Maya stared at the person across from her as they sat on in the private area reserved in the gardens, facing the sea.

"The silent treatment," Oberyn mused. "That's very rude of you."

Her smile was bitter as she replied, "Well, excuse me, my prince, if I am not a little pissed off that I was dragged here by your guards against my will."

Oberyn laughed loudly. "We both know that you could have taken easily if you wanted to, but you didn't."

Maya sighed and looked away from him as the servants came with their breakfast, setting it down in front of them. She thanked them and turned back to Oberyn who was eying her intensely.

"I understand that I upset you with my intentions towards you and I can see that you didn't take the information well that I had lain upon you," Oberyn apologized.

Maya nodded. "Yes, I'll confess that the information was shocking to me. I'm sorry, Oberyn, that I do not remember what we had, but I will tell you this and that is that I value your friendship as much as I value Tyrion's. I…I was in a vulnerable place when you came into my life and I would have fallen for you if I hadn't met Jaime Lannister."

Maya's eyes were glistening as she continued, "I know that I shouldn't love him, believe me I do after everything that he's done to my family and I don't know why I love him so much. It's the most ironic thing I've ever realized…a Stark loving a Lannister…two families who hate each other. I wonder how this war even started and I sometimes blame myself. Even though I don't remember what happened between Jaime and me, but I know it's something worth saving."

There was this long moment of silence between them until Oberyn ended it by asking in disgust and slight anger, "How can you love a man like Jaime Lannister?"

"I believe in him," she confessed. "I still believe that there is good inside of him and that his heart is true. I believe that he can change and has. Seven hells has he changed since I first met him and I remember when that happened. He's not the same arrogant, selfish man that I'd met earlier. He feels for others and he's a protector and the thing I love about him most is that he doesn't accept glory like most men do for the history books.

"If he were like the rest of his family then my head would be on a spike, Tyrion would have probably killed himself because of being tortured emotionally by his family, and he would have let King Aerys the man who killed thousands and tortured so many innocents, he would have let him live. Would you have let them him live as well? Don't you dare sit there, Oberyn Martell and tell me that he is ugly on the inside because of what his father did to your sister and her children. You are forgetting that my father, brothers, and mother were murdered by them as well."

She let her words sink in before she continued, "My father always told me that the man who gives the sentence, should swing the sword. You and I both know that Tywin gave both orders. Jaime doesn't like the rape of women and how I know this is my own business so don't put your hatred on him because he would have saved her if he could, but he didn't even know what was going on."

"You can't lie to me and tell me that he didn't know. His father's army was at the gates, waiting. It was a large army and could be seen from miles and miles away." Oberyn argued.

"I don't bluff, Oberyn so when I say something then it is true to its word. So listen closely, if you do anything to my family, Jaime and Tyrion including, I will repay the dent, my friend because winter is coming. I am The Wicked Wolf and I will sharpen my claws in threatened. You saw what happened to Ser Meryn, didn't you?"

"Such a coincidence that he was murdered right before the trial where he was supposed to testify against him."

"And you remember that I will testify for Tyrion's innocent," she reminded him as she drank her tea, smiling.

"I remember very clearly," He replied.

"Good."

Maya's fists clenched as she sat in the front, near where Tyrion was shackled up like an animal on the stand. She watched with curious eyes as people she didn't know had testified against Tyrion. There really shouldn't be an audience for this…I feel like punching the shit out of them right now especially the men behind me and the women next to me who wouldn't stop gossiping and making cruel jests about Tyrion.

"I think you have made your point, Grand Master," Oberyn interrupted him as he read off his many poisons. She caught Jaime's smile at her irritated expression and she gestured discreetly to the women and men behind her then rolled her eyes. Jaime turned back to what was happening as he didn't want to laugh at this very moment. "You have a lot of poison in your store."

"Had," Pycelle emphasized. "Prince Oberyn. My stores were plundered."

"By who?" Tywin questioned.

"By the accused, Tyrion Lannister," Pycelle insisted.

Tyrion lay causally against inside of the stand as he rolled his eyes. I guess Jaime was right about my influence on Tyrion…he's already developed my annoyance at people in the Capital.

"After he had me wrongfully imprisoned," Pycelle added angrily towards Tyrion who looked unaffected by his statement.

"Grand Maester," Tywin started. "You examined King Joffrey's corpse. Was it not poison that killed him?"

