I had rewritten this chapter. I was halfway through and realized how short it was and how there was too much dialogue. So sorry that it took longer than it should've.

I had also rewritten the first chapter too (and edited). Although it might need more editing and nothing the chapter overall didn't really, I suggest you re-read the first chapter since it has a few smaller changes.

Thank you to Sweet Cari for your review!

One foot forward and Mimi wanted to faint. Her entire body felt like it was burning, her feet aching in pain. They've been walking for an hour now, and Mimi was exhausted. It was scorching hot outside. The sun was out and it was spreading its heat. She felt like she was on fire. Before she was transported to this hell hole, she was trying on the very thick dress she is wearing right now, which added to the heat.

Aruraumon was right beside her, her vines gripping Mimi's left arm, her tongue sticking out as sweat poured down her face. The Digimon whined as she wiped her face for the hundredth time. She loved the sun, it made her feel stronger, but this was too much. It felt like her leaves and vines were about to dry up and crumble.

"That's it!" Mimi cried, catching the attention of the other humans and Digimons around her. She abruptly fell to the ground, relieving the pain she felt from hours of walking in the scorching heat.

Mimi sighed, feeling much better. She grabbed her right ankle and placed it on her left thigh, rubbing the pain away. Aruraumon followed. She fell to her knees and crawled in front of Mimi, grabbing her other foot and rubbed that one to make her partner feel comfortable.

TK, who was behind Mimi, was whimpering as he took another step, tongue sticking out of his mouth. He brushed the sweat off his brows. Tsuakaimon was on his head spreading his wings in an attempt to give his partner some shade. TK took his hat off, his hair drenched in sweat. He looked at Mimi and gasped excitedly seeing the older girl sitting on the ground.

"Are we taking a break?!" TK beamed, all of his negative thoughts getting pushed away. Mimi was going to say "yes" until Matt stepped in and interrupted her.

"No TK," Matt sighed, acting as if he was dealing with an annoying kid. "We have to find shelter soon, remember?"

TK pouted and was about to protest, but his brother didn't let him as he dragged him away. The boy continued to whine, trying to pull out of his brother's gasp but Matt kept his strong grip and continued to drag him to the rest of the group. Aruraumon sighed and stopped rubbing Mimi's ankles. She stood up and brushed her vines. "Come on, Mimi," The plant urged, "We have to get going."

But Mimi didn't want to get up, she didn't want to abuse her feet anymore. She had never walked this long before, it has already been a whole hour! How is she supposed to continue without dying? "No way!" Mimi argued. She crossed her arms and shook her head, frowning. "I need a break!" Aruraumon flinched going stiff for a second before she nodded and sat down beside her.

"Sorry Mimi," Aruruamon smiled as she continued to rub Mimi's foot. Mimi smiled back at her partner, before laying down, her arms folded behind her head. She laid there for a few seconds until Tai's face popped into her view. "Get up," Tai ordered monotonously. But then the stupid grin he always carries on his face came back. Mimi pouted. She grabbed her bag and threw it in Tai's face.

"OOF!" The bag connected with Tai's face causing him to bump into a tree. Tai groaned as the contents of the bag fell onto his face. He rubbed it, hoping to ease the pain away. "Tai!" BlackAgumon rushed to Tai's side. He took one glance at the boy before he turned to Aruraumon and glared at her.

"You're Tamer hit, Tai!" He snarled at her, and Aruraumon sat up, glaring at him back.

"So what? He deserved it!" She growled back. BlackAgumon snarled and jumped towards her, his claws out ready to attack. He jumped on her, and his claws dug deep into her shoulder, pushing her against a tree. Aruraumon gasped as the bark dug into her vines. She moaned in pain before she whipped her vines towards him, one of them scratched the top of his head while the other wrapped around his waist. BlackAgumon grunted as Aruraumon squeezed tighter. He dug his claws deeper into her shoulders and Aruraumon cried out, blood trickling out.

Tai snapped his eyes opened and Mimi swung up into an upright position, the two of them hearing the cries of Aruraumon. The rest of the group, who were way ahead of them, turned their head towards the two Digimons battling. Tai jumped onto his feet, running towards them. Mimi took her time, slowly and carefully standing up and dusting the dirt off her dress. Tai ran past her, and Mimi chased after him.

"Hey!" Tai yelled. He grabbed onto BlackAgumon and pulled him away, his claws tearing out of her vines. But Aruraumon still kept the grip on BlackAgumon's waist and squeezed tighter.

"Aruraumon!' Mimi scolded, grasping onto the vines and trying to pry them off of the dinosaur, but to no avail. But once Aruraumon felt Mimi's gloved hands on her vines, she let go of BlackAgumon, the vines swooping back to her hand.

"Is everything okay?!" Sora yelled from far ahead. BlackAgumon and Aruraumon continued to glare at each other and Tai sighed.

