"Gil, assignments?" Catherine asked from his office doorway.
"Cath could you do assignments for me, I want you to work with Nick and see how you think he's doing and don't forget Sara has an open case." Grissom was already halfway down the hall.
"And you'll be doing what exactly?"
"An experiment Cath, really do you have to ask?"
Grissom stood in the garage doorway observing the tall brunette walking towards him with a dummy in her arms.
"Bert here won't stay where I put him." Sara said with a sigh, her frustration obvious as she through him to the floor.
"What are you doing here? Isn't it assignment time?"
"Observing and yes." She gave him the 'I'm really not in the mood' look. "Catherine's doing assignments. You….look different."
"Very good Dr. Grissom. But do you think you could help while you're doing this observing?" Sara moved back over to the car.
"Sure. What are we trying to do anyway?" Grissom followed her to the car.
"Well, I'm trying to prove that our suspect couldn't possibly do what he said he was doing in this car at the time of the murder."
"And that was?" She smirked at him and he grinned. "Oh. I see."
Sara opened the car door and showed him inside.
"Well, Mark Slater our suspect said there was a cool box on the passenger's seat and that the two doors were closed when they were….you know….anyway so the drivers seat could have been pushed forward like so."
Grissom bent forward to take a look. "Well I'd say two kids would find it difficult to sit down in here. So what's up with Bert?"
She grinned. "He's a little stiff." Now they were both laughing.
"Where do you want me?" He asked already climbing in the car.
Everywhere, anywhere, all over me. Oh God, get a grip Sara your at work.
"My theory is that Mark had to be at the erm...the..." Sara was now getting all flustered.
"Bottom?"
"Yes. I've tried one position with Bert and no luck."
"Maybe Bert's just not the right guy for you Sara."
She ignored his comment and climbed in the car.
"You ready?"
"Ready for wh…." She silenced him by climbing onto his lap.
"Well I'll be…..I guess it is possible then huh?"
Grissom couldn't speak or just didn't want to with the great view he had down Sara's top.
"Grissom what are you doing?"
"Enjoying the view."
"Grissom!" Sara tried to climb out of the car only to be pulled back down on Grissom's lap.
"Wanna have dinner with me?" Grissom asked holding her around the waist to stop her from moving.
"No!"
"Have dinner with me, let's see what happens."
"Grissom I don't know what to about this."
"I do. You know by the time you figure this out it could be too late."
She leaned down and kissed him. Then Sara pulled away abruptly.
"We're at work."
"New underwear?"
"You know the answer to that seen as you bought it."
"Mmmm….looks almost as good as you do. It has to be a crime to look that good in coveralls." He leaned in and kissed her again then winked as he pulled away. "But you look even better out of them."
Sara grinned. "Thank you Mr Grissom."
"My pleasure Mrs Grissom."
The End.
