I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Bentley, or any of the Coraline characters.
Coraline soon closed the door, and the two girls were out of breath. Taylor soon said, "Phew, that was close." Coraline and the Cat nodded in agreement, then Taylor said, "Okay, here we go." Taylor and Coraline soon get up, and begin walking to the living room.
As they begin walking, Taylor notices that the house was rotting away. Thinking that the illusion is vanishing, the still kept going anyway, all the way to the Beldam's lair. They looked around, and see the bug furniture twitching, until the Cat growls. They looked at the direction he was growling, and saw the Beldam, who looked less human, and had needle like hands, who said, "So you two are back." She looked at them, then said after noticing the Cat, "And you brought vermin with you."
The Cat meowed, while the girls were shocked at the Beldam's appearance, but Coraline replied, "No. We..." Coraline paused, and then said, "We brought a friend."
The Beldam got up, and said, "You know I love you, Coraline." She then looked at Taylor, then said, "And you Taylor, I see I should've taken you on that night."
Taylor looked at her and said, "So, since I forgot to mention, this is your true form, Beldam."
The Beldam looked at Coraline, and sighed, but Coraline said, "You have a very funny way of showing it."
The Beldam stood up, twirled, and asked, "So where are they? The ghost eyes?"
Coraline soon reached into her satchel, took out and showed the Beldam the eyes. The Beldam soon tried to take them, but Coraline moved back before the Beldam could take them, and said, "Hold on. We aren't finished yet. Are we?"
"No, I suppose not," the Beldam replied, she began moving away from the girls, and continued, "After all, you still need to find your old parents, don't you?" Coraline nodded in agreement, but the Beldam soon took out something, and said, "Too bad you won't have this." She showed the triangular object, causing the girls to be shocked, as the Beldam threw it into the fireplace, burning it, and she chuckled, then turned to Taylor and said, "But before the last search starts, a deal's a deal, Taylor." Taylor soon was confused, then the Beldam asked, "Coraline found they eyes, now what is it you and I are going to do?"
Taylor remembered, and then said, "Oh yeah, you and I are going to fight." The Beldam smiled, and was ready, until Taylor said, "Not so fast Beldam, I didn't used my abilities with the exception of the Staff Helicopter, as agreed, but now it is the time I set up some rules for our battle."
The Beldam thought, and then said, "Very well, what is your demands."
"Okay first things first," Taylor replied, put a hand to her ear, and said, "Bentley, send Tess back through the portal so she will be waiting for me and Coraline in the Real World."
"Roger that, Taylor," Bentley replied.
Taylor soon looked at the Beldam, and said, "Okay, you and I will do sort of a fencing, where I will hit you with my staff, while you try to hit me with your needles." The Beldam nodded, then Taylor continued, "However, if you use any magic, if you use the furniture, in fact if you use anything that is in your world, which in the Real-World counts as cheating, you lose, and you let us go without any tricks." The Beldam was shocked, but then nodded reluctantly, then Taylor said, "But to make it a counter act, there is no prizes if either of us win, just after the fight is over, the search game resumes, the first one to get five hits on their opponent, wins."
"Hmm," the Beldam said, paused, then said, "Fair enough," she soon got into battle position, and asked, "Ready?"
Taylor did a stance, and said, "En Garde." The Beldam, and Taylor began their battle, the Beldam did get three hits on Taylor, but the human girl got five hits, and won. The Beldam soon felt defeated, while Taylor said, "That was for my brother, Shadow."
The Beldam soon got her posture on, and said, "Despite this, you did blow off a little steam, just like you did with Dr. Bumby, or should I say the Dollmaker, along with the Dark Gentleman, or Dick Hamilton, or Lord Darcy Burroughs, and Lorenzo Belli, but now that's over with, I do have one prize for you Taylor," Taylor was confused, then the Beldam said, "Your freedom, so if Coraline wins or loses, you can leave my world." Taylor soon was reluctant, then nodded. The Beldam grinned, went to Coraline, and asked, "Now where were we? Oh yes."
Coraline glared, when the last eye glowed orange, and the sweet girl soon said, "Be clever, miss. Even if you win, she'll never let you go!" Coraline soon looked at the small door, which was the way out.
She soon thought, nodded, put the eyes away, and then said, "I already know where you've hidden them."
The Beldam chuckled and said, "Well, produce them."
Coraline looked, and said, "They're behind that door."
"Oh, they are, aren't they?" the Beldam asked, she soon went to it, grinning at Coraline, while Taylor followed the Beldam, since she did win. The Beldam motioned the beetle to move, which it did. Taylor soon heard some glass squeaking, and then knew, it might be a trick, and smirked, since she now knew the Real Mel and Real Charlie were inside a snow globe.
The Cat soon looks at the mantle, and whispered, "There." He jumps up, and sees the DETROIT ZOO snow globe, which had the Real Mel and Real Charlie inside it.