He turned around and gave Sora a thumbs up and a reassuring grin, then turned his attention back to the fighting digimons when she gave him a nod.

"Why the hell were you guys fighting?" He asked, glaring at each other.

"Yeah!" Mimi agreed. "You guys are friends and friends don't fight!"

BlackAgumon glared at Mimi. She was the one who hurt Tai, now she has the balls to scold him for fighting Aruraumon?

"It's your fault!" The demon dinosaur snarled at her, pointing a claw at her. Mimi blinked, surprised at first, but then it changed to anger.

"My fault?!" She fumed, clenching her fist. "How is it my fault?!"

BlackAgumon's mouth opened and profanity words were about to leave it, but a poisonous vine leaped at him, forcing him to the ground.

"BlackAgumon!" Tai rushed to his side, helping his Digimon up. "Are you okay?"

"Guys!" Sora yelled again, catching the four's attention. "Hurry up!"

BlackAgumon stood up feeling a bit unbalanced. Tai tugged his partner's arm and pulled him away.

"Come on!" He said gently and glared at Aruraumon before leaving the two and joining up with the rest.

Mimi and Aruraumon stood there for a few moments before the human shook her head and sighed in disappointment.

"Did you really have to hit him?" Mimi asked lecturing the Digimon. Aruraumon looked up to her Tamer and felt the need to defend herself.

"But he got you angry!" Aruraumon rebutted and Mimi bit her lip. "Yeah, but that doesn't mean you should hurt him!" Mimi huffed, grabbing onto the plant digimon's arm.

"Come on," She said, pulling the plant with her. "Let's catch up with the others."

Mimi took one more step and the ground beneath her foot dropped, the leaves tearing apart to reveal a large hole.

The fourth-grader squealed as she plummeted down said hole. Aruraumon gasped.

"Mimi!" The evil plant scrunched her face, mustering up all her courage, and then dived right in.

Mimi screamed as she continued to fall. Her chest was tight, her breathing was rigid. The girl closed her eyes in anticipation of the dreaded drop.

And Bam! her back slammed against the concrete, her dress getting soaked in the water beneath her. It stung a whole ton, it felt as if she had bellyflopped into a pool but instead the pain was on her back. She snapped her eyes opened and gaped at the pain, to only see Aruraumon falling atop of her.

"GAHHH!" Mimi let out a few coughs as her partner landed on her stomach. She lunged forward at the contact, and selfishly pushed Aruraumon off to relieve herself from the weight and pain.

"Get off of me!" Mimi whined, sitting back up. Aruraumon was on all fours, feeling a bit lightheaded from the fall, and shook her head. Her Tamer rubbed her back and winced as she unintentionally pressed her palm against a big bruise.

"Ow..." She whimpered. Aruraumon looked up to her partner and clutched onto her arm. "Are you okay, Mimi?"

She didn't respond for a few minutes and took the time to control her breathing. She took a few deep breaths and she nodded.

"Y-yeah." The two stood up. Aruraumon got up before her partner and helped the struggling Mimi up back to her feet. The fourth-grader still felt incredibly lightheaded. Her surroundings were spinning and she felt like she was going to faint.

"Where...where are we?" Mimi blinked, trying to regain her vision. Aruraumon looked around their surroundings.

It seemed they were in some kind of sewer. They were standing in a small puddle of green murky water, and in between two dry sidewalks. Aruraumon took a sniff and immediately her eyes widened and her face turned into a darker shade of green. She gagged at the horrific smell, a smell worse than her own pollen.

"C-come on," Aruraumon heaved, tugging onto Mimi's arm. Her Tamer rubbed her eyes and blinked a bit more, her sight coming back to her. She looked around the sewers and gagged as she smelled the area.

"Ewww!' She whined, covering her mouth. "Why does it smell like that?"

Aruraumon pinched her flat nose. "I don't know.."

Aruraumon wrapped a vine around Mimi's waist and looked up. It was high but she could faintly see the hole. Mimi copied Aruraumon and turned her head upwards. Her smile widened.

"Thank god!" Mimi chirped, "Now we can get out of here!"

Aruraumon wasn't so sure though. She bit her lip and raised her other arm. Her vines swung upwards, Aruraumon grunting as she tried to find a grip, but no grip was found and her vines were pulled back to her.

"I can't seem to get up..." She mumbled. Mimi frowned, straining her neck to get a better view. It did seem pretty high, but it was apparently too high for Aruraumon vines. Maybe she could call for help? If they heard her, they could drop a rope or something down to them.

She circled her hands around her mouth, about to call for Sora or Tai, but to their left, they heard some splashing noises.

"Uh?" Both human and Digimon snapped their head to where the noises were coming from. The noises became louder and louder and the two squinted their eyes, where they saw a large green blob running at them.