"Without question," Pycelle said immediately then proceeded to pull out a necklace-Sansa's necklace. "This necklace was found on the body of Ser Dontos, the King's fool. He was last seen leading Sansa Stark, the rightfully accused away from the scene. She wore this necklace at the day of the wedding. Residue of the deadliest poison was found inside."

"Was this one of the poisons stolen from the store?" Tywin questioned.

Maya rolled her eyes because this trial was so predictable. It was taking everything in her not to jump up and be Tyrion's…well, not be his defender. I wonder what they would call that…

"The Strangler," Pycelle answered. "Poison few in the Seven Kingdoms posses. And used to strike down the most noble child the Gods have ever put on this Earth."

Maya put a hand over her mouth and held in her laugh at that. Yes, because beatings and murders of innocents plus so many more sins made Joffrey noble, she thought sarcastically.

Pycelle exited the stand and Cersei was called to the stand. Maya did not bother to listen to her, but one thing caught her attention, "I will hurt you. The day will come when you think you are safe and happy and your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth and you'll know the debt is paid."

"Your own brother said this to you," Mace Tyrell questioned in astonishment.

OH, GODS! SHE HAD SAID WORSE THINGS TO HIM!

Maya pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration as she crossed her legs and listened.

Cersei even pulled the tears in her eyes things as she nodded. "He said this before the Battle of Blackwater Bay. I confronted him about his plans to put Joffrey on the front lines. Joffrey wanted to stay on the front lines to inspire his troops."

Oberyn sat up and said to her, "Tyrion said 'and you will know the dept is paid'. What debt?"

"I discovered he'd been keeping whores in the Tower of the Hand. I'd ask him to confine his salacious acts to the brothels for where such behavior belongs. He wasn't pleased."

Why in the seven is he taking this shit?! Gods, damn them all…

"Thank you, Your Grace," Mace replied.

Cersei returned to her seat, but not before seeing Maya glare at her and then her lips curled.

Varys was called to the stand and mentioned something of a threat made to Joffrey, but he didn't explain why Tyrion had done…no one was explaining the truth behind the outbursts. This was getting ridiculous. Tyrion had no chance of winning this trial now.

"Speak softly to me then," Varys quoted. "Monsters are dangerous and just now kings are dying like flies."

Maya's heart clenched suddenly and she remembered that this would have to be right after Robb's death. Her lips thinned and fists clenched together as she tried to control her anger.

"So it was at the meeting of the small council," Mace questioned.

"Yes after we had received word of Robb Stark's death. He didn't seemed gladden of the news, perhaps his marriage to Sansa Stark had made him more sympathetic to The Northern calls," Varys answered.

This time as they all awed at that, everyone had heard a small laugh coming from Maya.

Everyone looked at her and she sighed with a small smirk coming from Tyrion.

"Is there something you would like to say, Lady Maya?" Tywin questioned in annoyance.

"I would actually if you're quite finished with Lord Varys," she boldly told them.

Tywin gave her a bitter smiled and said, "You're excused, Lord Varys."

There were gasps in the crowd as Lord Varys exited the stand.

"Father, may I ask the witness one question," Tyrion asked.

Tywin thought about it for a moment before answering Tyrion like he was some sort of child compromising with their father, "One."

Tyrion turned to Varys and said, "You once said that without me this city would have faced certain defeat. You said that the histories would never mention me and you would not forget. Have you forgotten this, Lord Varys?"

Varys had a small smile appear on his face as he answered, "Sadly, my lord, I never forget a thing."

"We will adjure for now. Toll the bells in an hour's time and then the Lady Maya will testify." Tywin said as he stood up along with everyone else, leaving the room.

Maya immediately went to Tyrion and glared at one of the guards, "Don't you dare try to stop or I'll break your cock."

He backed away in fear at her vindictive tone of voice. She turned to Tyrion as he whispered, "You shouldn't have laughed."

"Oh, come on," she teased. "That was funny and you know it."

Tyrion had the smallest smile on appear on his grim face. "Jaime's not pleased."

"I don't care because it's you. I don't like what they are saying about you especially when I know that there must've been a reason behind your words like the threat to Joffrey and Cersei."

"Joffrey planned to have Sansa eat your brother's head. I told him that she wasn't his to torment anymore and he called me a monster," Tyrion explained shortly.

Maya smiled. "I knew it. And Cersei?"

"She found that I had feelings for a whore, but didn't know which one. So she took Ros and had the guards beat her so that I would agree to her power over me. She wanted to remind me that I had a weakness. It was actually Shae that I was in love with and luckily, she had figured it out. She protected Sansa, you know since she was one of her handmaidens."

