Best in show, marvelous line, the new black! Were the words on the magazine that Luz was reading as Eda "Coughed" a bit. "What's wrong?" "Nothing just that... your mom hit the literal face of the fashion industry."

Camila shrugged a bit. "She called me and Luz "Lower Class" kind of people." "Fair point, but she's just as bad as any rich family around here and I'm sure her kid is too."

"No, she's not," Luz told Eda. "Hey like mother like daughter am I right?" The witch chuckled before taking the magazine and flipping through it. "Trash, ew, Absolute garbage!" "Hey like you know fashion."

"I do." Eda then made a spell circle and then was wearing an assortment of random clothes. "See what do you think?" "Uh..." Camila was holding her mouth trying not to laugh but lost it. "Hey she's having a fashion show in town tomorrow night, maybe that'll change your mind." "Ugh, never plus you'd have to wear one of those fancy outfits and it's not like we can just..."

Luz was on the phone (with Eda having switched to a much cheaper phone plan) filing the number she had found on the magazine. "Kid what are you doing?" "Calling them." "Wh... oh no."

About an hour later there was a very fancy carriage driven by very groomed griffins who arrived near the house as the carriage door opened with Davilla carefully walking on her tiptoes holding her dog while stepping on a small puddle as she then knocked on the door and thankfully hooty was asleep as Luz opened the door and welcomed her inside.

Soon the two girls were sipping tea that Camila made with non-poisonous herbs from what Eda told her. "So tell me what do you want from me?" "Just maybe a small favor." "And what is it?"

"If you could provide us with a bit of clothing for your mom's fashion show?" "Her show?" Davilla said while sweating a bit as Camila took notice. "Not much just three pieces of clothing for me my mom and Eda."

"The "Owl Lady"?" "I guess? Hey, Eda you never told us why everyone calls you that." Eda spat out her morning apple blood. "It's cause I'm wise that's all!" She yelled before going back to drinking. "Weird... so what do you say?"

Davilla thought for a second before shaking Luz's hand. "Deal." "Great now can you get your dog off my mom?" Luz asked as Camila was pulling her pants legs as Arlo was using his three heads to hold on to it. "No bad dog!"

Soon the three of them were wearing new clothing as Eda ditched the dress she had gotten and simply went with a brown suit tux and red bow while Camila and Luz wore exotic dresses. "Oh shiny and comfy!" "Un diseƱo tan rico"

"I have no idea what your mother just said but thank you," Davilla said as the four of them then got inside the carriage as it took off.

It was night as most of the town square was turned into a large catwalk with bright colorful lights and crowds as the carriage then stopped near the edge of the as they got off. "Wow, it's so so..." "Beautiful?" Davilla asked as Luz nodded while Camila looked around while Eda quickly started grabbing as many glasses of Apple Blood as she could carry in her arms.

Soon they then sat down near the stage as the show started with several models walking out in grey thin thick dress suits posing as photos were taken as Eda looked at the outfits closely with suspicion, next was an assortment of large fur coats with dye on them, and finally was a special announcement from a microphone. "And now introducing the one and only Olivia Crude!"

The crowd then screamed as a few fainted before the curtain then dropped as the same woman Camila had smacked walked across the catwalk wearing a large dress made of feathers before twirling around her long hair flowed through the wind as Eda then spat out her drink as she looked at Luz. "Kid this was a bad idea." "WHAT!?" Luz shouted as loud music played as Eda grunted before heading and sneaking backstage.

Soon Olivia then snatched the mic from the announcer and spoke. "Thank you all for being here of course none of this would be possible without the help of my staff, designers, and of course the most important person in my life... my husband!"

Davilla who was holding a sketch pad then simply tore off the page she was drawing and crumpled it into a ball before tossing it and running away with tears in her eyes as Luz went after her to which Camilia followed.

Eda wandered around backstage passing several lines and lines of dresses as Eda felt the smooth almost wrinkly leather as she saw the stitches on it as she started to undo it as the leather fell off as it smelled like an almost rotting corpse. "I don't like this." She then heard wailing coming from a tarped box as she opened it to find something similar to a baby seal/walrus. "A Selkidomus?" She questioned as the infant wailed more as Eda shushed it. "Quiet." She told it while trying to carry it in her arms.

"Jezz you need a fresh saltwater bath when I take you back to..." Eda was then tackled as she dropped the Selkidomus as magic ropes were wrapped around it while Eda was kicked and beaten. "That's enough!" Olivia said as her bodyguards then stopped as they lifted Eda.

"Ah, Eda Clawthorne." Eda simply spat in her face as Olivia pulled out a handkerchief and wiped herself. "DO you know how many germs your filthy mouth has!?" "Don't care now tell me why your trafficking..."

Olivia then shushed her. "Not trafficking, I paid for them a high price but deadlines are due." Olivia then took off her feather coat. "You like it? Took about... two griffins to make but it's very warm. Care to try?"

"You're a monster figuratively!" Eda shouted as her gem started to turn dark as Olivia noticed. "Speaking of monsters how's that little curse of yours going?" "Screw you."

Olivia then hit Eda in the gut before snapping her fingers as her men then tossed her in a cage. "Why are you even doing this?" Eda questioned as Olivia answered her. "I live for furs! I worship furs! After all, is there a woman in all this world who doesn't?"

She then looked at the baby Selkidomus. "Hurry up with the little one, my daughter needs a new coat, and mix it up with some Slitherbeast fur but dye it before adding it to the coat." She told her workers who then dragged the infant as it wailed.

Eda then screamed in anger and agony as her eyes became pitch black and soon in her place was a large orange/greyish owl beast as Oliva smirked. "Just wait, you're going to be my new line of limited clothing line but I think your head and skin will be perfect laying next to the fireplace on the floor!" She said while cackling as she left.
