Chapter 33: Trapped In The Nine Realms Club, Part 3
The cold hitting her skin was enough to awaken Audrey. Still fighting off the effects of the chloroforms, Audrey had to blink and groan her way through aching muscles. When her senses finally kicked in, the first thing she saw was a mannequin wearing all her clothes except for the running boots that still covered her feet. Realizing the cold and tight pains on her, Audrey finally took the embarrassing discovery that while she was unconscious, she had been undressed and changed into a psychedelic pink strapless bra and thong underwear, each small to not cover enough of her sensitive areas and too tight, the sensitive areas were far too squeezed. Her wrists were shackled in emerald manacles. Audrey tried to create some magic, only to be stopped by small shocks coming from the manacles.
"Uncomfortable?"
Audrey looked behind her. The same ginger-blonde girl who had blown chloroform powder at her face was relaxing on a green-cushioned chair. Her dark blue leather jacket, kilt skirt, and ripped leggings were stained with blood that had probably been there for years, her running boots the same shade of red, and her icy blue eyes eagerly giving Audrey a bloodthirsty look as she used her nail file to sharpen a hunting knife with an unusual silver blade that let out blue and red sparks.
"Did you kill your brother?" That was all Audrey could ask.
"He's more useful alive than dead." Macy Beth shrugged. "In our family, we are used to live surrounded by traitors."
A yank came from the manacles and Audrey found herself being thrown onto fang-patterned green bedsheets. She sat up and cringed in disgust. The bed itself, a silver-colored bed carved to resemble a wolf's open, had areas giving away the idea that whatever victims Kory had, humanoid or wolf, had been used as part of the decoration. Even with the mint odor coming from the pillows, the smell of carcasses erupted from underneath. The demigoddess stood at the front of the bed, arms crossed in front of her giant black, blue fur trimmed robe and her eyes looking eagerly at Audrey. Like Audrey was her next meal.
This really is a bad time for the demonic forces to not work! Audrey thought. She still couldn't hear Alastor. Why did the electricity damage the connection?
"You know something I hate about Auradon, Sugar Pie?" Kory Lokisdottir asked.
"Me?" Kory volunteered in a venomous tone.
"Aren't you sexy?" Kory rapidly appeared in front of Audrey and pinched her cheek. "Sadly, no. I hate Auradon because these self-entitled bastards thought they could reshape the world as they please and tell their mindless drones their ideas of purity. Your old home was basically a nursery; nobody really knows what it means to grow up."
"I guess it's how you flatter yourself? No wonder you lose so many toys!" Audrey swung her shackled wrists, hoping to hit Kory in the face. Yet again, with her speed, the demigoddess snapped her fingers and the manacles suddenly tripled in weight, nearly sinking into the bed's mattress. Audrey found herself laying on her stomach and unable to lift herself up, which got worse when she felt an icy hand resting on her back and going up and down her spine. "What do you think you're doing?" She hissed in disgust.
"Toying with you." As if to further emphasize her point, the demigoddess' fingers tapped their way up Audrey's spine like a five-legged spider, slithering and spending time scratching the area underneath the bra strap. "I won't bar you from the honesty when you don't have much time left, Sugar Pie. You and I both have something in common."
"I'm nothing like you!" Audrey spat.
"No fucking kidding," Macy rolled her eyes in sarcasm.
"Let's be polite, Macy," Kory quietly chided. "It's not her fault if she's ignorant. You are partially right, Sugar Pie. Morally and ambition oriented wise, you and I are far more opposite than a cobra and an anaconda locked in the same cage. Our strict similarity, however, is our deals with our devils." She smirked when Audrey turned her head to give her a confused look. "Yes, Audrey Rose. Very much like you, I summoned a demon decades ago to satisfy my greedy needs."
"Let me guess. You wanted to expand on your personal reign of chaos and fun, you purposely summoned a demon to get powers to expand your life so that whatever you did to your victims would keep you alive, but for some reason whatsoever, you don't want to meet your end of the deal or face him in Hell, so I'm your one-way-ticket to permanent immortality." Audrey's statement caused Macy and Kory to widen their eyes in surprise.
"How'd you figure that out?" Macy asked.
"I'm from Auradon, assholes!" Audrey spat. "All the villains' reason-to-be in the history books are the same. I want to be the fairest of them all! I want to take over a kingdom! I want to kill animals for fun! I want to prove myself by conquering others! I want revenge by murdering those who wronged me! I want to force my beliefs on the world! I want to marry this girl because I'm entitled to have her! And excuse me, but I'm friends with Mother Gothel's daughter and the old lady treated her kids like shit because she hoarded a magic flower to keep herself young! So, don't blame me if I'm not surprised!"
