Room With A View

A few houses down, a streetlight standing out in the rain gave off the only light in the darkened room. It wasn't a bright light, but you did have to squint if you needed to see something. Or someone. But Liv didn't need her vision to know who was behind her. That delicious deep voice whispering those challenging words so close to her ear like a secret sent a shiver down her spine. It was Fitz.

She smiled against his large hand that was still over her mouth. He hadn't stayed downstairs with his sister and roommate for a while longer like she thought he had planned to do. Instead, he had come upstairs. To be with her. It was a nice surprise, and a sweet one too. The realization had her grin getting even bigger as she relaxed against him.

Fitz became acutely aware of her small body leaning against his chest. He practically stopped breathing.

Thrilled was the only word he could think of to describe having Liv this close to him once again. Her scent filled his nostrils. Hell, it seemed to fill the whole room. He hoped it clung to the room like a lover long after she eventually left the next day.

There was no way to know if she had goosebumps on her arms from being grabbed from behind in a darkened room, thanks to the bulky sweatshirt he had given her earlier. He'd wrestled with thinking his actions would scare her as he darted up the stairs stealthier than his sister had given him credit for. An ear piercing scream in the middle of the night would surely kill the connection they currently had going on between them. He must have made the right choice because she seemed completely at ease with this closeness.

Fitz felt her smile against his hand grow and the damndest thing happened. It caused him to smile too. Dropping his hand from her mouth, he wrapped his arms around her chest, holding onto her shoulders. The moment her hands came up to hold onto his forearms, he might have sighed a little. This was turning out to be the best night of his life. "What are you so happy about?"

"Nothing really." Liv said, playing it casual. "I just remembered that I have to pick up my dry cleaning this week."

He chuckled and tightened his hold on her a bit. "You're a terrible liar. What's making you smile so big?"

"You really want to know?" She had no idea that their happy expressions were practically mirror images.

"Yea."

"Kiss me and I'll tell you."

His interest in whatever was making her smile was abruptly moved very low on his list of desires. He'd desperately wanted to kiss her since the last time he'd done it. Wasting time wasn't an option anymore. Spinning her around in his arms so he could face her, his blue inquisitive eyes studied her for a moment. Just a moment.

A split second later, he licked his lips and then dipped his head, connecting their lips in a velvety soft tender kiss. He felt her arms come up and wind around his neck. That sigh of his might have deepened. He couldn't be sure, because he was too wrapped up in kissing Liv right now.

When he finally broke the kiss, he looked down at her and sent her a contented smile. God, she was perfect. This moment was perfect. This night was...

"I thought you wanted to know why I was so happy?"

Fitz blinked a few times, scattering his blissful fog away. "I'm sorry. What did you say?"

She repeated her question, with a slightly superior look. "I said, I thought you wanted to know why I was so happy?"

The whole reason for the kiss in the first place, dummy, his brain screamed.

"Oh! Right!" he exclaimed. "So what is the reason?"

"I said, I'd tell you if you kissed me. Remember?" She gently reminded him.

"Riiiiiight. And I just kissed you." Fitz patiently explained as his still squinted eyes darted around the room in confusion.

"Oh." Liv took a step backwards, tilted her head to the side, and pointed at the space between them. "That was your best shot?"

She was cute.

"You wanna do this?" he challenged in a mocking tone.

Liv shrugged and shot him an innocent look. "I dunno. Do I?"

She wanted to play games? She'd lose, because his job was basically a series of lengthy games of chess, and he was legend at it, but they could play games. "Are you sure you really wanna do this?"

But he was already closing the small gap between them. The one she had created.

Keeping her eyes on him, Liv defiantly said, "yup."

Fitz grabbed a wad of material at the waistband of the sweats she was wearing, and began walking her backwards. Her playful confusion turned real very, very quickly as her back landed against the wall with a light thud. Even though his hand kept a firm grip of the cotton waistband, she seemed to relax a few degrees. It was short lived however, because he dipped his head once again, this time much quicker than the last time, and ravaged her mouth.

Having the advantage of catching her off guard, his tongue slid into her mouth to taste as he pleased. Always the gentleman, Fitz worried that she might not appreciate his sudden forwardness, but the moment he felt her hand cup the back of his head and pull him closer, he knew she was comfortable with it. He kept her back pressed against the wall and continued to kiss her until they were both breathless.

The kiss was broken by Liv who desperately needed air. She thought when people described feeling dizzy from being kissed that it was an over exaggeration, but she had to admit that was exactly how she was feeling right now. Either the entire room was spinning or Fitz had kissed her like she had never been kissed before. She clung to his shoulders as she waited for the spinning in her head to stop.

Fitz wasn't giving her time to gain her bearings. He pulled the material of the overly large hoodie she was wearing away from her body, exposing her neck and shoulder. Squinting hard, he didn't see a bra strap. She was killing him! Best way to go, he thought.

His face darted toward her soft skin where he began to leave a blazing trail of kisses from her earlobe to the edge of her shoulder. She was encouraging him with the little feminine sounds she was making. Whimpers and moans into his ear as she clutched his shoulders and held on for dear life while he did what he pleased. He could listen to those sounds all night and never tire of them.

Eventually, Fitz lifted his head, and through heavy breathing and light dizziness of his own, he once again attacked her lips with great fervor. Their shallow breaths mixed together in a beautiful symphony only the two of them could create.

