Soul comfort By Tsumi Youko
Seiji tossed in his sleep, images of what his yoroi had done under Shiksaden's control haunting his dreams. He cried out.
Touma was jolted awake as his roommate cried in his sleep. Still only half awake Touma stumbled over to Seiji's bed and sat on the edge. In the pale light coming from the window he could see how badly the dreams were bothering him. Normally pale skin was almost translucent and he was far too thin. His hair was matted against his head with sweat. Touma touched him lightly on the forehead trying to wake him up. Seiji's nightmare fogged mind interpreted the touch as an attack and he threw Touma against the wall. The door to the room opened and the others came in quickly. Shin knelt beside Touma helping him up as Ryo and Shuu tried to wake up Seiji. Failing that Shuu held the blonde warrior down gently so he wouldn't hurt himself thrashing. "Come on Seiji wake up man." Shuu muttered not wanting to hurt his friend who punched and kicked him still locked in nightmares. Touma sat on one side of the bed and grabbed Seiji's hand trying to comfort him. Ryo mimicked the gesture on his other side. Shin sat beside Ryo and Shuu released the calming warrior t sit next to Touma. Surrounded by their comforting presence Seiji's mind pushed the nightmares back to their proper place and he fell into a peaceful sleep. Telling the others to stay put Shin got up and grabbed a pillow and blanket from everyone's bed and dragged them into the room. Touma got back on his bed Shuu bedded down next to the window. Ryo slept between the two beds and Shin moved to sleep at the foot of the beds. Bayyuken slipped in and slept by the door protecting his charges from their own fears. Soon everyone was fast asleep.
Seiji woke up slowly, he felt better then he had felt in the weeks since their return from New York. He opened his eyes and instinctively looked over at Touma who was fast asleep in his bed. He saw Ryo asleep on the floor between their beds and looked over to see Shuu by the window. The door opened and Shin came in carrying a tray of mugs and breakfast. The others slowly began to wake up. Seiji smiled at them thanking them for helping him.
"Hey you would do it for any of us Seiji." Shuu said taking a gulp of his coffee.
"Of course." He answered quietly. Already the pain from this last battle was fading away now and all five felt like the weight of the world had been lifted for a little while.
