"Do you still love him?" Jaime asked carefully.
Maya shook her head. "Of course not especially not when he insulted my family which is you and Tyrion basically."
"What did he say?"
She held his hands, telling him, "Nothing you need to concern yourself with. I'm still in love with you, we're married, and are having a beautiful child together…there's no possible way that I could ever love him."
"Then he's a possible threat anyways," Jaime concluded. "I'll find out where he's been and why he's here now."
"No," she said urgently. "He won't tell you, but he might tell me. I think that Cersei brought him here or something under false pretenses."
"You think my sister did this?"
She scoffed. "Jaime, she tried to have me raped and killed not too long ago. We're lucky that he didn't kill our child…I can't lose another child, it would completely break me."
Jaime growled lowly yet fiercely in his chest at the mention of that event. "I will kill her I swear it on-"
"Hush," she told him softly, stroking his golden hair back. "Don't waste your breath on her."
She grabbed his hand, placing it over the small bump under her small clothes as they lay in bed together. Jaime smiled down at their joined hands then kissed her stomach, whispering something she wasn't able to hear.
"Tomorrow," he said firmly.
"What's happening tomorrow?" she asked curiously, her eyes drooping.
"We're leaving for Casterly Rock tomorrow night. We're not safe here now and I won't risk you both getting hurt again," Jaime answered, kissing her passionately on the lips.
Maya smiled brightly, wrapping her arms around his neck, and having him underneath her as she laughed. "I love you so much right now, Jaime!"
Jaime laughed as well, quickly, rolling them around so that he was on top of her. She licked her lips and opened her legs. Her hands unlaced her top to where you could see the top of her breasts. His hand went to the helm of her small clothes and lifted it up. He chuckled darkly as he saw how wet she was.
"I can't wait until we're alone at The Rock because then I can make scream my name all day long," Jaime purred as he gave her one long lick.
"He can't hear you. No one can. Scream all you want, my lady, the Queen made sure that no one was around," his voice replayed in her head over and over again. "Fuck you bloody until you screamed my name and tell me to keep going."
She shook her head to get him out of her mind as she moaned loudly when Jaime's tongue started to dance all around her.
His hand went to her hot core and rubbed the sensitive nub slowly. Maya moaned softly and he lightly kissed her lips. His hand went to her breast and squeezed it. She let out a moan against his lips and he smiled at how wet she was because of him. Her head leaned back as she moaned in pleasure when his finger started to speed up and he kissed her neck, nibbling on a spot on it that seemed to make her go crazy.
He stopped rubbing and kissed her hard on the lips. Her hands roamed over the hard muscle covering his glorious body. His hand gripped her hip as he kissed his way down between her breasts. She quickly unlaced his breeches when he kissed up her body, taking out his hard cock.
Maya moved her hands in a torturous slow pace up and down his length.
"That's not nice."
She bit her bottom lip, pecking his lips.
"I don't care," she whispered, turning on Jaime even more.
Jaime grabbed her hips, slamming inside of her as he growled her name.
"Oh, Jaime."
A knock was heard on her chamber door causing her eyebrows to knit in confusion. Maya walked over to the door, opening it. She was thankful that Jaime was with Bronn, practicing again. He'd been committed to making his left hand as good as his right hand had been before.
"I thought I told you-"
"To go away. I know."
"If my husband was here then he would cut you in half for even talking to me, how did you manage to make it past the guards?"
He shrugged. "You don't want to know. I heard that you are leaving to Casterly Rock today. Funny how your husband decides to run away with you in the middle of the night when he knew that I was in the Capital. Odd."
"No, what I think that's more funny is when you asked for my hand in marriage then ran off with another woman in broad daylight where I could see you...world's cruel way of saying that I was a foolish girl."
He had a slightly pained look on his face as he explained, "You were never foolish."
"Yes I was since I gave you everything blindly...you're worse than Tywin Lannister, Lucian. You are the reason why we're leaving this horrible place. please leave unless you're gonna tell me the real reason why you're here because I know that you're not here for me."
Lucian sighed. "I wouldn't lie to you. Lannister has done something to you-made you believe his lies!"
"I trust him more than anyone because he's proved to me that he's deserved my trust and love. You on the other hand…well, you're nothing to me, but a piece of meat held together by bones, blood, and lies."