"What is that?" Mimi asked cocking her head to the side. Aruraumon squinted her eyes even more and took a step closing to see what it was. The green blob became more clear. They didn't look like one, but a bunch of individual blobs, all stacked on top of each other.

"Wait a minute..." Aruraumon said, stroking her chin. "Is that..."

The demon-plant Digimon gasped as she saw the purple spots on this green Digimon's back and two eyeballs that were stuck on top of their heads instead of on their face. Her pupils dilated and she took a step back, her mouth gaped open and her face showed off her disgust.

"IT'S A NUMEMON!" She screeched before swinging around and grasping Mimi's hand. She dashed away from them, pulling Mimi with her.

"Woah!" Mimi stumbled and almost tripped before she was pulled back to her feet. Her partner ran at full speed, not giving the poor human enough time to stay steady. She was forced to continue running at that speed, which slowly started to cause her ankles more pain.

Aruraumon did not seem to notice her partner's distress. She was too focused on getting away from the disgusting heard of Digimon. Numemon?! Out of all the Digimons in the world, why did it have to be those slimy fools?! She would've preferred a Demon Lord for hell's sake!

She turned her head around, missing the screwed expression on Mimi's face, and took a glance at the Numemons. She bit her lip. They were faster than she thought, the group of globs were very close to catching up, each of them saying "wait!" or "help us".

Aruraumon scoffed. 'As if!' She thought, turning her head forward. But her eyes widened at what she saw. More Numemons.

There was another group of those pesky things, and they had all gathered in front of them. She stopped in her tracks, the disgusting Digimons blocking her only exit out. She fumed and swiftly spun around, but the Numemons that were chasing them had already caught up and blocked their other way out. The two groups began to connect, making one large pack.

They were cornered with no way out.

"Mimi! Aruraumon!" Tai and BlackAgumon were huddled around the hole where Mimi and Aruraumon were plunged into. The human and Digimon duo were down on their knees, their head sticking into the hole.

BlackAgumon brought his head up, careful not to bump into Tai's. But Tai also raised his head, causing the two heads to collide.

"Ow!" Tai whimpered swinging his head up. He clutched the back of his head, tears pricking his eyes. "This is the second time I was hit in the head today!"

TK and Kari were running around with Tsukaimon and Salamon. The four of them laughed joyfully as they played a fun little game of tag. Tsuakimon was it, and boy was he struggling. His little wings could only work for so long.

Izzy was sitting by a tree, his back against the trunk, laptop in his lap. Sora and Matt were standing beside him with their Digimon partners.

"What are you doing again?" Sora asked. Izzy did say something about helping Mimi and Aruraumon but never said what. Sora and Matt's curiosity did get the better of them, so they decided to watch. Although, whatever that was displayed on his screen was too complicated for the two to understand.

Izzy shrugged, as he continued to type away on his laptop. "I'm not sure..." He admitted, biting his lip. Matt rolled his eyes, annoyed. He turned around, Psychemon jumping to his feet.

"Why am I surprised?" He muttered under his breath. He walked away from the four and walked past Joe. The sixth-grader was staring at the ground thinking about the voice. His hand were clenched and he was sweating tremendously. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't forget about what was said to him.

Gomamon looked up to his partner, noticing the distress that his Tamer carried the entire day.

Aruraumon growled, glaring at the Numemons. Her arms were outstretched and her legs were parted, using herself as a shield for Mimi. The fourth-grader gagged, the unpleasant odour increasing thanks to the few hundred Numemons. She pinched her nose, flapping her hand.

"What do you want from us?!" The demon plant snarled, gritting her teeth. All the Numemons waddled closer, and the duo stepped back, hitting each other in the process.

"We need your help!" One of the Numemons in the front cried out. The rest of his kind gasped, surprised that even one of them had the courage to talk to those two.

That Numemon waddled closer, stepping away from his gang. Mimi blinked at the poor thing, but Aruraumon was still pissed off.

"Our help?!" She spat, causing the glob to flinch. "Why would we help you?!"

The Numemon scrunched up a little and his friends winced. Then the tears on the little blobs became present, and Mimi suddenly felt sorry for him. She frowned, her heart aching for the poor thing. She gently hit Aruraumon's arm who whined out an "ow", rubbing her slightly sore vines. Mimi huffed and walked towards the Numemon. Everyone watched in surprise, and Aruruaumon in disgust.

"What happened?" Mimi asked, kneeling. The Numemon's eyes glanced downwards and he rubbed his eyeballs against his chest, wiping the tears away. They sprung back to their normal position, sniffling up his snot.

Mimi gave the Numemon a sweet and genuine smile, placing her hand under the Numemon and lifting him, standing up straight. Aruraumon gagged, disgusted at the thought of touching one of those things, and the other Numemons gasped and marvelled at her kindness.

