A massive transparent dome surrounded the Brothers of Light and Dark as they are strapped to a giant table and forced to watch their past crimes of erasing humanity off the face of Remnant after showing how they cursed two innocent mortals that just wanted to live happy and loving lives. An alien judge stood on a hovering platform.

"Brothers of Light and Dark you have both caused nothing but misery and destruction to the people of a primitive world, even going so far as to curse two lovers, yet you both show no remorse."

"Our only remorse is that we could not do it again." Dark answered back before he and Light transformed into dragons and broke through the dome.

Giant robots were on standby in such a thing was to happen but the droids are nowhere near strong enough to stand a chance as they are both thrown into the wall behind the Judge.

"I herby sentence you to be imprisoned for eternity with lowest scum of the universe."

"Imbeciles! No prison can hold us!" Light jeered cockily.

"This one can." Judge replied aiming a cartridge at the two before activating it. A stream of green light shot out converting the magical beings to data to forever be stored in the cartridge.

"We shall return!" Light shouted being the first disappear.

"We will avenge ourselves!"

Judge inserted the cartridge into a computer with icons of the Brothers appearing alongside 20 others.

"You two are gods no more."

Present: Jersey

Jaune is digging through a box of old game cartridges when he spots a familiar one.

"Aw, cool. I never played this one."

Vale

Ozpin watched the video of Atlas' new machine fighting off alien invaders on Qrow's scroll. Especially when MRGAS began to power up with the 'Glyph Weapons Array'.

"Qrow, How sure are you about the origin of these… what did you call them?"

"Aliens and if I wasn't sober that day, I would have said it was a publicity stunt. Oz, if aliens are real what does that say about the two brothers and your curse?"

Ozpin answered as he shut down the video.

"I don't know Qrow but maybe the team that defended the planet will have answers." Ozpin began making preparations to Jersey.

Jaune was about to pay for his game when a voice behind him spoke up.

"That? It's a waste of time, it doesn't fit into any console." Turning around Jaune and Bleiss spied a guy in an orange shirt and a head of purple hair and wearing tapped together glasses.

"Doesn't fit, huh? I got a way with these things." Jaune joked looking at Bleiss and making HER blush for a change. The guy scoffed missing Jaune's joke.

"If I can't get a video to work, there's no way you can."

"I think I know just little bit more about video games than just about anyone on this planet." Jaune paused and really thought about his statement. "Or any planet."

"Do not."

"Do too. I played games you never even heard of."

"Skeleton Racer."

"High-score champ."

"Phlegm Factory-5?"

"Imported domestic edition!"

"Demolition Derby Dunces?"

"Played it just this morning."

"Love Those Lerps-7?" Jaune was not ready for that title drop.

"Those cheesy little orange elves from that pre-school show? No, but I played Pumpkin Pete Madness."

"Ha, in your face. I win." The guy gloated before Bleiss cut through his pride

"Yeah. You just won the '4ever A Virgin' title."

Jaune and his crew are now on their way back to Jaune's mother's house.

"Just a buck for the only video game I never played. Rock-On!" Jaune couldn't believe his luck, maybe has spending to much time around Clover. Getting closer to his house they all could see a man standing outside the garage wearing a green suit. Winter looked nervous as she identified the man for the other two.

"What is Headmaster Ozpin doing here?" She asked aloud as she sent a message to the General.

Now the four sat in the basement as Jaune fished out any and all cartridge consoles with the help of Bleiss and ignored Winter and Ozpin as they went through trial and error.

"It is kind of you to make an appearance Ozpin. To what do we owe the honor?"

"I'm here to get to the bottom of this." Ozpin explained revealing his scroll playing the fight between the Glorft and MRGAS.

"The MRGAS unit, a recent addition to the Atlas Military."

Jaune had just about given up on playing his game when he spotted the 8-track 3 station sitting in the corner. Getting an idea he quickly set it up, pushing the game in the tv came to life. Jaune and Bleiss shared a fist bump then threw up the rock hands.

"Sweet, A fighting game. Let's see I choose…" Jaune was going through the icons hovering over one of the icon spoke. "The scariest most dangerous guy."

