Disclaimer: I don't own Kids Next Door and neither the song of the Guns 'n Roses.
Author's notes: I'm back! Well, this is a story I came up with one day! I don't know if it came out well, in my opinion its sucks and it must be full of errors, but then again let me know, okay?
Oh, just to let you know, in this story they are twelve years old.
Sometimes.
Sometimes when looking at her he could feel his heart pound with such strength and rate that he could swear he was going to die.
Sometimes when talking to her he would think about closing his mouth shut and kiss her breathlessly.
Sometimes when holding her hand he would tell himself to stop sweating because he was too afraid to let her know.
And when she was scared he could stand near her, giving his word that he will always protect her, that he will always be with her and that he will never let her go.
Sometimes he could feel like wanting to spill it out when looking at her with another guy.
Sometimes he would think that she didn't deserve him.
Sometimes he just wanted to be left alone with her and hug her, whispering something in her ear.
Sometimes wishes come true…
It happened one day when Wally was alone in the Treehouse with Kuki, as the others were out on a secret mission.
He had heard somebody cry and so he had decided to go and check things out. But seeing it was his Kuki he immediately run to her and sat down beside her on the sofa.
"What happened?" he asked. Kuki didn't look directly at him but remained there, sobbing, with her hands on her eyes.
"Oh, Wally…" she whispered, "That… that Jack…"
Wally knew that name. It was a boy they met some months before. He had insolently asked his Kuki out. They're being dating even since. Wally hated that guy, he always pissed him off.
"What did that jerk do?" he asked with more hatred than necessary, Kuki sobbed again.
"He left me…" Wally couldn't believe his ears, "He loved someone else…" and she started to cry again. Wally was mad. He just wanted to go out and punch that Jack hard in the nose, but, then again, he couldn't leave Kuki alone.
Without thinking, and unsure of what to do, Wally hugged caringly Kuki and whispered.
"Don't you cry tonight, I still love you babe, don't you cry tonight, there's a heaven above you babe… and don't you cry tonight…".
Kuki stopped crying and without Wally noticing it she smiled.
The next day she entered Wally's room with a wide smile on her face. She was hiding something behind her back.
Wally looked at her and blushing he said:
"Are you okay today?"
"Yeah, I'm fine…" she said and smiled at him, "Thank you for yesterday…"
"Eh… you're welcome?" he said lightly embarrassed, she just laughed.
"Anyway I bought this for you…" she said and gave him the thing she had been hiding. It was a puppet: a mini koala holding a big heart that said 'I love you'.
Wally looked at it and then looked at Kuki, who just smiled.
"I…"
"It's a gift for yesterday night… I much appreciated what you did for me…" and she walked out singing happily to herself.
Wally looked at the koala and smiled.
Yeah, sometimes wishes come true.
Sometimes some things remain unspoken.
But she always made him feel special.
End!