The Numemon stared at her with wide eyes, his tiny heart beating. Small rays of sunlight shinned over the girl, outlining her best features. Her hair was so glossy and her eyes were so bright. To the Numemon, she looked so beautiful at the moment, as beautiful as an angel. It makes him want to...want to say...

"Will you marry me?!" He blurted out, instantly regretting it. His pack gasped at him, knowing the horrible mistake he just made. The Numemon gapped, but closed his mouth and bit his lip as a way to keep his mouth shut.

Mimi went through several moods at this time. She first felt shocked, then confused, then disgusted, and finally anger.

"Marry me?!" Mimi shrieked, her nose scrunched up and her mouth and eyes wide opened. "Gross!"

Without thinking, the girl threw the Numemon away, causing chaos to erupt.

Despite trying to get away, the girl and her Digimon were sitting on the floor, huddled close to each other, while all of the Numemons hovered over them. Except for two. The Numemon who proposed to Mimi, and another one.

"What do you want?" Rasped Mimi, her and Aruraumon's arms wrapped around each other. Aruraumon seethed at him, scooting closer to Mimi.

Numemon #1, the one who asked Mimi out, looked down to the floor ashamed. Numemon #2 nudged his side, making him look up to her.

"Go on," Numemon #2 said nodding towards Mimi. The human and Digimon duo glared at him, snuggling closer to each other. Numemon #1 shuddered, wabbling a little bit closer.

"I-I'm sorry..." He apologized, "I shouldn't have asked you to marry me.."

Mimi continued to glare at him. She scrunched up her shoulders, squeezing Aruruamon tighter. She is so glad to have Aruraumon by her side, she felt so safe and warm with her. It was nice to have a best friend with you during this traumatizing moment.

"Fine!" She huffed, Aruraumon's eyes widening. She was about to protest until Mimi put her hand up silencing her. "Can we go now?"

And then they all gasped, all from worry. Mimi scrunched her nose, what was that for? All she wanted to do was leave.

"You can't!" Cried Numemon #2. She wabbled up to the two. "We need your help!"

"For what?!" Fumed Aruraumon. All the Numemons tensed at her words, which was something that Mimi noticed. Despite getting mortified by one of their proposals, she felt for the little things and gently smacked Aruraumon's arm. Again

"Ow!" She yelped, rubbing her arm. "Again?!"

Mimi shushed her, finger on her lip. She nodded her head towards the horrified Numemons.

"Let them finish," She said sternly making Aruraumon pout. She turned her attention to the mollusks, and gave them a soft smile (or at least she tried to) and shuffled closer.

"Go on," She said, "You can continue,"

Numemon #2 nodded and told her their story.

The sewers, the Numemons property, were taken over by this Digimon called Atamadekachimon and his little brother Minidekachimon. And instead of letting the Numemons go, they captured them and turned them into slaves.

And this angered Mimi. Which upset Aruraumon.

"Mimi no!" She barked. One of her vines was around Mimi's body, while the other one was wrapped around a pipe. She gritted her teeth as she tried to keep Mimi still, but the girl was still able to take another step forward. "It's dangerous!"

"I don't care!" Mimi grunted, trying to pry off the vines. "They can't do that to them!"

The Numemons were in front of Mimi, waiting anxiously, hoping for Mimi to get free. Only a few of them came, the rest stayed behind.

"Let me go!" The girl shrieked, gasping as her bonds tightened. Aruruamon heaved squeezing tighter. "I can't!"

Bam! Mimi and Aruraumon paused as a loud stomp shook the area. The Numemons all tensed up and bundled together, quickly running behind Aruruamon. Mimi and Aruruamon looked around the sewers, the plant Digimon unleashing her vines.

"What was that?" Mimi asked as her partner walked up to her. She shrugged. "I'm not sure..."

"What are you doing?!" A loud voice roared causing the two to jump. The human and Digimon partners looked at each other, before nodding and running towards the noise.

There was a turn, and the two hid behind a wall, their heads poking out. There they saw a large space and to their surprise more Numemons, who were being ordered around by two funny-looking dinosaurs.

They were both red and looked almost identical, one just bigger than the other, and both sitting on a throne made of plastic and garbage. The big one had a small body but a large head and a long tongue. His tongue was sticking out of his mouth, and there sat a mini version of him, whose head was the right size.

Mimi and Aruruamon narrowed their eyes. Although they had never seen this Digimon before, judging by the multiple scared and working Numemons at the back, it was safe to assume that they were Atamadekachimon and Minidekachimon.

"It's them!" Mimi hissed. Aruraumon shushed her and smacked her lightly on the arm.

"Tell me," Minidekachimon growled snapping Mimi's and Aruraumon's attention back to them. "What happened to my food!"

