He began his new day in a box going towards the sky. Drops of sweat on his forehead, despite the cold air. The only light was from very dim blue light. He looked around, noticing many boxes that had letters on them. The boy couldn't quite make it out. It was the two letters, T and D. There was an odd sound, the sound of metal grinding against metal. He stood up, his camo sleeves pulled up a bit. He looked around, getting worried. He began to worry more, realizing he couldn't remember anything. Not his name, not his old life, nothing. Suddenly, the car stopped abruptly, sending the boy to the ground.

It began to open, a mechanical whirring sound filling the boy's ear. A bright light filled the box, blinding the boy. He could make out faint outlines of more people. A boy jumped into the box, blocking sunlight from the boy's eyes. He had a dirty black and bright yellow shirt with a skull design on it. He has black hair with a green mohawk. He had many piercings on his face and ears and seemed to be wearing a spiked collar around his neck. A small smirk appeared on his face.

"Day one. Rise and Shine." The boy with green hair said, pulling the boy in the box outside, letting him fall onto the ground. Some laughs could be heard. Surrounding the boy on the floor was a group of boys around the same age. The boy on the floor stood up, wiping off his green shirt with camo sleeves. He looked around, noticing he was in a field, surrounded by four walls, that were at least a few hundred feet tall. The boy in the green was breathing deeply. He looked at the boys surrounding him. He finally broke and took off running in a random direction. He ran for about 30, maybe 35 seconds before his legs gave out, causing him to crash to the grass. He grunted a bit as he stood up. Faint cheers could be heard from where he had run off. He sighed softly.

A few boys had taken him to a makeshift cells made of wood, sticks, and rope. The teenage boy looked around outside of the cell. He found that the others had made a little home. There was farms, makeshift houses, and even livestock. 2 boys suddenly came into view. One of the boys had caramel skin, dark brown hair, and a smug look on his face. He had a white undershirt, an ocean blue collared shirt with a red sweater vest, khaki shorts, and what appeared to be hiking shoes.

The other boy was taller, had a cowboy hat with blonde hair underneath, a pink button-up shirt that was unbuttoned, blue shorts, and sandals.

"Dude, you really took a fall earlier. You okay?" asked the boy in the pink.

"Nice camo. I almost didn't see you bite the dust back there." The boy with brown hair said. He had a super smug look on his face, like he thought he was the best person at... wherever they were.

"Noah! Geoff! Get the new guy out! We gotta give him the tour before it gets dark!" yelled a boy from afar, the same boy who had pulled him out of the box earlier. The sun was beginning to go down.

The two boys, Noah and Geoff, began to unlock the cage that the boy in camo was in.

They took him on a tour around the place that they dubbed "The Glade."

The boy in blue and red, Noah, seemed annoyed the entire time on the tour.

"And we have here, the best building in this place, the communal washrooms." He said with nearly deadly sarcasm.

The boy with black hair and camo sleeves snickered slightly.

"It can't be that bad, can it?" He asked.

"You'd be surprised. Aaaand that's the end of the tour. I hope you remembered, because I'm not giving it again." Noah said.

Geoff chuckled softly. "Aw come on, Lighten up, dude!" He said, patting Noah on the back, a little too roughly. Noah grunted.

After the sun went down, the boys began to get a fire started, in celebration of not dying yet, according to Noah and Geoff.

He sat around the fire, chilling with Geoff and Noah, and another boy named DJ. As they sat around the fire, a few of the boys started playing a game of sorts.

One boy stood in a circle of sand, while another boy tried pushing him out. One boy seemed to not be losing, the boy with green hair. Apparently his name was Duncan. The boy in camo sighed softly, as he still couldn't remember his name. The other boys dubbed him "greenie", most likely for his green colored shirt.

One boy fell to the ground near Greenie, with a grunt, followed with groans. The four boys winced, especially DJ. Duncan seemed pretty pleased. "Better luck next time, Cody." Duncan said, and chuckled. He looked to Greenie.

"Wanna have a go, Greenie?" Duncan asked, crossing his arms. The boy dubbed Greenie shook his head. "No, no... I'm good." He said.

"Come on, dude! Have some fun!" Geoff said, patting his back. Greenie thought for a moment. He sighed, standing up. Everybody cheered.

"Alright, the rules are simple. I try to get you out of the square, you try to stay in for more than five seconds." Duncan said. Some of the boys laughed. Greenie rolled his eyes as he went into the circle. He kept up with Duncan pretty well, until Duncan pushed him to the ground, multiple times.

"Come on, a little effort out there!" Noah yelled. Someone threw a piece of food a his face.

Greenie managed to get Duncan on the floor at one point. "Not bad for a new gu-" He was cut off when Duncan sweep kicked his legs, sending Greenie to the ground. He groaned. Everybody winced, except Duncan, who stood up and wiped himself off. Sudden realization filled Greenie's mind. A name popped up in his brain.

Trent.

He stood up, his face filled with excitment. "Trent." he said out loud. "You guys, my name is Trent!" He said.

Everybody cheered, happy for him as well.