Kory winked. "Good reasoning, Sugar Pie."
"Yeah, my Ma did always say that the villains abandoned on the other side of the mist were very uncreative," Macy shrugged.
"The main thing I don't get is why you won't fulfill your end." Audrey stared at Kory. "You got the powers to stay alive; what did he possibly ask that could make you betray your contract?"
"Yeah, that's the thing." Kory sank her ten fingernails into Audrey's skin and dragged them down her spine. Audrey yelped in pain, certain that she felt blood coming from the scratches. "Unfilled or never-agreed-beforehand contracts lead to the mortal client serving the demon contractor in the afterlife, but my provider said that for each victim I feast on, I will serve him for 30 demon years once I die! And I have fucked up hundreds of mortals, even my own demigod ex-boyfriend to keep myself alive! My problem is that 30 demon years convert into 1 mortal year, it's taking me too long, and I'm not going to wait until my provider dies in Hell to take it easy!" Kory forcefully flipped Audrey on her back, not caring if Audrey's bloody back made a number on her bedsheets. For once, Audrey actually saw Kory without her sadistic smile, this time with a sadistic growl. All her teeth now looked like actual fangs, but more like a vampire's than that of a wolf, and her eyes both dilated and bared tints of red. "You're young, a virgin, and probably the only other person in the world who rivals me in magic! Once I'm through with you, your essence will keep be eternally young and alive PERMANENTLY and my provider can go kiss his ass on his contract! And you won't have to worry about your own arrangements with the Radio Demon, because once we're done, Macy will kill you with a special treat that will erase you from the plane of existence! You won't even get to see him in Hell!"
"Thanks for the spoiler alert, I'll think of it when YOU go to Hell!" Audrey folded her legs and kicked Kory in the stomach. The demigoddess crashed onto a nightstand and Audrey forced herself off. Macy got off her seat and threw daggers at Audrey's direction. She dodged them and they pierced onto the bed's skulls.
"DON'T HARM HER! THAT HONOR GOES TO ME!" Kory shouted. The weight of the manacles did a number on Kory as she tried getting up on her feet. Macy ran in an attempt to tackle her down but Audrey swung her hands at her, hitting her on the side with the manacles. Macy landed on the floor in a grunt, but despite the pain on her ribcage, her hand went through her kilt skirt's pocket and pulled out a taser. She aimed it at Audrey's ankle, shocking her with electricity. Audrey let out an agonized scream and dropped on the ground.
"Rethink who you summon, lassie. Electricity and your powers aren't buddies." Macy chuckled. Kory helped Macy up while an electrocuted Audrey whimpered in pain.
"I won't… give you… what you want…" She spat some blood out of her mouth. Kory bent down and tightly cupped Audrey's cheeks in her hands, scratching her with her fingernails.
"Obviously. None of this is with your consent. But don't worry. Not only will I have pleasure destroying you, but I'm generous enough to ensure that your FIRST and LAST adult experience are pleasurable." Still holding on to Audrey's cheeks, Kory lifted her off the ground like a ragdoll. "Macy! Get the electrodes!"
Meanwhile
In some dark room, an air vent gate got kicked open. Charles Frollo pulled himself out and used his satchel as a landing cushion when he jumped off the vent and fell onto the cold floor. While his legs and arms were sore from the climbing, at least his sides were protected.
"Dang… I'd better have killer calves after all this…" Charles knelt to put his climbing axes back in his satchel. In the darkness, neon lights and bubbling noises alerted Charles. He got up and looked at the source. Facing him were dozens of giant tanks very much like those he had seen at the back of Gaston's tavern. He remembered how in his youth, Frollo's goons would drag him along to the back and get their supply of freshly brewed beer from Gaston to celebrate the New Year. However, Charles was certain that whatever Kory Lokisdottir brewed in the tanks wasn't French beer. He took some cautious steps and had a better look at them. All the glass tanks were filled with neon purple liquid, tiny rainbow bubbles circulating in it. Upon leaning in for a closer look, Charles was certain he had spotted the outlines of withered faces in the bubbles, the presence of stacked glasses by the tanks not really helping things out. He searched through his satchel until he pulled out his demonology book, flipping through the pages until he landed on the paragraph he was looking for.