There was a small Numemon in front of him, smaller than Numemon #1 and #2. A smashed fruit was placed beside him, and the poor Digimon was looking down shaking, tears in his eyes. His fellow Numemons were hiding behind him, all packed together.

"ANSWER ME!" Numemon #3 flinched and scooted away, his friends whimpering and squeezing closer together. Mimi clenched her fist as she watched the small Numemon breath heavily, beads of sweat running down his entire body.

Having enough, Mimi jumped out of her hiding spot, scaring Aruraumon.

"Leave them alone!" She demanded, yanking her pointer finger at them. This gained their attention and everyone snapped their heads towards Mimi. Aruruamon hissed at her partner's stupidity.

"Mimi!" She whispered, "Get over here!"

Minideckachimon growled at their unexpected visitor. His anger for the pathetic Numemon destroying his food faded and was now upset yet intrigued by the human girl.

"Big brother!" Atamadekachimon raised his long tongue so his little brother could be eye-level with him. "Take me to the human!"

The larger dinosaur nodded at his demand and hopped off his chair. He stomped his way towards Mimi, the ground shaking underneath him. Mimi gasped as she lost her balance. She kneeled and her left hand pressed against the wet concrete.

Mimi felt a shadow loom over her. She snapped her head up to see under Atamdekachimon's chin and his long swirly tongue with Minidekachimon was right in her face.

"Well, well, well," Minidekachimon grinned, his tiny hands resting on his hips. "What do we have here?"

"Nemesis Ivy!" A vine swung towards him, and Minidekachimon wailed as the whip threw him off of his brother's tongue, slamming against the wall. Atamadekachimon gaped and sucked his tongue into his mouth.

"Minidekachimon!" He cried, running up to the smaller dinosaur. His little brother was laid on the floor, face first, groaning as his face swelled up. Tears welled up in the bigger dinosaur's eyes, as he held his brother gently. "Minidekachimon..."

"Are you okay, Mimi?" Aruruamon asked, helping Mimi to her feet. The fourth-grader heaved, nodding her head.

"Yep!" She grinned, giving Aruraumon a thumbs up, who smiled back at her. Mimi and Aruraumon then turned their heads to the Numemons, ignoring their opponents.

They were still huddling together in fear, but this time Numemon #3 joined them. Mimi looked to Aruruamon, silently asking her if she can go up to them, and her partner nodded a yes.

Beaming, Mimi skipped up to the Numemons with Aruruamon behind her. But they didn't find her all comforting, they didn't know her at all, and they tried to scoot away farther, despite already being clasped against the wall.

"It's okay," Mimi said calmly, slowing down her pace. "I won't hurt you,"

As if they were a scared puppy, Mimi lent out her hand. The Numemons blinked at her, confused. They leaned forward to get a better view but were still very confused. There wasn't any food, weapon, or any foreign object in her hand. There was nothing in her hand, it was empty.

The human girl awkwardly took away her hand after noting that they don't use their sent or anything to recognize them. She laughed clumsily as she rubbed her hand against her dress.

"I'm not a bad person," Was what Mimi decided to say as a way to get them to like her. But they didn't seem to trust her all that much, and the way they looked her up and down made them seem very suspicious of her too.

She was going to say something else to calm the Numemons but was pulled downwards by Aruraumon. Mimi yelped as she was forced to bow down until she was face to face with Aruraumon.

"We gotta go!" Her partner warned, pulling her towards the exit. Mimi sighed, grabbing onto Aruruamon's shoulders to keep her still and looked back to the Numemon.

"If you want to leave, escape now!" The Numemons stared at her but didn't do anything. Didn't move, didn't speak, didn't complain, didn't run, nothing. They just stared at her, but then their pupils shot behind them, and they all went stiff.

The human and the Digimon noticed their strange reaction. They slowly and hesitantly turned around, and behind them was Atamadekachimon, who had tears in his eyes. Aruraumon scoffed at him, narrowing her eyes.

"What do you want?!" She barked, her hand clenching around Mimi's wrist. Mimi cried as her partner's grip tightened. Atamadekachimon heaved angrily, his tiny fist clenched.

"You killed my brother!" Atamadekachimon sniffled up his tears, which shook the whole sewers. His heart pounded with anger and sorrow as he remembered all the fun times when Minidekachimon, his little brother, would bully and order him around, the brother who is now dead.

Mimi and Aruruamon eyes widened at Atamadekachimon's accusation. They sprung their head to where Aruraumon hit Minidekachimon, to see loose data smeared against the wall, data that they assumed once belonged to Minidekachimon.

This shocked the two, especially Aruruamon. She knew how weak her attacks are, and she knew that one small whip from her vines should've just scratched a somemon, not kill them.

"I killed him?" Aruruamon blinked in surprise, looking down to her hand, then to the floating data, and then back to her hand again. "How?"

