Maya's eyes that were once filled with such life and excitement were now lifeless and dead.

She laid there so still on the bed that if her chest hadn't been going up and down, anyone might have thought that she would've been dead. It had been three days, almost twelve hours, and thirty minutes. She was counting in her head as time passed through each passing day. She felt like her life passed by…almost.

She lost the one thing that gave her light to the darkness that surrounded her. It was a girl; Maya was going to name her, "Hope". They had told her that it was a girl and apparently they had buried her as well. Her mother told her that they buried her under a Willow tree on top of a hill that faced the sun and was under the clouds. Of course, Maya didn't respond nor did she respond to anyone who tried to talk to her.

As she lay there on the bed, Maya never let herself think about her daughter. It was just too painful to think about because the one time that she let her guard down and her heart soften-this was why she never wanted children. She wasn't ready for the misery and pain that they would've brought if something terrible happened to them. So Maya did what she did best…she turned off her emotions, forced them out of her mind, locked them in a box, and put it at the bottom of the sea.

Maya knitted her eyebrows in confusion as she heard jeers and cheers of angry men faded in the background of the camp though it was coming closer. Maya stood up and schooled her features, she felt her face become impassive and yet cold as she slipped into a deep red fitted long dress that went around her curves and arms perfectly. It was velvet and silk that flowed throughout her dress. The dress had left her back bare, but her shoulders weren't. Her belly was flat, but it still showed signs of a pregnancy.

She had her curls straightened and twisted into an elegant bun. She made her lips as red as blood and as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, she realized one thing…she looked like a queen. She turned to the tent opening and listened closely. Maya heard them coming closer and she heard the horrible name that they called Jaime being yelled by the men. She turned back to the mirror and studied her reflection again. She looked like a bitch.

Maya smirked at her reflection. And I am going to act like one now.

She walked over to the tent entrance and threw the flaps of the tent open. "What the hell is going on?!"

Every one of the men turned to her-most with stunned looks on their stupid faces and as she slowly walked to Jaime who was on his knees and chained, each one of the men moved out of the way to make a path for her. Maya had a little smirk on her face as she asked again, "Must I repeat myself?"

Karstark stepped forth as she made her way in front. "Princess, this man who you have enough dignity to call your husband and parade around about it, killed my son. Took him from me."

"So you think vengeance is the answer?" she chuckled as she looked to him. "My, my, don't you know enough to know that vengeance will get you nowhere?"

"What do you kno' of vengeance?!" he snapped angrily.

"That is none of your business," she snapped back curtly. "I'm your Princess and you're foolish enough to insult me."

"Foolish?!" he yelled.

"Yes, foolish!" she yelled back. "I know what it is like to have something so precious been torn away from you in the blink of an eye! I know of your anger and believe me when I say that vengeance is not the answer!"

"Any man who stands between a father and his vengeance asks for death," Lord Karstark told her.

She looked at him, her eyes icy. "Well, it's a good thing that I'm not a man then…"

Everyone around them became silent and there was this moment of dominance and power between her and him until her mother's frantic voice came through saying, "Lord Karstark, this man is our prisoner."

"This monster killed my son," he argued.

Maya could feel the burn of Jaime's emerald eyes on her, but she forced herself to ignore them and keep her impassive mask on her face as she looked at Lord Karstark.

"And crippled mine." Her mother added. "He will answer for his crimes, I promise you, but not here. Especially not in front of my daughter."

"Aye, all you care about is your precious daughter…everyone here including yourself has heard of the rumors about your daughter and the Kingslayer." This piped her interest greatly as she raised a curious eyebrow at him.

"What rumors do you hear, my lord?" she asked as she walked up to him.

He lifted up his chin a little. "I really think that now isn't the time, Princess-"

"Come on, Lord Karstark. Just tell me the rumors about my husband and I, unless you're scared of what I may do to you if they…displease me."

"Fine," he grumbled angrily after a moment. "Everyone wonders how you can love someone like Jaime Lannister. A man without honor and a monster who's a ruthless killer. A man who fucks his own sister. There are people who say that you share him with the queen and you sometimes like to join in on their sick game."

Maya couldn't really explain what had happened next.

She saw her hand punch his nose and then once he held it thus him becoming distracted, she saw her leg trip him. He fell onto the dirt ground on his back, his sword on the ground beside him. She picked it up and aimed the tip of the sword at his neck.

"You were right…I was displaced with what you said." Maya told him then slammed the sword into the ground just beside his head.

She looked around at all of their faces who had mixed feelings of fright, confusion, and surprise, but that seemed not to matter to her anymore.