What was he doing to her? Moments after Fitz broke the kiss, Liv realized that she was grinding against his body like a stripper on a mission. Her heart rate was through the roof and her need for more was like nothing she had ever felt before. It was her own fault for thinking this would be a tame fun thing for the two of them.

Trying to come off as cool and unbothered, but failing miserably, Liv simply said, "better, but is it your best?"

He grinned at her in the dimly lit room. She was trying to act like it wasn't a big deal, but in reality, she was desperate for more. In response, he let go of the handful of material he had somehow kept clutched in his hand the entire time. The large, gray, cotton pants fell gracefully to the floor in a split second.

"Shit!" she exclaimed, bending to grab them.

Fitz grabbed her arm before she could reach for the pants and pulled her to stand up in front of him again.

When he didn't speak, Liv started to ask, "what are you..."

He pulled her up into his arms and held onto her butt while her legs locked around his.

"This is your move?" She asked skeptically as her voice wavered. She was in over her head and she knew it.

Fitz shot her a smug look. "I think you'll like it, but first things first. If you want to stop, say so. You control everything that happens here. I'm content with kissing and am not interested in doing anything that you don't want to do."

As he continued to speak about consent and trust, Olivia couldn't help but smile at him. He was holding her in his arms, hands on her panty covered ass, but not letting them roam. Not yet anyway. Two pieces of clothing separated her from being completely nude, yet he wasn't acting like a starved wolf. He was assuring her of being in control of the situation and could pump the brakes any time she decided to. It was – the only word that kept coming into the forefront of her mind – refreshing. She seemed to have found that one in a million guy that she always assumed never existed.

He was mid sentence when she leaned forward and kissed him. It wasn't fast and frenzied, but rather soft and sensual. Now it was she who sighed contentedly as she pulled him close so there was no space between them. Keeping her hold on his shoulders, Liv broke the kiss and opened her eyes to watch his face.

Twin blue orbs opened and met her gaze. "Wow."

"Wow is right. I didn't mean to interrupt you, but I can't seem to concentrate when you keep licking your lips. It's very distracting."

"I don't do it that much. Do I?"

She acted like she had to think about it. "Only about every twelve seconds or so."

He grinned at her. "You've timed me?"

"What? No! Of course not." She sputtered. She was busted and they both knew it. "My point is, I haven't been uncomfortable around you since we met. In fact, I've felt a little too comfortable around you."

"Yea?"

"Mmmhmm. It's why I'm not feeling remotely nervous about being in my underwear in front of you."

"Are you? In your underwear, I mean?" He asked innocently. "I hadn't noticed."

She laughed at him. "It's good to know I'm not the only terrible liar in this room!"

"I'm very happy to know that you are comfortable in your underwear around me." Now his hands did begin to lightly run across the silky material covering her backside. A light rumbling sounds of appreciation bubbled up from his throat.

Liv was getting turned on by his simple movements, but tried like hell to keep her voice normal instead of strained as she spoke. "Since you've seen me in my underwear, I think I should be able to see you in yours. Then we'll see what happens after that."

His hands ceased all movement. His throat felt dry as the desert. His heart began pounding like a drum. Fitz loved how forward she was. She was comfortable enough in her own skin to speak her mind. To say what she wanted without hesitation or fear. It made him want her even more. Studying her face, the words, "you never cease to amaze me" tumbled out of his mouth as he gently pecked her lips and set her on her feet.

She stuck her hands inside the rectangular pocket in front of the hoodie she was still wearing and watched him with great interest. When he reached behind his back and pulled off his t-shirt, she leaned against the wall to keep herself from jumping him. This time she wasn't going to avert her gaze from him. Instead, she let her brown eyes take in every inch of his damn near perfect body.

He chuckled lightly and asked, "what was that?"

"Huh?" Olivia asked, licking her own lips and snapping out of the clouded moment.

"You just muttered something under your breath." He was thoroughly enjoying her reaction to watching him remove clothing. No other woman had ever commented or cared enough to say anything about it before. Until Liv. "I didn't catch it."

He was teasing her and they both knew it. Taking a deep breath in, Liv replied, "oh. I said, 'look at the time. This guy is taking forever to take off his pants.'"

Fitz laughed loudly at her. She had the best sense of humor. Still a terrible liar – and why did he find that so damn adorable – but he appreciated the attempt she was giving in making it believable. "In an effort not to lose your attention any further, I'll just get right to it."

He pulled his sweat pants down to his ankles and stepped out of them.

Olivia's eyes never missed a thing. His rock hard abs, the light smattering of hair that made a little trail from the bottom of his belly button until it disappeared under the waistband of his dark colored boxer briefs. His thighs were huge and muscular too, with more hair covering them. His feet were large, toes long, and the old saying about big feet had her eyes flicking back up to the bulge in his underwear. She had a feeling whatever was behind door number one was going to make her forget time even existed.

"Well?" He asked. "Are you feeling like things are a little fairer now that I'm in my underwear?"

Her brain was so enveloped in trying to process what she was seeing and feeling, and the things she wanted to do to him, to try to comprehend exactly what he was saying to her right now. Liv squinted in an attempt to gain some semblance of clarity, but it was elusive at the moment. She nodded mutely and continued to stare at his amazing body in adoration.

That was the moment he snatched her back up into his arms and pushed her up against the wall before beginning another assault on her eagerly waiting mouth.
