…Family Vacation…

We took a group photo once uncle Remus and auntie Tonks arrived. We took a bus to the hotel we were staying at. The adults had a few rules and notices they wanted to say before we went up to our rooms.

"You all looked at the travel journal and know that this is a trip similar to a backpacking one. China is our first stop and then we'll go to Thailand, Australia, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. I expect you all to be on your best behavior.", she stated looking at Ava, Fred and George, and me.

The adults handed out the room keys. I was staying with Angelina, Izzy, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna. We took our things up to the room.

The view from our balcony was gorgeous and we could see much of the city below. I took out my camera and took a photo. The other girls were exploring the suite.

I put my hair into a ponytail and started exploring the room. We joined the others for lunch. Afterwards everyone broke off into different groups to explore the city.

I went with Blaise, Ron and Hermione, Draco and Astoria, and Harry and Ginny. There was so much to see and do. Astoria, Hermione, and I tried desperately to get the others to try some local delicacies, but they couldn't manage it.

We tried a bunch of street food as we walked around the city. A time or two Draco and Harry had to steer Astoria and Ginny from a store that they wanted to go in. We went to a local restaurant for dinner. I ordered for everyone.

"When did you have time to learn a new language?" Ginny asked dumbfounded. "If I put my mind to it, I can learn anything. Besides your forgetting all those trips I used to take when we were younger. I'd visit Akio and his family. I know just enough to get by." I respond as the first dish was brought out.

After dinner we went back to the hotel. Everyone else was already back. We went to bed.

We spent the next two days trying as much of the food as we could. Before we had to catch the plane to Thailand, we visited the Great Wall.

We landed in Thailand in the afternoon. We ate a late lunch and headed to the hotel. "I'm going to be so tired when this trip ends!" exclaimed Angelina happily. Ginny threw a pillow at her. Angelina laughed as she sat up.

I ducked out of the room as a pillow fight ensued. I went into Ava and Izzy's room that they were sharing with Luna, Aithley, Aderyn, and Adaya.

They looked at me in confusion. "Pillow fight." I say pointing in the direction of my room. "Why?" Adaya asked. "Just because. Those girls have to much strength from sports for a weaker girl like me to even consider staying put. I know my limits." I answer sitting on a desk.

We talked a bit about their plans for the 4 days we'd be in Thailand. They seemed to be going to a lot of historical places. "What's your group going to do?", Aderyn asked as she peeked out into the hall. "You know everyone in my group loves food. Was that mum and Mrs. Weasley that just passed by?" I looked towards the door.

Seconds later we heard them scolding the others for making a racket. We burst out laughing. We went down to dinner and returned to bed.

My group woke early the next morning. "Why am I out of bed so early?!" Ron complained. Ron, Harry, and Draco looked like they were still asleep. Astoria and Hermione huffed impatiently. "This place serves breakfast really early. It's too good to miss." Astoria explains as we walked down the street.

She was not wrong. There was already a line, but the food we ate was more than worth the wait in line. Full of an amazing breakfast we explored the city. We spent the day at a market eating from the different vendors and looking at the various items for sale.

We continued to wake early as not to miss anything the city had to offer. On the final night we went to see the night view. We sat and watched the city lights below. We made it back to hotel in time to get our bags before we went to the airport.

When we got to Australia everyone slept the first day away. When I woke up the adults were already gone. There was a note on door: LEFT TO EXPLORE THE CITY. DON'T WAIT UP!

I showed it to the others once they woke up. "They're faster than I give them credit for." Draco mumbles. I scoff "They've been doing this since they were 13." Astoria laughs and begins pushing us out of the hotel so we could eat.

We spent our time in Australia traveling up and down the coast. I was walking with the girls. We were planning. "Do you really think they'll eat them?" Astoria pointed at the bag I was holding. "Ron won't ask any questions. The only two we'll have to convince are Draco and Blaise." Hermione responds looking ahead of us.

The boys hadn't realized we were so far back. We sped up and I held out the bag. "We bring treats!" I cheer. They turned around. It took a while to convince them to try the treats, but they gave in. We watched as the tried them.

Their reactions were immediate. "What the hell was that?" Harry chokes out. "It was just a squid ink, vegemite, and sea water popsicle we made this morning." Ginny smiles innocently. Blaise gives me a look. "This one wasn't even my idea!" I protest the look pointing at Astoria and Hermione.

