tired look on Alcide's face.

He sighed. "Debbie cheated on me with our pack master. I really thought she changed. I guess you were right about her."

"What not?"

"Yeah. You kept telling me to be careful and that you still didn't trust Debbie just because she got a different hair color and changed her awful wardrobe."

"Wow...I guess you really should've listened to me then, huh?" I joked. Nobody laughed which really sucked. God, being human sucks! Seriously, I feel like ever since I became human, no one laughs at my jokes or antics anymore. Have I lost my touch? "Give me the bitch's address."

"Why?"

I rolled my eyes. Does he not see my intent to harm? Eric does, Hell, the dick is grinning at me. He knows! "So I can knock her teeth out."

"Are you serious?"

"No, we're going to get our nails down and go shopping," I mocked with heavy sarcasm. "Yes, I'm serious. I'm going to kick her hairy dog legged ass."

Eric's phone rang and he answered, "Hello, Bill. What do you want?"

Eric growled while Alcide told me, "I have half a mind to let you loose, but it would only throw gasoline onto the fire."

I smiled "That sounds like a perfect ending for everyone. So you're letting go?"

"Yeah, I am. Adjourned her and everything."

There was this unexplainable look on his face, as if he almost regretted it and there was disappointment. "I get it. You can only fix something broken only if it wants to be fixed. You can't be the only to change in the relationship, Alcide. You and Daniella-"

"Debbie," Alcide corrected. "I know you're only forgetting her name to make me feel better."

"Damn." My eyes widened. "I guess you really are my brother. There was this guy-"

"Cooter, right? Yeah, I know about him and you," Alcide interrupted. "He was Debbie's ex until I killed him. He was hurting you."

"He tried to break me, "I corrected. I shook my head. "At one point, I did love him, but I knew better than that. I could see that he would never change. Every time he hit me, he would be nice and give me flowers, then kiss my forehead. The cycle will never end, Alcide. They'll say they're sorry and try to go back to normal, but they never change. They're perfect for each other now that I think about it."

Eric suddenly stood up when his glass cracked in his grip. The broken pieces of glass fell from his hand as he shrug it away. He looked angry as he stared off into the distance. "I have been summoned to Bill's house. I will call you when I leave."

I nodded. Eric surprised me by leaning down to kiss the top of my head before leaving. Alcide looked about to scold me about most likely Eric when he mumbled, "One leaves and another comes."

I turned around to see Godric, I wanted to laugh at how out of place he seemed to be. I waved him over, asking, "What are you doing here, corpse?"

"Looking for you. I was bored at home," Godric answered, clearly confused. He eyed the broken glass on the table. "What happened?"

"Eric," I responded "The little drama queen of a corpse went to see scowl lines."

Alcide and I both got weird vibes from Godric as he first stared hard into the broken glass before shifting his eyes to me. When I tired to move the glass away, he grabbed my hand, stabbing a jagged piece of the glass into my hand. I screamed out in pain and saw Alcide being thrown by Godric across the room. As my blood spilled from the hole in my hand, Godric produced a vial. Where the fuck did he hide that thing?! I mean seriously though, was it up his pale ass?!

When the vial was done filling, he smirked and said, "Miss me?"

A name came to my mind, but I couldn't remember. All I knew was that this wasn't Godric and this guy was bad to the fucking bone.

"Burn in hell!"

"Thank God for Halloween, The veil is down, B." He laughed-it was an evil laugh might I add. "I'm not the only one looking for you. Run, little one. Run before the boogeyman catches you."

Sookie's hand lit up as she ran to me, Godric was thrown away from us. Sookie and I ran outside as I yelled, "What about Alcide?"

"He'll hold off Gary!"

Gary! That's it! Eric told me only a little about Godric's alter-ego. Damn, that's so basic. I'm disappointed in myself honestly for not thinking of a better name.

Outside of the bar, we saw Holly smoking and dressed up as a fairy. She looked worriedly at us. "What happened? I heard screaming."

"Evil Godric is here, and he wants my blood," I explained hastily. "He said that there are others and the veil is down."

