Wolfie: This book is based off of the live action Scooby-Doo movie from 2002. I do not own anything related to this movie, only my character and all changes to the movies plot. Anyways this'll just be a quick prologue to introduce you to my character. It'll also explain why she's part of Mystery Inc. I suggest not skipping it otherwise you maybe a bit lost when it comes to who my character is. When it comes to certain information I'm just winging it cause the gang's age is not specified in this move. Now please read, review, and I hope you like this book so far.

Prologue: Coolsville, 1997

In the driveway of a two story house in Coolsville, Ohio stood two teenagers and a Great Dane dog next to a partially painted van. The two teens and even the dog, whom stood on his hind legs, were painted the van. The shortest, not counting the dog, was a girl with dusty brown hair, similar to the male next to her. Said male is her brother, Norville "Shaggy" Rogers, and the dog is their dog Scoobert "Scooby" Doo. Said dog said something in actual English that caused the girl to giggle and almost mess up the M she was painting. Granted it was broken English with unnecessary R's but it was still easy for the girl to understand. As for her, well her name is Penelope "Penny" Rogers, and she's younger than her brother by a year. The two siblings and dog were painting this van for a very special reason, plus it gave them something relaxing to do together.

"Like, are you sure you like, wanna do this Penny?" Shaggy asked, using the word like out of context as usual as he looks at his sister.

"I'm sure Shaggy. You and Scooby need someone to look out for you guys." Penny said as she looked at her brother with a smile.

"Reah rut, rit rould re rangerous." Scooby said, fearful that what they'll be doing could get Penny hurt.

"Guys your not scaring me away. I'm gonna help you guys solve mysteries. Fred and the girls already said it was ok, remember?" Penny asked wondering if her brother and their dog were that forgetful.

"Like yeah, we know they did. We're just like, trying to make sure this is what you really want." Shaggy said as he stopped painting for a moment.

"Reah, Raggy raid rou ranted ro re ran rartist." Scooby uttered as he also stopped painting in order to sit and rest his hind legs for a bit.

"I did and still do want to be an artist, Scoob. It's not like I won't have any time to draw, I can do it in between mysteries." Penny reassured, hoping that both boys would just drop the argument.

"Like if your sure, then ok." Shaggy said as he gave up, knowing that Penny is stubborn.

"Rokay Renny." Scooby said as he seemed ok with that answer as he got back to painting.

Silence fell upon the two siblings and canine again, that is till Fred, Daphne, and Velma showed up in order to help. Though in the end they didn't get much work done cause Velma "accidentally" splashed Daphne with paint. Then one thing led to another and then it was an all out paint war with it being girls vs boys. No one really won seeing as they were all equally covered in paint, but they had fun nonetheless. Thankfully the paint fight happened a ways away from the van, otherwise the stuff Shaggy, Scooby, and Penny painted would be ruined. As a result of this paint war they all had to go to their respective homes in order to clean up. In the end though they did get the van finished, took a couple moths but they got it done. The van was dubbed the Mystery Machine, as they had dubbed themselves Mystery Incorporated. Everything from that point on went perfectly, well, as perfectly as solving mysteries and unmasking villains could go.

Wolfie: This is just so you don't complain in the review section that you don't know what Scooby is saying. I also apologize for this being so short but this is just a prologue, something to introduce you to Penny with. Now once again please read, review, and I hope you like the book so far.