After that they kept a closer eye on us. We couldn't even pretend to be sorry. Whenever we would look at them, we start laughing. Harry, Draco, and Blaise weren't as bad because they hadn't eaten that much but Ron's mouth was black.

At the hotel, the adults were confused to see us laughing. I pointed Mrs. Weasley at Ron. The others were just coming down for dinner. Ron opened his mouth and everyone even passing guest and staff broke into laughter.

"Charlotte that's not nice." auntie Madalyn said between fits of laughter. I shake my head and point at Hermione and Astoria. Hermione looked embarrassed and Astoria looked proud. "Squid ink, Vegemite, and sea water popsicles!" she chuckles.

Fred and George high-five them as shivers ran through my family. We went to dinner and as everyone finished, they went up to bed. I went up to bed following Draco, Harry, and Ron who were still upset by the prank. Ginny, Hermione, and Astoria were still trying to apologize but failing spectacularly.

Blaise shakes his head sadly and scoffs. "You guys can't even apologize. Shame. You know we could prank you back." he states. My head was on his shoulder as we followed the others. "You could try but it wouldn't be as successful." I counter. As we got to our respective doors, I pull out a vial. I toss it to the boys. "It'll help get rid of the damage from popsicles." I wave as I close our door.

"I think that prank went well." Ginny sighs with satisfaction. "I think you two fit into the family very well." I tell Astoria and Hermione. We stayed up talking about what pranks they might try and other pranks we could pull on them.

We'd just landed in Los Angeles. The adults were standing to the side discussing something. The boys hadn't tried any revenge pranks yet. The bus we were taking to the hotel pulled up before I could start questioning them.

I sat by Blaise and began poking him. "I'm not telling you anything." he whispers before I could open my mouth. He grins at me. I lean closer. "Why not?" I ask. He tsks. The bus pulled in front of the new hotel and Alexis and Anna squealed. I looked and my mouth fell open. We were staying at Disneyland. I began pinching myself. Blaise smacks my hand. "Stop pinching yourself. It's real." he mumbles. I wasn't the only one pinching themselves though.

We hopped off the bus. I was bouncing up and down with my friends. We went up to our rooms as soon as we got the room keys. It was gorgeous and decorated in true Disney fashion. I fling myself onto a bed.

"This is what heaven feels like." I murmur curling up on the bed. I hear murmurs of agreement. We went down to dinner emerging from the room reluctantly. We weren't the only ones. According to uncle Elijiah, dad had to actually pick mum up so that she left the bed.

After dinner I was too tired to walk. Blaise gave me a piggyback ride up to my room. "You should pace yourself for the rest of the trip." he said as he walked. I hit his shoulder "Where is the fun in that?!" I hear him sigh in mock exasperation. "Thank you for planning such a lovely trip." I whisper in his ear. He stops outside my room and I hand him the key. He opens the door and point to my bed. He puts me on my bed.

"I'll see you in the morning." he whispers kissing my forehead before leaving the room. I hear the door click closed and I fell asleep.

I was shaken awake the next morning by Ginny. I got up and got ready for the day. "Were you able to get any information about their prank?" Ginny asked as I combed my hair. I roll my eyes in answer. Luna was walking in the room and scoffed. "I don't think Blaise will tell her." she laughed as she sits on the bathroom counter. I nod. "Why not?" Ginny asks in confusion.

"He always knows my train of thought before I can ever try, do, or say anything." I explain as finished doing my hair. "The easiest target would be Ron. Hermione's working on that right now." I say smiling. Hermione and Ron had left earlier to walk around the city a bit while they waited on breakfast.

Hermione returned with doughnuts and handed them out. "No luck." she mutters. I sigh as I bite into a doughnut. "You'd think that Blaise and Draco were training Harry and Ron to resist our questioning." Astoria grabbed another doughnut. My eyes go wide.

Her words sunk in. "I think we may need to switch to defense.", I gulp, "As well as I know Blaise this could get bad." They nod. We finished the doughnuts.

We spent the day going on different rides. The boys let not one bit of information slip. I waited with Blaise while the others finished the haunted house. I played with his hands. The haunted house had been fun, but I was worried about the others. Just then a screaming Ron, Astoria, and Neville exploded from the exit taking off in different directions.