"You will rue the day you met 'The Brother of Darkness'." Garnering a mocking tone from Jaune. Ozpin snapped his attention to the screen when he heard the name.

"Who talks like that? I'm gonna beat you down just for talking all weird." Jaune hit a button to start the game but nothing happened aside from the icon disappearing. Outside a green ray of light is materializing The Brother of Darkness.

"Firm solid ground beneath me once more. I think I'll destroy it." Dark summoned a ball of energy only for it to fissile out. "They think their Inter-dimensional prison can deplete my power? Not for long."

Dark stomped down on an old broken car sitting in Jaune's yard. Jaune threw his basement door open to see what happened after the impact tremor only to see a giant purple thing with ram horns grind it heel into the car.

"Hey pal! I was gonna fix that!"

Dark paid little mind to the human as he walked away to destroy more. Jaune wasted no time activating MRGAS and grabbing the arm of Dark. Alarms for evacuation sounded in the background as Jaune threw the first punch sending Dark through a conveniently empty building.

Winter had grabbed a tech scanner sent by Magnanimous last week and began a diagnostic on the cartridge with Ozpin frozen in fear watching as Dark rose back to his feet easily shaking off the hit.

Grimmlands

Salem could feel the all to familiar power of the Dark God. She smiled to herself thinking Ozpin had finally given up. Summoning a seer, Salem tuned the creature to where she can feel the dark power emanating.

Salem stared in awe as a giant blue warrior was thrown into a building by Dark.

"Are you to be Remnants new champion?" Salem asked to herself as she summoned for both Watts and Cinder.

"You are a very amusing human." Dark gloated standing over Mrgas. "I should thank you for releasing me."

"Don't mention it." Jaune replied

Dark kicked Mrgas into another group of buildings. "Instead I shall destroy you."

Mrgas was quicker getting to it's feet before Jaune collided heads with Dark, both locking each other's hands in place. Winter popped up over the comm-link.

"Jaune your precious game, is actually some kind of prison containment unit for intergalactic criminals, and you let one out!" Winter explained as Jaune shifted into a headlock.

"Yeah I figured that much." Jaune replied

"I'm trying to devise a way to return him to the cartridge."

"Don't go messing up any of my games, okay." before a tail that Dark just grew tripped him sending crashing into an empty street. "Then again if you really want to you can put them back later."

MRGAS stood tall before firing two misses that Dark detonated by punching them. Dark actually felt slight amounts of pain.

"For so long only my brother has been my only adversary. It's such a shame you will be vaporized."

"Why couldn't you talk like that when you were in the game?" Jaune asked picking up his controller.

MRGAS began to breakdance confusing Dark, as he has never seen something move like that, he dropped his guard allowing Jaune to deliver a powerful kick to his chin.

"Almost ready over here." Winter informed.

"No prob. I got this guy on the ropes now." Jaune gloated not seeing Dark charge in with a haymaker. MRGAS was knocked down the street but Jaune kept it on it's feet as he activated one of the weapons.

MRGAS arms came together before his fists retracted and fired an energy beam that hit dark in his chest before a dark purple cocoon encased the god. Trapping him.

Later

Criminal. that word stuck with Ozpin as he remembered what happened to both he and his wife. The lack of empathy both gods displayed when cursing them both. Salem, for her rebellion and he for no other reason than loving his wife. Now given a task to unite humanity or perish by the Light God and now here he stood in a basement to find those same gods had been imprisoned for what they had done. His task nothing but a get out of jail free card to the gods that plagued his every thought.

Now he sat in the backseat with the older Schnee as she hooked up the console to Mrgas. OZMA! A voice shouted forcing Ozpin to flinch. That was the voice of the God of Light.

Free me Ozma and I will lift the curse I placed on both you and Salem. Light commanded taking control of Ozpin's body. Ozpin lurched forward before hitting random buttons.

"Back off!" Jaune yelled as he and Bleiss tried wrestle him away from the controls. After hitting a few more buttons the icon representing the Brother of Light disappeared. Mrgas headlights glowed an unnatural green before Light materialized. He wasted little time delivering a punch to Mrgas before continuing where his brother left off.

