A/N: IMPORTANT PLEASE READ.

In light of our girl Anna Kendrick opening up about her experience with emotional abuse, I have needed to take a break from this story. Its one thing to write about a character going through something like that, but when the person who portrays your character goes through it it's a bit different. So, this story will be completed, but I will be changing the course of the story. Also I know my chapters aren't very long and people want longer ones, but I stop writing when I feel the chapter is complete.

1 month and two weeks later

Beca smiled widely and waved at the woman approaching her.

Chloe was officially home. She hurried through the crowd of people and instantly lifted Beca into a tight hug.

"Hey, now, put me down." She laughed as she was set back on her feet. Chloe laughed as she did and stepped back.

"I couldn't help it I'm so happy to be back!"

Beca matched her smile and pointed at the luggage area. "You have any suit cases?"

She nodded. "Yeah, just one, I shipped the rest of my stuff it should be here tomorrow." She said as she and Beca made their way towards baggage claim.

"I wish Bree could have come." Chloe pouted as they reached it and looked for Chloe's suit case.

Beca nodded. "She wanted to be here but she is working on a big case. She's been in the office nearly everyday for the last two weeks." She spoke.

"Oh, there it is." Chloe said stepping forward and grabbing her suitcase.

"All set?" Beca asked as Chloe heaved the large suitcase off of the conveyor belt. She smiled and nodded as they headed for the exit.

"Well, it's a good thing she loves her job." Chloe said holding the door open for Beca as they left the airport.

Beca chuckled, though Chloe didn't detect any actual humor in it. "She sure does." The younger woman said.

Chloe thought back to what she overheard a month prior and bit her lips together to keep from outright asking Beca if what she heard was right. She looked good. Chloe couldn't see anything on her that would point to abuse. Her eyes were bright, and she seemed happy enough. She even looked like she may have gained a little weight.

Maybe she had heard wrong.

That night, Beca was standing at the stove, cooking dinner while Chloe took a shower. She would be staying the night with them, and then heading to her new apartment the next day to meet the moving company.

The garage door opened as she was flipping the chicken she was making and she looked over to see Aubrey walking in.

She smiled lightly before turning her attention back to the food. "You're early, love." She said and stepped away from the stove to give Aubrey a kiss.

Aubrey returned it as well as a soft smile. "I left early today, I didn't want to miss dinner with you and Chloe." She said, setting her briefcase down on the counter. "I hope that is okay."

Beca nodded returning to the stove. "Of course. She is just taking a shower, and dinner should be ready in the next few minutes."

"Perfect, I will go change." Aubrey said. "How are you feeling today?"

"I was a little sick this morning but it passed." She said, her hand instinctively falling to rest on her still flat stomach.

The moment the blood test confirmed Beca's pregnancy, Aubrey did a complete one-eighty. She was the Aubrey that Beca had married. She was loving, and kind. She hadn't raised a hand to her in anger once. It took a couple of weeks for Beca to stop flinching every time she moved toward her, but Aubrey didn't hold it against her. Just comforted her. Even John had treated her better. He was interested in hearing about her work. He didn't mention anything about how it would all change when she gave birth. How she wouldn't be able to go into the label.

She was due for her first scan in two days, she and Aubrey were going to surprise Chloe with the news. John wanted to be at the appointment but Aubrey was able to convince him that she and Beca wanted to go to the first scan alone.

She was just making Aubrey's plate when she heard a squeal from upstairs and she knew that Chloe was out of the shower and had seen Aubrey. Not wanting to interrupt their moment, she made Chloe's plate, then her own and set them at the table.

A few minutes later, the two walked in, all smiles.

"I see you found her." She smiled and pulled out Aubrey's chair as the blonde walked over.

"Yes, I did."

Chloe took her seat, unfolding her napkin as she eyed the food excitedly. "This looks amazing Beca thank you."

Aubrey smiled at her wife and reached over, tugging gently on her earlobe. "Beca has become quite the cook." She said fondly. Beca smiled reaching up and taking her hand, kissing her palm.

"Thank you love. "

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Chloe watched as they doted on each other, exchanged smiles and loving touches. She could almost believe she had misheard Beca that night. She hadn't though. She knew what she heard. She would continue to watch, and she fully intended on speaking up if she saw something.

"I hope it's a girl."

Beca ran her fingers through Aubrey's hair as the older woman laid on her side, cuddled into her, rubbing her hand over her belly.

"I just hope its healthy." Beca said. Then carefully, she asked, "Will you be okay if it's a boy?"

Aubrey sat up so she could see her. "Of course. A boy would please my father. Someone to carry on the family name. But, a girl, with your eyes and smile? That's what I want." She said softly.

Beca smiled as she laid back down.

"Thank you, Aubrey."

She looked back up at her. "For what, love?"

She was quiet for a second, and let her hand continue to run through Aubrey's hair. "For…stopping."

She felt Aubrey tense and in turn she tensed as well. Worry filling her.

"I'm sorry I ever started." She spoke. "I promise it'll never happen again."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Beca laid back on the bed, her shirt pulled up as the ultrasound technician covered her belly in gel. Aubrey was seated next to her, her hand held firmly in Becas. Soon enough they were looking at the fuzzy black and white screen, waiting to see their baby appear.

"And, there is your…" The technician started but her voice trailed off and Beca looked from the screen to her.

"What's wrong? Is there something wrong with our baby?" Aubrey asked and the lady looked from the screen to Beca and Aubrey.

"Congratulations. You're having twins."

Beca sat in the passenger seat, the ultrasound in her hands. She looked down to see the two little cherry sized babies. In separate amniotic sacks. Fraternal twins. They didn't know the genders yet. That would be at the next scan in a month.

Aubrey seemed to bounce back from her shock rather quickly and had texted Chloe to let her know they were on their way over. Beca however, was having an internal panic attack. She wasn't ready for one baby let alone two. Now? She didn't have a choice.
