Maya didn't feel anything.

Couldn't feel anything.

Feelings get the ones you care for killed, she thought bitterly.

She didn't feel anything as she saw Oberyn get slammed onto the floor, The Mountain pounding his fist into his face then squeezing the viper's head like it was nothing, but a mere grape. She didn't hear anything as her eyes watched the blood gush quickly out of the head.

Maya watched Tyrion across the yard and absolute misery and surprise that he'd lost the trial slapped him across the face. Maya looked down at the Mountain who was roaring with laughter in his victories. Tywin, Cersei, and all the rest of them were the same except for Tyrion…and Jaime.

No one saw me…good, she thought. Maya slipped in her helmet and thought, let them be surprised and fearful that the Mocking Knight has returned.

THREE DAYS EARLIER…

"Did you sleep with her?" Maya asked hesitantly when she walked into their chambers after the kiss Oberyn shared with her. Jaime looked up at her in curiosity; he seemed to be writing a letter.

"When you said that you always loved her…did you have sex with her?"

Jaime stood up and answered, "No, but I tried to forget you so that you could…"

"So that I could what, Jaime?"

Jaime sighed heavily and walked from the desk near their bed and to her. "Cersei warned me that she would have someone rape and kill you if I stayed with you and didn't come back to her. I was…I was frightened of the thing that my sister had become, but I was more frightened at the possibility of losing you. My sister wanted me to be the man I was before I had met you…she wanted The Kingslayer, not Jaime."

After a moment of silence, bells rung in the background along with the sounds of the city is when Maya responded, "You don't realize the damage you've caused by letting yourself be black mailed by her and saying those things by breaking me completely."

"Tyrion wouldn't talk to me. He called me an idiot because I had let you go. He said that 'You don't meet a woman like that every dynasty.' He was right in the end just like always. I'm sorry that I said all of those things to you. I didn't mean any of them then and even now."

"There's something you should know, Jaime Lannister." Maya told him. "I remember that day. You broke me completely…I broke my vows to you. I planned to give myself to Oberyn since he was there for me and gave me love. This is your karma, Ser Jaime."

Maya turned and walked towards the door, tears in her eyes for which she should not explain. She opened the door, but a golden hand shot out, slamming it shut. She could see her reflection in the hand, tears were in her eyes from what she could tell, but she didn't feel them. Maya let out a soft sob and turned around. Jaime didn't hide his tears or the sadness and hurt along with anger engraved onto his handsome face.

"Did you have sex with him?" Jaime whispered.

She shook her head frantically. "Oberyn told me that we didn't. I don't want to keep things from you."

"How can I trust you?"

"He just told me today. He said that the night that I was attacked was supposed to be the night. It's your fault that I turned to him for comfort, Jaime."

Jaime eyed her curiously after he sniffled. He held the side of her face. "You feel guilty."

"I don't feel anything for him or with him. I can't remember why I didn't what I did, but all I know was that I was at a low point in my life. I just wanted to be happy again. I'm sorry."

Jaime bent his head and rested it in the crook of her neck. "You're right…it is my fault. I should've stood up for myself…I seem to always have a problem with facing the truth and feeling lies."

"There's something else you should know."

"What else?" Jaime asked bitterly.

"It's not about me." Maya told me, tears dried out. "I was talking with Tyrion the other day and he told me something about Cersei and how she was a lying whore who's fucking Lancel, Moon Boy, and Osmund Kettleblack. Tyrion wasn't lying to me."

Jaime backed away from her with a pale expression. He turned away with his back to her. Jaime's rush of emotions were too quick for Maya to identify, but one emotions appeared on his face.

Rage.

"You're lying," he protested when he faced her. "I don't believe you."

"What? Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I'm joking with you?" he snapped angrily. "Honestly are you that jealous of her to where you're telling petty lies now? You know I only love you so why push me further from her?"

"Believe me when I say that there is absolutely nothing to be jealous about over a woman who spends her legs more than a whore does!" Maya said coldly. "I can't believe that you fooled me again!"

"Fooled you?!"

"Yes, I can't believe that I actually let myself be…be weak with you, bit I can tell you that that will never happened again," she seethed.