"Thank you," Maya confessed.

"Still angry at my brother," Tyrion asked.

"Why?"

Tyrion looked behind her and she turned around to face Jaime who had been there this entire time, eavesdropping.

"I have things to do, Tyrion, I'll be back," Maya said before striding away from him with Jaime hot on her heels.

Tyrion watched the married couple with great amusement as he shook his head. Maya looked her role as her hair looked darker with long curls twisted into an elegant bun as always. Her dress was a deep rich red gown that was wrapped itself like a second skin from her waist up. Her dress flowed behind her as she strode away. Diamond drop earrings hung from her ears and a silver chain wrapped around her neck while another necklace hung between her breasts with a single ruby hanging in the middle.

She looked more like a Lannister than ever and the exact image of what Ser Jaime Lannister's wife would look like…

"Maya, wait," he called and then grabbed her arm gently when he caught up with her. "I have to make a plea for Tyrion with my father. I need you to agree to what I am about to ask you."

She knitted her eyebrows in confusion and faced him. "What is it? What deal are you making with him, Jaime?"

"I'm sorry," he told her first. "For what I said to you. That was…I was jealous of what you felt for Oberyn and I was angry for what had happened."

"I remember you saying something to me long ago…" she racked her mind of the words which were on the tip of her tongue as she looked at him. "You said if I kissed another man, you swore you would kill them. Is this true?"

Jaime nodded. "I love you, Maya. I can't lose you. I need you. I can't stop loving you, Maya. I'm afraid that my love for you won't be enough one day and that I will wake up one day and you will be gone and have run off with a man."

Maya leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips. "Ask Oberyn how I feel about you, Jaime. I don't love Oberyn Martell, I love you. I love my Jaime Lannister, my Golden Lion, my Ser Jaime, my Lord Commander, and I love my Kingslayer."

Jaime smiled and breathed a loud sigh of relief as he leaned his forehead against her own, cupping her face with his hand. Jaime gave her a long passionate kiss and then she asked, "What deal are you going to make with him?"

"I'm going to give him an heir."

"Jaime, he already has you." Maya reminded him. "What can you possibly give him?"

"I'm going to let him have our son…to let my father teach him-"

"What?! No!" she shouted as she immediately backed away from him. "He will not have him-"

"So you are with child," he questioned nervously.

Maya turned around and held her stomach protectively in her arms. "I didn't want to tell you because I was afraid of one of our enemies using it against us."

Jaime turned her around and held her in his arms even though she was slightly reluctant. "I'm sorry. I'm not really going to do that to you, my little wolf."

"Then why did you say it," she asked so softly that it nearly broke Jaime's heart just hearing her.

"Because you've been so secretive lately that I didn't if you would tell me or not if I had asked."

"You didn't have to frighten me."

"Would you have told me the truth when asked?"

Maya bit her lip and shook her head as she wrapped her arms around his waist, not caring about his armor digging into her painfully.

"Exactly…I'm your husband and I love you. I want to know of these things. Please, Maya, don't keep things from me." Jaime dug his face in the crook of her neck, kissing it lightly. "I can't have you lie to me too."

Maya opened her mouth to reply when bells tolled and her heartbeat quickened. She pulled away and Jaime kissed the side of her head.

"What are we going to do about Tyrion, Jaime? You and I both know that this trial has no happy ending for Tyrion and he will die."

Jaime sighed heavily. "I don't know."

"I have a plan," she whispered in his ear before pecking him on the lips and then stepping around him to walk calmly back into throne room.

After they all sat in their usual places, Tywin spoke, "The trial may call its next witness, Lady Maya Lannister."

Maya stood up and calmly walked onto the stand, everyone watched her closely as she looked at everyone in front of her.

After a moment of silence, she spoke, "I am a Stark of Winterfell. Let's just get that out of the way, shall we? The Lannisters murdered my family at my brother's wedding. You're all probably wondering why I laughed…well, King Joffrey Baratheon hated my family, every one of us. I swear on my life that Grand Maester Pycelle was lying to all of you when he said that the king was not glad that one of his enemies was dead. He loved torturing my sister because she was there."

"You dare say these accusations against the crown-" Mace Tyrell lectured loudly in rage.

"He had various members of the Kingsguard beat her and me when I returned to the Capital. He ordered the deaths of thousands because someone threw a pie at him. It started an uncontrollable mob in just seconds, people were getting raped, beaten, killed, and eaten as well. King Joffrey made a lot and when I say a lot, I mean a lot of enemies so when Tyrion had told the king of his resemblance to King Aerys and how he had a sword in his back by one of his own, he was trying to warn him that someone will try to kill him if he keeps on acting the way he is," Maya easily lied.