Coraline smiled, and whispered, "Mom. Dad."
The girls soon heard the Beldam coughing, until out of her mouth came the key, which caused Taylor to whisper, "That's disgusting."
The Beldam soon looked at Coraline, who said, "Go on. Open it. They'll be there, all right."
The Beldam shook her head, and said while unlocking the door, "You're wrong, Coraline. They aren't there." The girls soon see that the tunnel, but nobody was there. She soon looked at Taylor with a glare, "First though, after our fight, a deal's a deal, you're free Taylor." Taylor soon went in, but stopped, turned to see the Beldam, who said while holding the needle and spool with thread, "Now, Coraline, you're going to stay here forever."
No, I'm not!" Coraline replied, while grabbing and throwing the Cat at the Beldam, who landed on her face, while Coraline took the snow globe where her parents are in.
"Nice strategy, Coraline," Taylor said.
Taylor sees the cat scratched the Beldam, until he got off her button eyes, causing her to yell, "No!" She soon tossed the cat, which went on the beetle dresser, as the now blinded Beldam yelled, "You horrible cheating girl!" The room soon unraveled, revealing a giant spider web, and Coraline screamed, while the Beldam cackled.
The Cat soon jumps up off the beetle dresser, and onto the door, but couldn't hold on for long, and slipped, but Taylor grabbed him and said, "I gotcha my feline friend." The Cat soon ran to the Real-World, while Taylor looked, and yelled, "Coraline, be careful, even if the Beldam's eyes are gone, she can still find you through vibrations like a spider."
The Beldam continued to cackle, and jumped after Coraline, but missed, and yelled, "No!" The Beldam looked around and asked, "Where are you?" Coraline soon crawled, while the Beldam yelled, "You selfish brat!" Taylor soon sees the Beldam put a hand to her ear, and another on the web. Coraline soon went on one side of the web, but her satchel got caught on the web, she did soon free it, but it caused vibrations to ripple to the Beldam, who laughed, as Coraline climbed up quickly to the door. Taylor soon helped Coraline up, as the Beldam asked, "You dare disobey your mother?" Coraline was about to close the door, when the Beldam opened it, but Coraline kicked her in the face, then tried to close it, but the Beldam growled, leaving it open still.
Taylor soon tried to help Coraline, along with the hands of the ghost children, causing Coraline to yell, "Please shut it!" The Beldam soon screamed, while Taylor and Coraline grunted. The girls eventually closed the door, but not without severing one of the Beldam's needled hands.
Coraline soon locked the door, but it pounded and the Beldam screamed, Taylor soon yelled, "Go! Go! Go!" Taylor and Coraline ran as the tunnel soon collapsed.
As the ran through the tunnel, the Beldam yelled, "Don't leave me! Don't leave me! I'll die without you!"
They eventually made it to the real world, where Coraline locked the door, but both the girls fell back when there was a big thud. Both panted, and Taylor said, "It is done." Coraline looked in her satchel, but the snow globe was gone. She looked around, then exclaimed when she felt something wet, she looked and saw some water and glitter, which soon dripped on the back of her hand. She looked up and saw the DETROIT ZOO snow globe was broken.
A door opened, and heard the Real Mel's voice, saying Coraline, Taylor, Tess, we're home."
Coraline looked and happily yelled, "Mom! Dad! I missed you so much!"
Taylor soon looked while Tess, who was coming down the stairs, since she made it thanks to Bentley, went onto Taylor's shoulder see Mel and Charlie covered in snow.
Mel soon asked, "Missed us?" She looked and said, "Oh, no. You broke my favorite snow globe."
Coraline looked, and said, "I didn't break it."
"Neither did we," Taylor said as well.
"It must've broken when you escaped," Coraline said.
Mel looked, and said, "And cut your knee."
Charlie put a hand on his daughter's shoulder, and said, "Coraline, I asked you to count all the windows not put you knee through them."
"But..." Coraline tried to protest.
"Well, get yourself cleaned up. We're going out tonight," Mel said, slugging Charlie.
Charlie soon said, "We got a lot to celebrate."
Coraline looked in disbelief, and asked, "You're talking about the garden catalog?"
"Of course. What else?" Mel asked.
"But look at the snow on your..." Coraline replied, but didn't finish her sentence since the snow melted.
Mel turned and asked, "What's gotten into you, Coraline?"
Mel and Charlie turned, and walked off. Taylor looked at Taylor and whispered, "I sense that they have no recollection of what happened back there, I suggest it's for the best."
Coraline soon thought, and then nodded in agreement.
The Beldam has been defeated, and Coraline has saved the eyes and her parents, while Taylor has settled the score with the Beldam. Taylor and Coraline might have defeated her, but Taylor has still a few loose ends to tie up before leaving this world, little does she knows, she has forgotten about something else, or should I say, someone.