"Shit." Holly murmured, putting out her pot. "He's right. All Hallow's Eve is when the veil between the living and the dead does down and they can walk around our world. That's why creepy shit always happens on Halloween, hun."

"What do we do to get rid of the perv?"

Before Holly could respond, Tara raced up to us, yelling, "Marnie's back! I think she's in Lafayette's body. She killed Jesus, took his power and shit."

"I killed her when I hurt Hecate and Lucifer," I reminded her. "Could it be them controlling Marnie?"

Tara shook her head. "I don't know. The veil is down."

"So every kind of shit is loose," Holly added. "Where did she say she was going?"

I didn't like the look on Tara's face when Holly asked her.

STUPID POLTERGEISTS!

Tara, Sookie, Holly, and I arrived to Bill's house in record time. Though with Tara driving like a maniac, I seriously wanted to kiss the ground when we stopped. Bill and Eric were silvered to a wooden post with piles of wood beneath the-HOLY SHIT, HE'S GOT NO SHIRT ON! I stared transfixed at the sight of his chest. Sookie was calling my name as I whispered, "When did Eric get hot?"

Holly started to make a circle of salt around the corpses and us as Tara and Sookie tried to talk to Marnie and get her out of Lafayette's body. I slid behind her and went to Eric who whispered, "You are horny for me right now? When I might die?"

"Hey, don't blame my slut tendencies, okay?! You know how I get. Your chest...your body-just be grateful, corpse, that I'm admiring you!"

"Not right now," Eric countered. "Do you honestly think my death-"

"Hey, little girl!" Marnie-Lafayette yelled at me. "Get away from them! I see right through you bitch!"

I rolled my eyes. "First things first, I'm not girl, you old hag. I happen to be related to God and Lucifer is my horrible uncle so who do you think you are telling me what to do."

"Belle, don't," Bill snapped. "You have no powers. Marnie is strong than you!"

I threw my hands up in the air in frustration. "DAMN IT, SCOWL LINES! No one knew that I had no powers." I scoffed. " Besides, I am not gonna let this witch bitch think she has any power over me."

Marnie-Lafayette stood closer to me as she advised, "Kill me, honey. You killed her, you killed Hecate! She was everything to me, and you took her away! She was like a mother to me, she guided me. You killed her. I got nothing left to lose, but you have everything to lose. It's your weakness."

I scowled "Weakness? Is that how you see me? I am not weak. I have survived more shit than you could ever imagine and I swear to every fucking God, goddess, ghoul, demon, angel that if you harm Eric then you will wish that you really died that night I did what I did to Hecate. You saw what I did."

"Show me then, bitch," She warned. "Show me your great power!"

When nothing happened, she laughed in my face. The bitch actually laughed before saying in Latin, "Incendia of sanctimonia!"

"NO!" I screamed as I saw flames burst onto the pile of wood, burning Eric and Bill. Sookie tried to help them by running straight for the fire until the fire became hotter and flames bigger.

"Sookie!"

"I can't just stand there and do nothing," she argued with Tara as I watched Eric burn. I felt tears falling down my face, feeling so hopeless in that moment as I knew that because I was human, I couldn't anything to save him like before. I felt utterly useless.

Sookie zapped Marnie-Lafayette away and out of the circle as Holly grabbed our hands. "Belle, come one! You still got witch's blood in you! No one can take that away!"

I sniffled and grabbed Holly and Tara's hands, the forcefield came up, blocking Marnie-Lafayette out who's face turned into some blue demon type of shit with horns and everything. We then started to chant, "Spirits who watch over us. Friends, family, ancestors, guardians of the gates. Spirits who watch over us. Friends, family, ancestors, guardians of the gates. With this rite we evoke thee. Through the veil of Samhain, we call thee forth. We evoke thee. Through the veil of Samhain, we call thee forth. Spirits who watch over us, friends, family, ancestors, guardians of the gates."

I squeezed my eyes shut as I heard Eric keep screaming in pain, I actually prayed to God to save him. Please save him. I need him. I...please save him. I love him.

