Basically, Eris gets a plan. What, did you think she was going to be a good guy? Hell no. Actually, would you believe me if I told you that even I don't know what she's planning? Because I actually don't.

Eris trekked up the mountain, half trying to get there, half trying to delay her eventual arrival. She brushed a strand of her black hair out of her eyes, and wondered once again why she had decided to go the mortal way. Then she remembered where she was actually going. Why did she think this to be a good idea? Oh, right, she needed to know how to proceed. Eris couldn't believe that she needed Apollo's help of ALL THINGS!

Alas, Eris wasn't sure exactly who to trust and only the prophecy gods were sworn to secrecy. Hestia too, but that particular goddess wouldn't be able to truly help the goddess of strife.

"Isn't he still at the party anyways?" She muttered to herself.

Apollo never left the parties early, but he always seemed to follow Eris everywhere. It was rather annoying. Still, it would benefit Eris if he was here now.

She spoke about that particular issue now. "For that matter, why isn't he here now? Everywhere I go, Apollo seems to follow…"

"Hey cuz!" The brat in question exclaimed cheerfully, appearing in a flash of golden light. Despite her reason for coming here, Eris looked up with a glare. Okay, so maybe she wished he WASN'T here.

"Control yourself, Apollo. Besides that, I am older than you, and we are NOT cousins." Eris growled in annoyance.

"Chill lady!" Apollo answered, holding his hands up in surrender. He knew exactly how to infuriate a goddess, which Eris would have to think on later. For now, she was too busy feeling infuriated.

"I will not chill, I am senior to you!" Eris snapped. It didn't make sense that she was reacting this way, but it gave her the confidence to get the job done. "Can you provide what I need, or should I take my business to Prometheus?"

"I… uh… that's not necessary!" Apollo exclaimed quickly. "Everyone knows that he's not exactly a prophecy god!"

Eris raised an eyebrow. "O' Wise Oracle, I have a question."

Apollo shrugged like 'what can you do' and summoned a notepad out of thin air. "Ask away."

Eris rolled her eyes, but did. "How do I figure out Aphrodite's motives?"

In response to her question, green mist started billowing around them, sourced in the cave of Python.

Apollo started chanting, speaking lines of prophecy, and Eris listened.

'By doubt you will collect the quest,

Travel far and take a rest,

But be warned for if you watch not close,

Your dearest will be lost to the Rose.'

Eris started clapping slowly. "That TOTALLY answered my question! THANK YOU." Yeah, she literally invented sarcasm! Dionysus said that he did, but really, it was all Eris. "Wow. If I weren't me, I would be concerned. As it is, my dearest is the apple…" She cut herself off. Apollo did not need to know.

"I already know." He grumbled. "And honestly, wasn't it a bit much?"

"Ummm… what?" Eris asked, raising an eyebrow cautiously.

"Stupid prophecy domain!" Apollo hit his forehead with his wrist. "I never can tell if it's happened or not. I guess that it hasn't." He teleported away, somehow completely forgetting about Eris' payment.

"Hmmm…" Eris smirked. She had an idea.

Good think oracles could never see their own futures.
