"And that's a wrap!" Howie happily announced the next afternoon. It was Friday, the last filming day. Nothing was missing and they were able to breeze through their task, finishing a couple hours earlier than expected.

"That was amazing, Howie." Sue said as he happily came over to the Hudsons.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see it in a theater to understand it as a whole!" Jack replied.

"I would you love if you would come to the premiere! It's going to be at the same place where Mary Poppins, along with many other amazing movies premiered, so a truly classic entrance!"

Sue and Jack looked at each other, then the kids. "I think we'll skip this one. Seeing you filming has been pretty awesome, but I think we'll take a theater closer to home this time." Sue replied.

He nodded. "I understand. I still can't wait for you to see it!"

Sue laughed at his excitement. "We can't either!"

Carla satisfactorily smiled as she and Bob sat on the couch that evening, doing nothing in particular. They had packed most of the upstairs, and was planning on working on the living room in the morning, so they were taking advantage of the last night of a fully furnished and decorated room. "You know, I think I'm excited." She said, her eyes half open as she leaned on Bob.

He slightly moved his head as he smiled at her. "I am too."

"It was hard to let go of this house, but I think I did it well, all things considering."

"I think you did it amazingly." Bob replied.

She got up to look at him. "You think?"

He nodded. "I can't imagine how hard this is for you. You lost the love of your life, but are willing to try again. You grew close to your daughter, but are willing to let go of her. I'd say you are the most amazing person I have ever met. I don't think I'd be able to do half the things you have done."

She widely smiled at him. "You think?" He nodded. "I suppose I have done a lot, grown a lot."

"You have." Bob replied. "Now, what do you say we enjoy the last few moments we have in this house together?"

Carla smiled as she cuddled back in next to her fiancé. "I think that sounds like an excellent idea."

"To Howie!" everyone yelled as they clinked glasses. It was the next evening at the cast and crew celebration party. Literally everyone that worked on the production of the film was crammed into a small hotel party room. It was a bit cramped, but incredibly fun.

"So, are you planning on writing any more scripts?" Naomi asked.

Howie shrugged, pointing to his head. "I have some epic ideas up here. Have to see if they want to come down on paper yet." As everyone nodded, he received a text. When he saw who it was from, he widely smiled and literally ran out of the room. A few seconds later, he came back, another guest in tow.

"Kanani!" Sue exclaimed, seeing who it was. "How are you!"

Kanani smiled. "Really good, really excited for Howie's movie!" She replied, lovingly looking at her boyfriend.

He smiled widely at her. "I can't wait too."

"Who are these guys?" Kanani asked, seeing the two kids behind Sue who were a bit over processed by all the excitement going on.

"This is Mellody and Chris. We're adopting them." She exclaimed.

"Hi! I'm Kanani!" she said, kneeling down to be eye level.

"I like your hair." Mellody said so quietly, it could be barely discernable in the loud crowd of noise.

"Thank you!" She replied, touching her long lock of braid. "I can show you how to braid it this way, would you like to learn how?"

Mellody looked at Sue, who nodded, then turned back to the woman and nodded.

"Come on," she said, extending her hand to lead Mellody to a quieter corner of the room.

"She's amazing, isn't she?" Howie asked, his eyes solely fixed on his girl.

Jack nodded. "That, she is." They stood there quietly for a few seconds. "So, now that the movie's done, what's your next plan?"

"Well, I was planning on moving to Hawaii for the winter to be near Kanani and maybe get inspiration for my next screenplay." He replied, his eyes still on his girlfriend. "Don't worry, though. I still plan on calling DC my home for at least a few months out of the year."

"That's awesome, Howie. I, we all look forward to see what's in store for you. This is a lot better than selling steroids out of your car, eh?" He asked, smiling at the memory.

He chuckled. "Yeah, it is."

Jack walked over to his wife, who was also watching the scene. She smiled when she saw him. "This was a lovely trip, wasn't it?"

He smiled and nodded. "Mystery and all. I'll really miss it when we have to go back tomorrow."

"But we have some exciting things coming up!" She countered. "Mom and Bob's wedding, figuring out our life with two kids, watching them grow up, who knows what other excitement is in store!"

He smiled widely as he put his arm around her. "As long as I'm with you, I'm good."

She smiled widely. "ME-TOO." Staying silent for a while, she put her head on his shoulder and watched the scene before their eyes. Kanani was letting Melody braid her hair, Howie was playing with Chris. What could make this life any better? Sure, it had its ups and downs, but nothing, absolutely nothing could change the love in this moment. Absolutely nothing.
