She was so beautiful, was Jaime's only thought as he stood in the Stone Garden of Casterly Rock. Silence encased itself around him with the sound of chirps from a bird broke the veil.

Her back was to him as he walked closer to her, thinking that it was his sister. He doesn't remember how long it had been since he'd dreamt of her since his dreams were always filled with Maya and their children; one dead and another still in the womb.

A crow cawed at him as he walked past a rose, suddenly there was no light in the garden anymore as the golden-haired woman turned around. Jaime stopped in his steps, almost wanting to retreat and run, but he didn't afraid that he'd lose her.

"Mother," he said quietly. "I am dreaming, aren't I?"

She gave him a warm smile that seemed to comfort him like always. "Does it matter, Jaime? I'm here now."

Jaime suddenly embraced his mother tightly into his arms, he heard her laugh as she spoke, "You're tall like your father. I'd always knew that you'd be tall."

"Have you seen him?"

"Not yet, but I will."

Jaime pulled away and asked, "How do you know?"

"I just know, my son."

"I miss you. Everyday."

His mother smiled at him and caressed his cheek gently, her fingers soft like he'd remembered when he was a boy.

"Will you forget him?"

"Who? Father?"

She nodded. "Have you forgotten him already like you have forgotten me, Jaime?"

"He was not the same man as he was when I was a boy. He was different."

"I know," she responded softly, lingering disappointment in her eyes. "I have so many regrets. One was that I was not there for Tyrion when he needed me. He grew up without me, he had already forgotten me."

"It is hard to remember someone you've never met."

"It hurts," she whispered. "Seeing what happened and what will, not being able to do a thing about it. I know what happened though. Tywin had a future in his mind whenever we talked, he dreamed of so many things for you three. You, my sweet Jaime was to be a powerful lord, your brother was to be a man of the mind and your sister a queen."

"We have indeed become that," Jaime replied.

His mother suddenly started to cry with tears of joy and then grasped his face in her hands. "When the night is dark, the winds become whispers, the river becomes still as a rock, and darkness runs over the sun, your enemies will return, Jaime. Stronger and more powerful than ever."

"Who?"

"Dragons. Wolves. Crows. Suns. All of them."

"How can I stop it?" He asked urgently as more crows started to fly into the garden, the flowers slowly rotting from stem to petal. "What about Maya? She's wolf, will she betray me as well?"

His mother chuckled in amusement. "If you stray too long, my lion, she will. She's powerful like the men in her family. If a Stark should fight, then you will fail."

"Are you talking about Maya? She would never do that to me. To our family." Jaime considered for a moment the possibility. "Tell me how she is powerful?"

"We have our Seven, they have their Old Gods."

"And?"

"And that Riverrun is valuable. That is all-"

Jaime glanced around when his mother suddenly stopped talking, seeing that they were now surrounded by crows, each one of them staring at him. Jaime could've sworn that he saw Ned Stark's eyes in the crowd of crows, judging him. Their hands held together tightly as the crows suddenly flew about them, creating a wall of black with streaks of rainbows in their feathers.

"No, don't-"

Jaime awoke in his tent with a loud gasp as he reached out to grasp Maya in his hand, but when he gasped the cold air, he remembered. She was gone. Left at Casterly Rock with their unborn child, awaiting his return.

Little wolf, have I strayed too long?

Winterfell, she thought glancing around the area. It's stone walls younger and everything looked a little less grim than she remembered it was. She watched as she saw children practicing archery. She didn't recognize them.

"Me and your Uncle Benjen," a voice said behind her.

Tears were in her eyes as she saw her father standing before her just as she remembered him to look like. She wrapped her arms around him immediately, smiling widely.

"You're here. Oh, I'm so sorry I left-"

"No, don't blame yourself, Maya," her father told her. "I thank the gods everyday that you left when you did or else you would have suffered like your sisters did at the hands of the Lannisters."

"So Arya is alive then?" Maya asked hopefully. "Where is she?"

"I can't tell you that," he spoke to her. "I'm only here for a short time and I need to tell this quickly."

"What is it, father?"

"There is a great evil among your family. Something is trying to break your family apart."

"Tell me."

"It will devour the Kingslayer if you let it. It told him a prophecy."

"Prophecy? What prophecy?"

"It prophesied that if a Stark should fight then he will fail." Her father explained, then looked up into the sky. "Your son is important, Maya. I have seen it."

Maya follows his eyes to see what it was that he was looking at, she froze as she saw the red comet soaring through the sky.

"The red star," her father whispered. "Remember that the winters are hard, but the Starks will endure. We always have."

Maya awoke with a pained gasp as she lifted the covers off of her, noticing that there was a wet patch between her legs. Maya started to scream in pain as she held her large stomach in her tiny hands, arching her back as she felt against the bed. She thought she smelled something sour like burning leaves.

She vaguely heard someone run into her bedchambers, yelling, "Call the midwives and tell them that Lady Lannister is giving birth!"

"The red star," she whispered aloud, her hands gripping the sheets tightly.

"Yes, my lady, there is a red comet outside right now."

Maya tried to control her breathing, but failed as she felt pain all around her. "AAAAAHHHHHHH!"

After almost ten hours of labor, Maya Stark finally gave birth to beautiful son. Crying and kicking as his wails filled the bedchamber. Maya wept with tears of joy when they placed his small body in her arms. She placed a gentle kiss on his forehead which made him stop crying immediately. His head was filled with soft black curls on the top of it, his eyes were the color of emeralds. Maya smiled down at him.

She frowned when she caught a scent in the air, thinking, is there smoke?

"What will you name him?" One of her handmaidens asked her.

Maya looked down at her son, wishing that Jaime was there with her to share this time with her. She caught the red comet outside the window as the scent of salt from the sea came as well as smoke before saying, "Leonardo Lannister."

"What does it mean?"

"Lion," Maya responded with a warm smile, her eyes tired, but still happy. "It means 'lion'."

"The Lion of Lannister."

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! You guys are just too awesome for me to say anything! But I do love all of your guys' thoughts.

One of the reasons why I took so long to update was because I would always be discouraged by the hurtful reviews. I am gonna try to not let them get to me, but it's hard because I tend to doubt my decisions. I hoped you liked baby Leonardo Lannister being born, but without Jaime.

Jaime is surrounded by enemies and there is something that the Tullys and Starks are hiding in Riverrun that Jaime wants. The dreams of Jaime and Maya, relate to the sense of their futures. Jaime knows that if a Stark fights him then he will fail like how he was beaten by Robb, remember?

I hope you guys really like how I am changing the prince that was promised prophecy. (I do believe that it could be Jon Snow, but for this story, I am not going to have to change some things)

I hoped you liked this chapter.