"'Succubus and Incubus demons. Hellborn or sinner, these demons are known for tormenting victims sexually,'" Charles quietly read. "'While succubus and incubus demons follow the orders of Asmodeus, Prince of Lust, and can damage the health and lives of mortals and demons alike, any powerful demon in Hell's power chain can pass a contract with a mortal to give the client succubus or incubus powers in order to keep themselves young and alive… by feeding off others' essences!'" Charles gasped in horror and looked at the tanks. "Putain… And Audrey's next on the chopping block… Seigneur, protégez la. La demi-déesse est pire que mon père." (Lord, protect her. The demigoddess is worse than my father.)
Charles wasn't sure if it was pure coincidence or a sign of God, but the bubbles in the tanks started flashing rainbow lights as if to illuminate a path ahead of him. In the darkness ahead, the lights revealed the silhouette of a stone podium. Charles put his demonology back in his satchel and slowly walked towards the podium. His right hand's fingers fidgeted to create a small flame to act as a temporary torch. His own purple fire illuminated to reveal a grimoire resting on the stone podium. Charles took out the flame and picked up the heavy grimoire, bringing it closer to the nearest tank so that the purple neon fluids could reveal its cover. Sure enough, the grimoire was greyer than the podium, its spine decorated with abstract carvings of vines and winged insects, and the cover probably being the most disturbing: abstract demon silhouettes circling in a whirlpool, the heart being a head with asymmetrical horns and a top hat. The top of the grimoire had a cloud of rainbow sticky notes sticking from the top of the pages, each labeled in Nordic runes.
His fingers fidgeted towards the sticky notes until a scream coming from outside alerted him.
"KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF ME!"
Charles' eyes widened at the voice recognition. "Audrey?" He shoved the grimoire into his satchel.
"MACY! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO SHOVE THOSE ELECTRODES ON HER TITS? I DON'T WANT MY ARMS GETTING TIRED JUST FROM RESTRAINING HER!"
"THEN GIVE ME MORE CHAINS FOR ME TO HOGTIE HER! I SWEAR, YOU KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO FUCK HER UP BEFORE WE KILLED HER, SO YOU COULD HAVE PROPERLY CHAINED HER!"
"Oh no…" Charles shot a ball of purple fire in the air, creating a miniature purple sun. Under its lights, stairs were revealed leading upward to some doorway. Charles ran towards it, hoping to reach it before it was too late for Audrey.
Of course, he didn't anticipate the Hellhound appearing out of nowhere, blocking him from the stairs, and baring its fangs at him. He didn't have to ask. He knew it was Carmine, the demigoddess' Hellhound whom the Beth boys feared so much.
"Uh… nice doggy?" He chuckled nervously.
Back in the penthouse
Audrey hated the way her limbs were tied behind her back with heavier chains. She hated how Macy practically sat on her to pin her down while Kory stretched out the wires of the circular electrodes, causing sparks to fly. She hated how for some reason, electricity was blocking the demonic forces and she couldn't contact Alastor or let her anger manifest into the Queen of Mean. If anything, the damaged connection probably kept the demon from knowing what was happening to her.
"The chains are just to keep your down temporarily, but I wanted to make it symbolic as well," Kory sneered. "You obviously don't know this, but in the common eras WAY before the United States of Auradon, the United States of Anarchy, and the Isle of the Lost, Western cultures were VERY cruel in matters of slavery. Had you lived in the REAL WORLD; you would have never enjoyed the indulges that came with your regal title. While you relaxed on fancy cushions, feasted on caviar, and waited for your happily ever after, people like you had to suffer the impacts left from the oppressors. Lived a couple centuries ago and you'd be with them in chains, treated as insignificant and most likely turned into a fancy lady. In and out of Auradon, you don't understand what it's like to be oppressed for being different or exploited because the oppressors find something appealing in you. You probably only know how to oppress. I saw the way you treated the VKs. Like they were beneath you. Even in this city where everyone is superior to the villainy you're used to, indulging in power and luxury, you see yourself as morally superior to them. Your greatest flaws are your naivety and your pride."
"Yeah, but at least I'm humble compared to you," Audrey snarked, groaning as Macy flicked her behind the ear. Kory gave out a chuckle before leaning in. Audrey yelped when she felt the cold hands slip under her bra and viciously squeeze her breasts before sticking the round pads onto her scratched skin.