Maya turned and walked out of the room or well, stormed out. She strode to the dungeon where Tyrion was being held. The guards immediately opened the doors and let her inside as quickly as possible. She could see the hesitant fear lingering in their eyes when she walked past them.

Maya walked to the cell and opened it with the key she had always hidden in her corset tied onto her long golden chain. Tyrion looked up surprised and sighed, "Why am I not surprised that you would have the key to my freedom?"

"Because you know me too well," she replied with a smirk. "I thought…I feel so foolish."

"Why?"

"I thought that he loved me. I thought that I could still be the woman that I was before. Kind, compassionate, naïve, but I can't. It appears I can't be weak anymore."

"What are you saying, Maya," Tyrion asked worriedly.

"A pretty fool…I feel as though that is all a girl can only be in this world," Maya responded quietly, looking into the distance. "I was beginning to lose my…goal you see. I came back for a reason and that reason needs to be fulfilled so Tyrion this is where you'll come in."

"What do you want from me exactly? I can't tell anymore if whether or not you're lying or pretending," Tyrion asked, a little fearful of the answer that he would get from her.

"That's good that you can't tell," she mused. "Makes things easier. Your trial is in two days."

"And?"

"Tywin asked Oberyn to be a judge a long with Mace Tyrell. Two against one, their vote would override Oberyn's, you're pronounced guilty by the Gods, and are immediately put to death."

"Aren't you optimistic," he praised sarcastically. "You're my friend, aren't you supposed to encourage me to have hope and hope for unicorns and crops or something?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Would you rather I lie to you?" Silence. "That's what I thought. Listen, well, Tyrion, you don't have a chance of winning this ridiculous trial. You could have the killer throw himself at the Iron Throne, confess to his crimes, gave hard evidence of his guilt, and you would still lose. They are judging you because you are a dwarf just like I will always be a traitorous Stark. We can't change who we are, but I will tell you this…a small man can cast a large shadow that men would tremble to step over."

"Valid point," he said. "What are you planning?"

"It appears I am friends with Oberyn and when I say friends, I mean friends," she explained.

"Tell me you didn't," he snapped angrily.

"The Past Maya was going to on the night I was attacked, but now I don't feel anything towards him."

"Does Jaime know?"

"Yes. I'm going to distance myself from him. I'm losing sight of my goal."

"What is your goal and how does it involve the Viper and I?"

"I'm going to get you out of here, Tyrion. I have a plan." She assured him.

"Oh, then what if that fails, huh? Please tell me that you have a Plan B." Tyrion warned her.

"I have a Plan C and if that fails a Plan D and if that fails-well, you know how the alphabet goes, my friend," Maya teased.

She went towards Tyrion and bent down, leaning close so that she could whisper into his ear.

Tyrion's eyes became wide when she whispered in his ear. He just looked at her as she stood up and walked to the door, opening it, his eyes watching her carefully.

"This is the last time that I can come down here and visit you. No one must know of our friendship because then by hurting you they will hurt me and they will know of it too." She smiled sadly at Tyrion and he was reminded of the old Maya who had all of her memories.

"Good-Bye, Tyrion." She said softly then walked out of the cell, locking it behind her.

Tyrion was left by himself once again and in the silence of his dirt covered cell would he whisper into the darkness, "Good-Bye, May."

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! UGH, YOU GUYS ARE TOO NICE TO ME SOMETIMES!

So Maya's getting her memory back in bits and pieces. I wonder what she told Tyrion that shocked him to his core. I decided to give you a little preview of what's to come in the chapter of the next one which will be a short one like this one. Tyrion's trial is the next chapter along with an overdo confrontation between The Evil Queen and The Wicked Wolf. It gets pretty nasty actually, so basically they're just fanning the flames of hatred for each other. Jaime tries to make amends as always, but he does it in a surprising way. Maya avoids Oberyn like the plague, but he seeks her out. I hoped you all liked this chapter.

P.S. I hope you guys know that Jaime never sent the assassin to kill Bran while he was in a coma in the TV series and in the books…it was Joffrey who did because he wanted to impress his father, Robert..this kid's so fucked up sometimes. Don't believe me then look it up. Sorry, but not sorry that Jaime didn't do that act.
