"This car is awesome! I thought my Benz was bad ass!"

"Glad you like it. I guess you can pick me up for school now." He laughed.

"You think I'd beat Charlie in this?"

"I think his car is pushing close to six- hundred."

They pull up to Charlie's, Violet revs the engine.

"What is that," Lucy asked.

"I bet that's Violet and Franklin," Charlie opened the door.

"Look what I got," Violet boasted.

"Yeah, yeah, and I'm not invited," Charlie teased.

"That's a low blow, Charlie," she said.

"Hey man," Franklin greeted.

"Where's yours?"

"Had to leave it at the glass place for a few days."

"So, how are two doing," Violet sat on the couch.

"We're doing great, what about you and Franklin?"

"Other than… you know… we're making the best out of it. Look at me, I don't want to hide anymore under my parents tyranny."

"You do look pretty good," Charlie said, joining Lucy back in the bean bag chair.

"What you guys watching," Franklin wondered.

"Snoopy's watching Bingo."

Just then, Snoopy comes back with popcorn and a root beers, handing them to everybody.

"Thank you Snoopy," Lucy kissed him on the nose.

"Wha? Did you…," Violet looked shocked.

"I know, right? Snoopy's weird, but he's a good dog."

"I never thought in a thousand years, I would be friends with Violet Gray… or being Lucy's love interest," Charlie said.

"Believe it, bruh! Yall look great together!"

"He was a blessing in disguise, I really did need him," Lucy kissed him on the cheek.

"You think we're friends, Charlie?"

"Uh… yeah, if that's cool."

"Friends? I'd like that, Charlie, I want to be your friend. If I ever have another party; you'll be the first I invite… after Frank here. You mended my friends heart, I think you're great for that. Thank you for giving both of us a chance."

"I try to see the good in anybody."

"I wish you girls had told me how good Violet really was, she's more down to earth than I thought."

"You did what we couldn't, Franklin; brought out the real Violet for the world to see," Lucy smiled.

"Could we be fated lovers," Violet wondered.

"Only time will tell. I'm nowhere near ready to give up, yet," Franklin answered.

"Same. It was killing me watching Lucy go through what she was, I'm not done chasing that away.".

"And look at you, Charlie, looks like Lucy is doing a number on you, too. You're turning in to a guy, I would probably date."

"Your snob is showing, Violet," Charlie retorted.

"Baby."

"Sorry, sorry… I'm working on it, trust me, Charlie."

"No biggie."

"Charlie's the nicest guy, he just needed a push to raise his self-esteem and… and baby I'm sorry; I thought I was helping with negative reinforcement, I didn't realize it wasn't working. I never told you, but Linus told me you were in love with me and stopped me from confronting you and throwing away my chance. I think he saw how confused I was. I thought about it that day; how far down would I push you, how long before you started hating me?"

"That's deep, Lucy," Franklin replied.

"Look where you are, Lu-Lu, everything is okay."

"It's just everything I've done to you, how could you love me?"

"I just do. I started getting numb to your insults, I started paying attention to you as a whole, you have friends, so you do actually care about people… other than Schroeder. Your voice would echo in my head, stuck like a favorite song. I noticed how attractive you were, you started standing out. All of this slowly started happening. I started to accept that I thought I was falling in love with you."

"I owe you so much for-"

"Nah. I'm not with you out of pity, don't be with me to atone for your past, just do it because you want to, Lu-Lu."

"In other words, Lucy; forget about what you did, move on with everybody else, accept their forgiveness," Violet added.

"Lu-Lu… Charlie," he snickered.

"What about it?"

"I think it's cute, Franklin, leave him alone," Violet scolded.

"Okay… Vi-Vi," he smirked.

"Boy!"

"Fray-Fray," Lucy added.

"Uh-uh!"

"Frah-Frah," Violet laughed.

"C'mon now," he pleaded.

"Franny," Charlie laughed.

"Oh hell no!"

"I like that one; Franny, my boyfriend Franny," she laughed.

"Don't you dare!"

"Franny," they all teased him.

"Auugh!"

"I love you, Franny," she giggled.

"Please… no more," he begged.

"This is awesome, I didn't think I'd ever experience something like this without being a third wheel," He exclaimed.

"Didn't you double date with Frieda and Schroder," Violet asked.

"We did, but it's still exciting," he beamed.

"Always the optimist, Charlie Brown," she rolled her eyes.

"I know."

"Charlie, have you thought of anything since you wanna actually start a band," Franklin wondered.

"I'm working on a few songs."

"Did he rope you in to singing, Lu-Lu?"

"Stop that! And yes, I'll sing in your band. Do you have a name for it?"

"Hmmm… I've got Peanut Gallery as a working name so far. Everybody sez you sang, but I've never heard you sing."

"Baby… go get your guitar," she stood up.

Charlie went to get his guitar, plopping back down in the bean bag chair and starts strumming a tune.

"How do you know what she wants to sang, bruh?"

"I pay attention."

"It's Yesterday's Gone, by Straight Line Stitch," Violet said.

Lucy started singing; "I'd catch the next train going anywhere if I knew you where there
I'd swim across the ocean and sail the seven seas just to have you here with me.
All I ever asked for & all I ever wanted now has flashed before my eyes
So many broken promises when you run out of time.
The morning that you left I felt a pain no one could heal- I wish it wasn't real
and I can still remember all the laughter that we shared- life is so unfair.
You lifted me up and fueled my dreams now yesterday's gone.
When I breathe I whisper your name in memory cause yesterday's gone.
But I know I can move on from that cold December rain straight from my heart
I wish you could see how I've changed.
How can I get through another show with out your face in the crowd?
Still feel that chill in the air when the lights go down.
Nothing can be said to make this all go away- just take it day by day.
Every time I fall behind I think about your smile- and I go another mile.
You lifted me up and fueled my dreams now yesterday's gone.
When I breathe I whisper your name in memory cause yesterday's gone
and I know I can move on from that cold December rain straight from my heart.
I wish you could see how I've changed.
The world still turns.
What does it mean?
I silence the scream, It feels like I'm falling down.
What does it mean?
What does it mean?
You lifted me up & fueled my dreams now yesterday's gone.
When I breathe I whisper your name in memory cause yesterday's gone.
You opened my eyes and set me free but yesterday's gone.
Now the wind whispers your name in memory cause yesterday's gone.
And I know I can move on from that cold December rain straight from my heart I wish you could see how I've changed."

Franklin sat amazed, "well shit. You know you're getting solos, right?"

"She can soul scream too," Violet added.

"Really," Charlie asked in amazement.

"Violet raps," she huffed.

"Oh shit, you do?"

"Yes, but it's embarrassing!"

"Please… you're not bad at all."

"Think we could throw some rapping in some songs, Charlie?"

"Don't see why we couldn't, man."

"Lucy, why'd you tell them that," Violets face was red with embarrassment.