"Let me explain something to you!" Kory snapped. "The moment I shove the last pad into your cunt, I will electrocute your senses, not only further weakening you but increasing your arousal areas into a submission you won't be able to come out of! You will groan, moan, and scream for me as I'm the first and last person to lick, bite, finger, and toy! I will break you until I directly collect your essence, draining you of your powers, your youth, and everything else, and then Macy will stab you into oblivion, it will be like your soul and body never existed! You will never enter Heaven or Hell; you will cease to be! But in the end, you won't care!" Kory sneered as she stuck a finger into Audrey's mouth, pulling the end of her lip to force a smile. "You'll be too absorbed by the act, you won't resist at all! The virgin mortal will be thanking the demigoddess for showing her the errors that childish land of Auradon committed! You're welcome in advance, Audrey Rose, for exposing you to sex and ravishment before your existence ends!"
"That's probably the most though-out monologue I've ever heard you give to your victims." Macy shuddered. "Fantastic."
"Thank you!" Kory gave her a bow. "Any last questions before we finally stick it in?"
Audrey gritted her teeth. At this rate, verbally distracting them like she did with the Beth boys might be her best salvation. She opened her mouth to say something, only to sniff when she picked up a strange odor. "Is something burning?"
"Kory, there's smoke coming from behind the bookcase!" Macy pointed at the fancy bookcase across the room.
"My essence supply room! Tell me you didn't leave Carmine those spicy burritos, you know she can't handle spicy food!" Kory dropped the pad on the ground and ran for the bookcase. "Baby! I'm…"
Kory got interrupted by the purple explosions. Macy jumped off Audrey, giving her the opportunity to turn and see the purples flames on the other side of the doorway. A big ball of fur, obviously Carmine, ran out of it, howling and whimpering at its mistress.
"MY BABY! WHO DID THIS TO YOU?" She exclaimed when she saw the scorch marks and bleeding cuts on her pet's back. Before they could say anything, golden balls were shot at them, trapping Kory, Carmine, and Macy in a giant brick of gold. Audrey heard running sounds from the flames… and Charles stepped out, satchel and flintlock gun at hand.
"Golden Touch 200. Never ignore the story of King Midas." Charles' purple eyes turned towards the bed and widened in horror. "Audrey!"
"Charles! Why are you here? I thought you were booted out!"
"We'll talk about this later. Bite your lips and don't scream!" Before Audrey could ask, Charles ran towards the bed, holding up a hand glowing in purple hands before punching it onto the chains. The emerald manacles and chains heated and melted at his touch. Audrey managed to hold back a scream when the melted gemstones burned her skin but let it out when it hit her scratched parts. She jumped off the bed in pain and found Charles' hands on her back and left shoulder.
"OW! Charles, what are you…"
Charles: Fleur aux pétales d'or,
Répands ta magie
Inverse le temps,
Rends-moi ce qu'il m'a pris
Despite his eyes glowing purple, Charles' fingers let out a current of golden light that flowed its way through Audrey's skin. She gasped, both at the sight of her injuries glowing but at the lyrics. She knew the tune from music classes back in Auradon. Back then, she had taken classes to understand songs in French and English so she immediately recognized Rapunzel's most notable songs.
Charles: Guéris les blessures,
Éloigne la pluie
Ce destin impur,
Rends-moi ce qu'il m'a pris
Ce qu'il m'a pris
And just like that, the scratches on Audrey disappeared. She felt the sudden energy flow through her veins. She snapped her fingers and her clothes flew off the mannequin to materialize over her body. "I don't believe it! You have the powers of the Sundrop Flower?"
"We'll talk later! This gold will only last twenty minutes, so we got to move!" Charles grabbed Audrey's wrist, pausing when he heard loud cracking sounds coming from the gold block. "It ain't gonna last! RUN!" Charles pulled her out of the bedroom and into the fancy penthouse. The front door burst open and the three Beth boys stormed in, armed to the tooth with weapons. Audrey shot a blast of pink magic at the eldest Beth boys; Alasdair easily dodged it while Aengus got sent crashing back into the hallway. Audrey couldn't look at Blair, especially when she realized that the choker necklace he had was glowing green and probably telling him to attack. So was Macy's retaliation. Speaking of Macy Beth, the gold chunk finally exploded in the bedroom, an angry shout was heard, and Audrey and Charles had to duck to avoid the thrown bed. The massive window exploded into a thousand shards while the bed probably crashed onto the street.
"I'm sport when it comes to chaos, but I cross the line when people harm my pet!" Kory snarled as her robe transformed into the fur cape and modernized Viking armor she had worn during the turf war. "BLOODY THANES! Rip the rat to shreds!"