"None of you cannot begin to know how much I despise Cersei Lannister." She bellowed. "She has made it her life mission to destroy my family and everything that we believe in. My father is dead because of her bastard son and her. I am a Stark and if you are wise then you will all remember that because I am pissed off right now so I have no patience for anyone's petty revenge plots against the Lannisters or even Jaime Lannister. Save that anger for the battlefield because we have all lost someone that we love because of this war. I want them dead as much as you do, but I want my sisters back more because Gods only know what they are doing to them. If any of you lay a hand on my husband so help me by The Mother that I will not hesitant to kill you…and you are a fool if you think that I can't hurt you."

"When your brother gets back, I will be sure to tell him that and then I will demand the Kingslayer's head," Lord Karstark said when he stood up. "And if you try and stop me-"

Winter growled behind him loudly as she came from behind a tent and to Maya's side. Winter's right eye had suddenly gone completely black and it made her look more frightening than any other creature she had ever seen. Even she was a little bit frightened by the direwolf. It made Maya wonder what had happened to Winter when she was stuck in the tent to make her entire eye now suddenly pitch black instead of white.

"I will stop you though because I am a Stark of Winterfell and my family is known for our cold stubbornness. If you want someone to blame then blame me, not my husband because it was I who told me to do whatever it takes to get him out of here, to leave me behind and make it back to King's Landing." Maya told Karstark then turned and went back inside of her tent with Winter following behind.

She heard her mother arguing with him again, but she decided to ignore them. She could still feel those emerald eyes of his on her back as she left. She turned her head to the side and caught his eyes as she disappeared into her tent.

Jaime had escaped.

That was what she had heard and her mother helped him do it too along with the Brienne of Tarth.

Maya didn't wear any gowns or dresses right now. She wore black trousers and long black boots with straps on them in order to hold daggers and knifes. She wore a white tunic and a black leather corset around her waist with small gold buckles down the front of it. She had on black leather gloves and a dark blood red coat. She had a belt around her hips with a sword attached to it and other weapons on her hidden away. Her hair was down and curly as always since she decided to let it go wild like Arya had always let her hair gone.

She had managed to get money for herself and some food that would last her for a while. She had tried to get Winter to not to come with her because if anyone had seen Winter then they would know who she was, but Winter had not listened to her. The damn stubborn wolf that she was just walked beside her as they went to where the horses were being kept.

She loves Jaime, but right now she needs to focus on herself and back to her roots. She needs to start from the beginning. If she was going to save her sisters from the queen then she needs to be smarter and stronger than ever. Maya strapped in the horse which was a black stallion. She put a brown saddle on him since she knew for sure that she wasn't going to ride like a woman. She had a black cloak around her body and lifted the hood onto her head concealing her identity from anyone that past her.

Maya smiled softly at him and said, "I think I'll call you…Kaspar because you are lucky and I know that you will protect me, yes?"

Kaspar seemed to nod his head up and down at her. She chuckled and stroked his head then mounted him. Winter was now on alert since they were currently walking out of the camp and deep into the woods. Before she had left, she had written a letter to her mother and brother, telling them not to come looking for her and that she loves them.

She was taking her own advice that she had told Lord Karstark before. If she was going to be a Stark then she would have to do much more work.

Maya needed to go away for a while. She had to make them forget about her until she was ready to come back. She was going to somewhere far away from Westeros, but she was coming back.

Maya and Winter rode beside each other to the East where their destination lied…Braavos.

TBC…

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! I am so sorry that I haven't been updating, but I got a block in my mind. I think it's cleared right now though so YAY!

I know that you're all confused about Maya, but once we get to Braavos and on her journey there, all will be explained on what she is planning on doing to the Lannisters cause now she only wants to get her sisters back, but we all know what happens to a certain YOUNG WOLF so she'll get pretty cold towards others even Jaime at some point, but I will go back and forth between their POV'S along with another lion's POV on what the hell is going on because Maya will become very valuable when she's away.

I didn't want to kill Hope, but she had to die for Maya to be able to see the world through a different light and start to think, "Hey, I really need to get my shit together because gods only know what is even happening to my family." So she has to grow up a little just like Robb had to when he became King as well. She's going through a tough time right now, but she still loves Jaime and just wait for his POV because he does not know about the baby, but as you can see, he somehow knows that deep down inside that their baby is dead though he will be in denial...it's kind of sad actually.

I hope you all liked what I have planned for this story because there will be time jumps, but not drastic ones though I will explain what happened in the meantime to Maya.
