"There!" Howie happily announced later that afternoon. "Now we will be able to see what's going on when we're done!"

Sue smiled at his handiwork. He hid a camera in the bushes that were next to the storage shed, pointing it at the door so when watching the video, you could see whoever walks past. "That looks good!

"Can you help me watch the video? Just in case you need to read lips or anything?" He asked.

She nodded. "Of course!"

"Great! He excitedly replied. "It will be like old times. You, me, undercover on a case, arresting the bad guys!"

She chuckled. "It will be similar, yes."

"Thief surveillance, here we come!" He announced as he was happily walking to the limo.

Still laughing, Sue trailed slowly behind, ready to get back to the hotel.

?-?

"I'm hungry." Howie announced. It was later that evening and he, Jack and Sue were watching the live feed in the Hudson's hotel room. It was pretty boring work. Other than a few people, there was no movement at all.

"If I give you some food, will you promise to talk quietly? The kids are sleeping in the next room, remember." Jack quietly asked.

Howie embarrassedly looked at him. "Sorry." He replied a lot quieter than his announcement.

He nodded, not believing him as he got up to go get some snacks.

"So do you think they'll strike soon?" He asked quietly when Jack was a safe distance away.

"I hope so," Sue replied, yawning. "It's already 10, which equates to 1AM DC time."

"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that." He said as Jack set a bag of snacks in front of him. Smiling, he signed his thank you.

Glaring at him for a few seconds, He didn't say a word as he went back to watching the screen.

"I hear something!" Howie loudly whispered, a little too loud for Jack's taste

"What does it sound like?" Sue quietly asked.

"It sounds like," he started, intently listening to the sound as he turned the computer's volume all the way up. "Like grunting?"

She frowned at his audio description, then went back to the computer screen. As soon as she did, something went over the camera lens, then it disconnected. "What just happened?"

"No, no, no, no, no!" Howie exclaimed, getting louder with every no. He took the computer over to see if he could bring back the signal, but was unsuccessful. "I don't know what happened!" He complained.

"Who knew you were doing this?" Sue asked

"He shook his head. "Not a soul. Well, except you, of course."

"Maybe they watched you." She suggested.

He nodded. "I'll have to go over there to see what happened."

"Well, if you do, you don't have to come back here. We're going to bed. You can tell us in the morning." Jack replied as he stood up, yawning as well.

Howie nodded. "Good idea. That way we'll have fresh eyes. Well, see you later!" He announced, then left.

Chuckling as Howie left, Jack turned to go to bed.

What's so funny? His wife asked, following closely behind.

"That man. He is so, so, I don't know." He replied when he turned around to face her, signing the last part.

She smiled. "I know what he is. He's Howie."

Laughing, he nodded. "TRUE BUISNESS!"

?-?

"Have a good night's sleep?" Howie asked the next morning when he picked the Hudson family up.

Sue nodded. "As best we could."

"Good. Cause I have our next strategy." He replied, mischievously smiling.

"Oh? And what is that?" Jack suspiciously asked.

"Well, when I went back to the storage shed, it was locked, the camera was gone and some more stuff was missing from inside. So right then and there I devised a plan." He replied.

"Which is?" Sue asked, also becoming suspicious.

He smiled wider. "We are going to have a stakeout!"

The couple looked at each other. "A stakeout?" Jack asked.

He nodded. "Obviously whoever it is knew about the camera, so it's time to trick them. We'll pretend to set up the camera, pretend to leave, then hide a few feet away, seeing what will happen. What do you think?" He anticipatedly asked.

"I have to admit, it's a good idea, but you're forgetting about one thing; what will we do with the kids? They can't go on a stakeout." Sue replied.

"Why not?" Mellody complained.

"Because, despite the name, it's a very boring process. You have to stare at the exact same place for hours on end, possibly with nothing to stare at or results." Jack said, looking at her.

"Oh." She quietly replied. Everyone was quiet for a few minutes.

"I have an idea; how about I stay with them at the hotel and you and Sue stay?" Jack suggested.

She nodded. "That is a good idea. That way I can read lips if they speak."

"Awesome!" "Howie happily exclaimed. "We have a stakeout planned!"