"Dans tes rêves!" Charles pulled Audrey as he ran towards the window.
"CHARLES, ARE YOU INSANE?" Audrey screamed.
"YES, I'M THAT KIND OF GUY!" To that, the two jumped out the window. The wind whistled like a chorus in Audrey's ears and flew through her hair while they fell. The building was so tall, the city almost looked like mountains… and they were falling like birds. She kept blinking to keep her eyes open and almost picked when Charles nearly lost his hold on her.
"CHARLES!" Audrey grabbed his wrist against the pressure of the wind.
My Queen?
"YOU GOT TO STOP THE CRASH!" Charles shouted.
"HOW INSANE ARE YOU?"
My Queen!
"INSANE ENOUGH TO TRUST THAT YOU CAN KEEP US FROM LANDING ON THE GROUND LIKE CREPES!"
AUDREY ROSE!
"WILL PEOPLE STOP SAYING MY FULL NAME?" Audrey's vocal pipes erupted the frustration and anger. As if a volcano replaced her stomach, her thermal heat suddenly increased. As they kept falling, Audrey could only see red, pink, and black flames encircling her as she held on to Charles. The growing fire in her left a comet-like tail in their fall.
"AUDREY?" Charles nearly freaked when Audrey suddenly changed. Her cloak suddenly fused with her body, he had to quickly hold on to her shoulders as the fusion grew into flaming wings and tail. Her legs thinned as her boots turned into talons. Her brown locks became a fiery pink mane and her human features formed in avian ones. They got too close to the ground… until Audrey's brown eyes opened to reveal pink eagle eyes. The majestic wings flapped open and flew in a swoop, missing the ground and taking back to the sky.
"Holy shit!" Jessie exclaimed when she and Iclyn, from their position on the ground, saw the unnaturally colored giant bird flying off with a screaming Charles. "Did Audrey just turn into a freakin phoenix?"
"Wicked! Let's go." Iclyn grabbed Jessie and used her ice powers to dash after them.
Minutes later
Fear and fascination were overwhelming Charles. He was holding on for dear life and riding on his friend who had just turned into a phoenix. His fire powers were the only thing keeping him from burning up at the mere touch of Audrey's fiery flames.
"Audrey! Can you hear me?" He leaned in close enough, hoping he could hear her. The pink eagle eyes stared back at him.
"AUDREY! BUILDING!" Charles pointed ahead at a building bearing a billboard for the Immediate Murder Professionals. Audrey effortlessly flew away from it, though judging how her fiery tail burned the billboard, Charles frowned at the possibility that she was showing off. "Audrey! This is probably the coolest thing ever, but I'm scared! Take it easy!"
"SNOWBALL!"
Recognizing his nickname, Charles looked to his right and saw Iclyn skating above ground on a trail of ice, with Jessie gripping on to her shoulder.
"YOU OK?" Jessie shouted.
"YEAH, I JUST GOT KIDNAPPED, CHAINED, AND TOSSED AWAY BY SOME SCOTTISH ROYALTY, CLIMBED UP AN AIR VENT, FOUND A CREEPY SPEAKEASY, WRESTLED A HELLHOUND, ALMOST PUT THE BAD GUYS IN A CHUNK OF GOLD, AND JUMPED OFF A BUILDING TO FIND OUT THAT AUDREY CAN TURN INTO A PHOENIX! YOU KNOW, MY TYPICAL UNTYPICAL FRIDAY AFTERNOONS!" Charles shouted over the wind.
"NOIR CALLED BEATRICE AND OSBOURNE BECAUSE OF THE EMERGENCY! THEY'RE WAITING OUTSIDE THE TRAIN STATION! YOU GOT TO LEAVE NOW!"
"AUDREY! YOU HEARD HER!" Charles shouted at the friend-turned-phoenix, who merely screeched back at him. "I DON'T SPEAK BIRD! PARLES EN FRANÇAIS!" (Speak in French!)
"JUST FOLLOW ME!" Iclyn skated in front of them and the phoenix followed the trail of ice as Iclyn skated mid-air around buildings, past parks, around a roundabout, and close enough to a fancy café where Zeniko Zemo spit out his coffee in shock at the site of the flying creature.
"HOW DID AUDREY TURN INTO A PHOENIX?" Jessie shouted to Charles.
