Haruka entered the room.

"Michi, what would you like for your birthday?"

The aqua-haired girl continued to slowly brush her hair. She looked at her life mate's reflection in the mirror and smiled. "Nothing."

Haruka walked over behind her and placed her hands on her shoulders. She leaned over and whispered in her ear. "There is something that you must want for your birthday."

Michiru placed her brush on the vanity table before her and thought of the many ways her life was richly blessed.

"Isn't there anything you need?"

The water senshi was startled out of her thoughts. She looked up at Haruka and smiled. She reached up and grasped her arm and scooted over on her seat, pulling on the blonde to indicate that she should sit next to her. The two had to wrap their arms around each other's waists to remain seated. Michiru pointed to the mirror that was before them. The reflection showed the two of them, side by side pressed against one another.

"There isn't a birthday present that I need or want, because what I need and want is right there."

Blue-gray eyes twinkled back at her. "I guess I can handle that."
