"Marcie, you look horrible, what did they do to you," Violet gasped.
"I finally had enough of Brittany and went to one of the counselors about it, since she couldn't be reasoned with, and I tried to fight her. She got Heather off, taking all the blame, then Heather tried to fight me, because Brittany got suspended, I fought back until another girl came out of nowhere."
"You should've asked us for help, you proved you're tough, you took nearly a weeks worth of beatings. So…you and your girl are my friends, time to let the bad bitches deal with it, m'kay?"
"Oh, I didn't want to get anybody involved."
"Because you thought you could handle it, and you're not a damsel in distress, who needs her girlfriend to solve all of her problems, fine, I get it but; they're going to keep coming for you, you don't scare them, and obviously they don't know who your girlfriend is, well I do, and I can't fucking imagine what she would do to me and Lucy if she found out we knew, and did not a damn thing. Point out the girls who did it, and leave the rest to us."
"Fine, anything to not deal with this anymore, plus it's hard to keep hiding it from Trish. Thank you, Violet."
"No problem, it'd be nice to get some of this anger out, dealing with all this shit with my parents."
"I swear; you two can't keep your hands… and lips off each other," Pig Pen rolled his eyes.
"You jealous, Pig Pen, it's hard not to, when you got the hottest girl in school," Charlie teased.
"C'mon, Babe," Lucy blushed.
"Are you crazy, Charlie, how did you tame this beast?"
"Watch it, dustpan," she growled.
"I'm just joking, you're very pretty, Lucy."
"Thank you, Pig Pen."
"I just gave her what she wanted, man. I'm no Casanova, or nothing."
"Well… could ya put in a good word for me with Sally?"
"Sally," Charlie guffawed. "Man, I know you got rid of that dirt attraction; my prissy sister isn't going to enjoy the mudding you do, that replaced it."
"Do you even remember what color your Jeep is," Lucy raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah… it's like beige. Or is it green? Red? When was the last time I washed it," he wondered, walking off.
"That's your friend."
"Yeah, he cleans up nice, though, since he can clean up."
"Oh, a text," she pulled out her phone. "Looks like me and Violet is going to have a problem to solve."
"Is it the Marcie thing?"
"Yep. After school," she kissed him, walking to class.
"Hey Chuck, I need to talk to you," she cuts behind him in the lunch line.
"Whassup?"
"I think Marcie might wanna break up with me, I feel like she's always avoiding and lying to me."
"I don't think she wants to break up with you."
"Man, it feels like it, am I doing something wrong, I don't want to lose her."
"You're not, I don't think you are, anyway."
"I don't know what to do."
"I'm probably the last person to give relationship advice, I don't know what you're doing, but maybe you should stop? You know how you get."
They both plop down at the table, the Pizza Hut doesn't get her as excited as usual.
"Pizza Day, Trish," Franklin cheered, "plus my car is ready."
"Yeah, good for you, Frank," she sighed.
"Aye, you still upset over Marcie, huh? I'm pretty sure everything will be okay."
Violet and Lucy smile at each other.
"You're car is fixed, no more riding with Violet," Frieda said.
"Aww, I liked doing that," she pouted.
"I swear if she breaks up with me, I don't know what I'd do, the way she's acting isn't like her."
"Hate to say it; but people change, but Marcie; it should all work out before you know it," Lucy explained.
"I guess I'll leave her alone, and wait," Peppermint Patty sighed.
Violet walked through the hall to her class, spotting some cheerleaders, deciding to take advantage of the situation, and try to nip it in the bud.
"Hey girls," she threw a bounce in her greeting.
"Violet, aye bitch," one greeted.
"Whassup, girlfriend?"
"Can you do me a favor, just a small one, I'm in a bit of a pinch."
"What's good, Vee baby?"
"I need," she looked off, "you girls to leave Marcie alone, could'cha please?"
"Girl you serious?"
"Sure am, Chels."
"Brittany's the one that has it out for her."
"I know, and since you girls have a hive mind, I figured you could relay the message to Queen Bee and Queen Bee junior."
"Yo, she's not going to listen to us."
"Tell her, anyway, tell her Violet said so, and I'd better not see you two kicking her while she's down again, LaTonya."
"Now I know you ain't threatening me, white gurl," LaTonya got in her face.
"I am. Don't forget who you're talking to."
"Oh, so you think you're tough?!"
"LaTonya… you might wanna back up," Chelsea suggested.
"You scared of her, we can jump dis bitch!"
"I can't beat her."
"Tcchh… I don't need your help no way."
"I'm the least of your worries; Lucy saw you all bullying her too. We're trying to squash this before Marcie's girl finds out… for the sake of the whole squad."
"Lucy? I ain't worried about Lucy, fuck her and Marcie's hoe!"
"It's your funeral, if you don't stop, I'm warning you," she walked away.
"I'm not done with you," she went after her.
"Stop," Chelsea grabbed her, "she'll clobber you!"
"That rich, prissy bitch," LaTonya snapped.
"Violet is one of the toughest girls in school, if you piss her off. Even if you did beat her up; you'd have Lucy Van Pelt to deal with."
"Yeah well if you so scared, then stay outta my way. I'll tell Heather and we'll deal with Marcie for snitching, and then we'll deal with Violet and Lucy ourselves," she stormed off.
Violet texted Lucy in class, that she told Chelsea and LaTonya to tell Brittany, to leave Marcie alone. Lucy texted back, asking how it went, Violet said LaTonya tried to fight her, Lucy sent; LMFAO skull emoji. Chelsea texted Heather, because she knew LaTonya probably wouldn't, telling her to leave Marcie alone, because Violet told them to. With Heather being captain while Brittany is suspended, following her decisions. Lucy texted Violet that they needed to end this ASAP. Brittany instructed Heather not to stop; she has to pay, not to worry about the threats, she'll be back soon, and to take care of Violet for sticking her nose in it.
"So, Charlie; Lucy has been really happy about herself, what did you do," Frieda whispered.
"I didn't do anything, really."
"C'mon, tell the truth," she grinned.
"All I did was show her how sexy she is… we're comparing movie notes, sir."
"How?"
"I can't really tell you, it's private."
She side-eyed him.
"It is. I fell in love with her mind, then she gave me a chance to fall in love with her body. I already thought she was gorgeous, now I know it's true."
"You mean," her mouth fell open, "yall finally did it?*
"No, no, no, we didn't."
"Mm-hmmm."
"She's still abstaining, I'm not pushing it."
"Gee… with her low self-esteem, it coulda been easy, probably. You really are a good guy, she's lucky."
"Are you jealous," he teased.
"Whatever, Charlie," she rolled her eyes.
He just chuckled, going back to the movie.