"I DON'T KNOW! I THINK THE DEMONIC FORCES CAME BACK TO HER WHEN I HEALED HER! MAYBE ALASTOR SAID SOMETHING TO HER? HOW SHOULD I KNOW, DO I LOOK LIKE I RIDE PINK PHOENIXES EVERY DAY?!"
"AT THE END OF THE STREET! THE TRAIN STATION'S JUST THERE!" Iclyn shouted. The group lowered a bit, keeping their course towards the dark-colored station ahead of them. They were almost out of this city; Charles could feel it. He felt it until a gunshot was heard and he held on to Audrey as something struck her wing. The phoenix let out a pained screech and fell towards the ground. Iclyn created a snow cushion for them to land on as Audrey reverted back into her human form. A cloud of steam rose from where she landed while she cried in agony.
"Audrey!" Charles forced himself off the snow to see what hit her in the arm. Cautiously using two fingers, he pulled out the silver bullet out of her skin. Audrey clutched onto her injury, screaming in pain. "Don't worry, Audrey… I'll fix it…" Before he could raise his hand, Charles picked up the sign of an unsheathed dagger. He swung his leg, causing Macy Beth to fall on the ground and to be sent crashing against the nearest car. He managed to grab the strange silver dagger she had dropped and threw it towards her. He initially targeted Macy's chest, but as the two groups approached, nobody anticipated the Hellhound that ran forward and put herself between Macy and the dagger. Iclyn and Jessie were shocked, Audrey was injured but still with enough senses to understand what was happening, the Beth siblings looked like the world was ending, Charles realized he made things worse, and Kory…
Great God, Kory. The demigoddess tossed away her helmet, revealing her anguished expression as she ran for Carmine. Unfortunately, it was too late. Carmine had been struck on the back. Kory's green eyes were showing an amount of tears she had never shown before until she watched her beloved pet and familiar give out one last howl before as a light tortured her from within and the Hellhound disappeared in an electric explosion that destroyed all the cables in the neighborhood, even destroying the dagger. Kory dropped on her knees before the spot where Carmine had disappeared into oblivion.
"My baby…" Kory's quiet sob turned into an enraged one that shook the ground. "CARMINE!" She viciously turned her head towards the group, but primarily at Audrey and Charles. Despite her injury, Audrey used her spare one to pull Charles behind her. Iclyn summoned some ice swords while Jessie pulled out a baseball bat with nails sticking out of them. Kory's grey hair spiked out into a wild mane, her bones could be heard cracking as she got taller by two feet, and her face. Her face was the worst. It glitched for minutes, changing into a thousand different faces, the faces of people that others hated but were forced to look at whenever the demigoddess was near them. The faces disappeared to reveal a more horrifying one: ice blue skin, youthful features clashing with withered ones, venom green irises shining over blood-red sclera, and a mouth full of fangs dripping in blood.
"Tell me that's not her real face…" Alasdair himself shuddered.
"Nope. I see that everyday…" Macy then berated their opponents. "Nice going, morons. Kory Lokisdottir only reveals her real appearance when she's angry… AND YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!"
"I think we get the message!" Audrey snapped despite her pain.
"You know…" Kory's vicious face let out a hiss worse than a thousand snakes. "The only reason I planned on killing you after sucking you out dry was because somebody else REALLY didn't like you… Hated you SO BAD that he sent me a holy weapon with modifications just to wipe you out of the surface of existence! His reasons behind his death wish on you are PATHETIC, but I'm starting to think that he was right that you are better off being rubbed off than fucked off! I WILL DESTROY YOU AND EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS TO YOU UNTIL NOBODY REMEMBERS OR CARES ABOUT YOU BEING EXTINGUISHED!"
"Do you want us to kill them all for you?" Aengus asked.
"YOU MALES ARE USELESS TO ME! ONLY MACY IS WORTHIER THAN THE REST OF YOU! I LOST MY PRECIOUS BABY TO THOSE PRIMITIVES AND I WILL NOT LET THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO MY BEST FRIEND! YOU SCOTS ARE ON FURLOUGH WHILE I KILL THEM MYSELF!"
Audrey held Charles behind her, ready to expect the worse. In the end, she wasn't sure what was worse. The enraged demigoddess with a thirst for a killing spree crazier than Ursula, or the shower of bullets coming in from the top of a building. Iclyn created an ice shield to protect her friends, the Beth boys hid behind cars, and Kory summoned a magic shield to protect her and Macy. In the midst of the shooting, Iclyn saw the horned silhouettes on the building.
"THE IMMEDIATE MURDER PROFESSIONALS! WE GOT TO SCATTER!"