I was shocked at my own thoughts and how honest they were. I opened my eyes and locked eyes with Eric, I stopped chanting just for a moment. I whispered, "I can't lose you. Don't die, don't leave me."

"HEY! OLD HAG!" Someone shouted.

We turned to the voice as the flames blew out suddenly and Lillian put her hand down, forcing Marnie-Lafayette to her knees. "Sit down."

Lillian looked fearful even though she was only a fifteen year old girl with an innocence to her. I walked slowly over to her, questioning, "Lillian?"

"Hey sis," she greeted softly. "My, you're a looker. What happened to that awkward scrawny girl?"

"I grew up."

Lillian snorted. "You're a terrible liar."

"Where's mom?"

Lillian had a sad smile on her face. "I don't know. Sometimes an selfless act can't change a past, Belle."

Lillian turned to Marnie-Lafayette. "Now you, well, you don't belong here. I'm here to take you away."

"Fuck you," she seethed at her.

"Watch your language, honey," Gran chided.

I heard Tara curse behind me as Sookie said in surprise, "Gran?"

My eyes widened as Antonia appeared, saying, "Come with us, Marnie. It is time for you to come home. Lillian and I are waiting for you. If you're waiting for Hecate, don't. She never cared for you, but we did. Who did you think guided you truly?"

"I'm not finished yet."

"Oh, yes, you are," Gran announced before shoving her hand inside of Lafayette's throat and pulling out a dark spirit. Marnie appeared in full form as she hissed at Lillian, "I'm not afraid anymore. I've got real power now. And you want to take that away from me? You want them to win? After everything they did to you?! All because you wanted to be free?!"

Lillian scoffed. "Of course not. I despise them all after what happened. It wasn't them that killed me. It was one of my own. Marnie, there is no winning here when you crave something as destructive as vengence."

"Why does it have to hurt so much?" Marnie muttered in dejection.

"Oh, Marnie," Antonia started. "Marnie, can't you see? Life is pain. But soon all you have suffered and feared will be meaningless. You will be at peace, but them...they'll be stuck here."

"Forever," Lillian added. "And trust me, there is no victory in that."

Marnie burst into screams as I jumped away from her in fright. Damn, she's got lungs on her.

Gran smiled and laughed, "That's right, honey! Let it all out 'Cause there's no room for that where we're goin'."

"Oh, this fuckin' sucks."

"Change is hard."

Lillian let out a breath. "How do you think I felt?"

"Ah, you were the worst," Antonia drawled out.

"Hey!" Lillian snapped angrily. "I'm not that bad! At least I came."

"It was worse than burning alive," Antonia argued with her.

Lillian rolled her eyes. "Whatever. You're just mad because I am the greatest witch alive and more powerful than you AND people actually remember me."

Antonia scoffed then turned to Marnie. "See what I mean? You learn to love the little shit."

As they turned to walk away, Sookie went to her Gran as I went to Lillian. "One, don't ever use my nicknames for people. I don't care how cool you may sound, but just stop it."

"Okay, enough," Lillian sighed before hugging me tightly. "I missed you."

I smiled. "I miss you too. Don't go, I need to know. I suck at life and being human."

Lillian smirked. "You may think you need me, but you're doing just fine, Belle. I'm so proud of you. You brought honor to our family. We're all so proud of the woman you've become especially under the circumstances."

"But?"

"Eric," Lillian added as she frowned. "I know what it's like being in love with a powerful vampire.I loved Sophie-Ann, but she wanted forever with me and I couldn't give her that. It wasn't me. He will want forever with you, Belle. Don't expect to walk into this and come out still alive...and human. He will want to turn you."

I shook my head. "You're wrong. Eric won't turn me against my will."

Lillian smiled sadly. "He will when he thinks he's about to lose you. Love makes us do crazy things. Be safe, sister."

I nodded. "I'll try, but with the track record on my friends, it will kind of hard."

Lillian chuckled then frowned once again before her hand glowed and touched my chest. I jumped away from her with angry eyes as I shouted, "What the fuck did you just do?"