"I hate you!" The red dinosaur roared, stomping onto the ground, more tears leaking out of his closed eyes. He ignored her question as he continued to spur insults to her.

Aruruamon rolled her eyes, getting annoyed fairly quickly by his abusive words. She'd heard worse, she actually had heard everything he was yelling at her multiple times before. It was getting pretty old.

"Oh please!" She scoffed, shrugging. "If he was so weak to die from a small whip, then he didn't deserve to live."

And this was when Atamadekachimon snapped. Aruraumon didn't even sense any danger or any sort of movement until the huge head belonging to the red dinosaur went crashing in front of Mimi and Aruruamon.

"Atama Tsubushi!" Atamadekachimon cried, the impact from his attack cracking the concrete and throwing Mimi and Aruruamon off their feet. The two wailed as they fell onto their back, Mimi head slamming onto the ground hard.

"Ow," She whimpered, slowly reaching behind the back of her head. She gently touched the bruise and her whole body shook from the pain. This frightened Mimi, her breathing becoming rigid. Her heart was pounding fast and hard and it increased once she saw her fingertips covered in blood.

The brunette gulped and bit her lip. Her body was shaking lightly and the background noises became fainter and fainter. Although she had to witness the actions of her cruel mother, she barely ever saw blood and was naturally terrified.

Mimi continued to stare at her bloody hand, but then the cries of the Numemons snapped her out of her trance. She shook her head harshly, and rubbed her hand against the ground, scratching them a little. She sprung her head towards the glob Digimons, and her goal came back to her: rescue the Numemons.

"Leave!" She ordered, getting the Numemons attention. They were all so focused on Aruruamon and Atamadekachimon's fight that they forgot about the human. "Leave now when you have the chance!"

They took a moment to think. The Minidekachimon (the meaner one) was dead, and Atamadekachimon was busy fighting Aruraumon. They do have a chance, but after everything they went through, they knew it was risky.

"Just go already!" Mimi yelled ferociously which made the pack flinch, and they quickly listened to her words, scrambling away and finally escaping.

"Atama Tsubushi!" Atamadekachimon's banged his head against the floor, cracking the concrete. Aruraumon jumped back, swinging her vines towards him.

"Nemesis Ivy!" Her vines hit his cheek creating a small scratch. The dinosaur winced at the stinging pain on his face. He tried to rub the pain away but his hands were too short to reach it.

While Atamadekachimon was distracted, Aruraumon took this chance to attack him. She opened her mouth and breathed out a dark poisonous gas. "Gloom Dust!"

Atamadekachimon eyes opened to see himself surrounded by a purple gas. The gas was strong, and it immediately stang his eyes. The dinosaur shrieked, closing his eyes again, tears pricking them. He wanted to rub his pained eyes but couldn't do a thing without Minidekachimon around...his hands were just too small.

Atamadekachimon sniffled up his tears, only to inhale some of the gas surrounding him. He grasped his throat as it tightening, his nose burning. He kneeled and tried to cough it out, but was in too much pain to do soo.

Swish! The dinosaur opened his eyes as a reflex once he heard the noises moving around him. He thought the gas was gone, but it was still there and it burned his eyes again. He wailed and quickly shut them. But before he did so, he saw the shadow of the demon-plant Digimon above him.

"Gottcha!" Aruraumon grinned, the gas fading away to reveal Atamadekachimon, all tied up by Aruruamon vines. She smirked at the dinosaur, who was struggling to get free.

She was up in the air, standing on the wall, her other vines wrapped around a pipeline on the ceiling to keep her up. Atamadekachimon was wiggling and twisting while in her hold, which made the demon plant's grin grow. She loves seeing her little insects squirm while being caught in her claws.

"Mimi!" Aruruamon barked, causing her Tamer to flinch. She was astonished at how Aruraumon was able to defeat a much stronger and bigger Digimon, her eyes fixated at the squirming Atamadekachimon, forgetting about her partner.

Aruraumon noticed that she got Mimi's attention, and cocked her head to where the exit was.

"Run!" She ordered, grunting as her vines tightened around Atamadekachimon. "I'll catch up with you soon!"

A growl came from Atamadekachimon, as he clenched his muscles. Taking in a big breath, the dinosaur wrenched his arms to the side, tossing his head up and arching his back. The vines snapped off of him and swung back to her Aruraumon, surprising the Digimon and Tamer.

Although, Aruraumon's feelings quickly subsided and were replaced by annoyance. She growled at the dinosaur and clasped her fist. Atamadekachimon swung his body towards Aruraumon, his eyes sparkling with anger and hatred.

Atamadekachimon opened his mouth, a fireball spewing out of it. Aruraumon eyes widened, not expecting the attack. She let go of the pipeline, dodging the fireball as it hit the ceiling instead. But without enough time to think, Aruraumon landed harshly on her stomach, instead of catching herself on her feet.

