Marinette woke up to smell of something burning. "Oh, no!" she said, tumbling out of bed. Not even changing out of her pajamas, she ran downstairs to the kitchen.

Hazy smoke filled the air, and she coughed. "Who's burning my kitchen?" she gasped. Cat turned around. "Cooking breakfast for my beautiful girlfriend." Just as he said it, his white chef's hat fell over one eye.

Mari struggled to hold the laughter in. "What were you trying to cook anyway?" "Pancakes." He pointed to a charred pile of something unrecognizable. Still, there was plenty of batter left in the bowl.

"Princess! Look out!" Cat tried to warn Mari, but then a pancake fell on her head. She looked at it, then at Cat, and started to laugh.

"Your such a sweet Kitty. But maybe I should help you," she said, wiping the tears of laughter from her eyes. "Hold on. I have just the aprons we can wear."

Mari ran upstairs and grabbed the two aprons she'd just finished designing. Hopefully soon she could put these designs on her clothing website.

"Here you go," Marinette said, handing Cat his apron. She tried to smother a laugh. "Pussy Magnet!" He stared at Marinette. "Naughty, naught Princess!" Slowly, to surprise her, he reached into the bag of… "Flour!" Cat yelled, and chucked it at Marinette.

Soon they were giggling and blowing flour at each other. "Mercy! I give up!" Mari said, as she hid under the kitchen table.

"Okay. But I'm still on guard. I'll clean up the mess while you make the pancakes," Cat asked. He held his hand for their signature fist bump. "Pound it?" "Pound it!"

Mari's heart felt lighter then the batter. She hummed as she made the little pancakes. Cat eyed her apron. "Pretty. So, you like Ladybugs?" He started playing with one of her pigtails. Mari picked up the spatula.

"Keep playing with my pigtails and I'll give you a whack," she said, waving it in the air. Cat's eyes gleamed. "Maybe you can help with the next akuma attack," Cat said, playfully.

"Yes, I'll use as a lucky charm." Cat stepped over to the stove and hugged Mari's waist. "I'll be a good kitty, I promise." He kissed the back of her neck. "You know your only saying that because you want food." She turned around and put her arms around his neck. Cat pretended to look hurt. "No. Kitty eyes won't work."

She played with his bell, and it made a soft tinkering sound. With her other hand, she turned off the stove. Mari traced his lip with her finger. "Do you know what you want more then food?" Yeah, she was flirting and she smirked to herself when she heard Cat's breath hitch.

"A kiss," she said. Putting her hands on his neck, Cat leaned down and kissed her. Her closeness was all he wanted, and she smelled good like syrup and pancakes. "Princess," he said, when he let go.

Cat made coffee, but soon began to blush. Mari was leaning against the counter watching him. She walked over to him, a little piece of pancake on her fork. "You want a little?" she whispered.

Their eyes met as Cat bit off little, his eyes locked on Marinette's. "I think your the naughty Kitty, Princess." Mari put a hand on his chest. "Oh yeah? Then I have should have the Miraculous," she teased.

"Hmm," Cat said, stroking Mari's face. "You with whiskers. I like this idea." he meowed happily. Mari rolled her eyes. "Let's eat the pancakes before they get cold."

Halfway through the meal, Mari relented. "Okay, I'll do it. You can draw whiskers on me. If," she tapped Cat's nose. "You wear a ladybug anneta," she said. "Your on." They shook hands.

"That tickles!" Marinette giggled. It was after breakfast, she was sitting in the bathroom squirming a little as Cat drew on her whiskers.

"Your perfect. A little MariNoir!" MariNoir. She loved the sound of that. Suddenly, she jumped. "Sneak attack!" she landed on Cat's chest. Her breathing was heavy, and he felt his face go red. Cuddling her in his arms he began to give her small fairy kisses along her neck.

"That nice?" he whispered. She held him tighter. "Don't stop." He chuckled softly, lightly nipping at her neck. They pulled back a little. "What would I do without you in my life?" Cat asked, stroking her cheek.

"Your on my mind, 365," Mari said, happy and safe in his lap. This is were he wanted to be, right here with Mari.

"Cat?" she murmured his he stroked her hair. "Hm?" "I don't have ladybug attena. I'm sorry." "Its alright, Princess."

She played with his finger, the one with his ring that held his Miraculous. "Do I ever get to find out who you are?" she traced her hand along the his mask line. "Its a riddle, Princess. But you do know me without the mask."

She ponder that for awhile. "I love being with you. We have so much fun together." She kissed him. " I even like your cat puns."

She likes my jokes! "Just don't get a big head about it." Cat mimicked his head getting bigger. "Very funny. Just kiss me." "My, my. So sassy, are you sure your not Ladybug?" he growled, and his hands roamed up and down Mari's back, resting on her butt.

"Even I have secrets, my handsome pussy." "We've been over this! I'm not a pussy!" Mari tapped her finger to her chin, grinning. "Yeah. More like a lion, especially when you snore-" she was cut off as Cat started tickling her.

He's the best friend I was always looking for, Mari thought. "Yeah, but you talk about buttons in your sleep," Cat playfully shot back.

"I'm just so dedicated to my work." "Well, would you rather me meow in my sleep?" Mari snorted with laughter. "I like to see that, actually." "Oh, I think that can be arranged."

Cat picked Mari up, and led her to the couch, as he walked his heart got lighter with every step.