We watched in shock as the others chased after them. "Honestly, it's not like facing a boggart." I mutter. I stood up and Blaise followed. "How about a snack?" he asks. He went over to a vendor and brought back a brownie sundae. I took it and ate it. I look at him. The sundae had glued my mouth shut. He laughs as I chase him around the park. We caught up with the rest and went to lunch.

Blaise was still laughing. "What happened?", mum asked as she caught sight of us. The others began explaining about the haunted house. Mum pointed to me. I spoke the best I could with my mouth stuck shut. Everyone looked at me in amusement. I pointed at Blaise and began miming the incident.

The guys were high-fiving and laughing. Blaise said something and mouth finally unstuck. "Not funny!" I gasp. "Wow, I never thought of using wandless magic to prank Fae." dad muttered. He high-fives Blaise with a laugh.

After lunch we went to explore California. Blaise kept poking me and trying to get me to laugh. We were hiking up to the Hollywood sign. The others were far ahead. "Come on. You have to admit that was pretty good for a small prank." he nudged me. I did but only to myself.

I gave in after another 10 minutes and smiled. He threw an arm around my shoulder as we walked. We discussed the prank. They'd decided it was best to separate us instead of pranking us all together. I poked him in his ribs. "That was well thought out." I mumble.

We finally reached the others. I took out my camera and begun to take photos. I took photos of the others as they posed. We had a good time taking pictures in funny poses as the sunset.

We headed back down the trail. Blaise held my hand as we walked. We followed the others to a restaurant that was nearby. We ate as we talked about what we were going to do the next day.

I was dressed and ready to go the next morning. I waited in the lobby of the hotel for the others. Blaise joined me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. "The others are late." I mutter. Blaise chuckles. I sit up. The other boys rushed into the lobby and out the front doors. Minutes later they were followed by the girls.

I put my hands in my face. "Ah, the prank went well." Blaise rose from his seat. I hold his hand as we followed the others. Draco had put red dye in Astoria's toothpaste. Ron had glued Hermione to her bed. Harry had put black dye in Ginny's shampoo. "The game is officially in motion." I tell Blaise. He winks at me.

We went to the mall. The boys had taken off, so we went to a clothing store. I watched as they tried on different clothes. I bought a couple shirts, jeans, and skirts. We went to the hair salon to get Ginny's hair fixed. Hermione got hers washed. Astoria and I waited patiently.

We went to get our nails done next. By the time we were done pampering ourselves the boys had finally found us. We went to lunch and then back to the hotel. We put our things away and went on some of the rides before dinner.

We only had one day left. We went to the Golden Gate Bridge. I took more photos. We made our way across to the bridge taking in the sights. We visited the Redwoods after lunch. I kept looking up at the trees.

"Your neck is going to hurt later." Ginny warns me. "It'd be worth it." I smile. I see her shake her head, but I point at Luna and Astoria who were doing the same.

We enjoyed our last night in the park watching the fireworks. This place was magical beyond belief.

At 3 in the morning we were woken by parents telling us to get ready to go to the airport. I was sure that we must've looked like zombies from the looks we received at the airport. On the plane I fall asleep before takeoff.

I woke up once the plane landed. We got off and were given leis. We took a group photo and headed to the hotel. I put my things down and rushed to the balcony.

I changed and went to lunch with the girls. We had a nice lunch at a seafood place. We talked about our vacation thus far picking off each other's plates. We walked around to different stores and took photos when we found the perfect picture spots.

When we returned to the hotel that night around 11 and found the boys were waiting outside our rooms. I slide behind a wall and Ginny and Luna copied me.

"Where'd you guys disappear to with no note?" I hear Ron start. There was an immediate rush to explain and I hear people walking off. "I'll give you to the count of 5 to stop hiding behind that wall Charlotte." Blaise growls. I hurry out from my hiding spot and immediately regretted it seeing the angry look on his face. I hear Ginny and Luna take off in the opposite direction followed closely by Harry and Neville.

I take a nervous breath "I guess we forgot to leave a note." I laughed awkwardly. He didn't move or say anything. I look down. "I'm sorry." I whisper. I play with my hands. He strides towards me and hugs me. "Never again." he mumbles and I nod. "I hope you guys had a nice day because based on how mad the others are, I don't think you'll be allowed out of our sights." he says with a chuckle. "I'm sorry." I repeat.