Aruraumon groaned, the impact of the fall hitting her hard. Her head banged against the hard ground scrapping her forehead. A small stream of green blood oozed out of the scratch, falling down Aruraumon's face.

"Aruraumon!" Mimi gasped, running up to her Digimon. She slid down onto her knees and gently placed her hands on Aruraumon's head.

"Aruraumon?" Mimi whispered as she caressed Aruraumon's wrinkly flower. The demon plant moaned in pain, tilting her head to look at Mimi, her eyes clouded in exhaustion and discomfort.

Mimi continued to care for her partner, even when she heard Atamadekachimon's loud footsteps. A shadow loomed over and she cocked her head up to see Atamadekachimon standing over her.

She glared at him, and carefully pulled Aruraumon onto her lap. Mimi just wanted to go home, or at least leave these sewers. Her dress was wenched in the musky water and she's sure the horrible smell had caught onto her. They only stayed to help the Numemons and they're free, but now they are trapped in the sewers.

"Leave us alone!" Mimi barked, bringing Aruraumon closer to her chest. Atamadekachimon growled at them blowing out air from his nostrils.

"No!" He snarled, his hands held into a fist. "You killed my brother,"

Atamadekachimon bobbed his head upward, and at what felt like slow motion, he started to crash it down on them. Mimi wasn't thinking straight, and instead of running, she stayed put hugging Aruraumon closer to her. The Dark Digivice in her bag emitting a juniper green light.

Aruraumon body glowed the same colour that was coming from Mimi's digivice. Mimi gasped, shielding her eyes from the bright light. Atamadekachimon hissed as he took a step back, tucking his head into his arms.

"Aruraumon digivolve too..." Aruraumon's glowing body rose in the air. Her legs became one but then spread out, her arms extended and her claws were clumpered together into a fist, and her head took a more oval shape. "Ponchomon!"

The light soon died down and there stood Aruraumon but in a new form. Ponchomon looked like a giant cactus but was wearing a poncho and a sombrero on her head, with two maracas placed in the rim of the hat. Her mouth was dropped open to display the row of razor-sharp teeth. Her arms were wrapped in old bandages and its fist was stuffed in a pair of teared-up boxing gloves.

Ponchomon's row of teeth came crashing into each other making a loud Snap! noise. Atamadekachimon snarled at her. Even if she digivolved, he will still defeat her! Especially after she killed Minidekachimon.

"Goddamit!" Atamadekachimon cursed and in a spit of anger, he rushed towards, jumping in the air. "Atama Tsubashi!"

The dinosaur bobbed his head downwards, jumping on top of Ponchomon. The cactus held out her arm, and she grabbed onto his chin, stopping his attack.

Atamadekachimon gasped and squirmed. Ponchomon grunted as she raised her arms slowly, holding onto Atamadekachimon by his chin, lifting him in the air. He kicked his little legs and wiggled his little body, trying to get out of her hold.

Ponchomon cried swinging her arms to the side. She let go of Atamadekachimon sending him to the slimy wall. His body crashed into it, producing a dent the size of his head and slipped onto the puddle of dirty water.

Ponchomon dashed towards him, her fist raised. "Tequila Knuckle!" Her fist came crashing down onto Atamadekachimon, punching his small stomach. He gagged as his body and head arched up, coughing up some spit.

Ponchomon was going to send another punch to his mouth, but before she could hit him his jaws bit down on her arm. Ponchomon wailed, his sharp teeth sinking into her wrist, his tongue slurping on her fist.

"LET GO OF HER!" Atamadekachimon's smirk from his cockiness and 'victory' was replaced with an expression of shock and pain. A cold metal pole hit the top of his head, his entire body shaking from the attack. Dizziness and pain were circuiting through his body that he didn't notice that his mouth was being forced open by Ponchomon, who freed her trapped hand. The whole world was spinning around him.

He could barely notice Mimi, who was looming over him with a metal pole that was as big as her in her grasp, nor Ponchomon, who was holding the two maracas she owned that were covered in blue flames

"Blood Dance," She started, raising her two arms. "Maracas Version!"

The flames on the maracas swirled together and to make a ball of green energy. She threw the balls down to Atamadekachimon, and the second it hit contact with him, he exploded into dozen of pixels.

Mimi panted as she took another wobbly step on her unsteady legs. She grunted as her feet shook beneath her and pressed her hand and leaned closer to the wall beside her.

Ponchomon had gone back to Aruraumon after the fight. She was helping Mimi walk, keeping her steady. She had her Tamer's arm wrapped around her neck and wrapped her arm around Mimi's waist. She squeezed Mimi's hand, and slowly took another step, Mimi trying to go follow in suit.