"What's happened to you, Maya? What happened to-"
"Everything terrible you could ever imagine happened to me when you were gone. We've all changed and my house was burned to the ground just like the Targaryens. Sansa and I are the only Starks left. Did you expect me to act like a happy, dutiful wife with a smile on my face every time you saw me? I don't have the fight in me to pretend anymore, Lucian? Do you?"
"What's that supposed to me?"
"It means that I think you are even in Westeros right now because of Cersei or one of the small council members...am I wrong?"
"Of course. Gods be good, Maya, you're starting to sound paranoid."
"It seems that every corner I turn there is someone trying to murder me, every person that I trust seems to disappear, and every person that I love seems to be branded a traitor to the realm then be killed. You can see why I am a little paranoid right now especially if someone knew the effect you had on me back then thus thinking that bringing you back into my life with the hope of losing everything."
"I would never do anything to hurt you."
"Is that what you tell yourself at night when you're telling yourself to not feel guilty about betraying the woman you loved, leaving her all alone. If we were married then Jaime Lannister would have never been my husband and the father of my children."
"Children?"
"My daughter, Hope died a year ago...it seems like yesterday that I was rubbing my belly while Jaime whispered sweet things into my belly, hoping that she could here him. It almost tore us apart...losing our daughter I mean, Lucian. I didn't want to live after that because then my brother, my other half, my twin had died...taken by the Lannisters and betrayed by Walder Frey because he fell in love. Funny how people keep telling you that love is weakness yet...that never seems to be the case at all." Maya replied softly, feeling raw and vulnerable. "I blame you for a lot of things like the fact that I loved a man who I could never say it back to him. I hurt him and my family because I couldn't say three little words in fear of losing them and having them leave me all alone like you did to me."
"I am sorry for what happens and there is not a day that goes by that I don't regret everything that I've done to you. I've been having dreams about what life would be like as being your family."
"I'm glad because now I know who I really belong with and that is Lord Jaime Lannister, Heir to Casterly Rock and the great Kingslayer, former Lord Commander of the Kingsguard...it doesn't matter the titles he has because I love him and that is what love is and something that you may never understand, Lucian."
"Don't let the queen near your unborn child, Maya," he said urgently.
"Why? What's she planning?"
"She has her guards follow you; she has paid spies as well to keep an eye on you. Listen, Maya-"
Winter growled darkly when Lucian tried coming closer to her. Apparently there was a restricted distance between them that Maya was unaware of.
"My wolf has gotten attached to both my husband and protecting this child. He probably told her to keep me safe from you so I wouldn't take another step. Trust me when I say that she may have one eye, but the years have not made her kinder."
Winter came closer to him slowly and cautiously, baring her white teeth at him before snapping her sharp teeth at him.
"Leave," Maya commanded and continued to pack their things.
Once she heard the door close, she let out a sigh on relief and held her stomach in her hands. "Time to go home…finally."
A grunt behind her alerted her when something hard hit the back of her head causing her to fall forward, and black out.
Jaime felt as if he couldn't breathe right now, seeing as how he had just freed Tyrion from his cell. He knew that he and Maya had to make it out of the city immediately which meant tonight. He knew that he shouldn't have lied to Maya, but Tyrion was his brother and he couldn't risk her getting hurt if he was caught in the lie. Besides, he knew that if he told her then she would insist on helping him.
Tyrion's words weighed on him even more as he traveled back to their chambers. He hoped that his brother was safer and happier wherever he was going than he would ever have been in Westeros. Jaime unsheathed his sword quickly when he heard Maya scream, running into their chambers. He quickly stabbed the man in the back, shouting, "Who sent you?"
"The queen…she w-won't stop until the Stark bitch is d-dead," he grunted in pain as Jaime twisted his sword in the man's back, further hurting him.
Jaime didn't want to hear anymore as he took his sword out of his back, blood spilling out from the wound when he fell to the ground. Jaime then stuck his sword in the man's head, killing him immediately.
He picked up Maya in his arms, ordering the handmaidens to pack the rest of their things as they went into the carriage that was surrounded by Lannister guards.
"Don't let my sister or anyone else near this fucking carriage," he commanded then went into the carriage, placing her body on the cushioned seat.
He started to stroke her hair out of her face adoringly. He kissed her temple and once he heard them put their things in the carriage he then banged his fist on the wall, commanding, "Go."
The carriage started to ride forth to Casterly Rock as Jaime stared at The Red Keep when they rode away. He held Maya's body by his side tightly, protecting her from harm.
"I'm sorry, Rose."