"Keep that safe for me, will you?" Lillian said. "God needs you to open your eyes, Belle."

"Open my eyes…" my sentence trialed off. I glared at her. "SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU GIVE ME?!"

"I gave you the sight," Lillian huffed. "Way to ruin the plot line, Belle. See ya later and keep that secret."

I watched as she disappeared along with the others. I went on top of the piles of wood to Eric as I pulled the chains off of him. "Don't ever die on me again, Eric Northman or I'll drag your corpse ass out of hell."

Eric chuckled weakly. "You love me."

I stared at him. "Yes. If you ever die on me again, I'll bring you back just so I can murder you again."

Sookie and Holly helped Bill off as I tried to carry him to the house. I managed to make it to the stairs inside before we fell. "God, you're fucking heavy. Lose weight!"

"Stop body shaming me, Belle. You know you like my body."

I scoffed. "A moment of weakness."

"If you say so," he muttered as we went to the bathroom to wash off the ash. I started to grab the towels as I turned on the bathtub.

Eric weakly took my head and planted a long kiss on my lips. Passion gripped me as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Eric moaned and stood up with his lips still on mine, he managed to remove my shirt and pants as we walked backwards to the tub. Eric's tongue action was fantastic as his danced with mine. I felt something warm hit my body and saw that we were in the tub together with no clothes on! I moved away as I asked, "How the hell did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Take off my bra and underwear, corpse! You're wizard, aren't you? No we don't need this Harry Potter shit in-"

Eric cut me off as he continued to kiss me. I saw the burns on his body and guilt filled me as I pulled away. "Bite me."

Shocked Eric looked very amusing. "What?"

I rolled my eyes. "One time offer, corpse. I'm serious. You're hurt and it's my fault so you can take blood from me."

"It's not your fault-"

"Do you want to bite me or not?! Hurry up, I'm losing my patience and horniess for you." I vented with a huff of annoyance.

Eric pulled me closer and I watched with complete fascination as his fangs popped out. I wanted to touch them, but judging by how sharp they looked, I kept my hands to myself. I let out sharp gasp of pain as he bit directly on my neck. I saw the burns begin to heal on his shoulders and back. I rocked my hips against his erection as his hand tightened in my hair and his arm around my waist. I kissed behind his ear before finding myself beneath Eric.

Eric gazed down at me before I opened my legs. I kissed him as he led himself inside of me. I groaned in pleasure as I leaned my head back into the tub, my nails digging into his back. I was sure that I drew blood. There was this empty thing inside of me when Eric entered me, it felt filled. And no, I'm not talking about my beautiful cave of wonders. Eric planted kissed all over my chest, neck, and face. He nice and he was very big. Eric lifted his hips and thrusted into me. He moaned loudly as I met his thrusts. When he started to pick up his pace, the water kept splashing out of the tub. I laughed. I'm pretty sure we're going to flood the house by the time we're done.

Bill and Sookie will surely hear us and if they haven't by now then they need to get their ears checked especially Bill. His ears are horrible...and hairy...and old too. Poor Sookie.

TBC…

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! I am sorry for the delay, but life got in the way and all my stories suffered a hiatus. Trying to update them, but I do have them written out and I know what I'm going to do with next chapter. We are gonna meet the Authority next chapter and Belle is not happy with them.

30 chapters later and they finally have sex! Yay! I did not intend for them to do it in this one, but then as I was writing it, I just felt the emotion there of losing someone or just the thought of losing them and I felt that it was time for them to act on it. She even let him bite her which I can tell you will probably and most likely never happen again because she values her body like a temple. I don't know if they are together, but yes, I guess from Eric's mind now that she is officially his.

But there are those feelings for Godric that are still there and now that Gary is back for some reason, she's going to think about him more. Godric/Gary is up to no good.

Lillian did it again and gave her power which pisses off Belle because she was human for one day and Lillian was like nope you suck at this so here is the power of sight. Belle can see the future, but she will ignore it. She wants to be a boring human again.

I hoped you liked this chapter.