True to his word we were not let out of their sights. We were on a hiking trail at 5 in the morning as punishment. Blaise and Draco thought that this was great fun. I was panting heavily. "Can't we take a break?" Izzy asks. Ava, Luna, Izzy, and I were using each other as walking crutches.

They looked back at us. Hermione was propped against a tree with Angelina and Ginny. Astoria sat on the trail the moment the boys stopped walking.

They kept walking and we groaned. We started walking again. We finish the hike. I collapse on the ground my legs feeling like jelly. The other girls had collapsed on trees, rocks, or the ground.

Blaise handed me a water bottle. I took it gratefully. Once I was rehydrated and had caught my breath I looked around. We were deep in the forest. There was a sign that pointed to another trail.

After the break we started the trail that I saw. "This is hell!" I state climbing over a rock. Blaise smiles slyly. The trail we were now on was longer than the previous one. "For someone who thinks the women in my family are dangerous you don't seem to be that worried about the reaction this punishment will have." I mutter at his back. He turns around and gives me a look that I avoid.

The sun was high in the sky by the time we finished the trail. "You finally made it." dad calls. He was with my aunts and uncles. Mrs. Zabini and the other women were in the same state as us. "What a perfect punishment idea for them leaving with no note. Worked for all of them." uncle Remus snickers as he watched us. Of course, it was a group effort.

I sit on a rock and flip off Blaise's back when no one was looking. They went off and started speaking to a local who had just appeared. "I shall have revenge!" mum growls as they walked off.

They came back after 20 minutes. They motioned for us to follow. Blaise was laughing with dad. What else had they planned. We followed them through the foliage. We entered a clearing that had a wooden fortress in the middle. I saw people at the top in harnesses. It was a zipline. I try to retreat the way we came but Blaise blocked me.

One by one the adults went up the fortress. We watched as they were sent down the zipline. I was shaking from the hike still. "Our turn next!" Charlie cheered. We shot him deadly looks. Half-leading half-forcing up the fortress we made our way to the very top. We were put in harnesses. "You can take on Dementors with no fear, ride a flying motorbike, ride Fluffy, and prank people, but you draw the line at this?" Blaise whispers in my ear. I gulp and nod.

"Do you want a countdown?" the man from earlier asked me and I nod as I was fastened onto the line. I waited for the countdown, but I didn't get one. I looked back just in time to see Blaise and the man push me off and I was zooming away.

"I FUCKING HATE YOU!" I scream at the top of my lungs as the wind whistled past my ears. I could barely see the fortress now and was zooming over the trail we'd walked over this morning. If I wasn't pissed about the lack of countdown, I might've actually enjoyed the scenery that passed by me. I made it to the end of the line.

I was unhooked and the harness and safety equipment removed. I sat on a bench and waited. "No countdown? Your boyfriend plan a prank?" a worker asked looking at my face. I nodded and the workers nodded at me like that was normal.

Blaise appeared having the time of his life. Once he was free of the harnesses he walked over. The worker tried to tell him something, but I glared from around Blaise. We went down to the ground. Once on the ground I began hitting him. He grabs my hands laughing.

We went to the waiting area. He sat down putting me on his lap so I couldn't try to hit him. "So, did you have fun?" he asks cheerfully. I glare at him. He laughs and looks away. "Poor baby! You should have seen everyone's reaction when you started screaming." he sighs. I fidget as my face reddens.

He releases my hands. "I don't think you're actually capable of hating me." he states playing with strands of my hair that had come out of the hat I was wearing. I look at him. He was still smiling. I bury my face in his neck. He wraps his arms around me as we wait for the others.

Once everyone had gathered, we went to a restaurant. The boys seemed happy seeing as their punishment went well. Angelina, Ginny, and Hermione were still shaking. "Blaise did the worker warn you that they might hit you?" Fred asks as we order dessert. Blaise shakes his head. "Me neither." Charlie said when they looked at him. I busy myself with talking to Ava and Izzy. We left the restaurant and went on a walk.

"Why did the worker not warn me?" Blaise whispers to me as the others walked ahead. I shrug. "He seemed to be well versed in boyfriends pushing their girlfriends off the zipline without a countdown." I respond after a minute. Blaise looked like he was going to say something else, but I grab his hand and pull him to the others.

On New Year's Eve we went down to the beach and watched the fireworks. I sat between Blaise's legs as we watched the others chase each other up and down the beach.