Jaune grabbed Ozpin by the back the neck before slamming his face into the pommel of Crocea Mors. Throwing Ozpin's unconscious form back into his seat Jaune shifted gears to 'Smash' and flying off. Never noticing the cocoon rip open.

"One planet killer just wasn't enough was it Ozpin?"

Light hovered over Mrgas' head as Jaune readied the flight system. Mrgas lept into the air before grabbing Light's leg and pulling him down to be slammed repeatedly before being thrown away.

Light came back as a two headed bipedal dragon. Bitting and slashing at Mrgas until the robot wrapped a hand around either neck.

"I feel I need to separate you two for the roughhousing." Jaune quipped pulling Light apart in an excruciating way. Salem flinched with a smile knowing from experience that last move hurts quite a bit. As she and Cinder watched the dark god sneak up on the blue warrior with a building in hand.

Mrgas illuminated blinding aura that distracted Dark long enough for Jaune to take building out of his hand and using it himself and breaking it over Darks back.

Light once again transformed into a giant turtle with tusks and a tail. Jaune tried a combo of punches, Light had made himself deceptively nimble as evidence as he dodged before lashing out with the tail. Jaune got Mrgas to its feet again as he fired off two missiles that missed and knocked over a large antenna. Mrgas grabbed the falling antenna before stabbing it into Light's chest pinning him to the ground.

Dark used what little magic he could to turn himself invisible and attacking Mrgas from behind. Mrgas tried to defend itself swinging wildly at the air trying to find the Dark god but to know avail as Dark unleashed an unseen combo knocking Mrgas down once again. Jaune grew frustrated as he got back up and pushed buttons releasing every missile from their housing to streak across the sky. Three missiles hit Dark bringing him back to visibility as he hit the ground.

As he began to rise Dark felt Mrgas grab one of his arms before throwing him into power lines that bounced him back into a double drop kick from Mrgas. On the ground dark peaked his eyes open seeing Mrgas climb to the top of a skyscraper before jumping off with and elbow hitting the gods chest.

Mrgas turned to Light as they both stood, Jaune floored the pedal while pulling back a lever releasing an axe on Mrgas arm, the blade slashed into Light's neck with Mrgas clotheslining the god. Light felt his body forced into a backflip before he hit the ground.

Jaune picked up Dark once more before throwing him onto his brother, both gods felt so weak using their limited power to fight that neither one could get to their feet. Dark from his beating and Light from the would have been fatal attacks.

Mrgas stood over the defeated brothers.

"The containment unit is ready." Winter was about to activate the device when Jaune stopped her pulling a different cartridge from his pocket. A guilty pleasure game that he will never admit to playing.

"I don't think that cartridge is safe enough if hitting a single button can release these guy's. Try this one."

Later

Ozpin held his head in pain as he began to wake up. What happened? All he could remember was sitting down in the backseat of a car… and then nothing else. Three voices caught his attention as they laughed. Focusing Ozpin could now see Jaune and the Schnee sisters playing a video game in front of him. He was surprised to see The Brother Gods standing on either side of the screen banging their fists on the fourth wall as little orange elves offered them flowers.

"I lerp you."

"We demand to be put back in our maximum security prisons!" Light exclaimed as his brother began to destroy the long line of Lerps.

Omake

Ozpin now stood before Salem with nothing more than his cane and a game console in hand.

"Ozpin. To what do I owe the displeasure?" Salem greeted stiffly as Tyrian poised to strike the Headmaster and no Hazel in sight.

"Salem. I feel it's time we switch to a different game with different rules." Ozpin said cryptically setting up a holo-screen to the console. What Salem saw next brought a genuine smile to her face. Is smiling supposed to hurt this much?

The Brother Gods seemed to weep and bash their heads into the ground as more and more Lerps spawned with flowers.

"We lerp you!" They all exclaimed as they hugged the Gods, screaming in horror and anguish the two just cried and complained about their immortality and how the nightmare will never end.