She knew that that wasn't the reason why Tyrion had said those words perhaps, but she had to play the game.

"He wasn't threatening him. I mean Joffrey was his nephew and Tyrion was trying to protect him. He was his uncle, he was only trying to protect him from his enemies who were trying to destroy his spirit," Maya told them. She nearly smiled when the crowd awed.

"I'm confused, a minute ago, you declared your hatred for the king," Mace said.

"I never said that." She snapped at him coldly. "You assume that because I am a Stark and the Lannisters killed my family that I must hate everyone, my lord. That's a very rude thing to say to someone, now let me finish. Tyrion Lannister, he may take whores to bed, but honestly, what man hasn't done that? It's second nature to them. My own father, the honorable Eddard Stark had taken a whore to his bed. We are human beings, we are weak to the pleasures of life, and Tyrion Lannister is just like everyone else, but he is being judged wrongly. He shouldn't be the one here on this stand. Joffrey's murderer is still out there, but it is neither my sister nor my brother-in-law. It could be anyone, but it's not Tyrion. Tyrion wouldn't kill a child, no matter how cruel or kind or horrible they may be. He doesn't have it in him."

"Did you kill the King Joffrey?" Tywin asked suspiciously.

Maya smirked and got off the stand, walking to Tyrion, she walked onto his stand and stood beside him as gasps were in the crowd. "I didn't kill him, but I bet that you think I did so it's only best that I stand over here instead since I know after I leave you will throw out anything that I had said in the past couple of moments. You would accuse me in a heartbeat for so many useless reasons if I didn't have an alibi and so would Queen Cersei. I think that because she is grieving that she doesn't know what she's saying actually."

"How dare you, you little bitch," Cersei growled from her seat as she stood up. The crowd gasped in shock and horror while Tyrion smirked beside Maya.

"And finally, her true colors show," Maya said happily. "Do you want to tell them or should I?"

"I should have your head on a spike," she growled as she walked forward.

Maya whistled and she walked towards Cersei as well until they were face to face. This event was actually apart of Jaime's nightmare should the two ever come in contact with each other again, he knew that the claws were out.

His sister and ex-lover versus his wife, the mother of his unborn child, and his love. This is not good…

"Go ahead, your grace, you already put my father's up on there after you made him lie to the people," she snapped angrily at her.

"You lie just like your little cunt of a sister," Cersei yelled in her face, fury in her eyes. Maya saw how uncontrollable she seemed and wondered why no one was stopping them. Stupid males.

"So do you. You had an assassin come in and try to rape me because you were jealous that Jaime loves me and that I actually make him happy and can give him a life while you give him maddening bastards, a bad name, and pain."

Cersei slapped Maya across the face, the room began in an uproar as people started to yell and Tywin begin giving out orders to stop them. Maya slapped Cersei across the face as well. Cersei started to pull her hair while Maya kicked her shin as they were pulled apart, both violently trying to get out of whoever was holding and lunging for the other one.

"Control yourself, Cersei," Tywin bellowed at her as a guard held her back Cersei narrowed her eyes at Maya who had Oberyn and Jaime at her side immediately.

"Are you alright?" Jaime asked her worriedly then he glared at Oberyn.

Oh, no…the message did not get across to Oberyn that…shit on a stick!

Maya nodded as Jaime lightly touched her stomach. She held his hand and very slowly pulled it away in secret. "I'm tired."

Jaime nodded then Oberyn spoke to her, "Are you sure?"

Maya nodded firmly. "I'm alright. Just that really took energy out of me for someone reason."

"Jaime, what's wrong?" Tywin asked in a soft calm voice as he strode up to them.

Jaime sighed and shook his head. "Nothing, father-"

"Lady Lannister is with child," Oberyn said.

Maya closed her eyes in frustration and leaned her head against his cold armor before turning away from them, striding out of the throne room, no one stopping her.

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! YOU GUYS ARE TOO AWESOME TO ME! I know that the fight between Cersei and Maya was a little wind and unpractical and would never happen in GOT, but this is an AU story. That literally just came to me because Cersei was crazy that season and she blew up.

Next chapter, Tyrion makes an announcement that will change their lives forever while Tywin makes a deal planning out his grandchildren's' futures. Jaime and Maya talk a walk down memory lane while Cersei only becomes angrier. I hoped you liked this chapter.