The fourth-grader whimpered, her ankle throbbing as she placed her other foot forward. Losing all of her energy, Mimi's leg gave out underneath her. She slid down to her knees, letting out a long breath.

"Mimi?" Aruruamon kneeled on one knee, inspecting for any injuries placed on Mimi. "What's wrong?"

The girl shook her head and sighed, feeling a small thumping pain growing in her head. "Nothing," She gasped, as she tried to stand up.

Aruraumon was right by Mimi's side again, helping her stand. She squeaked as she struggled to help lift the heavier human. And Mimi's effort wasn't really doing much, her legs were weak and her feet were sore.

"Human!" Aruruamon and Mimi looked up as a childish voice called out to them. When they looked up they saw Numemon #3 running up them, waving his little hand, and the rest of the Numemons behind him.

"Numemon!" Mimi gasped, her eyes widening. Numemon #3 skidded up to them and stuffed his body into Mimi's knee. Aruruamon gagged at the little thing and turned her head around to avoid looking at it.

"You did it!" Mimi flinched at the loud voice and her pupils trailed upwards. All the other Numemon's had gathered around them. Numemon #1 and #2 stepped out of the pack and stood up to them.

"Thank you so much for saving us!" Numemon #2 beamed, her eyes sparkling. Numemon #1 nodded, his globby arms reaching for Numemon #3's shoulders and pulled him back. "We wouldn't be here without you!"

The rest of the Numemon's nodded and started to thank her too. They even added on to it and began to compliment her, talking about how silky her hair is, how warm her eyes are and how beautiful her face is. Mimi blushed at the compliment, her ego inflating.

"Ohhhh!" Mimi cooed, resting her cheek on her palm and twirled her hair with her finger. "Stop it, you guys!"

Yes, please stop it. It's getting annoying.

Mimi eyes snapped open at the cold voice, not expecting that rude comment. She glared at whichever Numemon said that but was surprised to see all the Numemon's gone, and so were the sewers that were now replaced by a dark and hallow black room.

Mimi swung her head around only to find herself all alone in this dark place. Even Aruraumon was gone.

'Guys?' Mimi asked, her voice echoing slightly. 'Where are you?'

It's good that your partner digivolved... The creepy voice mused sending a chill down Mimi's spine. But you clearly hadn't learned anything!

'Learn what?' She wondered, the voice letting out an irritated sigh.

Did you really think it was a good idea to help the Numemons? Do you still think it was a good idea? It asked with a scoff. You should've just killed them yourself!

Mimi felt as if her heart was stomped on hearing those cruel words. She bit her lip, trying to suppress the thought of killing anyone, but it was of no use as those words continue to replay in her head.

'Kill them?!' She shrieked. 'Why would I kill them?'

Because it's the only way to make yourself useful It seethed, his dark misty voice making Mimi freeze in fear. Caring and helping a bunch of insects that won't give you anything in return is useless

Her heart began to race, her breathing becoming irregular. She placed her hands over her beating heart and can feel it thumping through her palm. She parted her and tried to say something back, but no words came out. Instead, a small whimper slipped out of her mouth.

Mimi exhaled a gust of breath and pressed her palm harder against her chest to slow her heart down. She gulped, taking in all the courage she has.

'If it wasn't for me, the Numemons would be dead right now. I saved them, isn't that what matters?'

She thought for a split second that maybe that creepy voice had understood her. But judging by its response, she knew that that wasn't the case. She knew that her statement only fueled its anger.

Kindness will bring you nothing It hissed at her in a husky and sinister voice. Mimi flinched at the wrath and fury hidden in its voice.

Kill them. He ordered and Mimi shut her eyes, trying to ignore the voice. Kill. Them. All

A slimy and gooey texture wrapped itself around Mimi's ankle. Her eyes widened, and with no hesitation, she slipped her foot out of its embrace and slammed it on top of it, pressing her foot through whatever hugged her.

And that was when Mimi noticed it was a Numemon. Numemon #3 to be exact. The smallest one. The darkness was gone and the Numemons surrounding her were back. So was Aruraumon who was by her side.

Her pupils dilated and her eyebrows rose in shock. She quickly extracted her foot off of the struggling and squirming Numemon, but it was too late, as it burst into data.

I was always going to use Ponchomon as Aruraumon's Champion form in this fic since Ponchomon is a ghost type and a virus, but after Palmon evolved into Ponchomon in the Digimon reboot, I knew she was the perfect Digimon to use.

Although Ponchomon did evolve from Palmon instead and was a good Digimon in the anime, I still thought that it was still a good digivolution for her corrupted form. And considering that Palmon can evolve into her now I guess it can also work for Aruraumon.

I am sorry if the fight seemed to be lazily written or rushed. I don't know why but the fight scenes have been getting harder for me to write lately!

Also, Minidekachimon and Numemon are weak AF in this
